Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 18. I had a little bit of a task with this episode sadly. It won't be that fluffy and it will probably be a heartstring puller. Because I thought that we needed just a tad bit of drama and tension between Sam and Aeron. But I can tell you that it is necessary for this episode. Without further ado Chapter 18.

Chapter 18

Dean cleaned his guns while Aeron had gotten cleaned up.

Aeron dried her hair off with a towel.

"This lawyer guy is the first heart-free corpse in town?" Dean asked not even looking up from cleaning his guns.

Sam rubbed his face. "First man. Over the past year, several women have gone missing. Dead bodies all washed up later in the bay, too deteriorated to draw firm conclusions."

Aeron groaned. "Sounds lovely." She said, scrunching her nose up. Was this the work of a werewolf? If it was, this would be her first case with a werewolf. And she heard stories from Bobby and John about werewolves. They weren't the best things to deal with that was for sure.

"But no hearts?" Dean questioned.

"No hearts. They were all hookers working Hunter's point. Now, cops are trying to keep things under wraps, but they're looking for a serial killer." Sam explained.

"And the lunar cycle?"

"Mm-hmm. Yeah, month after month, all the murders happen in the week leading up to the full moon." Sam explained.

"Which is this week right?"

"Hence the lawyer."

"Awesome."

"Dean, could you be a bigger geek about this?"

Aeron rolled her eyes.

"I'm sorry, man, but what about human by day, a freak animal killing machine by moonlight. Don't you understand? I mean, werewolves are badass."

Aeron scoffed, shaking her head. Of course Dean would say something like that.

"Sam we haven't seen once since we were kids."

Sam shook his head. "Okay, Sparky. And you know what? After we kill it, we can go to Disneyland."

"You know what the best part about it is? We already know how to bring these suckers down." He held up a silver bullet. "One of these bad boys right to the heart. So, what's our next move?"

"Talk to the girl who found the body." Sam explained.

"Meaning we go undercover." Areon said, grabbing her jeans that seem less ripped up than the pair that she was wearing at that moment. She slipped into the bathroom.

"Is there something wrong with Aeron?" Sam asked his brother.

Dean rubbed his face. "You two need to fix this."

"Dean…"

"She's thinking after we are done with the demon that killed mom that she will go out on her own. She's gonna leave us Sammy. She says we don't need her."

Sam's eyes went wide. "What? But we do need her."

"In her eyes we don't."

Sam closed his eyes. This was bad. He was used to Aeron being there on the cases that they took. It would feel so different without her there.

Aeron came out of the bathroom dressed in her better blue jeans. "Shall we head out?"

"Yeah."

SNSNSN

Madison had allowed Sam, Dean, and Aeron to come into her home. "I don't understand. I already gave my statement."

"Right, well, we just need to verify a few things." Sam said with a small smile.

"This is my neighbor, Glen,. Glen, this is Detective…"

"Landis." Dean said with a small smile. He pointed at Sam. "Detective Dante and Detective Starling." He said, patting them both on the backs.

Aeron resisted to roll her eyes at what Dean had said.

Glen stood up. "Well, I guess I'll leave you to it."

"Okay." Madison said with a small smile. "Thanks for the casserole."

"Oh, how thoughtful." Dean said, looking at Glen.

Aeron looked at Glen and something felt a little off with him. Perhaps it was just the nerves.

"Just call if you need anything." Glen said before leaving.

"He's sweet. He came over to check on me. Have… have a seat."

The four of them sat at the kitchen table.

"You must be pretty shaken up. You were Nate Mulligan's assistant, right?" Sam asked, looking at her.

"For two years, yeah."

"So, you knew all about him?" Dean asked curiously.

"Probably knew more about him than he did. Nate was…" She smiled a small smile. "He was nice."

"But?" Aeron asked, looking at the young woman.

"Nothing, really. I… He had a few scotches in him, and he started hitting on anyone in a five-mile radius. You know the type."

Sam looked at Dean. "Yeah. I actually do."

Aeron rolled her eyes. "Same here." She kicked Dean's leg.

Dean jumped looking at her.

She gave a look to him.

Dean rubbed the back of his neck. "Did, uh, did he have any enemies?"

"What do you mean? It sure looked like an animal attack." Madison looked at Dean in confusion.

"No, yeah, we're just covering all the bases. Anyone that might have had a beef with him… a former client, an ex?"

Madison had a thoughtful look on her face. She was thinking of someone.

"What?" Sam asked, looking at her.

"Well, this is embarrassing, by my ex-boyfriend, Kurt…"

"Kurt has a last name?" Dean asked, looking at her.

"Mueller. After we broke up, he went kind of nuts. He's… well, he's kind of been stalking me. He got it in his head that something was going on between Nate and I. He showed up at my office."

"What happened?" Sam asked.

"Kurt got into it with Nate, threw a punch before security grabbed him. I was lucky to keep my job."

"When was the last time you saw Kurt?" Dean asked, looking at her.

"A few nights ago. Actually, the night Nate died. We were all grabbing drinks at this bar, and Kurt showed up."

"And?" Aeron asked, moving a little bit in her seat. God this was hard. Two boys staring at Madison like she was well… a piece of meat. Aeron felt like she was the third wheel in this. Hell Madison was pretty and Aeron felt out of place because she didn't feel that pretty .

"Nothing. It was… like he was watching me. then he was gone to tell you the truth… he scares me."

SNSNSN

The three of them left Madison's apartment.

"So, what do you think?" Dean asked, looking at the two younger hunters.

Aeron stuck her hands in her pockets.

"Stalker ex-boyfriend? He hates the boss. And he was there that night." Sam said, rubbing his face a little bit.

"Think he's our dog-faced boy?"

"Well, it's a theory."

"We've had worse."

"Yeah."

"What do you say we pay Kurt a visit?"

"Yeah… let's see if anything points to him." Aeron said walking with the brothers.

SPNSPN

Dean picked the lock to Kurt's apartment and opened the door.

The three hunters went inside of his home. The three of them looked around the kitchen trying to find anything. Anything that would point to Kurt being the werewolf that they were after.

"Anything?" Sam asked his brother.

Dean closed the fridge as Aeron checked the cupboards. "No, nothing but leftovers and a six-pack."

"Check the freezer. Maybe there's some human heart behind the Haagen-Dazs or something."

Aeron rolled her eyes.

Dean turned the freezer.

The three of them stopped when they heard a door open and close. They then heard a crash.

"What the hell…" Aeron said in shock. No one was really in here with them. So this was something unexpected.

Dean went to the sliding glass door and slid them open going out. He saw claw marks on the wall of the building sliding all the way down to the ground. "Sam, Aeron. Come here."

The two young hunters joined him on the balcony.

"What is it Dean?" Aeron asked, looking at the elder brother.

"Check it out."

The three hunters looked at the wall. They heard a gunshot causing the three of them to jump. They ran out of Kurt's apartment and down onto the street. They stopped when they found the body of a cop mauled.

Aeron put her hand up to her mouth. She turned away from it. Now she was going to put that on her list of creatures that she hated hunting. Werewolves were worse than vamps.

"I'll call 911." Sam said softly.

Dean bent down to examine the corpse. "I'd say Kurt's looking more and more like our Cujo."

"Dean, if he's out here, we better check on Madison." Sam told his brother.

Aeron closed her eyes. Of course they would need to check on the pretty girl that the boys and her had met.

SNSNSN

They made it to Madison's apartment. The two brothers knocked on the door.

Glen opened the door from across the hall seeing the three of them there. "What's going on?"

"Police business, Glen." Dean said.

Madison opened the door. "What is it?"

Sam glanced at Glen. "Well, maybe we should talk privately."

Madison allowed the three of them into her home again. "Would you like some coffee?"

"Yeah that would be nice." Sam said with a smile.

"No thanks." Aeron said, offering a small forced smile.

Sam and Dean looked at Aeron with wide eyes. Aeron turning down coffee now was something different.

Madison poured two cups of coffee for Sam and Dean.

"Has Kurt been here?" Sam asked curiously.

"Not exactly."

"What does it exactly mean?" Dean questioned her.

She put the cups of coffee in front of them. "Well, he was outside last night. Just looking. Just looking at me."

The three of them exchanged a look.

"Has he done something?"

"We're not really sure." Sam explained.

"It's probably nothing, but… we just don't wanna take any chances. In fact, one of us should probably stay here with you? Just in case he stops by. Where does he work?" Dean said, looking at her.

"He owns a body shop." Madison told them.

"You mind getting the address for us?" Aeron asked with a forced smile.

Madison nodded her head and left the room.

"Thank you."

"Alright, you two go. I'll stay." Sam said, looking at the two of them.

"Forget that. You go after the creepy ex. I'm gonna hang here with the hot chick."

"Dude, why do you always get to hang out with the girls?"

"Cause I'm older." Dean said, drinking his coffee.

Aeron rolled her eyes. "Come on. We don't have all fucking day." She said, narrowing her eyes at the two of them.

"No screw that. We settle this the old-fashioned way." He said putting the coffee cups down. He raised his fist for Rock Paper Scissors.

Aeron looked at the two brothers. She crossed her arms. "Seriously?"

Dean and Sam did a round of rock-paper-scissors. Dean picked scissors while Sam picked rock.

"Dean, always with the scissors." Sam slapped Dean on the shoulder.

"Shut up, shut up. Two out of three."

They did it again and the same thing had happened.

"God!" Dean said in frustration.

"Bundle up out there, alright?"

"Come on Dean." Aeron said, grabbing onto his arm.

Dean pushed his brother and then followed Aeron out of the door.

SNSNSN

The two of them went to Kurt's workplace to see if he had been there. But that was a bust for them.

"I think you should call your brother." Aeron said, running her hand through her hair.

"You alright Red?"

"Why wouldn't I be?" She questioned him. The truth was that she wasn't, but she wasn't about to allow Dean to worry about her.

"You just seemed a bit off since we left Sam with Madison."

"I'm fine." She said, forcing a smile onto her lips that looked real. "Come on, we got work to do. Call your brother." She stuck her hands in her pockets. Maybe she would get a chance to be alone after this was all over. Maybe she would take off and go and see Bobby. But she had made a promise to John that she would help with the yellow-eyed demon. But after that she was gone. She would be able to do what she wanted to do. Hunt alone like she had been before she met the boys.

Dean dialed his brother in hopes that he would answer. "Let me guess. You're sitting on her couch like a stiff, trying to think of something to say." Dean said, scoffing a little bit. "No, he hasn't been at work all week. But because Aeron and I are good. And I mean really, really good, we got a line on where he might be."

The two of them got into the Impala.

"What's she wearing?" Dean shook his head and chuckled, slipping his phone in his pocket. "Oh, Sammy."

"Let's go. We have a job to do, Dean." She said, rolling her eyes.

"Okay, okay. You alright?"

"Fine." She said looking out the window.

"Are you certain that you want to go into this strip club?"

"Well… not really, but we don't have much of a choice do we?"

"I can drop you off at the motel."

"Seriously?" Aeron said, looking at him.

"Well I didn't think you would want to look at strippers." He looked at her. His eyes went wide. "You swing that way?"

She slapped him. "No."

"I'll drop you off at the motel and I will pick you up afterwards."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah." He nodded his head.

"Alright."

SPNSPN

Aeron awoke to her phone going off. She picked up her phone and saw that it was Dean calling her. "What is it Dean?"

"I'm coming by. Get your ass outside. We have to get to Madison's."

"What's going on?"

"Madison's the werewolf. She fucking knocked me out."

"I will see you outside. You call Sam already?"

"Yes, I did."

"Okay." Aeron quickly got up off of the couch and threw her jacket on. She hung up her cell and ran her fingers fixing her bed head hair. She grabbed the key to the room and slipped it into her pocket. She ran out the door to wait for Dean.

SNSNSN

Dean and Aeron arrived at Madison's place.

Dean knocked on the door.

Sam opened the door seeing both Aeron and Dean there.

The two of them came into the apartment.

Dean looked at Madison and smirked. "How are you doing? My head feels great, thanks."

"We've gotta talk." Sam said, grabbing onto Dean's arm and Aeron's arm dragging them to the other room. "She says she has no idea what I'm talking about."

"She's lying."

"Or maybe she really doesn't know she's changing, you know? Maybe… maybe when the creature takes over, she blacks out."

"Like a really hot Incredible Hulk. Come on, dude, she ganked her boss and her ex-boyfriend. That doesn't sound rash and unconscious."

"Yeah, but what if it was, Dean? I mean, what if some animal part of her brain saw both those guys as threats? Hell, the cop too."

"Sam this sounds all far fetched." Aeron told the youngest brother.

"What are you, the Dog Whisperer now?" Dean said scoffing.

"Look, guys, I just… I don't know, there, there, there was something in her eyes."

Aeron rolled her eyes. Of course Sam would think that.

"Yeah, she's killing people!" Dean snapped at his brother.

"But if she has no control over it…"

"Sam… She can't control it." Aeron said, shaking her head.

"Even if she is telling the truth, it's not gonna change anything." Dean told his brother.

Sam rubbed his face. "I'm not putting a bullet through some girl's chest who has no idea what's happening."

"Sam, she's a monster, and you're feeling sorry for her?"

"Maybe I understand her." Sam let out a sigh. "Look, there might be another way we can get the job done without having to waste her."

"Are you thinking what I think you're thinking?"

Sam pulled out the journal and flipped through it. "Dad's theory. Lycanthropy might have a cure if you kill the werewolf who bit you, severing the bloodline."

Aeron groaned.

"Might have a cure. Meaning who the hell knows." Dean said, throwing his hands up in the air.

"It's worth a shot."

"We don't even know where to start looking, alright? I mean, the puppy that bit her could be anyone. It could've been years ago."

Sam's eyes widened.

"Do I really want to know what you're thinking, Sam?" Aeron asked softly. Her voice was kind of harsh.

"No." Sam shook his head. "I don't think so." He walked into the other room.

Aeron and Dean followed him to where Madison was tied up.

"Madison, when were you mugged?"

Madison looked up at Sam. She didn't answer him.

"Please. It's important, alright? Just answer the question."

"Did you see the guy?"

"No." She shook her head. "He grabbed me from behind."

"Did he bite you?"

Madison looked at him in confusion. "How did you know that?"

"Where?"

"On, on the back of my neck."

Sam put his gun down and walked behind her. He moved her hair away showing Dean and Aeron the bite.

"Oh, that's just a love bite. Believe me, that could have been a lot worse." Dean let out a sigh. "Where were you at the time?"

"Walking home from a friend's loft."

"Let me guess. Not too far from Hunter's Point?"

She nodded her head.

The three hunters went back into the other room.

"The same place where those other murders happened." Sam said, looking at them. "I'm telling you, it's a werewolf's hunting ground."

"Maybe, but that doesn't mean it's gonna be out there tonight."

"It's the right time of the lunar cycle." Sam rubbed his face. "Look, I know it's a long shot."

"Hey, you're forgetting something. Maddie's probably gonna turn soon, alright? We can't just let her take off to an all-you-can-eat buffet."

"I'll stay with her."

"And if she busts loose?"

Sam didn't answer.

"Sam?"

"I'll do it."

"Sam."

"I'll shoot her alright? But Dean, I need you to go out there."

"I'm helping with this."

Sam looked at Aeron with wide eyes. "What?"

"What does the one thing that werewolves go after?"

"You don't mean…"Dean said looking at her.

"Look. He bit Madison, meaning that it is most likely a male werewolf." Aeron explained to them.

Dean shook his head. "No. Hell no."

"Deano, I don't see what the hell you are going to do. It is better for the damn thing to follow me and not some hooker."

Sam's eyes widened. "Have you ever killed a werewolf?"

"No." She said, looking at him. "But Dean is gonna need a woman there that the werewolf will follow. Better me than some hooker Sam. You aren't gonna change my mind. Besides, I have things that I used undercover at another job that I did a while ago."

Dean let out a sigh.

"Okay." Sam shook his head. "I know we can save her."

Dean and Aeron nodded their heads.

"Fine." Dean said, looking at Sam. "Just keep true to your word."

Sam nodded his head.

Dean turned his attention to Aeron. "Okay… back to the motel with us."

Aeron nodded her head. She turned on her heels and followed Dean out of the apartment. She didn't even look at Sam.

Sam watched Aeron go. He closed his eyes. Aeron really did have a death wish didn't she? He was going to be worried about two women now. But Aeron was acting colder. He didn't know what was wrong with her. Maybe she was really thinking about leaving. It scared him to even know that she was leaving. How much time did he have with her? He didn't want her to leave not knowing how he felt about her. But with how she was acting. Perhaps he needed to bury it deep inside and not let it out. Not even tell her how he felt about her.

Sam walked into the other room.

Madison looked at Sam. "Please. Just let me go."

Sam looked at her sympathetically. He grabbed a chair and turned it sitting in front of her. "Look… I know you're scared. I also know that there's no way in hell you're gonna believe me. But I'm doing this because I am trying to help you. I'm not gonna lie, alright, the odds aren't exactly in our favor. But if this goes the way I pray it does… I'll untie you, and I'll walk out that door, and I'll never come back. You'll live the rest of your life. And I'll just have a bad memory." He said as tears came to his eyes. But he meant it as the truth.

SNSNSN

Dean and Aeron arrived back at the motel that they were staying at.

Dean looked at her as she grabbed her bag going through it. "Are you certain that you want to go through with this, Red?"

Aeron looked over at him as she pulled out a small makeup kit that she had. She placed it down on the bed. "I am sure Dean. It's the only thing that I can think of." She admitted. "Better me than a hooker."

Dean rubbed his face.

She pulled out the other things that she needed out of her bag. "You gonna need the bathroom?" She questioned.

"Not at the moment."

Aeron smiled. "Good. I'll be out in about 15-20 minutes. Depends on how long it takes for all of this." She said, grabbing the items.

SPNSPN

Aeron got dressed in the clothes that she had brought into the bathroom with her. It was a mini dress black in color, sleeveless, and cowl neckline that plunged a little low, but for the overall effect it was worth it. She slipped on a pair of black 5 1/2 inch heeled dress shoes. She slipped a black wig over her strawberry blond locks and did her makeup in a smokey eye makeup and red lips.

There was a knock on the door.

"Yeah Dean?"

"How's it going in there?"

She fixed the black wig. "Fine. But don't you dare make fun of me. Or you'll have a five inch heel kicking you in the ass instead of a pair of high tops."

"I got it." Dean said, chuckling.

"Alright, back away from the door. I'm coming out and I don't want to run into you."

"I'm away from the door."

Aeron opened the door. She came out.

Dean's eyes widened. He rubbed his face.

Aeron put her hands on her hips. "What?"

"Damn. This is what you have been hiding?"

Aeron smacked him. "Come off of it Dean. This is the only way to get the werewolf to come after me. Now quit looking at me like I am a piece of meat okay?"

Dean rubbed his face. "Alright. Alright."

Aeron grabbed a coat from her bag. "Are you ready for this?"

"About as ready as I can be."

"Don't let that son of a bitching thing bite me. You got it?"

Dean nodded his head. Why couldn't his brother see her like this? Hell he knew that Sam liked her, but damn it. With how she was dressed she was a beautiful woman even with that black wig hiding her strawberry blonde short hair.

SNSNSN

Aeron slowly walked down the street alone in the dark at Hunter's Point. She closed her eyes and hoped that this plan would work. She hoped that Dean was watching out for her. She was hoping that he would watch out for her to make sure that she was safe. She carried a small clutch with her that held a small pistol that Dean had made sure to put silver bullets in just in case he missed his shot.

She could only hope that Bobby would never get wind of this. God then she would be in major major freaking trouble. He would yell at her for doing something so dangerous and allowing her to be bait.

She gripped her clutch tighter in her hands. She heard a howl. It was close by. She knew it. She began to run down the street only to come face to face with the damn thing. "Fucking hell." She scolded herself as she began to run. She had no time to dig in her clutch. Not when she had the damn werewolf chasing after her.

She felt the damn thing pounce on her knocking her to the ground. She winced when her ankle twisted in her heel when she fell. She didn't hear a crack so that was a good thing.

"Hey!" Dean yelled coming out of his hiding place.

The werewolf looked up.

Dean fired three shots into him. He pushed the werewolf off of Aeron. "You alright?"

"No, not really. Twisted my ankle. I need to get out of these heels."

"I will make sure that you'll get out of them." Dean told her.

The two of them saw that it was none other than Glen.

Dean crouched down next to Glen.

"It happened… again. Where am I? H-help me. Oh, God. Oh my God."

Aeron closed her eyes. She knew that he was dying.

Glen coughed.

"Alright, easy, Glen. Just take it easy." Dean saw the light leave Glen's eyes. Dean helped Aeron off of the ground.

Aeron leaned against him. "Let's get out of here."

"We're going straight to Madison's to go and get Sammy."

Aeron groaned. "I can't even change out of this."

"Sorry there Red, but no."

Aeron limped alongside Dean. "I think I need to take these off."

"Are you sure you want to do that out here?"

Aeron groaned. "Why do I have a feeling that you are going to pick me up if I take these off."

"Maybe because that would be correct. Plus you are limping pretty badly."

Aeron groaned.

"I'm carrying you."He said, lifting her into his arms. He carried her back to his car. He carefully put her onto her feet to open the door before helping her into it.

"Back."

"Alright alright." He said putting her carefully into the back seat of the Impala.

SNSNSN

Sam had joined Aeron and Dean in the Impala.

Aeron had long since taken her heels off and her black wig was sitting on her legs. She had fixed her hair to make it look more normal than most likely bed head when she took the wig off.

"It was sort of sad, actually. Glen had no clue what was going on." Dean said, rubbing his face.

Aeron shook her head. "That may be the case Dean, but you didn't get taken down by him."

"Maybe if you didn't wear those shoes you wouldn't have the issue."

"What happened?" Sam asked in confusion.

"She wore 5 inch heels and twisted her ankle."

"Well it does happen." Aeron said, rolling her eyes.

Dean looked at his brother. "Hey, why do you think he turned Madison instead of just killing her in the first place?"

"I don't know." Sam shrugged his shoulders. "I mean, he kind of seemed to have a thing for her."

"Maybe his primal instinct did, too. Maybe he was looking for a little, uh, hot breeding action."

"Oh come on Dean. Must you really think that way.?" Aeron said with a goran.

"Yeah something like that." Sam thought that maybe Dean was right.

"So?"

"So what?"

"Speaking of Madison…?"

"Oh, whatever."

"Don't whatever me, man, you liked her. Maybe, uh…"

"Dean, she thought I was a stark-raving lunatic."

"You saved her life."

"Yeah, but she doesn't know that."

Madison came to the car right to Sam's window. "You know, for a stake-out, your car's a bit conspicuous. What are you still doing here?"

"Honestly? Uh, we're pretty sure you're not gonna turn tonight, but we've gotta be a hundred percent, so… you know, we're… lurking." Dean told her. He wanted to make sure.

Aeron rolled her eyes.

"I know this sounds crazy."

"Sure does. Well, if we're gonna wait it out. We might as well do it together."

"Hey Dean?"

"Yeah Red?"

"Mind carrying me?"

"No, of course not red."

Madison looked in confusion.

"Don't ask." Aeron said as Dean got out of the car.

Dean opened the door slowly and Aeron carefully got out of the car trying not to have her left foot touch the pulled her up into his arms.

Sam narrowed his eyes on his brother. Why did he get to help Aeron? It wasn't fair to him, but then again maybe she liked Dean more than him. He saw the clothes that she was actually wearing. She went out in that? Seriously? That outfit looked far too good on her.

SNSNSN

The four of them were back in Madison's apartment.

"You were telling the truth, weren't you? About everything. What you did… it was to help me?" Madison asked, looking at the three of them.

"Yeah." Sam said softly.

"I did all of those horrible things… when I turned."

"You didn't know."

"So, when will we know for sure? Moonrise?"

"No, I don't think so. You turned in the middle of the night last night. I think we've gotta hang in until sun-up."

Dean looked at his brother and gave a tiny nod. "Well, it looks like we've got ourselves a few hours to kill. Poker, anyone?"

"But first of all before we play poker Dean." Aeron gave him a look. "Can we please check my ankle?"

Dean nodded his head. "Right." He looked at Madison. "Do you have a first aid kit?"

"Oh yes. Let me go and get it for you." Madison said leaving the three of them.

Dean carefully put her on the couch. "Prop your leg up."

"I know what to do Dean." Aeron said, shaking her head. She propped her swollen ankle up onto the table.

"You sure you're alright?" Sam asked softly, concerned about her.

Aeron looked at Sam. "I'm fine." She said softly, forcing a smile onto her lips. "Really I am. It's just a little sprain. Nothing that won't stop me from hunting."

Madison came back with the first aid kit."Here you go." She said, handing it to Dean.

"Thanks." He said taking it from her. Dean kneeled down beside Aeron and poked and prodded at her ankle.

"Dean, that hurts, you know."

"Sorry. I'm just making sure that you were right on the sprained ankle."

Aeron rolled her eyes. "I am pretty sure when that werewolf knocked me down I would have heard a snap if I broke it. It's not broken. "

Dean nodded his head.

SNSNSN

Hours had passed. The moon came and went and everything seemed to be fine. Madison didn't change into a werewolf. Which was good in the three hunter's eyes.

Madison looked at them. "Does… does this mean it worked?"

Sam let out a sigh of relief. "Yeah. I think so."

Madison let out a sigh of relief. "Oh, God, thank you. Thank you so much." She hugged Sam.

Dean cleared his throat.

Madison pulled away from Sam. She laughed lightly. "You too, Dean. You as well Aeron. Thank you."

Aeron shrugged her shoulders and carefully got up onto her feet.

"Aw, don't mention it." Dean shifted a little bit. "So, I'm just gonna head back to the hotel with Red. I'll watch a pay per view or something."

Aeron rolled her eyes. "And it would be nice for me to get out of these clothes." She looked at Dean. "Maybe we could watch some Scarface."

Dean looked at her and grinned. He liked that idea. "I like that idea." He wrapped his arm around her middle and helped her out of the apartment.

Sam watched nervously. Of course Dean would do that. He was giving him time to have some time with Madison. But he was worried about Aeron. He knew that something was very very wrong.

SNSNSN

Just like Aeron had said her and Dean sat down and watched Scarface. Both of them are sitting on the couch watching the movie.

A pound on the door ripped them from the silence that they had watching the movie.

Dean got up off of the couch. "I will be right back."

"It might be Sam."

Dean opened the door and sure enough it was his brother.

"She...she turned."

"What?"

"I couldn't grab her in time."

"We'll find her, Sammy."

Aeron quickly slipped her shoes on.

"What do you think you're doing?"

"What the hell does it look like Dean?" Aeron said, hobbling over to them. "I am going to help."

"No. You are supposed to be resting that ankle."

Aeron rolled her eyes. "I never listen. Come on. Just let me help."

Dean let out a sigh. "Alright."

The three of them left the motel room quickly.

"I already called Bobby. He doesn't know anything. Except he knew severing the bloodline wouldn't work. That's everyone. They all say it's impossible to reverse it."

"How come she didn't turn when we were with her?"

"Dean…"

"So, what, you put her to bed and then she wolfed out? Maybe she's gotta be asleep to turn."

"What the hell does it matter, Dean? Look, we've gotta find some way to help her, some legend we missed or something."

"If there was, don't you think someone we know would've known it."

"Well, then we have to look harder! Until we find something."

Aeron rolled her eyes. "Sam. We have no choice."

"What?" Sam asked, looking at her in shock.

She shook her head. "She's a monster Sam."

"She's a sweet girl, but part of her…" Dean said agreeing with Aeron.

"Evil." Sam said softly.

"Yeah."

"Yeah, that's what they say about me, Dean. So me you won't kill, but her you're just gonna blow away?" His phone rang and he answered it.

"Sam?"

"Madison, where are you?"

"I dont… I dont… I don't know where I am."

"Well, do you see any street signs?"

"Um… yeah, yeah, Middle Point."

"Alright, hold on, Maddie. We're coming to get you, just stay where you are."

They had found Madison and had brought her back to her apartment.

Dean placed the gun onto the table rubbing his face walking into the living room.

"I don't remember anything. I probably killed someone last night. Didn't I?" Madison questioned.

"There's no way to know yet." Dean told her.

"Is there something else we can try to make it go away?"

"We'll find something. I mean, there's gotta be some answer, somewhere." Sam said softly. Hell he was trying to save her life, but would he be able to?

"That's not entirely true." Aeron said, looking over at Sam. She was going to hate doing this to him. But it was true.

"Madison, you deserve to know. We've scoured every source. There's just no cure." Dean told her the truth. It was better for Sam to hate him instead of hating Aeron. Hell he was brothers with Sam. Aeron and Sam were friends.

Madison looked at Sam. "Is… are they right?"

Sam turned away choking up. He knew what Dean was going to do and it was going to be very painful for him to see this girl that he had sex with while Dean and Aeron were at the motel watching a movie.

"Well, we could lock you up at night, but… you bust out, and some night you will, someone else dies." Dean looked over at Madison. "I'm sorry. I am."

Madison exhaled slowly, wiping the tears that had fallen from her eyes. "So, I guess that's all there is to it, then."

"Stop it. Don't talk like that." Sam said softly, looking at her.

"Sam, I don't wanna hurt anyone else. I don't wanna hurt you." She picked up the gun and brought it over to him.

"Put that down."

"I can't do it myself. I need you to help me."

"Madison, no."

"Sam… I'm a monster."

"You don't have to be. We could find a way, alright? I can. I'm gonna save you."

Madison cried a little bit harder knowing that Sam would try to save her, but she had seen how he looked at Aeron. She knew that Sam liked Aeron. Sam would be fine without her. "You tried. I know you tried. Aeron helped and so did your brother." She let out a soft sigh. "But this is all there is left. Help me, Sam. I want you to do it. I want it to be you."

"I can't."

"I don't wanna die. I don't. But I can't live like this. This is the way you can save me. Please. I'm asking you to save me."

Sam shook his head.

Aeron walked out of the room. She let out a soft sigh.

Sam walks into the other room after Dean takes the gun from Madison. Sam choked back on his tears.

Aeron looked at him sadly.

Dean came into the room. "Sam." He held up the gun. "I'm sorry."

"No," Sam said, shaking his head. "The three of you are right. She's right."

"Sammy, I got this one. I'll do it." Dean told him softly.

Sam shook his head. "She asked me to."

"You don't have to."

Tears slipped from his eyes. "Yes, I do. Please." He held out his hand for the gun.

Dean handed it to him slowly.

"Just wait here." He said, glancing back at his brother and Aeron. He walked into the other room.

Dean had a tear fall from his eye.

Aeron closed her eyes.

The two of them flinched when they heard the single gunshot knowing that Sam had killed Madison. The two of them knew that Sam was going to feel shitty after this happened.
