"We have the Synchro Dimension, the Resistance along with the Fusion and Ritual refugees here… that's not enough?!" Kaiba shouted.

"Yes. It's not enough!" Yuzu replied. Yuzu, Reiji, Gongenzaka, Ray, Masumi and Kaiba were in the Leo Corp office.

"We barely escaped from Fusion the first time." Reiji added.

"I understand… you all did a great job to free Yusho's Academia's escapees but… Yusho is still there!"

"He has a duelist with him known as Austin; he's no doubt keeping him safe."

"We don't know what else is in Fusion! It's been weeks since you were last there!" Yuzu slammed her hands down onto the desk.

"I…. support Yuzu." Gongenzaka said.

"Me too." Masumi added.

"Of course I'm coming as well." Ray stated.

"So that's four sighed up for a one-way trip…." Kaiba expressed as if he was giving up. "Do what you want." Kaiba left the office.

"I think that's his way of saying he's worried…." Reiji said. "Plus again… we don't actually have a working method to get you guys there yet... Arcadia are working on it but there's no chance of it actually working."

"So using another teleporting blank card filled with the targeted dimension's energy won't work this time?"

"No, Leo would've thought about that…. even with a power boost…. I'm sorry but we might need to delay this again."

"Yuzu… your duel spirits took you from Ritual back to Standard." Masumi looked at Yuzu and Ray. "Can't they do it again?"

"No… that was down to Ciel…." Yuzu said. "The duel spirits can do many things but their power is weakened without Ciel…. yet alone travel to another universe."

"I wonder what's happening to them now…." Ray thought about Maria.

"This is so frustrating!" Yuzu slammed her hand down onto the desk again. "I need to talk to Rin again."

"I doubt the answer is any different to what it was an hour ago." Reiji tried to stop Yuzu leaving.

"I need to do something!" Yuzu slammed the door shut.

"Well she's back to normal….!" Gongenzaka awkwardly smiled.

Walking down the Leo Corp hallway Yuzu saw in the large hall the Ritual and Fusion refugees all living in tents. She placed her hand onto the window overlooking the hall.

"They will come for Yuto…." Yuzu said.

"And Standard now has many more duelists; this place will be safe even if they break through the dome." Warrior replied.

"I know but… we got all these guys to safety and now… they might still all end up becoming cards. I don't know how we can keep Yuto safe."

"It's not just Yuto is it?"

"You know it's not. Yuya…. Odd-Eyes disappeared and now we can't find him or Starving's duel disk signal…."

"Which means they're in Fusion."

"We can't get a signal from Fusion so it's the only answer…. Yuya is trapped by both Odd-Eyes and the Fusion Dimension."

Synchro Dimension

Hospital

The duel field faded as Ryo was returned to the rooftop thanks to the shadow.

"What just happened?!" Ushio said.

"Ryo just saw a ghost….. I just hope it worked." Ruka replied. Along the sidelines Marina turned around and walked off but Gloria noticed this.

"Now where are you going?"

"I'm returning to Fusion."

"You'll have to choose, Marina. Yuri and Serena or Academia." Gloria replied. Marina ignored her and went down the steps.

Ryo looked down from his knees at Ruka.

"Why…. why would you do that?"

"You're a complicated person, Ryo…. I just wanted to remind you of the feelings you suppressed." Ruka replied.

"I… can't have been brainwashed by Leo… he didn't use any parasites or mind control on me!"

"No but he used another method, convincing. Leo saw that rage from the Fusion War and used it against you. He got you to believe a lie… so much so that lie became the new truth."

"I convinced myself…..?"

"That's how Leo has worked… he took a destroyed world and told everyone exactly what they wanted to hear. Same was the case with the council and the Tops… if everyone working with Leo could open their eyes… he would have much less power." Ruka explained.

"I really removed my feelings for my brother…. of my own free will? I'm even worse than I thought." Ryo looked at his hands which had been tainted with darkness of his actions.

"No, that's not true!"

"I gave up my own brother! I killed him!"

"There's still a chance!"

"I did those sins…. I didn't have a guiding light…. but I still did that of my own free will. I…. don't deserve this chance." Ryo got up.

"What do you mean?"

"Take my duel disk…. turn me into a card…."

….

Down on the next floor Marina had her duel disk out and was able to teleport away. But she saw Tsukikage coming to her; he was wearing his black ninja outfit once more.

"What do you want?" Marina said to them.

"I see….."

"What? That Ryo is having a crisis?"

"No, that you have a wavering heart."

"What do you know about that?"

"Well you stuck around. You helped Grace and Gloria. I don't need to be an expert to see what is happening." Tsukikage replied.

"I don't need to hear it from anyone!"

"I came to send a message from Grace to you. But it answers her question. She had a feeling you wouldn't return to see her…. she wanted to know if you would. I'll say you're returning for answers."

"Answers…? I guess you are wise….." Marina hit her duel disk and disappeared as a purple portal opened up.

….

"Why would I card you?!" Ruka said in shock.

"Will you do it or not?! Will any of you?!" Ryo yelled as he looked to the remaining Ushio and Gloria.

"No…." Gloria firmly replied. "We all made errors… and we have to fight on to make up for it."

"You've also changed…."

"Grace's heart changed before mine…. if this is the path she sees fit…. she's a better judge than me… so I will follow her path."

"I have no one to guide me…" Ryo took the duel disk back from Ruka.

"I can help you?" Ruka added.

"No. I don't deserve forgiveness or anything like that. Leo used me but I was still able to stop at any time. I don't deserve to be here."

"Because he gave you wrong ideas!" Ruka yelled. "Can't you see that?! Grace feels the same! She turned people into cards but she's not giving up!"

"They did basic level stuff… I kidnapped Shark from Xyz; I forced people to fight in Xyz… I'll fight on…. until I die."

"Stop talking nonsense!" Gloria shouted.

"This is the way I will fight…. I will be the one to finish off Leo Akaba…. if I don't fall first. If no one will card me… I'll at least die fighting." Ryo brushed aside Ushio as he walked off the rooftop. "Call me when you have a plan."

"Wait, Ryo! Your treatment?!"

"I don't deserve it." Ryo replied.

Ruka rubbed her face at the difficult Ryo in annoyance..

"I think I've done all I can….." Ruka sighed.

"You have, Ruka." Ushio replied. "You did great just to get through to him…. but I think… Ryo needs to bare this on his own."

"I just hope he finds the right path…."

"So now what?" Gloria said.

"Well now we have Ryo… wait where's Marina?"

"She went to get answers." Tsukikage's voice said as he walked up the steps.

"Answers?" Ruka responded.

"I think her heart is also wavering."

"Great…. regardless, we can now move forward with our plan. I'll contact Rin to proceed."

Arcadia

Arcadia was now overseen by Aki and assisted by Mercy. The school had been working to repair all the damage done by Euridice and Divine.

Inside with Mercy and Aki was Rin. The three were in the basement with the machine that Divine was planning to use to absorb the life-force of all non-physics.

"Yuzu rang me again a little while ago…." Rin walked up to the sliver-circular looking machine.

"Well hopefully we can all tell them the good news…. we've finished converting this to a teleporter." Mercy replied.

"Thanks to Kaiba and Reiji... but now I need to give the order to the rest of Arcadia to use their powers to open it up." Aki said.

"Physic power should be enough to open the portal and bypass Fusion's blockades… but I understand your worry, Aki." Rin added.

"This could kill them….. but we need to try."

Rin received a message from her duel disk and she hit it to answer.

"Ruka, did it work?"

"Well, kind of… Ryo will fight alongside us..."

"But?"

"He wants to die in battle to repent his errors…."

"Well we can worry about that later." Aki interrupted. "Now we have someone who knows the Fusion Dimension on our side and willing to return, we can continue."

"Correct and now, Rin, you need to head to Standard. We'll do the rest from here." Ruka replied.

Standard – 30 Minutes Later

A green portal opened in Reiji's office, out stepped Rin with her duel disk attached.

"Welcome back, Rin." Ray said. Before Rin could answer Yuzu was straight up to her and hugging.

"Yuzu….?" Rin stuttered.

"I missed you…. in person…."

"Yeah….. same." Rin embraced back.

"So then…." Yuzu broke up the hug.

"Yes. Arcadia has the machine all ready."

"And it's tested?" Kaiba replied.

"As much as we can, yeah… however as you thought… it can only keep the portal open for a few seconds."

"So we can only send a few at a time." Reiji was now in deep thought.

"We think… only four or so and it would take a day to recharge fully." Rin answered. "And… I'm coming with you first!"

"Rin…. I think… it would be better you protect Yuto here." Yuzu spoke back.

"I can't! You've kept me sidelined for too long! Yugo is there!"

"And so is Yuya!" Yuzu raged back. The two girls were arguably most similar in personalities, both knew what they wanted and would never back down.

"Guys…. please…." Ray interrupted.

Yuzu and Rin looked at each other and burst out into laughter. They couldn't fight for long, they were great friends now.

"If I may…. before you came over, Ruka said you had Ryo on our side… are you mad?!" Kaiba yelled.

"Kaiba! If Rin and Ruka trust him then so should we!" Yuzu answered.

"He wants to die while dueling….. he has nothing to lose…." Rin softly added.

"And you believe him? Really?"

"He wants to go after Leo, our interests align." Reiji said.

"So if we're going to Fusion, it should be Yuzu, Ryo… me and Masumi." Gongenzaka suggested.

"Yes. We met Yusho before anyone else!" Masumi answered with her fist clenched.

"But…."

"Yuzu, we might not have angel powers or whatever… but you can't discount us!"

"No! I would never mean that!" Yuzu answered. "But…"

"You can't protect all of us, Yuzu." Rin replied.

Yuzu looked around the room and saw all the allies she had gained. She also thought about the Resistance helping the refugees in the large hall.

"I know and it makes sense." Yuzu affirmed.

"So it's settled." Kaiba responded.

"So now we need to bring Ryo over. I'll discuss the plan after." Reiji added.

A little while later Ryo had crossed over to Standard from Synchro and was now in a room with Yuzu, Masumi, Gongenzaka, Kaiba and Reiji. Yuzu had gone home to You Show to change clothes. Yuzu was now wearing her original outfit.

"This outfit started this war and it'll end it…." Yuzu thought to herself.

"Once you arrive… we can't promise what will happen." Reiji said.

"We just need to find Yusho and Austin…. we can track them down." Yuzu replied.

"We know the general layout but Ryo coming will be a big help." Gongenzaka added.

"You'll have twenty-four hours before we can send more over. You should try and make a base of some kind first." Kaiba instructed.

"We'll find out what Fusion is like and try to find some way to contact you guys." Masumi said.

"It'll be near impossible." Ryo said. "Fusion is the most guarded dimension."

"Would you know where to find Yusho and Austin?" Gongenzaka asked.

"They won't be in the school they hid out in but I know a few other good hiding places."

"That's if they made it out of the school… it was invaded before we had to leave Yusho and Austin." Masumi said.

"They'll be there, I know it." Reiji replied.

"We'll stand by and guard Standard." Kaiba said. "Yuto will be safe."

"I know. That's why I wanted Rin and the others to stay here." Yuzu affirmed.

"We also need to make sure we have the numbers in Fusion as well…. once we have enough over there we can make a plan to finally end this war." Reiji responded.

"We should start." Kaiba took his duel disk and hit it. "This is Seto Kaiba, Arcadia, can you hear me?"

Synchro – Arcadia

"Yes, we can hear you, Kaiba." Ruka replied.

Ruka along with Tsukikage was watching the Arcadia students around the machine with Aki and Mercy.

"Our powers should be able to open the gate." Aki said to the students. "We need everyone to focus."

"The machine will convert it into dimensional energy." Mercy added. "We are the only ones who can help to end this war!"

Light energy begun to flow from the psychic duelists into the machine as it powered up.

"Ruka, now!" Mercy yelled.

"Yes! Kaiba, it's working! Send them!" Ruka said.

Standard

"Understood!" Kaiba replied as in the office a purple portal begun to form.

"Guys…. good luck." Reiji nodded to them all.

"Next time we're here…. we'll have ended this war." Yuzu replied. She looked to Gongenzaka and Masumi and passed through.

"Look after them…. Ryo…" Kaiba gave a firm look to Ryo who gave only a small glimpse back, still looking ashamed. He followed last as the portal closed off.

"Good luck guys. Now we wait for Academia." Reiji said to Kaiba.

The four stepped out into an alleyway surrounded by tall homes which had a weird purple glow around them.

"So this is Fusion." Yuzu looked around.

"Yes…. the world Leo took advantage of…" Ryo clenched his fist.

"Those buildings… that's Real Solid Vision?"

"Yes, he rebuilt everything using it…."

"And in the sky…. that's the security crystals you told me about."

"Yes." replied Masumi.

"Academia will know by now we've crossed over… let's go." Gongenzaka added.

"Where to, Ryo?" Yuzu asked.

"The forest."

Academia

"So they finally made it through." Leo said in his throne room.

"And I guess they're looking for Yusho." Cobra, his assistant, replied.

"Yes…. and Ryo isn't dead…. I had a feeling he wasn't…."

"You're taking this fairly well, sir. We have a traitor."

"Yes, but we know who." Leo answered.

"Very true, I'll organize the Juvenile Officers to hunt them down. Obelisk Force is hunting down Odd-Eyes and Starving Venom while our top students are guarding Clear Wing."

"While I need to help the Doctor extract information from Dr Faker." Leo stood up. "

Marina seems to have returned." Cobra received a signal on his green duel disk.

"And our traitor has returned…. send Serena…. that'll get her to spill everything."
