Chapter 4 Dynasty Warriors Cao Cao and Liu Bei

Yue Jin and Cao Xiu were nearly complete scouting the area when they found a military force waving a flag invoking the last name of the current emperor. The two of them clearly saw three men: one of them a muscular man with a bit of weight, the second, a very tall man with a noticeable beard, and the third of them had some noticeably large ears. Other than that, besides clearly being leaders of all the soldiers, neither Yue Jin or Cao Xiu were close enough to be able to sense the fighting capability of leadership of this relatively smaller military unit than their own Lord's army. It was clear that one out of two possibilities were going on:

1 - These men were the legendary Peach Brothers who fight in the name of virtue and benevolence whose leader is said to be a family member descendant of the royal family of China (it is a very distant connection, so no one can determine if it's real or not.) All three of them thought the yellow turbans besides the two Xiahou Musa Warrior cousins and their lord Cao Cao. The two of them did not know of anyone in the armed forces who has actually seen his legendary Brothers in person,

2 - The 3 men at the front happened to be imposters trying to take advantage of their reputation.

The two of them heard some noise from the man behind them and one of them came up to ask, "Is that the military forces of benevolent Liu Bei and his sworn Brothers?" At that Yue Jin responded, "They either are or they are impersonators. I cannot personally tell at this distance for I have never met them during the yellow turban Rebellion, as I was too young for that, but our beloved lord or officers from the Xiahou clan should be able to tell at once from the combined military action against Zhang Jiao of the yellow turbans."

At that time some of the other military force men took off on horseback. Most of the Vanguard unit guards got tense seeing that, but Cao Xiu and Yue Jin knew they would not take such a small force in order to take out a scouting unit. Their horses were really heavy cavalry, really not meant for chasing other cavalry. They thought it was easy until the moment they suddenly tensed up as they sensed a Musa Warrior was among them. At the head of that unit, it was not one of the three man Yue Jin believed were the Peach Brothers or impersonators, but one laid-back and casual looking man who did not wear armor, but gave off the vibe of a strategist.

At that moment, the casual man look interested at the two Muoso warriors. A few feet away from them, he signaled to his men to slow down as he got off his horse. The man introduced himself, saying "Hello, I am Jian Yong, strategist to my beloved childhood friend, who even as a child, his family claimed to be the family of the emperor Liu Bei. May you take us to your lord so we confirm that we are joining the alliance of everybody claiming to kill Dong Zhuo in order to save the young child emperor. It is likely that they probably just have their own objectives."
One of his men piped in, "You cannot be saying Liu Bei is just pretending to be related to our emperor."

Jian Yong responds, "I'm not saying he's faking it I'm saying his family has been claiming it since he was a child and probably longer. It's not like anyone can confirm the backstory at this point, but nobody can confirm its false. Either way we are here to fight Dong Zhuo, not argue at least for the moment."

Yue Jin mighty Warrior of Warlord Cao Cao was surprised. They had been told about Liu Bei by Cao Cao, described as a highly idealistic man who always claims to be a member even though distant members of the emperor's family. The man before the two clearly was not in his forces in the yellow turbans, but such a power such as his would not escape the notice of the intelligence and talent loving Cao Cao. It was not for nothing that he gained so many great officers in such a short time after failing to assassinate Dong Zhuo. Just then, Xiahou showed up quickly. He asked the soldiers what happened and then looking towards Xiahou Dun, who clearly nodded signifying that yes those were the Peach Brothers. Xiahou Yuan looks like cousin Dun confirmed it is really Liu Bei and his men.

"Why yes," says Cao Xiu, his fairly new strategist over there has already explained that to us just before you arrived. Yue Jin replied, "They could have been imposters just using the reputation Liu Bei and his sworn brothers for their own means."
Cao Xiu was greatly confused. Lying about being a man of benevolence to take advantage of people? That would be so disingenuous. Both Xiahou Yuan and Yue Jin knew about how hard it was for the nephew of there Lord Cao Xiu, as he had a hard time understanding deception and falsehood outside of the battlefield.

Cao Cao instructed his other officers to watch out for that to avoid him getting in trouble, not that he was a weakling on the battlefield itself, he was the first of the younger generation of his extended family to became a Musa Warrior. Liu Bei strategist started laughing, "Does that officer not even know what a lie is? But it's not like my Lord and his ears or his famous Sworn Brother Guan Yu are easy to impersonate. I mean has anyone managed to seen a beard half as long as Guan Yu."
Then Xiahou Yuan started laughing at that. "You're quite correct. I've never seen anyone else with half of a beard as long as him."

Just at that time, Xiahou Dun and Zhang Fei came up to them. Zhang Fei said, "My sworn brother Liu Bei would like to have our forces travel together on our way to deal with the treacherous Dong Zhou. The Xiahou Dun immediately said, "We must inform Cao Cao at once!"

All of the forces of Cao Cao got on their horses, in order to tell their lord about Liu Bei, on their way to fight Dong Zhou.
