"Where have you been?" Serena demanded to know.
"What do you mean? Serena, are you okay? Where's Yuri?""
"You went to Xyz with Leo and disappeared! You never reported in! Don't even try to lie!"
"Because I went to Synchro again!"
"Ryo was spotted on our cameras, Leo left him behind!"
"I don't know anything about that!" Marina hit back.
"Really? Why didn't Dennis return from Xyz? Why didn't you report back? This isn't looking good for you, Marina!"
"I…."
"You were already disciplined for conspiring with Gloria back in Ritual…. if you've done anything….. there's no other way out this time!" Serena yelled as she tried to hold back the tears. Marina looked surprised by her reaction.
"I've had to do so much for you and Yuri! Stuff to make sure you was safe!"
"Our mission is above anything! Don't you dare say otherwise!"
"Without me, Academia wouldn't have progressed this far! I lost my eye…. my love of my life…. I did things which I didn't want to….. punishments…. I didn't do all that for you to talk to me like that!"
"It means nothing if you forget the mission! You always put that into us, me and Yuri!"
"Serena….. you don't understand responsibility!"
"I'm one of the keys to the new world! Of course I do!"
"I don't mean it like that!" Marina snapped back. "Having to look after others…. I have a heart and yes it does care…. and sometimes that gets in the way of the mission!"
"Then that makes you a traitor! I'll make sure I get the truth from out of you!" Serena yelled, activating her duel disk.
"And I'll make sure you learn some respect!" Marina activated hers.

Serena watched as both her cards were returned with Cat Dancer going back to the extra deck. All she could do was grit her teeth.
"Direct attack, Shiva!" Shiva rushed forward and slashed Serena across the chest, knocking her back.

"As if! I Special Summon Lunalight Diamond Prowler!" Appearing on Serena's field was a sliver fox with a Lunalight mask. It had a white dress on with gems for a tail in defence.

All three Monsters fired into the whirlpool as Serena clenched her fists.
"Elegant beast dancing on the moonlit wilderness! Swarm in a vortex of the moon's gravity and revive with a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! The queen of beasts dancing atop the summit of the moonlight wilderness! Lunalight Leo Dancer!"
A tall purple feline humanoid appeared. She had long hair with a pink robe around her legs. She held a sword with the Lunalight mask now around her hair.

I banish two Dark Monsters… I use Panther Dance and Emerald Bird!"Princess of the night, destroy our enemies with your instincts of beasts! Appear Dianah Queen of the Fusion Lunalight Beast!" A female beast who wore white amour emerged. She held a double-speared weapon.

"Your feelings, Marina… they get in the way! But fine…. Elisa and Starving Venom…. they took us over again…. and according to Leo, they tried to kill him… but failed."
"What? When did this happen?"
"While you were in Xyz."
"And I wasn't informed?!"
"Because you didn't need to know…. Yuri… is also currently missing."
"Don't joke, Serena!"
"I'm not! I wouldn't joke about it! Leo put a collar on Starving Venom but he outsmarted it…. he escaped from Xyz and Odd-Eyes is also on the run."
"He put a collar on Yuri?! Serena, why didn't you do anything?! How could you allow that?!"
"I was locked in my room…." Serena rolled her sleeve up and showed no bracelet. "Leo removed it… I've been stuck in Academia since…. my job is done. I'm worried about Yuri of course…. but Academia has their reasons!"
"This is how I've been sounding….. I let you get this indoctrinated!"
"This is Academia's code! Our identity!" Serena yelled back with her fist clenched.
"Not like this, Serena! Yuri…. our Yuri…. he's missing!"
"And Leo is working hard to find him!"
"This is all down to me….. I let this happen…"
"So your feelings have truly taken over…. then I'll finish this job! Leo Dancer wipes out Shiva!"
Leo Dancer launched forward and slashed her blade down onto Shiva who countered with a swing of his own sword. The two swords connected but Leo was stronger and able to destroy the blade along with Shiva.

"As you know, Marina… when Leo destroys a Monster… all Special Summoned Monsters on your field fall!" Serena pointed to Joe who was also wiped out.
"And you can attack again with Leo Dancer…."
"Plus it can't be targeted or destroyed by card effects…. in case you forgot! Go, Leo!"
Marina saw Leo's blade swing across her chest sending her flying across her own Field Spell.

"Dianah ends this!" Dianah launched her spear at Marina who was still on the ground but she was ready.
"I use the Trap Attribute Shield! If I have an Attribute Knight in my graveyard with the same as the Monster directly attacking me I can summon it and end the Battle Phase! Return Kastirion!"

"Atrocious' effect! I hit you with 300 damage for each of its overlay units!" The demon unleashed a mighty fireball which hit the ground where Serena is standing. The blast made her jump back to avoid it.

"It won't matter! Hades attacks Leo Dancer!" The dark armoured knight launched his sword at Leo Dancer and easily wiped it out.
"I banish Luna Reflection! When I would take damage I make it zero!"
"But you have nothing left! Atrocious attacksDianah!"
"I use Diamond Prowler's effect in the graveyard! I tribute a Fusion Monster on my field to summon her in defence! However she's banished when she leaves the field."
"What?!" Marina yelled as Dianah disappeared and Prowler returned to take the hit instead.

Prowler was wiped out by Atocious as Serena's field was now empty.
"You escaped again…. but I can't allow this to carry on, Serena!" Marina said with her hand on her chest.
"You think this is easy for me as well?! But like it or not this is who I am now… I won't become a traitor!"
"Academia isn't what we thought it was!"
"No you just weren't tough enough!"
"That's false! I set one card and end my turn!"

"I draw!" Serena yelled. "I use the Spell Luna Light Perfume to return Leo Dancer!"

"You got exactly what you need….." Marina gritted her teeth. "But it still loses halve of its attack thanks to Hades!"

"You're still hoping for justice?! Well I'm fighting on the right side, Marina…. I'm the one serving justice! Leo Dancer attacks Seraphim!"
Leo Dancer leapt forward and spun in the air and smashed onto the Monster, slicing it in halve.
"Now all your Monsters are wiped out and Leo Dancer can attack again!" Each of Marina's Monsters was destroyed before her. She saw Leo launch forward again, Marina knew what she had to do.
"I use my Trap! Attribute Clash! When a Monster is destroyed on my field while you have a Monster on your field with the same attribute, when it attacks and inflicts damage, we both take that damage!"
"Snake!" Serena yelled as Leo Dancer slashed across Marina's waist sending her flying while Serena was electrocuted.

Draw
The Field Spell faded and Marina saw Serena panicking as she was hit with the electricity. Serena who had been zapped as a child to remove any sense of feeling in her was again traumatized by the zap.
"I'm sorry, Serena…. I'm sorry! I'll make sure I come back…. just hold on for now!" Marina turned and begun to run down the hallway as Serena could only look up with a piercing stare.
Jungle
Yuzu, Masumi and Gongenzaka had reached further into the jungle and Austin had brought them to a small hut.
"What is this place?" Yuzu said.
"It's a place me and my father used to come camping." Austin said. "Academia won't find us here."
"Well, that's a voice I haven't heard for a long time."
Coming out of the hut was the man Yuzu had come to see, Yusho in his red suit and top hat, smiling at the three who had arrived.
"Mr. Sakaki…." Yuzu stuttered.
"I knew you guys would find you way here."
"Mr. Sakaki… I…. I don't even know how to explain what's happened…."
"I know about everything, Yuzu. Austin was Academia before." Yusho said. "And I know about Yuya…"
"That he was Odd-Eyes in another life…. but it's not just that…."
"I also know Odd-Eyes is missing…. Austin rigged up a radio; we can hear Academia's radio messages." Yusho said deflated.
"Is that safe?" Masumi asked.
"Yeah no worries about it but…. Academia is now very close…. and I mean very close. They gained knowledge from and now the Arc Area Project is awaiting the Pendulum, Fusion and Xyz dragons before beginning." Austin replied.
"Yuto…." Yuzu sighed.
"Standard knows Academia will come, Yuzu." Gongenzaka said. "They'll be ready."
"Yes I know…. right, we need to work out what we do next." Yuzu said as she snapped back to normal.
"Yes." Yusho said. "The final battle is approaching."
"We have allies from all the dimensions…. ready to go." Yuzu replied.
"And I hope you include me in all that." Yusho said. "Leo has been waiting a long time for me."
"Not this again…" Austin sighed.
"I must face him, Austin." Yusho affirmed. "I took his credit for Real Solid Vision."
"And it's now much bigger than that. Leo has gained a god-complex…"
"But I started all of this… I have to at least try."
