After Mina opened up a portal to Standard, Reiji had walked through with other figures coming through.

The look on Yuzu's face was relief and joy as the next figure was Rin followed by Mercy from Arcadia.

"Team Synchro is here!" said a smirking Rin. Behind them was Ray.

"Ray!" Masumi yelled.

"Not just them." Ray said as the final figures were Grace and Gloria Tyler with Reira.

"Unbelievable…" Gongenzaka stuttered seeing many of their allies now here in Fusion.

The portal behind them disappeared as the whole group watched it vanish.

"Well that's it…. we're stuck here now!" Grace sighed.

"Guys…. Reiji….. Thank you…" Yuzu replied. "But where's Ruri and the others?"

"Kaiba, Aki and the rest are now guarding Standard. Mina told us they're sending an entire army to Standard." Rin answered.

"So makes sense for Ruri to wish to stay." Masumi added.

"And…. what about Yugo?"

"We haven't seen him, Rin." Yuzu responded.

"Well we will find him, no doubt. We have to." Reiji said. Reiji looked up and saw Yusho.

"You didn't disappoint, Reiji." Yusho smiled.

"Well we have enough here to hopefully halt Academia on this side…."

"You've all done amazing…. all of you." Yusho looked to each and every single one of the Lancers.

"But the fact remains the same…. we're stuck in this sewer." Yuzu said.

"I said I had an answer…" Reiji removed his backpack and took out a small cube.

A bright white light was released across the sewer system.

Marina

Marina was on the run from Obelisk Force and heading towards the forest which had smoke rising into the sky. She was slowly coming down a mountain before she stopped on a ledge.

She looked up and saw that no one was actually coming after her which confused the former Academia warrior.

"They should be after me unless Leo has sent them to do something else?" she thought as she reached the ground.

The forest wasn't far off from the mountain edge so she got there within a few minutes. As she got closer she saw the trampled trees and smoke still rising.

"What happened here?"

Marina looked and saw someone struggling to breath and yelling in pain. Marina knew it was Austin right away.

"Austin!" Marina yelled as she ran up to him.

Austin was looked up and saw Marina come towards.

"What happened, Austin?!" Marina bent down as she saw purple energy flow across Austin's chest.

"Leo….." he gasped.

"He tried to kill you as well?! But this energy stuff…. I don't know how to stop it?!" she ran her eyes up and down his body trying to work out what to do.

"Turn…. me into a card!" Austin struggled to say as the energy continued to kill him.

"That would put you in suspension….it won't cure you!"

"It's my only chance….. Do it, Marina!"

"But I….."

"I know you deep down….Marina…. we might be on opposite sides….. but deep down… you care for others…!" Austin yelled as the pain increased.

Marina nodded as she closed her eyes and activated her duel disk, the bright purple light lit up. She opened them and saw Austin's card on the ground. She bent down and picked it up.

"Leo has tried to kill Ryo… and now Austin….. and now I'm on the run for saving Gloria from death….. this…. I've contributed to all of this….."

Lancers

The group looked around as the bright white light faded. They found themselves in Reiji's office.

"Wait… did we go back to Standard?" Yuzu said as she looked around.

"Actually we didn't." Rin replied.

"Your friend Ruka, the one who can communicate with spirits, she gave me this idea." Reiji added.

"Yeah it's just like before… when we went into Warrior's card…. like another dimension."

"Exactly. This is a small mini space created with Real Solid Vision. We're invisible to Leo."

"But your father, Reiji…. he can control Real Solid Vision now!" Masumi replied.

"But we're hidden. He can't find what he's not looking for."

"Remarkable." Yusho noted. "But now we have to act."

"Yes. We know what Academia has to do and what we need to stop them from obtaining them." Reiji replied.

"Do we actually have a plan….?" Gongenzaka responded.

"Yeah… well… kind of a plan…." Grace nervously laughed.

"We're going to split up again, aren't we…?" Yuzu sighed.

"We have to. We need to attack from all angles…. Odd-Eyes, Starving Venom and Academia."

"But how on earth can we stop them?" Mercy asked.

"We need to wake up the Fusion Dimension. As long as a leader has a mass following, it's impossible to overturn it." Yusho stated.

"Good luck with that." Gloria folded her arms. "Leo is a god here…."

"Yeah, we all believed in him after he saved our world after the war here…. he has people following him out of loyalty." Grace added.

"You weren't to know any better." Yusho answered.

"We have to show exactly what Academia is doing." Ray said.

"That won't be enough. These people believe it's the right thing. Three years of pure propaganda…. and Leo also delivers on some of it." Gloria responded. "He's rebuilt everything with Real Solid Vision. People follow him."

"And the students will have those bugs in their heads…. if they betray, they can just brainwash them." Masumi stated.

"Leo has covered everything…." Ray replied.

"No. I will talk to him…. I have to try." Yusho said.

"My father now has a god complex." Reiji answered. "But… I can't prevent you… can I, Yusho…?"

"No you can't. I created this mess and I need to clean it up."

"We infiltrate the castle. We get Yusho to Leo while we finally end this dimensional blockage and then we bring over everyone… We will have our own army." Reiji stated.

"And the dragons?" Rin asked.

"We need to keep them away from each other…. it's all we can do while we stop Leo." Reiji said.

"Some of us might not make it out…." Gongenzaka looked at the ground as he said so.

"We all got thrown into this war…. we know what we signed up to do as Lancers." Yuzu replied. "We were given this chance by Ciel and the others…. we can't allow Leo to destroy the five dimensions…. the worlds they made…. it's down to us."

"Yeah, if we don't try anything…. we're all dead anyway." Ray added.

"But…. what about Reira?" Yuzu asked.

"I'm…. ready to fight." she said as she stepped forward. "With my brother." Reiji looked at her and smiled.

"Also we made these." Reiji held up many blank cards. "This will make you show up differently on camera. Using Real Solid Vision… our duel disks will project a different appearance over us."

"So we're truly going to blend in…. Reiji, this might be your best work yet!" Yuzu affirmed.

"Unlike the simple tweaks I made to avoid our duel disks being detected, the duel disks can only keep the illusion for so long. We don't have second chances."

"So…. who goes where?" Rin said.

Academia

Mina and Ryo had been captured in green nets which Obelisk Force had fired. They also freed Mina's father the Doctor.

"Tell me where they are!" he yelled.

"I won't tell you anything!"

"Shall we move them to the jail cells, sir?" one of the Obelisk Force said.

"Move Ryo…. I'll finish Mina off right here and now… and make sure you keep an eye on him!"

"Sir!"

The Obelisk Force dragged the net away as Ryo tried to escape but he was unable to. Mina and Ryo gave a glimpse to each other as Ryo was moved.

The Doctor walked over to Mina and pulled the energy net which made it dissolve. Mina stood up as her father walked towards the computer console where he hit a button.

"You're really going to duel me?"

The Doctor ignored her question and a side door opened up. It was the Doctor's laboratory for creating his parasites.

"You never appreciated my work, Mina…. so it makes sense to at least try to make you understand!"

Island

On the mainland life continued as normal for the people of the Fusion Dimension. Juvenile Officers patrolled the island maintaining the order Leo brought to this world.

High in the sky the cameras were monitored all day and all night, there was little room for anyone to avoid the eyes in the sky.

The city had rivers flowing through different streams along with many built up houses all repaired with Real Solid Vision. When you got to the main market there were stalls for people to buy along with entertainment in the form of bands or a demonstration duel from Academia.

To the outside three figures walked down the market as three adult women except these were in fact Yuzu, Rin and Ray. The three were all on one team, a team to infiltrate Academia.

"This whole world seems far too peaceful…." Yuzu muttered to the others.

"Well Leo keeps them safe… and after a war, it makes sense." Rin replied.

"And these people are fed propaganda…. and accept it…." Ray replied as on a wall of a tall building was a poster of Leo Akaba saluting. It said "Making a utopia for you all."

"Parents and their kids are happily sent to Academia to train to become warriors. They know about the other dimensions and that Academia wish to destroy the other four…. I can't believe everyone thinks like that though." Yuzu affirmed.

"Yeah, the fear is enough to motivate. I saw what the Commons had to do while the council and Security ruled Synchro… I understand it." Rin added.

"Also I bet they don't know their kids are given a parasite in the head upon enrolment…. I wonder how many would be happy knowing that." Ray responded.

The three had walked to the end of the island and were now in the docks. There were speedboats with Academia logos on them. There were also a couple of cruise ships.

"If only we could ride our Monsters…." Rin sighed.

"Come on, let's take a look around." Yuzu said. As they begun to walk along the docks they heard a woman scream as several Juvenile Officers grabbed a young boy and the woman.

"Let him go!" yelled the woman.

"Then you better explain yourself!" said an officer.

"What is this?!" a second officer held up a card. "Your son dropped this… you know main islanders aren't allowed cards!"

"He doesn't have a duel disk… he just likes the art… please!"

"Mommy!" screamed the kid.

"Where did you get this?"

"We found it... on the street…." she stuttered.

"We purged all non-recognised cards from the island for a reason! Keeping any sign of the past world is a serious crime!"

"Please… just give me a warning…..please!" the mother begged.

"Arrest her and send her to the court." said one officer. "If you're lucky…. you might get re-education…. or a carding!"

"And my son?!"

"It's not his fault he's been raised badly. Some re-education will sort him out."

"No!" yelled the kid. He launched his teeth into the officer's arm which made him yell and let go. The kid ran to his mother.

"Brat!" he shouted as he clenched his arm.

"No!" yelled the mother as another officer held up his duel disk and hit the button. The boy almost reached his mother before the purple light lit up and a thin card dropped down in his place. "NO!"

"Some people are too defective to be a part of our new utopia… no levels of re-education could sort that out."

"You scum!" the woman screamed.

"Let's save the court some time." the officer who held her said. Another nodded and pulled out his duel disk. The same action occurred once again as the woman dropped next to her son in card form.

A crowd had gathered around and many of them begun to clap the officers who picked up the cards.

"I…. feel sick…" Yuzu put her hand over her mouth.

"This is how they treat their own people… how could anyone side with them." Rin replied.

"Leo has to pay." Ray muttered back.

"Wait….." Rin said. "The re-education they spoke about…."

"You're not thinking…."

"I am, Ray." Rin turned to her.

"It could give us some more help." Yuzu affirmed. "I'll send a message to Reiji while you two look for a way to the island…. legally…. we don't need more attention."

Reiji

"They need us to do what?!" Reiji said in response to the message.

Like the rest of the Lancers, Reiji was appearing as a different looking male. Reiji was along with Reira and Yusho who also had the same cloaking. They were at another dockyard further up the island.

"It's a good idea." Yusho said.

"But I thought we had to get to Academia?" Reira replied.

"That was the plan… yes….get through the back door..."

"All that time in the underground school I wanted to free the people before they underwent re-education but Austin could get off while undercover in Academia."

"Where is it?" Reira asked.

"Here on the main island." Yusho explained.

"What do they actually do in there?" Reiji said.

"Leo wants to be a god, loved by the people…. if he can't do that then as you've seen, he forces people to comply. The same method he used on Gloria and Ray is used there. It's a much easier method to use for a small group of people than bugs."

"Fine…. I guess we owe it to them." Reiji said.

"And if I'm right in thinking, there could be a teleport to Academia in there." Yusho added.

"Then that's our decision sorted."

Yuzu

Rin and Ray had found an empty speedboat which was docked. Yuzu had rejoined them.

"It's our only chance." Rin said.

"I said "legally", Rin!" Yuzu replied.

"Well we have no other choice." Ray responded.

"It's not even got a key….. Plus what do three fourteen year olds know about driving a boat?!" Yuzu continued to mutter.

"We don't need a key!" Rin looked at the boat.

"That's right….." Warrior appeared next to Yuzu.

"Oh no….." Yuzu sighed.

"Don't worry, it won't be me."

The three got on the boat while making sure no one was around to see. Rin took a card from her deck and held it up.

"Okay, Callistis! Help me out!"Rin declared as she summoned her main duel spirit into physical form.Callistis was a half-black on the left and half-white on the right. Each side had six wings and she wore a helmet.

"How many I help?" she said.

"Callistis, just how you flew at great speeds with Linette and Clear Wing, I need you to power this boat!"

"I get it now but does it work with machines….?" Yuzu asked.

Callistis turned into energy and entered the boat's engine.

"We're about to find out!" Rin said as she took her hands on the steering wheel. A second later the boat roared and was ready to go.

"It actually works…" Warrior stuttered in her spirit form.

"I should've known you didn't know…" Yuzu sighed.

"I knew it would!"

"Okay, let's get out of here." Ray said. "Summoning a Real Solid Vision duel spirit… I doubt your fake look can last much longer, Rin."

"On it!" Rin put her foot down on the pedal and speedboat begun to move forward.

"I guess if she can drive a D-Wheel… she can do this….?" Yuzu sounded unsure.

"We're coming, Yugo…." Rin thought.

The boat pulled out of the docks and Yuzu looked towards the Academia Island. It was at least a couple of miles away.

"There's no way Academia won't notice us." Ray said.

"We have no choice now; we knew this would be a battle." Yuzu affirmed.

As the mainland got further away there was noise coming from the docks. It was the owner of the speedboat yelling as the Juvenile Officers were next to him. The girls had been caught.

"Knew it…." Yuzu rubbed her hair in frustration.

Overhead they heard a rustling of blades, a helicopter from the mainland had already been deployed. They began to speak through a loud speaker.

"Stop now. This is a direct violation of the law. Turn your boat around now or we will attack."

"What do you say girls…. do we listen?" Ray smirked.

"With my record against police….. I don't think so!" Rin put her foot down ever harder as the boat sped up.

"I missed you two." Yuzu laughed as they outpaced the helicopter.

"Ancient Gear Wyvern, attack!" declared the officers in the helicopter. Numerous rusted dragons appeared and fired yellow beams.

"Mozarta, help me!" Yuzu declared as she summoned her mighty Monster in a red dress with piano wings.

"Yuzu, our cover!" Ray yelled.

"It's blown already. Mozarta, Graceful Wave!" Yuzu declared as her Monster put out his wings and put her wand in the air. Loud sound waves shot out to wipe out the Monsters and make the helicopter spin.

The officers inside were heading towards the sea so had little choice but to jump out before they were plunged in. Each one wore a safety vest which deployed as they jumped.

"I didn't think it would be that powerful…." Yuzu muttered to herself.

"We got more company!" Ray pointed out as an Academia speedboat was launched with more officers.

"You brats!" said an officer. "I summon Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon!" This dragon was a much larger form of Wyvern.

"I'll hand this! I summon Spiritual Samurai!" Ray announced as her duel spirit appeared. A black samurai emerged with golden edges. It had two swords, one on its back and one stored by its side.

"Go, Samurai!"

"Right away, Ray!" said her Monster as he launched from the boat and pulled out its two swords.

"That Monster doesn't have enough attack!" replied the officer.

"We're on the same wavelength…. we're not aiming for the Monster!" Ray replied as Samurai slashed the front of the boat which caught the driver and duelist officer out by surprise. The front of the boat exploded sending the two officers flying into the sea, again with lifejackets on. The Monster faded.

The three girls felt a vibration from their duel disks as the blank card Reiji gave them came out.

"I guess this means…. we're back to normal." Yuzu said.

"Hold on!" Rin yelled as she slammed down the breaks making the Ray and Yuzu fall down.

"Rin?!" Yuzu yelled but she saw what Rin was looking at. It was a force field around the Academia Island.

"That wasn't there before!" Ray said.

"Great! Just great!" Rin hit the steering wheel.

"And that's not the only thing…." Yuzu saw a bigger boat approach. This time on the deck was a bulky man in a dark red jacket, white and green top with a sailor hat on. His duel disk had bright gems on it.

"What do we have in my seas? The Lancers!" he said.

"Rin, drive!" Yuzu said. Rin reversed the boat and sped off to the side.

"You can't escape!" the sailor said as the boat followed. He hit duel disk and Yuzu's duel disk activated.

"Automatic Duel now in Progress." said both duel disks.

"If you get away too far…. you'll be suffering many shocks!"

"Rin…. keep driving, I'll duel this guy." Yuzu said.

"But we don't have time! They'll call in reinforcements!" Rin replied.

"I'll deal with them along with Samurai. I'll summon some other Monsters to try and break it up." Ray added.

"Understood." Rin said.

"Okay then…. fancy dress, let's duel!" Yuzu yelled.

"Fancy dress?! You disrespectful little girl! I'm the admiral of the Fusion Seas! And the price tag on turning you all into cards will enhance my many riches!"

Yuzu stepped to the back of the boat and smirked.

"So you're a pirate….?"

"I'm an admiral! Captain Solo was the pirate…. before Leo turned him into card for allowing so many people escape Academia!"

"Whatever you say…. seadog….!"

Turn 1

"I play the Field Spell, A Legendary Ocean! As we're already dueling on the beautiful seas, there's no need for a field change!"

"And that card is treated as the Field Spell Umi… I know!"

"You know?"

"Teppei back in Standard used that deck… before you lot carded him!"

"Well I'm sure I'll prove to be a much better duelist than he was! I summon Torpedo Fish!" A green fish with red fins emerged.

Torpedo Fish ATK: 1000 DEF: 1000 Water/Fish/LVL 3

"I use the Spell Big Wave Small Wave! I destroy Water Monsters on my field and for each, I summon a Water Monster from my hand! Be gone Torpedo Fish and say hello to Levia-Dragon – Daedalus!"

Appearing from the depths of the sea was a long blue serpent with a green jewel on its head.

Levia-Dragon – Daedalus ATK: 2600 DEF: 1500 Water/Sea Serpent/LVL 7

"My Field reduces its level by one and gives all Water Monsters 200 attack and defence!"

Daedalus ATK: 2800 DEF: 1700

"I set one card… your turn!"

"I draw! I set my Pendulum Scale with scale three Serenade the Melodious Pendulum Diva and scale eight Melodious Prima Simphony!"

Serenade 3 – 8 Simphony

"I Pendulum Summon Harmony the Melodious Diva and Bass the Melodious Songstress!" Bass was a long green haired woman in a purple like outfit with long green gloves came onto the field. She let out a singing pitch while Harmony had a dark brown dress on.

Harmony the Melodious Diva ATK: 1600 DEF: 1200 Light/Fairy/LVL 4

Bass the Melodious Songstress ATK: 2400 DEF: 1800 Light/Fairy/Pendulum/LVL 5/Scale 4

"If Bass is Special Summoned, I halve Bass' attack and defence to reduce your Monster's attack and defence to zero!"

Levia-Dragon – Daedalus ATK: 0 DEF: 0

"I attack with Bass!"

"Then I use my Trap! Levia Awakening! I pay 1000 of my lifepoints to add Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedalus to my hand from my deck!"

"And this also prevents Daedalus from being attacked this turn!"

"Annoying…. I set a card and end there."

Yuzu LP: 4000 Hand: 1

"I draw! And since I haveOcean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedalus in my hand… I can tribute Daedalus to Special Summon it!"

The blue serpent roared as it dove back into the ocean. A blast of wired fired up around the gap between the two boats and a larger roar was hard.

Shooting up from the floor was a much slimmer and taller blue serpent; it had larger red fins as well.

Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedalus ATK: 2900 DEF: 1600 Water/Sea Serpent/LVL 8

Neo-Daedalus ATK: 3100 DEF: 1800 LVL: 7

"I use Neo's effect! I destroy Umi on my field to send all cards in our hands and fields to the graveyard except Neo-Daedalus!"

"What?!" Yuzu replied as her cards vanished along with the ones from her hand. The newly drawn card this turn vanished from the admiral's hand.

"And since my field is treated as Umi…. it was able to be destroyed!"

Neo-Daedalus ATK: 2900 DEF: 1600 ATK: 8

"Direct attack, Daedalus!" Admiral yelled as it fired a bright blue blast from its mouth towards the boat.

"Rin!" yelled Ray who had been trying to break the force field with continuous attacks with Samurai.

"I can't go any faster!"

"Samurai!" Ray yelled and Samurai knew what to do. He launched one of his swords towards the blast and split it into two meaning the blast only hit the side of the boat.

Yuzu LP: 4000 – 1100

"You have nothing now, girl! I end my turn!"

Turn 4

Admiral LP: 3000 Hand: 0

Yuzu LP: 1100 Hand: 0

"That hasn't stopped me before…. I draw!" Yuzu yelled. "The card you destroyed was Scale Switch! I banish it after you destroyed my Pendulum Scales last turn to allow me to replace them back from my extra deck!"

"What?!" Both Serenade and Simphony returned beside Yuzu.

Serenade 3 – 8 Simphony

"Return to the field, Harmony and Bass!"

Harmony the Melodious Diva ATK: 1600 DEF: 1200 Light/Fairy/LVL 4

Bass the Melodious Songstress ATK: 2400 DEF: 1800 Light/Fairy/Pendulum/LVL 5/Scale 4

"I summon Melodious Kuriboh!"A white Kuriboh appeared with wings.

Melodious Kuriboh 0 ATK / 0 DEF / Light / Level 2 / P.S.6 /Tuner/ Fairy / Pendulum

"I tune Bass with Kuriboh!"

"A Synchro Summon?!"

Kuriboh flew up and became green rings as Bass followed.

5+2=7

"I Synchro Summon, Queen Knight: Star Crimson!" The Monster was a female wearing a full body red cloak. She wore a black mask with a giant axe.

Queen Knight: Star Crimson [2500 ATK / 1800 DEF / Light / Level 7 / Warrior / Synchro]

"When Star Crimson attacks… she doubles her attack during the Battle Phase!"

"Doubles?! But this is my sea!"

"Then go swim in it! Star, attack!" Star launched forward and slammed her axe down onto Neo-Daedalus.

Star ATK: 5000

The axe easily sliced the beast in halve causing it to explode. The ripples in the water fired back to the boat which caused it to explode, sending the admiral flying into the distance.

Admiral LP: 1100 – 0 Yuzu Wins

As the duel field faded the girls saw the force field begun to flicker.

"The explosion might've weakened it…. Samurai!" Ray yelled as her Ritual Monster slammed his sword onto it, the force field begun to dissolve.

"Okay, Rin, let's go before Academia send anymore!"

"Right!" Rin turned the boat around and shot forward towards Academia.

Okay so sorry for delay, I had some issues and planning to do for ARC-V, this is final arc so needed to make sure I got it right. Thanks to Rom for his OC Cards here, nothing new this time for Yuzu but always good to use older ones as well!

Also Admiral is from GX and no Yuzu didn't cause him to drown!

Summer Landsdown/Exelion Heart – Okay thanks for the reviews and for the Wyvern idea, that sounds a pretty awesome idea really, I'd say go for it! And I need to catch up on your story, haven't had time for a few weeks!
