"Good, Clear Wing has been deployed."
The Doctor looked at a holoscreen in front of him as he and Mina were now in his parasite creation room.
"Now you're focus is on me… for once!" Mina replied.
"Yes, I'll be ending your life here, Mina…. you were a mistake and my bugs will fix that!" Both activated their duel disks.
West of the Island
Grace and Gloria, disguised, made their way where the location of one of the dragons was detected. They had reached the end of the city and now overlooked a cliff edge.
"Which one do you think it is then?" Grace said trying to lighten the mood.
"It doesn't matter… we just have to stop him from getting to the others." Grace replied with a softer voice than normal.
"Gloria?"
"Let me just go." Gloria said. "Whoever we face…. they could kill us."
"That's not happening! You don't need to prove yourself to me anymore! And we won't die…. we're going to win!"
"You always are the optimistic one."
"But we've reached the end…. a dragon couldn't be hiding here?" Grace looked around.
"Unless…. it's one of the caves…."
"But Academia would've searched them?"
"Some go very deep… places where even a drone couldn't get to…" Gloria replied.
The two then heard helicopter blades coming from the sky and looked up.
"It can't be…." stuttered Grace.
"We have to move!"
East of the Island
Masumi, Gongenzaka had formed the final team in Fusion and had gone the opposite of Gloria and Grace.
This part of island also had a forest, though smaller than the main one.
"So he's in there?" Mercy asked.
"Yeah… either Yuya or Yuri." Gongenzaka replied.
"And this just got worse….." Masumi noted as she noticed Clear Wing in the cage.
Marina
Marina was hiding in alleyway off the main market place. She saw everyone in the market looking up to the sky and Marina used this chance to move while everyone was distracted.
She had a quick look up in the sky and saw the helicopter fly further up to reach peak height for the dragons.
"It's starting…. and I have nowhere or no one.…" she thought as she went down another empty alleyway.
As she rested against the wall, she could hear the sound of energy circling next to her. She turned and a portal was forming.
"Come on!" yelled a voice.
"Who is it?!"
Out stepped Reira.
"You…. but….?"
"Just come on! We don't have time!" Reira replied. Marina agreed and went through with the young girl.
Academia
Saunders, the Academia top general stood in Leo's throne room with a holoscreen ahead of him. He saw Yuzu, Rin and Ray slowly walk up towards the island from the docks.
"How do we approach this, sir?" said a voice on another screen.
"This is everything I've been training you all for." Saunders smugly replied. "We will have nothing but the best for our guests! Allow them to enter with no interruption!"

Stepping through Marina found herself walking into a medium size room with equipment around it.
Inside the room were Reiji, Yusho, Mercy and Reira along with the Fusion residents they saved from the re-education centre.
"How…. how did you get access here?" Marina asked.
"We came up with a plan and it worked." Reiji said.
"This is one of the main portal rooms…. you're insane for being here!"
"We have enough people now to fight off an Academia army."
"Why…. why open a portal for me….?"
"Because we scanned the whole island to make sure the others were in position, and we found you." Reira added.
"We found you on your own, young lady." Yusho added. "You looked like you were on the run."
"Wait…. Yusho…. you're Yusho….?"
"And I've heard a lot about you, Marina." Yusho smiled.
"We saw that you were on the run…. thought we would offer you a chance." Reiji said.
"Yes…. thank you…"
"Why were you on the run?" Yusho asked.
"I… dueled Serena and…."
"Academia isn't what you thought." Mercy added.
"I guess you could say that…." Marina replied. "And… regarding Austin…."
"Austin? What happened?" Yusho responded.
"I came across him after I escaped the castle… in a burnt down forest…. he was…. dying thanks to Leo."
"How?!"
"Leo beat him in a duel and used his powers to slowly kill Austin…. I turned him into a card to prevent him dying…."
"That…. really happened?"
"Yes. I know you have no reason to believe me but… it did."
"We do believe you." Reiji said. "We wouldn't have saved you if we didn't want to listen."
"Thank you, Marina." Yusho replied.
"You're…. thanking me for carding him?"
"You had no other choice. We might have different ideals but you saved a good friend of mine…. that deserves a thank you."
"Yes…. well…."
"What were you planning on doing, Marina?" Reiji asked. "Were you… defecting?"
"No… I…. I don't know anymore! Yuri and Serena are being used for more dangerous things…. I should've seen it coming!"
"Well now you do know. This is Academia, Marina. You might not want to side with us but now you know Leo is not the man he claimed to be." Yusho said.
"Fine…. what do you want me to do?" she asked.
Gloria/Grace
The two sisters had reached a sandy small beach which connected to the several caves alongside the coast.
"If one of them is here, they'll be coming out." Grace said.
"Yeah, Academia wants to flush them out… we can use that to intercept them."
"Well I'm certainly not going to ignore a call like that…. am I?"
Stepping out of the cave was Starving within Yuri's body.
"So you were here…." Grace muttered.
"I'm actually surprised that you humans could find me… you see I have to absorb my brothers and I won't allow you two insects to interrupt that!" Starving hit back.
"You know it's a trap right!" Gloria hit back.
"Of course…. but I can beat any trap they set! After all…. I'm fully healed and ready to go…. you two will make a decent warm up however!"
Grace took a nervous gulp but then stood firm.
"We won't allow you to remain in control of Yuri!" she yelled.
"The seal is broken! Yuri is long, long gone!" Starving activated Yuri's duel disk.
"We'll get him back!" Gloria refuted as the two activated theirs.
"We'll share a field…. I'm sure an almighty dragon can accept that!" Grace added.
"Yuri's memories tell me your sisters…. that bond…. it's something I cherish… I accept!"
"If you cherish bonds, why are you trying to absorb your brothers?!" Grace yelled.
"We're dragons… this is who we are! We were born with power to use that power! And I'll show you!"
Masumi/Gongenzaka
Odd-Eyes had already come out from hiding, also fully recovered and found himself head to head with them.
"Odd-Eyes…." Gongenzaka clenched his fist.
"You two…. stand out of the way." Odd-Eyes replied.
"We know you're like Yuya…. you aren't evil!" Masumi stated.
"I was like Yuya until humanity and duel spirits turned on me for trying to do the right thing…. I'm not like my brothers but nor am I like you! I fight my own side!"
"Then we have no other choice…." Masumi and Gongenzaka activated their duel disks while Yuya activated his.
"I guess so."

Both Monsters flew into the whirlpool and fused. Appearing was a female wearing green jungle clothes with a red cape. She wore a skull of an animal on her head.
Amazoness Empress ATK: 2800 DEF: 2400 Earth/Warrior/Fusion/LVL 8
"I equip it with Amazoness Heirloom!" Gloria said as an old artefact appeared on Empress with a giant green gem. "Once per turn the equipped Monster can't be destroyed in battle. And when it attacks, after damage, I destroy the attack target regardless!"
"How very offensive!"
"And now set one card! I end my turn!"
"So you boast about one card's effect but won't tell me the other? Well I'll just have to find it out myself!"

I summon Predaplant Spinodionaea!" A green dinosaur emerged with a bulb on its back with teeth. "Here we go…" Gloria said to Grace as Starving begun his deck's main theme.
"I use Predaponics to summonPredaplant Moray Nepenthes!"
Predaplant Moray Nepenthes ATK: 1600 DEF: 1000 Dark/Plant/LVL 4
"I use my second Continuous Spell Predapain! When a Predaplant attacks a Monster with a Predator Counter, its attack drops by the attacking Monster's attack until the end of the Damage Step! I attack with Spindionaea!" The bulb on the Monster launched out of its back.

"My Trap disagrees! Amazoness Substitution allows me to summon an Amazoness from my hand and the attack is changed to that!"
"And since we're sharing a field… that counts for me as well!" Grace replied.
"What?!" Starving gritted his teeth.
"I summon Amazoness Fighter!" A bulky female wearing a blue loincloth appeared.
Amazoness Fighter ATK: 1500 DEF: 1300 Earth/Warrior/LVL 4
"And we take no damage from Fighter's battles!" Gloria added as it was destroyed.
"Fine… Predapain only works once per turn…. I set one card and end my turn."

"Draw!" Grace yelled. "I play the Spell Amazoness Call! I can add Amazoness Fusion to my hand via its effect! And now I reveal Amazoness Tiger in my hand to summon Amazoness Spy in defence!" A warrior with a red scarf around her mouth emerged with a long blue cape. She had a green skirt and held a dagger.

"I use Amazoness Fusion to fuse Tiger and Spy!" Both Monsters spun in the whirlpool as a bulky tiger walked forward. It had amour around its joints and an eye patch on its right eye.
Amazoness Pet Liger ATK: 2500 DEF: 2400 Earth/Beast/Fusion/LVL 7
"I banish Amazoness Fusion to stop any Amazoness Fusion Monster on my field from being affected by card effects as long as Pet Liger is on the field!"
"You two are bouncing off one another very well…." Starving snarled.
"That's what siblings do! We might've had our problems but now we're fighting on the same side!" Grace hit back. "Liger attack Moray! And I use his effect! He gains 500 attack during Damage Calculation!"
Liger slashed away at the dark weed Monster, wiping it out.

"Empress attacks!" Grace declared as the female slashed her blade across Spinodionaea and destroyed it.

"So Empress stops all other Amazoness from being destroyed by battle or card effects… and it's equipped with a Spell which stops its own self being destroyed in battle. And while Liger is on the field, Amazoness Monsters can't be affected by card effects…"
"That's our teamwork!"

"I draw!" Starving yelled as his eyes turned thinner, making it look more primal. "I don't have 800 lifepoints so Predaponics is destroyed. I summon Scorpio!" "A black scorpion came out with a large plant like tail.
Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio ATK: 1200 DEF: 800 Dark/Plant/LVL 3
"By sending a Predaplant from my hand, I can bring out a level three or lower Predaplant from my deck! I send Predaplant Cordyceps to the graveyard and bring out Darling Cobra!"A twin headed snake appeared with each head having purple fangs.

"When Special Summoned, I can add a Polymerization to my hand! I Fuse Scorpio and Cobra! I shall summon myself!"
A strike of lighting shot at the beach as the clouds begun to turn dark. The Monsters fired up to the sky and spun around.
"Enter my true form, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!" The mighty purple dragon appeared on the field in all its glory. It unleashed a large roar which could ne heard across the island.

"You won't stop me from becoming one! No human or duel spirit! I gain the attack of one Special Summoned Monster you control! I choose Empress!"

"Now I attack Liger! Even though I can't destroy it I can still cause damage!" Starving yelled as his Monster form fired a deadly purple blast which struck Liger causing the two sisters to shield their eyes.
Gloria/Grace LP: 4000 – 900
"But our Monsters still stand!" Gloria hit back.
"When did that ever matter? I set one card and end my turn!"

"Whatever you have planned… it won't bypass us! I draw!" Gloria yelled. "I attack with Empress! Since she's equipped with Heirloom only Starving will be destroyed!"
The Amazoness leapt high in the air and slashed her blade down across Starving Venom's chest which caused it to explode.
"And your Monster's destruction effect won't work since Amazoness Fusion remains in effect while Liger is on the field!" Grace grasped her hand in a victorious manner.
"You think?! I use my Trap! Predaphysics! I tribute a face up card on my field to return a Dark Monster from my graveyard! Be gone Predapain!"
"What can you be up to?!" Gloria snarled.
"I return my Starving Venom…. and here's the good bit… it's also unaffected by card effects and can't be destroyed in battle this turn! So your Liger can't do anything to it!" Starving smirked as his Monster returned.

All three fired up as Starving lit up in a dark aura. The aura around him created a figure which moved to form on the field. It was a towering green dragon standing on two legs. Its green skin mimicked a leaf pattern. It had a thick weedy tail. It had three heads and wings with red flowers on each.
Predaplant Triphyoverutum ATK: 3000 DEF: 3000 Dark/Plant/Fusion/LVL 9
"Triphyoverutum gains attack equal to one Monster with a Predator Counter… Empress still has hers!"

"Gloria!" Grace turned to her sister.
"Stand strong, Grace…."
"Your face down can't help us?!"
"No…. I'm sorry…."
"Now get out of my way! Triphyoverutum, GO!" Triphyoverutum fired a triple dark blaze at Liger. The Fusion Monster exploded which sent Gloria and Grace flying across the beach.

"Thanks for the warm up, girls…. however I don't need to end your lives…. but I will take your duel spirits!"
Starving's hand lit up in a dark aura as it also surrounded both girl's decks. The sound of the Amazoness could be heard screaming to both sisters who couldn't move due to heavy fall.
"They…. were with us all that time…." Gloria looked as the souls of each Amazoness flew into Starving.
"We failed them…." Grace added.
The cards fell out of their decks and all were blank.
"Why…. why do that?!" Grace snapped.
"Odd-Eyes merged with Sin…. I need all the power I can get! Now… I'll say goodbye!" Starving fired a dark beam at the sand which created a heavy sand cloud. After it faded, Starving had left.
"I just hope… we did enough…. to give Reiji time…" Gloria said.
Yuzu
Yuzu, Ray and Rin walked towards the mountains which surrounded the castle. There was zero sign of anyone.
"There's the entrance tunnel." Ray pointed out from memory of her time at Academia.
"Whatever is waiting for us up there…. I'm ready." Yuzu said as she stepped forward. As she did she could hear weak voices in her mind.
"That's…. the angels…." Warrior said who appeared.
"I hear it as well."Rin added.
"Are they… crying?" Ray replied.
"It doesn't matter, we're heading in the right direction…. we will save Ciel and the others…. we have to…."
"And we just need to hope the others are saving the boys." Rin said.
"They are. We know Reiji's plan… now let's go." Yuzu answered.
Reiji
"You want us to do what?" Marina gasped.
"You will lead Mercy and Reira with the other people we rescued. Me and Yusho will broadcast from here." Reiji said.
"Showing what Academia is doing to the students is the only way to get the whole of the dimension on our side." Mercy replied.
"I can't sneak around Academia?"
"Our disguises will fade away as well soon." Yusho answered. "This is our best chance… we have to do this before Leo returns."
