People!

Here's another one.

IT'S CHANGED! (SNILY)

CHAPTER 5 Discovery

She walked down her dormitory to the common room practically skipping. Last day was the happiest day of her life. She was not even this happy when she first came to Hogwarts. She got her best friend back. And keeping the cherry on the cake, he also promised to not really be on those people's side. She knew he meant it this time. She had also promised herself to be listening him better and become a better friend. She couldn't keep the grin off her face, but some just wanted to pull it off.

"Alright, Evans?" came the flirtatious voice of Potter from her back. She turned around to see his wickedly smiling face and his hand zooming through his messy hair.

"What do you want, Potter?" she asked in almost a bored tone.

His smile faltered for a second but was in place after. "Was just wondering if you would come with me to the last Hogsmeade visit of the year?"

"No" she answered sharply.

"Why? Just give me one chance, Evans. I promise it will be fun."

"The problem starts here, Potter. You, see? We have different definitions of fun. Your fun is bullying others and stripping them in public. Mine's different." She barked.

"I thought you were over Sni- Snape?" he almost said to himself.

"As much as you should know. No! He is still my best friend. And try to do anything- and I mean it anything -I will not hesitate to use any curse I know on you and your pet friends, Potter" from the corner of the room Alice was giving her an impressed look.

"But he practices Dark arts, Evans, how can you bear with that?" he asked incredulously.

"Whatever he does is none of your concern, Potter" Lily said coldly. "And if you really want to be the reformer of this world, why not clean yourself first? I bet you'll find the most dirt there"

"Ev- Lily, but I thought you hated all that Dark arts shit?" he asked, being more and more uncertain of himself. He had so damn sure earlier that Lily had left Snivelly.

"Oh… but I detest you too, Potter, will you keep yourself away from me and Sev? No? Then, why does the other bother you?" she walked through the portrait hole ignoring Daisy and Crystal's disapproval laced hissing voices and the angry looks they were giving her.

Sirius came and kept a hand on James' back. "Bad day, Prongs. I told you to leave Evans. See there you'll find many more girls drooling on you" He winked in the corner filled with girls staring.

"Shove off, Padfoot" James said, not in any mood to talk.

Alice and Mary were passing them, they just flipped once to face them. "I believe, you must heed to Lily's advice. Bullying someone isn't the best option, on top of that her own best friend?" Alice said scornfully.

Mary gave him a hesitant smile gaining a wink from Sirius. She turned around and followed Alice in the Great Hall.

*Page Break*

"I told you she is not loyal to you-"

"We're not together" he said exasperatedly, trying to correct the blonde girl sitting beside him.

"Anyways, Severus, she is at least your friend"

"Your point?" he drawled in his growing annoyance.

Charm huffed. "My point is that look at the way she is looking at Potter."

"Charm! Look at her! She is glaring at him as if she will probably murder him" he hissed at her. But internally he felt rather smug, Lily glaring at Potter, HAA! ...

"You are too innocent, Severus"- he narrowed his eyes to her, daring her to continue. She clucked her tongue at the look – "You have too much faith in her, I think there is something between them"

"And why do you say so?" Why the hell is she having this conversation again? Did she want to ruin one happy morning of his?

"Because, I have always noticed them, the way they flirt and blush on each other's comments, you-"

"Charm! It's absurd!" A voice came from the back and they both turned to meet the pale blue eyes of Selene. "Severus, I'm telling you this is just for her own entertainment that she does this. We Purebloods don't have any other means, you know"

Severus looked between both of them before rolling his eyes in a very dramatic way.

"See? All these are the special effects." Selene began again pointing at Severus' black eyes.

"You would never understand, Selene" Charm shook her head.

"Oh, I would truly never" Selene ruffled Severus' hair gaining a glare in return, but paid no heed.

Severus opened his mouth to say something but was cut by an owl that flew on the table in front of Selene. She frowned, particularly not expecting anything.

She unrolled it, it looked like an entire novel. She rolled her eyes before reaching the very end of the scroll. She just read the last line and smiled.

"What is it?" Severus asked.

"Ah… nothing, just that Shane saying that we have our first two classes free because the defence professor is missing" she told him with a shrug.

"Isn't the letter quite tiny for such a message?" he muttered sarcastically.

She swatted him on his arm, but it was Charm who answered, "Shane has this habit of writing a novel in his letters, that is why you never get bored in the summer vacations. One letter ends till one week at least. It's good to just read the last paragraph, and you are done" Selene nodded in exasperation but was still smiling.

He gave the letter a wide-eyed exaggerated look, before saying, "I have my first period free too" looking unsure of his statement.

"Yeah, that is why we got this letter from Shane, he keeps all records and I have no idea how" she gestured towards the Gryffindor and the Hufflepuff tables, where Lily was truly trying to read the entire thing while Austin just read the last paragraph before rolling his eyes too. Shane on the Ravenclaw table had a content smile.

"We are going to explore the castle" she added.

"We are what?" he looked at her in disbelief, he had never done that. Not even he and Lily. "I have work to do"

"You are not dying tomorrow; it can be done later" she glowered at him and he cowed. How does she do that?

Charm seemed to understand, patting his back she said "We all have got some talents, hers this" she gave and exaggerated sigh, before Selene swatted her on the back of her head.

Meanwhile, the Gryffindor table looked like a battlefield. Lily looked almost buried under the number of girls trying to snatch the letter by Shane or just have to look of his writing. Probably trying to decipher why would Shane write to Lily.

Well… this seemed rather hilarious to Shane as he was hiding his face behind a book masking his shaking shoulders with laughter.

*Page Break*

"Shut up, Shane"

Shane whipped the tears that drew from his eyes. He took Lily's hand and kissed it. "You look beautiful today, Lils" he said before dissolving in another fit of laughter.

Selene glared at him. "People are actually thinking you are in love with her"

"Merlin, don't ask me how I escaped the Gryffindor table" Lily said irritatingly, still trying to straighten her robes.

"Well… we don't find it as funny as you do, Shane" Austin patted Shane's shoulder. "But still half of the girls looked murderous. Then the best part- did you look at Potter's face. You need to be ready for one of his pranks"

"As if I am scared of him" Shane said casually "When Selene is here, never fear" he added with a wink in her direction.

She blushed in the slightest before stepping in the glowering face again "You have brought this on yourself, Shane"

Shane came to her, kissed her on the cheek which was dangerously close to the lips, then put an arm around her shoulder and whispering a "Please" in her ear.

She looked absolutely flustered with wide eyes for a second before clearing her throat. "Fine" she said stiffly, walking and standing beside Severus, who was being a perfect observant, and resting an arm on his shoulder.

"Tit for tat" Austin squeaked, looking at Shane's mock downtrodden face.

"So, what are we doing here on the seventh floor" Charm stepped in the front, speaking for the first time.

"Ah… let's explore, surely after reading my letter you must have gathered that"

"No one except for Lily, read it all"

Shane furrowed then smiled a mischievous smile "Another of my reasons to be in love with her"

"Never expect me to speak to you again, Shane" Selene mumbled walking away.

"As if" Shane went behind her.

"They both are together, aren't they?" Severus assumed leaning a bit towards Charm.

"The biggest simps of the world, you would ever see" Charm snorted.

"So, by the time they are playing their little game, what are we doing?" the dark-skinned boy said taking his eyes off the quarrelling pair.

"Let's get a place to sit peacefully" Lily suggested.

"Right" Severus muttered before being pulled away forcefully by Lily.

*Page Break*

"I truly haven't done anything" Charm looked at the door that just formed on the wall, scared of what she might have done.

"I don't think it's our mistake, Charm" Austin touched the door and it gave them an entrance.

"I don't reckon we should go in" Severus looked at the door suspiciously. "What if it's a trap or something"

"Well… I believe it's safe. We are in Hogwarts after all" Lily kept a hand on his back, that gave him chills up and down his spine.

"What are we waiting for then" Shane excitedly entered, others following.

"I still say it's not safe, I have a feeling"

Severus paused at the door, earning a push from Lily. "Come on, Sev, you are being paranoid for no reason"

"My worry is valid" he grumbled "What if something happens to y- us" he barely caught himself.

She flushed by the concern. "Nothing will go wrong"

"There are many things here" Austin's voice came from the front. "Just look at this- a scull. Ha… why would someone keep a… um" he flushed

"What is it?" Charm looked confused, reaching to touch it.

"No don't, it's a… well…" Severus looked flustered by the thing too.

Shane and Selene came to them. "Who would be having sex here?"

"What?! Why would you say so?" Selene narrowed her eyes.

"What does condoms in a place mean, otherwise, Selene" he realized with her confused face "Purebloods! You all are so ignorant to the world. Well, this is for protection during sex"

Selene picked it up, opened it, before looking at them in genuine confusion. "How is someone supposed to use it?"

Lily made her way forward, took it from her hand and threw it behind one of many portraits. "We don't need a demonstration" she muttered blushing deep red, walking past everyone.

Severus made his way behind her, escaping the embarrassment.

"So, we were looking at the place, tell if you find something interesting. Hmm?" Austin tried to rid every one of the awkward silences.

Selene and Charm shrugged, not bothering about it anymore, and began walking.

Lily searched for things that might be interesting. She found a picture, a seaside hill. She picked it up… but the thing behind it intrigued her more. She kept the picture back down to examine the object.

Silver and blue, a crown- 'Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure'. She looked at it closely when a melting voice met her ears from nowhere.

Yesss, pick it up. You are beautiful, smart, you can rise beyond others. So very father to them. Pick it up… I'll help you to get to the right path. Yes. Those eyes have the thing… I see your mind, your heart. Beauty resides in every essence of your being… you'll be irresistible… you'll be great. Come to it. Pick it up. It is all right…

The voice was so calling… so beautiful… so coaxing… so seductive… it felt right… so powerful… She saw no way to resist it.

Her eyes lost focus. She gripped the thing and placed it on her head just as the voice said.

"No! Lily, remove it, I asked you not to touch anything" Severus' worries were for the right.

"And why should I? I don't take your commands" Severus could swear to anything, he saw a red tint in the pretty, green eyes of Lily after she wore that crown thing.

"Lily, please, look at me, throw the thing which is on your head" he pleaded, he had a wrong feeling about the place already.

A gasp came from his back. Shane stood perplexed. "Where did you find that?" he whispered.

"What is it?" Charm asked, having no clue of what the thing was.

"Lily, please, can you hear me? Remove it, Lily" Why wasn't she listening?

"It's the lost diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw" Shane only whispered; his sub- conscious seemed to believe any high note would make the thing disappear.

"What happened to Lily? Huh… did you see that? Her eyes glowed red" Austin prompted cowering back in fear.

Charm still didn't see the problem "Do you think there is a glamour charm on the thing?"

"You don't understand, do you?" Severus practically yelled at her, frustration seeping from his veins "the object is-"

"Cursed" Selene completed. "She is probably possessed. Do you think you could do something, Severus?"

He nodded hesitantly "The only way I know is to bring herself to the reality again. But she doesn't seem to hear me. The longer this remains on her head, the worse it gets"

He brought her hands on the top of Lily's head, trying to get the thing off her. But she pushed him to the floor with great strength, he didn't know anyone could possess. A dark pain shot in his right leg.

She glared at him. "You think you know more than I do? Huh? I know your inner soul, your every thought" she said dangerously, leaning down and grabbing his jaw tightly. She laughed. Not the ringing of bells Severus remembered, it was a cruel one which made the hair on his neck stand.

"The soul isn't tainted yet, but soon can be" she laughed another mirthless laugh. "Your fears are valid. You are worthless and a burden, worse than trash" she leaned to his ear "No one will love you, for there are many better than you. But after all of this you still will be good for service under the greatest. I see that mind of yours. You have the potential. Nothing in this world is wrong or right, it's all power. Perhaps, greatness awaits you. So, rise, rise from these trivialities"

She was trying to lure him, No! The thing was trying to lure him, he knew, he wouldn't fall for the bait. But there were things she said that hurt at the worst places. He swallowed hard. He wanted to do something but raising a wand to Lily was the most repulsive idea.

He tried to free himself, struggling from her iron grasp but no use. Her hand went the front of his neck, gripping him tightly, choking him. He started seeing black and white spots in his vision. He gasped for oxygen but Lily won't let him.

Everything went too fast for anyone to comprehend. Finally, Austin came to his senses and shouted "Stupefy!" at Lily, making her stumble back.

Severus coughed, desperate for more air. Then looked at the unconscious form of Lily. He reached to remove the diadem but paused. What if it possesses him too? He took the handkerchief out of his robes and gingerly grabbed it without making any direct contact with his body. He kept it on a table behind on a picture he didn't seem to notice.

All three- Shane, Selene and Charm were standing stunned. Everything went too fast for them to capture. Shane had gripped Selene's hand as a life line and Charm was now etching as far as possible from the cursed object.

"Lily, Lily. Please, wake up. You are fine now. We removed the thing from you, Lily." He patted her cheek gently.

"Uh… Severus… I stupefied her." Austin said still seeming scared coming near Lily.

"Rennervate!" Selene whispered as soon as she found her voice pointing her wand to Lily.

Lily opened her eyes, looking at the worried black eyes. She frowned. What happened? She thought before a piercing pain shot in his head. She moaned.

"Lily, what is it? Does your head hurts? Wait" He searched in his robes.

He hesitantly slipped one of his hands behind her back, helping her to sit up. "Take this. It's a Pain Reducer. Open your mouth, Lily" he instructed, dropping the potion in her mouth. "It will take almost five minutes to take effect"

All of them situated themselves on the floor, thinking about what just happened. Saying it was frightening would be an understatement.

The pain receded and Lily looked at them confused, taking in their worried, wary and fearful faces.

"What happened?" she asked in a whisper, worried her voice would break something.

Severus' eyes flickered to meet her. All the worries left his features, only rage flashed. He stood up from the floor, looking as if in authority to them.

"I asked not to come here, didn't I? But fine if my word holds no value. It never did, anyways. No one waited to even give a thought." He stormed out of the room, limping, half furious with himself to even have allowed any of the fools to come in. He should have slapped each one out of the place.

What if something would have happened to Lily? They had just become friends again. He didn't want to lose her once more. If something would have happened to her, he will have never be able to forgive himself. He was beside her all the time, why did he not see her placing it on her head. It was all his fault.

He went straight to his dorm, in no mood to stay out and face anyone. Not even stopping for the hospital wing to have his leg checked.

*Page Break*

They all sat there perplexed, staring in space where Severus just stood. The words of Severus still ringing in their ears. Those words stabbed them in their hearts. 'My word holds no value. It never did, anyways.' he had said.

"Would someone tell me, what happened?" Lily broke the silence with her desperate tone.

"Y-you were possessed, Lily." Shane managed, not looking at her.

"What? Possessed? How?" she was shaken by the entire episode and no one looked any different. They absolutely refused to meet her eye, she noticed that scared her even more.

"You wore that d-diadem, it supposedly p-possessed you" Charm stammered, staring in her lap.

She looked up at the table. The diadem kept wrapped in a white handkerchief. Severus asked them not to come here and especially not to touch anything suspicious. But she didn't listen to him. He was probably hurt and angry of her. How can she be such a fool?

"What did I do to him?" she knew she had done something.

"You- never mind" Selene started but stopped abruptly.

"No! Please tell me. What did I do?" her eyes welling up but she brushed the tears furiously. What has she done to him?

Shane decided to relate events to her. "First, you were shouting at him then he tried to take the diadem off you is when… is when y-you pushed him to the floor… that must have hurt hard-"

"I saw him limping, I did that?"

"Y-Yeah…" he hesitated, should he give everything out? "Then you said that he is worthless and a burden"- she gasped, how could she? – "then you indirectly asked him to become a Death Eater, as much as I was able to comprehend"

"You told him that nothing is wrong or right it's all power that exist, and he does have a potential for that" Selene spoke still not meeting her eyes.

"I would never say that" she grabbed her hair, frustrated that she so easily lost control of herself.

"Then you said nobody could ever love him" Charm looked straight in Lily's eyes. Selene and Shane almost had a silent decision to skip out this detail.

"No! No, I wouldn't have said that. How could I? Sev, I am sorry… I am so s-sorry" she began weeping. Why does she always end up hurting him in some or the other way?

She felt a comforting hand on her back, it was so gentle that she almost didn't feel it. She looked up to meet the amber eyes of Austin. Empathetic and filled with concern.

"It's not your fault, he knows you were not yourself" he coaxed.

"But I said it, anyways" she said between her sobs "It was just yesterday I promised him to be a better friend"

"We must not have come here in the first place. He is perhaps sensitive to dark magic. That is how he felt it" Selene reasoned.

"He won't remain like that for long. As much as I have known him in these days is that he now will be blaming himself." Shane muttered. "Leave him for some time, I bet he will be the one running to give you a hug" he smiled at her. He knew something of Severus she didn't understand yet.

"He doesn't give hugs" Lily said whipping her tears.

"Ah… then who was the one gripping you as a life-line yesterday" he brought the normal humour to his voice again.

She blushed. Why was she blushing? Then she laughed to cover it. "He was too emotional at that time to have noticed that"

"So, he hugs you whenever he is emotional?" Austin intoned.

"Yeah… perhaps… it is really very rare. I don't even remember the one before yesterday's"

"Right, and don't tell me he wasn't emotional now" Selene snorted.

"Well, he is angry with us all" Austin said, a worried frown forming around his eyes. "He won't speak to anyone, you know? And none of us know how much time he will take to calm down"

Charm stood up "Well… I am getting out of this place… you all can continue" she looked too shaken up by the entire ordeal. Then she already had this meaningless repulsion from Lily. It was surely going to grow more.

"We are coming too, Charm" Austin called behind her.

"I am telling you he won't remain like that for long. We just need to apologise for not listening to him, let him know that his word does matters to us" Shane said before standing up too.

"Yeah" Selene stood up too and Austin and Lily with her.

All of them walked out, leaving the diadem still on the table wrapped with a handkerchief, kept on a picture, not even looking back once.

*Page Break*

"Would you care to tell me what is going on in that head of yours?"

"You won't understand, Marlene, but for your information, I disregarded one of Sev's safety instructions and that is why he is not talking to me." She had been worrying mad about this.

"So, this time it's Mr. Sev who is not speaking." Marlene had some mischievous eye twinkle. "For Merlin's sake- Apologise" she put too much emphasis on the word, telling how obvious it was.

"Sev doesn't make anything easier. He has been cooped up in his dorm for five days" Lily said, frustrated of Severus' stubbornness. Charm and Selene had tried to go in but they met no success.

"Oh… then why not barge in Mr. Sev's dorm" A smirk playing on Marlene's lips.

"What? In the Slytherin dorm? Are you off your rockers, Marlene?" she looked at her in disbelief. She was shocked that Marlene suggested it- a Gryffindor till core.

Honestly, she had thought of doing it. But before it she asked Slughorn about him, who said he is absolutely fine. She was never more disappointed in Slughorn for such low interests in his students' well-being.

"Girls are allowed in boys' dormitory, aren't we? You can go." Marlene said feigning ignorance.

"I am serious Marl- Hey! Austin!" She waved to her new Hufflepuff face.

A grin blossomed on the dark-skinned boy's face when he approached them.

"Hi, Lily" he did not seem to notice Lily's friend until a gasp came from her direction.

Both Lily and Austin swiped their heads in Marlene's direction, who had gone deep red at Austin's arrival. She looked stunned.

She leaned to Lily's side, whispering in her ear. "You never told me you were friends with such hot boys" her eyes trailed towards his shorts clad legs which left his calves and lower thighs open.

Austin seemed to had heard every word, blushed furiously and after the gaze his face looked ready to burn from heat. A girl thought he was hot? Well… perhaps he was. He cleared his throat.

"Hi, I am Austin Preston, Lily's friend" he extended a hand in Marlene's direction.

Marlene gingerly shook the hand, blushing red again. "I-I am Marlene McKinnon, Lily's friend and a Gryffindor Chaser."

"Oh…the one because of which you won last time; I saw the match" why did he made this comment? He was being ridiculous till no ends.

"You did watch the match?" Marlene asked incredulously.

"Ah… well… it was against Hufflepuff… so I did" Good he came up with an excuse.

Marlene deflated "Right"

"So, I reckon I must leave you both alone" Lily whose been observing the entire conversation, and seemed to have forgotten was there by the other two, prompted.

"I am coming with you, Lily"

"Fine, come then"

Marlene's eyes still hadn't left Austin's. "Will you come to Hogsmeade with me?" she blurted out.

He looked absolutely stunned before turning red "A-As in a d-date?"

"Yeah… if you would like, a date?" she asked, unsure.

He smiled hesitantly. "Yeah… s-sure? It will be fun"

"Meet you there then" she waved walking behind Lily.

"Right, bye" saying this he walked away too.

"So, you think my friend is hot? Hmm?" Lily asked, having the twinkle playing in her eyes this time.

"I mean… yeah… he is… did you see his legs? And his teeth? And his amber eyes? Merlin" Marlene sighed. Lily had never seen Marlene so flustered before.

She smirked. "Teeth. Eyes. Legs. Something else that interested you?" teasing is so much fun, she thought to herself.

Marlene swatted her arm, turning red again. "Yeah- No! Fine. Yes. Of course. He is just too well shaped" she went into a dreamy remembrance.

Lily laughed. This was getting hilarious by the second. "And you asked him for a date? To Hogsmeade?" Lily raised her eyebrow.

Marlene frowned. "What do you think is funny? Can I not ask someone for a date?"

Lily laughed again, kept a hand on her mouth trying to stifle it. "No, No, Marlene. You can, absolutely. But the way you were looking at him? It was hilarious. I never seen you so… so… love fallen"

"I am not in love. We have not even been to our first date"

"Yeah… we'll see about that" Lily smirked, but her thoughts again wandered towards a certain black-eyed boy. Praying to every deity she knew that he is actually fine and not being hard on himself.

*Page Break*

He had been in his dormitory for too long. He didn't know how many years had passed, but he didn't come out, not even to attend the classes. He was still dissolved in half guilt and half anger. And didn't want to leave the cover of his bed. At least here he didn't have to face anyone other than Mulciber, Avery, Rosier and Afroze.

Afroze was another Pureblood in Slytherin but surprisingly he was against the Pureblood rule. He and his family came under the tags of Blood-Traitors. He wasn't been very vocal about his beliefs but when asked his opinion, he never hesitate to show his contempt against blood-purists. Severus hasn't talked to him many times.

Well… back to the talking matter, Severus hadn't done that for the time being with anyone. He never knew that the 'diadem incident' would cut him from the mark for so long. His thoughts went to the same line again.

What if Lily wouldn't have come out of the possession at the right time? What if it would have taken her away from him somehow? What if she would have… he closed his eyes. He didn't even want to think about any such thing happening. He wanted to see her in front of her every single day. He wanted to hold her. To feel her. To have… He paused again opened his eyes and cringed at himself. He knew he was seeing dreams. He didn't think it was ever possible.

They had just been friends once more. Perhaps… But… What if she is angry with him for not stopping her from wearing that thing? What if she blames him for getting possessed? It was his fault, wasn't it? He could have stopped it. Those green eyes turning red. His heart started beating faster with terror again. What if Lily gets frustrated of him sulking? What if when he gets out of this place and finds Lily with someone else? His heart clenched with horror. Now, he had another reason to not leave the place. She would perhaps look at him with the corner of his eye and ignore. No! They were best friends, weren't they? She wouldn't ignore him.

At least he would have his friends. Friends? Where did that come from? Yeah… they were some of the fewer people who showed him kindness and understanding. Never denying the fact that they were as annoying as hell. But they were friends. And what he repaid them as? Letting them head first in an anonymous place which he felt was wrong? He was such a fool. And then he wasn't helping them sitting here sulking like a kid. But he also wanted them to understand that what they did was wrong. Half of him was also terrified to go out and find them possessed or indirectly harmed somehow. He shuddered at the thought. He could do anything to see them safe.

He wanted to touch all of them, hug them and feel himself that they all were alright… yeah, Charm too. He frowned. When did he get so connected with them- Selene, Shane, Austin and Charm? He knew it wasn't good to be attached to someone so much. He already knew they are going to leave him one or the other day, no one ever stays. That too with him? He knew he was nothing more than a bore. But now, why was Merlin making it difficult for him to suffer through it? He laid his head on his pillow, clutching his blanket in his fists.

He laid there in his thoughts when the curtains around his four-poster bed open, revealing the irritated face of Alvin Mulciber.

"You are still here" he observed.

"What's it to you Mulciber? Leave me alone" Severus said, his own irritation seeping out.

"He is still like that" Mulciber said to someone in the dorm over his shoulder.

The gap widened and showed Afroze, cross armed on his chest. "What are you doing in here for so long? Are you sick?"

"No! Nothing's happened to me. Go away" he hid his face in embarrassment when it came out as a whine. It was proven now; he had gone mental.

"Fine. But I must tell you it has been five days since you have been sulking in your bed for who knows why" Afroze snorted.

"What? Five days?" his eyes widened. Thinking about it as years was somehow easier than knowing it has been five days. What had he done in five days?

"The very same, so, are you going to come out?" what was that? Did he just see a flicker of concern in Mulciber's eyes? Yes… then he knew Mulciber was a soft-hearted creature without Avery at his back.

"I believe I have to" he growled, looking at his filthy clothes that smelt like shit. He hadn't bathed in five days, what did he expect? How did he eat? Oh, yeah, it just appeared on his bed-side table.

"After all" Both Mulciber and Afroze threw their hands up in an exaggerated sigh.

Severus came out of his bed to get ready for what was impending. Just standing a sharp pain pierced in his right ankle. Damn! It was sprained. Of course, he had ignored it for too long.

Hope you enjoyed it.
