"I shall end this turn, Starving with this! I play the Spell Card Dragon's Final Judgement! For each Dragon Monster on my field I negate one on your field and you take 200 damage for each!"

Both sides had three dragons with Starving controlling Crystal Wing, Greedy Venom and Odd-Eyes Supreme King Starving Dragon. Odd-Eyes had Advance Dragon, Dark Requiem and Ancient King.

"I negate all your Dragons!" Odd-Eyes yelled as each of Starving's Monsters turned to grey.

"Now your annoying Monsters have been shut down… it's time for my attack! I use Dark Requiem's effect!

"I make one of your Monster's attack zero and he gains it all! Naturally I choose Odd-Eyes Supreme King Starving Dragon with its 3500!"

"Wipe him out, Requiem!" Odd-Eyes yelled as his Xyz Dragon's stain-glassed window wings lit up and a multicoloured beam formed in his mouth.

"As if I would lose that easily! I activate my Trap Dark Seed Planter Shield! When your Dark Monster attacks one of my Dark Monsters, I can negate the attack and we each draw a card!"

Requiem's attack was blocked by a dark force which dissolved the blast upon impact. Both Starving and Odd-Eyes drew.

"But Crystal is Wind so I attack with my upgraded self, Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon!"

"Mutual destruction?!"

The green plating around the thin red dragon lit up and fired out multiple rays towards the shining Synchro Dragon.

Crystal Wing countered with a beam which had been charged up using the energy around its body. The two beams collided.

"Not a chance! I banish Final Judgement along with a level seven Dragon Monster. I banish Odd-Eyes Dragon which allows me to reduce your Monster's attack until the end of the turn by 200 X the amount of Dragon Monster's on my field!"

Crystal ATK: 2400

Crystal's attack weakened as the multiple rays of Advance easily overpowered the Synchro Monster, destroying it.

Starving LP: 1000 – 400

"And now Advance's effect! When it destroys a Monster, I summon a level five or higher Monster from my graveyard! Return Dragoncaller Magician in defence!"

"You failed!" Starving yelled.

"I…. set one card and end my turn…"

Yuzu

Yuzu along with Serena, Rin, Ray, and Ruri as well being joined by Marina, Edo, Reiji and Reira walked down the corridor with a royal red carpet. Before them were large doors with golden plating.

"The Arc Area Project is behind there…" Edo stated.

"And that's where Leo, my dad… and everyone who has been carded are being held…" Yuzu affirmed.

"And the angels." Warrior said who appeared next to Yuzu.

"This is where Leo is controlling the merging progress… I don't know much else." Edo said.

"As if we're just going to walk in…" Marina said.

"Leo knows we're here… he would have done something if it was a trap." Edo said.

"He doesn't care as it's all going his way." Reiji said.

"I know how to get the power back to the angels." Reira said.

"And like I said, that's not going to happen if it involves sacrificing yourself."

"It's the only way to stop the merged dragon and free the others!" Reira hit back.

"Enough of this!" Yuzu yelled. "Esperanza might've given you an idea but no way would she ask you to sacrifice yourself."

Yuzu went to the door and opened it, as she did the entire group teleported.

Appearing the large room with Leo inside the green orb was the group. It was a giant tower like structure. In the corners of the room were five lights, green, orange, black, purple and blue. The group had been teleported to the platform which surrounded the structure.

"Leo!" Yuzu yelled.

"I was listening in to everything….! I thought you might want to see the main show though so I rushed the conversation!"

"What do you mean?" Rin asked.

"Ask Serena… surely she knows!" Around Leo's green orb were cards flying around him.

"Each of the carded souls… you're going to use them as energy… now?"

"Of course I mean now! I have everything I need!"

"We won't let you!" Yuzu tried to activate her duel disk but it didn't respond.

"No spirits or Real Solid Vision will work in here, young lady." Leo replied.

"As expected of King Leo…he was a genius in the past world and since he knows his true past along with the knowledge of his reincarnation… he can combine the two." Reira stated.

"I realized my past a little while ago… all these talks of spirits… the previous world… back when all this started… back when I found out about energies which remained from the previous world… the summoning methods…. I guess my past self knew all along and guided me to this point!"

"This all started because you thought Yusho stole Real Solid Vision… that was your reason!" Reiji hit back.

"That was a disguise… I don't care about any of that now. I am and always have been King Leo! The rest of the original world was sealed into cards while the angels became bracelets with the dragons being stored into cards… I guess Ciel and her gang forgot about me!"

"When she and the rest of the angels split the dimensions… it was her will to give you another life!" Warrior hit back.

"And that life was a pathetic failure! So much so, my past life stepped up to take over…. she took my life only to have me resurrect once more!"

"She never wanted to take your life… that was just a dark, dark day…." Yuzu hit back.

"After we discovered the new energy I and the dragons agreed it was needed… they sided with me… that hurt her!"

"They agreed with you but they never would've sided with you!" Warrior yelled. "The angels never trusted anyone with that power while the dragons

"Even if they had their own motives… my death enraged the people… the same people who abused the dragons… the same dragons which finally snapped including Odd-Eyes… It all comes back to me! That's why I must assume full control once more!"

"You're a fool!" Edo yelled.

"So you're the last one to turn on me?" Leo questioned. "I'm surprised you lasted this long…!"

"You gave me a home, Leo… but that duel with Yusho… it…."

"You knew he didn't personally order for your father to die in the Academia fire so now you just abandon everything you believe? It doesn't matter, I don't need you anymore!"

"I truly thought believed in what you were saying Leo but I just listened to anything you said because you gave me what I wanted… a home… you filled the void… I can't believe I was so stupid!" Edo yelled.

"The final draw!" Starving screamed as he unleashed a purple aura upon drawing.

"Ancient King destroys any Special Summoned Monster you bring out!" Odd-Eyes reminded. "You're stuck!"

"You really think you backed me into a corner?! Time to revert back to basics! I use the Spell Dark Hole!"

"What?!"

"I destroy both our fields!"

Starving and Odd-Eyes' fields both vanished as a deep dark black hole absorbed all the Monsters on the field.

"This duel will be decided this turn! I play Monster Reborn! Return to the field Triphyoverutum!" The purple dragon fired from the field and flew back into the sky covered in a dark purple aura.

Predaplant Triphyoverutum ATK: 3000 DEF: 3000 Dark/Plant/Fusion/LVL 9

"Smart, you can block my Pendulum Summons with that…"

"Don't patronize me! I won't allow you to look down on me. I have always been the true leader and this will begin my reign! ATTACK!"

Triphyoverutumunleashed multiple purple energy balls from its mouth as Odd-Eyes smirked.

"I use my Trap Time Pendulumgraph! I destroy Red Iris in my Pendulum Zone to destroy your Triphyoverutum!"

Red Iris vanished leaving behind a red energy which covered Triphyoverutum, making it vanish. Starving upon seeing this fell to his knees.

"You…. how…."

"When it comes to using Pendulums… I can use them in any way possible. That's why I'm the true wielder of the Pendulum energy. Just as before…. I shall assume command!"

Odd-Eyes LP: 100 Hand: 0

"DRAW!"

Leo

"You really think you can stop me now with a duel? I have no reason to agree to it!" Leo gloated.

"If you're going to do something… do it now!" Edo said to Reiji.

Reira looked at Leo in the centre and the lights at the corner of the giant tower.

"It's time."

"Time for what?!" Leo replied.

"Leo! Your fight is with me!" Edo took a step back before leaping off the ledge of the tower as he launched himself towards the green orb in the centre of the room which had the soul-cards of the captured duelists flying around.

"EDO?!" Yuzu yelled as Edo grabbed onto the green orb.

"What do you hope to achieve?"

Edo had no idea but slammed his fists down onto the green orb, trying to break in.

"Such primal behaviour." Leo said as he held out his hand and the green orb lit up the room, blinding everyone else who was watching.

As the light faded, Edo had disappeared but capturing Yuzu's attention was a card with Edo's face on it.

"What a pathetic waste."

"Edo…." Yuzu despaired.

"I guess he felt he owed it to us to even try…." Marina said.

"That fool!" Serena screamed.

"Where's Reira?!" Ruri looked around and noticed the child had disappeared from the ledge.

"Reira?!" Reiji yelled as he looked around.

"There!" Rin noticed that Reira was now floating at the top of the tower. She was positioned in the middle of the five angel lights.

"Stop this!" Reiji shouted to the highest his voice could go.

"I was given this role by the angel's mother."

"Edo was a distraction?!" Leo angrily replied.

"She wouldn't have given you the power to take your own life!" Yuzu bellowed.

"We need to do something!" Marina said.

"What can we do?!"

"There's nothing…." Warrior appeared next to Yuzu.

Reira begun to release all the colours of the summoning methods from her body and each one fired into the machine below the green orb. The machine begun to light up which Leo noticed.

"As if I'll allow some deceased duel spirit to stop me! The angel power belongs to me!" Leo yelled.

Leo raised his hand and electricity fired from the orb which struck Reira but there was zero effect. Reira was transferring her life force into the machine and not even Leo was able to stop that.

"Esperanza wouldn't let an innocent human child give up her life…. she gave Reira the power but there must be a catch?" Yuzu said.

"Or maybe she won't…." Warrior said.

"Wait… Esperanza has merged with Reira… she isn't Reira right now… this is a fusion between the two… a new entity."

"A new entity…. which if it gives up its life force… should revert back to Reira once it's all used up…." Reiji looked up, almost with a smile.

"So… we've won?!" Rin yelled.

Leo then begun to laugh which caught the group out by surprise.

Leo opened up a holoscreen and the energies around the tower begun to light up.

"What now?!"

"I have harnessed the power of the angels! The souls of the captured duelists are fuelling my machine but the angel energy will be the power which makes my utopia and brings the dragon under my control!"

"That means nothing." Reira hit back.

"You think just destroying my machine would do such a thing?! I have harnessed the power of magic and technology!"

The energies fired into the machine which caught Reira by surprise.

"I don't know what this Esperanza thought…. but one advantage of having a modern day incarnation is that I know all of his knowledge of technology… using the angel energy with carded souls… I'll absorb you as well!"

"Absorb?!" the group yelled as the life force of Esperanza-Reira begun to cause her pain.

"No!" she cried as she grew weaker and weaker.

"You belong to me!" Leo clenched his fist as Esperanza-Reira faded into energy which passed into the machine.

"NO!"

"I set Dragonpit Magician in my Pendulum Zone!"

Stargazer 1 – 8 Dragonpit

"Appear myself!" Odd-Eyes said as his Monster form took to field.

"Direct attack!"

"I can't…. I won't….! I refuse!" Starving yelled but there was nothing he could do as the red blast from Odd-Eyes sent the dragon flying across the field.

"And it's done." Odd-Eyes said.

Starving lay flat on the floor as he looked to the darkening sky.

"So…. here we go…" he said.

Starving's deck hit the ground and fired out an energy beam. Starving had sealed Grace and Gloria's Amazoness Monsters as a power source, they returned upon his loss.

"This whole world…. you're just going to burn it to the ground then?" Starving said weakly.

"Only the humans…. nothing else. The humans were the ones which turned on us…. the duel spirits were being lied to by the angels."

"No one will side with you…. only by power will they understand…!"

"You have no room to talk…. you lost." Odd-Eyes put out his hand.

Mainland

The protests were continuing after Academia's true nature had been exposed to the Fusion Dimension.

Gongenzaka, Masumi, Gloria, Grace, Ryo along with Mercy and Mina were surrounded by Obelisk Force as the sky got darker.

"What's going on?" said an Obelisk Force guard.

"Ignore that we have a job!" said another.

Each one of the Lancers had a duel disk out but before they could start their duel a portal appeared beside them.

"What now?!" Gongenzaka yelled.

Coming out were a group of people and the faces of the Lancers went from pain to happiness as they saw the faces.

Coming out was Kaiba, Ruka, Aki, Tsukikage, Shun, Rio, Anna, Haruto and Luna. Many of the allies they had gained through the dimensions.

"Apologises over the wait…." Kaiba smugly said. "I needed sometime to work everything out!"

"How did they get here?!"

"The dimensional blockade is no-more… and we finally worked out how to reverse those who have been carded!" Shun hit back.

"Amazing!" Grace yelled.

"You can't duel all of us." Haruto said.

The sky now begun thundering and bolts of lightning begun hit the buildings causing the crowd to begin to panic.

"What on earth is happening?!" said Kaiba.

"We don't have time for this! We need to return to the castle!" The Obelisk Force hit their duel disks and teleported away.

"Kaiba!" Masumi went up to the ground.

"Good to see you guys…. but I fear we're a bit late…" he replied.

"What about everyone else?" Mercy said to her old friend Ruka.

"We have everyone now in the Synchro Dimension. We moved all refugees in Standard to there. Xyz, Standard, Ritual are now empty. Synchro is the most protected." Ruka said.

The lightning got worse and the crowd including the mainland guards all finally lose their nerve and begun to run away. Rain began hailing down from the sky.

"We need shelter! Quick!" Kaiba yelled.

Leo

Reira had disappeared from the room, Reiji sunk to his knees.

"Reira…" Ruri whispered her name.

"You see?!" Leo yelled. "There is nothing more left to do!"

"Leo…. King Leo… whoever you are…. I'll make sure you suffer for everything!" Yuzu clenched his fist. Her bracelet rattled.

"We have no plan… but… we're still here to fight!" Ray bellowed.

"It's far too late!"

A holoscreen appeared before Leo saying the machine was "100 percent loaded."

"Watch as your carded allies become the fuel!" The cards around Leo all dissolved as they flowed into the machine. The green towers lit up brightly.

"Dad…." Yuzu felt the despair once more.

"Not talking tough now are you!" Leo smirked. Another holoscreen appeared.

"Professor, the dragons are about to merge!"

"Who won?!"

"It was Odd-Eyes!"

"So it'll happen again…. and this time I'll be alive to the Supreme King and he'll be under my control!"

"The Fusion Dimension is currently in a state of crisis…. the mainland have been exposed to Lancer propaganda."

"It matters not… I still have my loyal supporters… once the utopia is made, I'll find out those who seek revenge and easily wipe out. Activate the dimensional bubble!"

Around the entire Fusion Dimension, a clear bubble emerged, sealing the dimension in. Everyone stopped as the thunder and rain had now been sealed.

"Dimensional bubble? Leo is protecting this dimension…. while wiping out the rest…"

"He's doing it…." Ruri put her hands to her mouth and backed up against the wall, Rin and the others could only grit their teeth.

"Yes! A mass extinction! And now time for the angel's energy to do what I wanted them to do!" Leo took out of his pocket a golden bracelet.

"It can't be…." Warrior said.

"It's all science at the end of the day… this will allow me to imagine my true utopia… the angel energy is fully under my control!"

"Angel energy…?" Yuzu thought as the green towers begun to spark.

"What now?!" Leo yelled.

The bracelet girl's bracelet all begun to glow and as the sparking increased, Yuzu had worked it out.

"Girls! Raise your bracelets!"

Each one of them did and the coloured energies mixed with the sparking. This combined into five lights which fired into their bracelets.

"What was that?!"

"I feel… something?" Serena said.

"It can't be…?" Rin replied.

"Was this Reira's plan all along?" Ruri added.

"I think it was…." Ray said.

"No energy has been lost… what's happened?!" Leo demanded to know.

"The angels are back with us!" Yuzu shouted. "We have their souls back! They are weak but…. there here." Yuzu felt Ciel's presence.

"I don't care about their souls! I have their power! Now, continue the erasure of the remaining four dimensions!"

"Those people in those worlds…." Marina stuttered.

"I hope Kaiba and the others made it here…." Reiji said.

"But… once Leo is done… he'll have the dragons under his control… we stand no chance…."

"He's saving everyone in this dimension including us…. we still stand a chance…."

"Witness your worlds die!" Leo pointed to the wall as it showed the five dimensions as Earths. Fusion was surrounded by its bubble as white matter came spreading from Fusion, devouring space and the dimensions.

Odd-Eyes

"So this is their aim?" Odd-Eyes had just absorbed Starving.

The bubble dome had caught him by surprise but it didn't matter at all to Odd-Eyes.

"Leo will wipe out the duel spirits…. that man will die first!" Odd-Eyes had five lights run through his body. "We've become o-"

As Odd-Eyes was about to evolve five bright lights fired from the sky as Leo appeared on a holoscreen.

"Don't even try, Odd-Eyes!" Leo taunted. "With the power of my science and the angel energy… I outmatch you even with absorbing Sin!"

The lights continued down onto Odd-Eyes as he yelled. On the map the whiteness continued to expand. The Lancers, all across the dimension, could only look on helplessly.
