The episode starts off with the gang grilling some pizzas, cooking some pop corn and setting wine out on the table
"Man I can't believe this year is already over." Cat said
"About time too." Jade said
"Uh Jade weren't you due to give birth last month?" Tori asked
"Lendle did say it could take longer." Beck replied
"It hasn't even been 9 months like normal pregnancy is." André says
"Well do you know if it's a boy or girl?" Trina asked
"It's still unsure." Jade replied
Sinjin and Robbie walk in with more wine
"Sorry we're late." Robbie says
"We got all the wine they had left." Sinjin says
"Great. The guests should be here soon." Tori said
"Who's all coming?" Cat asked
"My parents, Lane, Sikowitz and your Nona." Tori replied
"That's it?" André asked
"Well I also invited Zack, Cody, Bailey, Maddie and London but they decided to spend their New Year's in Boston." Tori replied
"Lucky." Trina says
"Well actually we're lucky cause it's warmer over here." Robbie says
"Oh yeah." Trina said
Doorbell rings
"Dine dong." Cat said
"You said it wrong honey." Robbie says
"Ding dong." Cat corrected herself
"It's open!" Jade yelled
The door opens and Sikowtz, Lane and Nona walk in
"We're here." Sikowitz said
"Hi Cat." Nona says
"Hi Nona." Cat said
"Where do you want me to put the wine?" Lane asked
"On the table." André replies
"So Cat have you made any resolutions?" Nona asked
"I would but I'm not going to keep them." Cat replies
"Hey Tori I don't know if I was suppose to or not but I invited my sister." Robbie says
"Why?" Tori asked
"She had no plans so why not." Robbie replied
"Hey Robbie, remember when her butterfly got stuck in Cat's ear?" Sinjin asked
"Oh I remember that. We had André's grandma get it out by yelling." Cat says
"When did that happen?" Trina asked
"When Tori and I were trying to set Jade up with someone else so Beck can date Meredith." André replies
"Yeah don't mention that name ever again, okay." Jade said
"You're still mad about that?" Tori asked
"What do you think?!" Jade yelled
The doorbell rings
"Ding dong!" Cat yelled
"It's open!" Tori yelled
The door opens and Robbie's sister named Ally walks in and sees Tori, Cat and Jade
"You!" Ally yelled
"Hi." Cat said
"Don't hi me! Ally yelled
"Wait, why do you look so familiar?" Tori asked
"Hint, I was the girl Robbie sent to your house when you weren't allowed to use your phones." Ally said
"So it was a trick!" Jade yelled
"I feel like an idiot!" Cat yelled
"Thanks Ally. So much for secrets!" Robbie yelled
"You know there's no secrets in this family Robert!" Ally yelled
"Ha your name is Robert!" Jade says
"Hey Lane, they're fighting like they're back in high school." Sikowitz says
"Good times." Lane said
"Hey Cat, you want me to cook some of my famous meatballs?" Nona asked
"Yeah I love your meatballs." Cat replied
"Robbie, why would you send your own sister to trick us into using our phones?" Tori asked
"It was Beck's idea!" Robbie yelled
"Don't you dare bring me into this." Beck says
"I thought it was André's idea." Ally said
"No I said it wasn't a good idea but you chose to not listen to me." André says
"Tori, I thought you invited mom and dad?" Trina asks
"I did. They should have been here by now." Tori replies
Soon Mr and Mrs Vega walk in
"We're here." Mrs. Vega said
"Don't you knock?" Lane asks
"Why would we?" Mr. Vega says
"Yeah this is our daughter's apartment." Mrs. Vega said
"What took you so long?" Trina asks
"It takes forever for the dip to cook, sweetie." Mrs. Vega replies
"Plus when people like to be assholes and drive slow." Mr. Vega says
"So do you all have any New Year's Resolutions?" Nona asked
"Who the hell makes New Year's Resolutions?" Jade asked
"Nobody keeps them so it's pointless." Said Beck
"I tried making them illegal but it didn't work." Mr. Vega says
"Who wants to light some fireworks?" Tori asked
"But it's only 6PM." André says
"Yeah we got four more hours." Ally said
"I want to light fireworks." Trina said
"Of course you do." Sinjin says
"Where are you going to get fireworks?" Robbie asked
"I bought them off E-Bay." Tori replied
"But what if our neighbors call the cops on us?" Cat asked
"Cat I am a cop." Mr. Vega says
"Oh yeah right." Cat says
"Are you going to allow this?" Mrs. Vega asked
"Uh huh." Mr. Vega said
"I won't light any but I'll watch." Nona said
"You're missing out on the fun." Ally says
"I'll join you." Sikowitz said as he pulls out a coconut and drinks the milk
"You still drink coconut milk?" Jade asked
"Don't tell me how to live my life." Sikowitz said
"Better hope our neighbors don't tell the manager of this building about this." Trina said
"Tori said she's in Boston with her friends." Sinjin says
"Let's go!" Cat yelled
"Someone sure is excited." Nona said
"Last one outside is a rotten egg!" Ally said
"Who says that anymore?" Tori asked
Exterior shot to outside the apartment where Tori has set up some fireworks and hands some lighters to all her friends and family
"Okay who wants to go first?" Tori asked
"I will." Jade said
"Shocker." Beck says
Jade uses her lighter and lights a firework
The firework activates and it sets off a loud boom
"Wow that's a loud one." Lane said
"Alright Cat you're up." Tori said
"Yay!" Cat yelled
"Be careful Cat." Nona said
"You know she's 28 right?" Sikowitz asked
"Doesn't matter!" Nona replied
Cat uses her lighter to light the firework and it goes off blasting a purple light
"Oh pretty!" Cat yelled
"Nice job Cat." Robbie says
"Step aside, Cat. It's my turn" Ally said
Ally uses her lighter and lights 5 fireworks off at the same time causing a loud boom
"Try to beat that." Said Ally
A montage shows the gang lighting off their fireworks
"Wow this is so fun." Mr. Vega says
"Fells so good to finally do this." Said Trina
Cat's phone starts ringing as London is requesting to video chat
"Hey London how goes it?" Cat asked
"Cat I wish you were here in Boston. The weather is so nice." London replied
"We have better weather too." Robbie says
"Didn't Boston just get a bad snowstorm last week?" André asked
"Yes it did!" Zack yelled in the background
"And it's still cold here!" Cody yelled
"Uh do you boobs mind? I'm on the phone! Some people are so rude!" London yelled
Another firework goes off
"Are you guys lighting off fireworks?" London asked
"Uh huh." Cat replied
"But it's only 9PM." London said
"London it's only 6PM over here." Robbie says
"Well still it's early." London said
"Who cares!" Jade yelled
"London come on! They're passing out the drinks!" Bailey yelled
"I'm coming! Just give me a minute!" London yelled
"Well we don't have all night!" Cody yelled
"I mean we do but they don't." Maddie says
"Ugh Cat I got to go. I'll talk to you later." London says
"Okay bye London. Don't drink too much." Cat said
"No promises." London said as the call ends
Flip scene cuts to the gang back at their apartment
"Well that was fun." André says
"I got to admit, I was not looking forward to lighting them off but holy shit that was fun." Nona said
"Just hope we didn't piss the neighbors off." Mrs. Vega said
"Who gives a damn?" Jade asked
"Yeah why are you even worrying?" Sikowitz asked
"We don't even live here." Lane said
"But our kids do." Said Mr. Vega
"I doubt they would care." Trina says
Everyone starts drinking their wine as Cat turns on the TV
"Hey there's twenty seconds left until 2023!" Cat yelled
"Already?" Sinjin asked
"How long were we lighting fireworks off?" Beck asked
"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Happy New Year!" Everyone yelled
"Finally it's no longer 2022!" Jade yelled
"Cheers!" Tori yelled
They all drink more wine and a montage begins with them getting drunk
8 hours later, everyone has collapsed and sees that due to them getting drunk, Jade and Beck somehow stole a painting from the museum, Cat and Robbie's clothes are torn apart, Ally's hair has changed from brown to blonde and Trina has a new tattoo of a rose on her hand
"Ugh what happened last night?" Tori asked
"Why does my hand hurt so much?" Trina asked
"Why are our clothes torn apart?" Robbie asked
"And why do we have this painting from the museum?" Beck asked
"You all went crazy and had a montage." Sikowitz replied
"I HAVE A TATTOO ON MY HAND!" Trina yelled
"And my hair is blonde now!" Ally said
"Actually I like it." Trina says
"You're in big trouble now." Mr. Vega said
"David!" Mrs. Vega yelled
"We didn't mean it." Beck said
"Crazy shit happens when you're drunk." Jade said
"I'm kidding. But you two better return that before it's too late." Mr. Vega said
"What a great day to start off the new year." Robbie said as part one comes to an end
