DAY OF ELECTRO'S ATTACK:
Barry was looking over the juvenile records for Allegra when Jorge Heart came over. "Hey, Barry. What's this?"
"Looking over some things for Cecile." Barry explained to him and came across the one for Esperanza. "Now this is interesting."
"What?" Jorge asked.
"Party's been looking into these people with a symbol like this." Barry said and showed the photo that had a clip on that looked like the Black Hole people. "I think we've found something."
That's when Electro's power outage went and took the prescient down.
"What the hell?" Jorge asked as he walked out and looked down over the balcony and saw a Esperanza here for a fight.
"Bring me Allegra Garcia. Or burn!" She tells them.
"Freeze!" Jorge demanded as he drew his gun, earning a giant blast from Esperanza that sent him flying back into the wall, head first.
"Jorge!" Barry cried as he ran over and checked for a pulse. But the burn was too much for him...
Barry then heard more gunfire and saw Yuri was already in action. "Get the hell out of my prescient!"
Barry then quickly sped down and used his ring to form his suit around him before he reached down and saved Yuri before going to fight this girl.
"I am Ultraviolet!" Esperanza introduced herself as before fighting off Barry and the others came in.
PRESENT DAY:
Cisco Ramon and his son, Armando Ramon, we're taking a walkthrough the forest, just as a stroll. Which is something neither of them wanted to do.
"Why are we doing this again?" Armando asked his dad as he tracked through the woods a little behind his dad.
"Your mother thought it'd be a good idea, good chance for us to bond." Cisco admitted why they were doing it, being completely out of breath. "I deny that conclusion."
"Seconded." Armando stated before getting to the bedrock of the question. "Are we lost?"
"No, we're not lost." Cisco stated as they made it to a giant clearing. "See? We made it to a picnic area?" He then dropped the bag off his back and sighed. "Five minutes."
Armando sighed in relief as he walked over to a leave pile and leaned back, expecting to flop against some soft leaves and a few twigs and branches.
But sadly, that wasn't the reality.
When he leaned his head back, Armando smacked his head against something hard and metal. "Ow!" Getting back up, Cisco walked over to see what happened. "What the hell?" He then started to move a few leaves to see what he came across.
"You good?" Cisco asked when Armando removed enough leaves to get something from the metal. "What?"
What they discovered was something underneath that looked like a pod. In fact, it looked eerie similar to another few pods that they know about.
"Uh...dad, is that...?" Armando tried to find the words for it but couldn't see to.
"Looks like it." Cisco commented as he reached into his shirt and pulled out a phone before mapping their coordinates. "But it can't possibly belong to-"
Before he could finish that thought, he was smacked backwards by something strong. As well was Armando, but he was lucky enough to land in the mud whilst Cisco hit his head against a log.
Armando got up and looked to see some blonde with short hair and messy clothes that looked like they were fished from the dumpster.
"Who the hell are you supposed to be?" Armando asked her, crawling back on his knees.
The blonde who didn't answer and immediately flew over to attack. But it turns out that Armando has a few tricks up his sleeve as he turned the dial on his watch, causing it to immediately transform into two giant mechanical arms that covered his hands and sent out giant Vibe-blasts that sent the stranger flying backwards.
"Yeah, that's right!" Armando stated as he got back up, ready for a second round as glasses resembling his dads from his Vibe days morphed over his eyes. "You just got Mecha-Vibbed, sucker!"
The girl seemed unimpressed as she then got back up and revealed to have glowing red eyes, ready to fire off.
"Oh, god!" Armando cried as he then turned around and blasted a portal open and quickly grabbed his waking father and ran through the breach right before the girl blasted out laser eyes just as the portal closed.
Seeing she was alone; she flew off and took to the planet's atmosphere before stopping to look at the view. Once there, she pulled out a small necklace around her neck that had a very, very similar symbol.
The House of El.
A FEW DAYS AGO:
A few apartment buildings away, a blonde girl was looking out the window with her pet chameleon when the storm passed over and the lightning bolt came in and zapped her, sending her flying back, and hitting a safe in the room.
As the blur kept flying back, the safe started to glow and something hit the girl, causing something to change inside of her.
PRESENT DAY:
That girl was Maggie Nelson. Daughter of Officer Nelson.
Due to the attack, Maggie was hospitalized, her father having no idea what happened to his daughter. After a day of rest, she started to wake up and groaned.
"What...what happened?" Maggie asked.
"We'll, look who's awake." The Doctor tells her. "Glad to see you're finally back in the land of the living."
Maggie then started to focus her sight, but to her surprise, she wasn't exactly seeing things like she would normally. Instead of sight, it was like she was seeing things from heat.
"What?" Maggie asked, talking about her sight, but the doctor thought she was talking about her condition.
"You were struck by lightning it seems." The Doctor informed her. "At least, almost. You got hit by the backlash of it."
"What does that mean?" Maggie wondered.
"Seems to me nothing. We just plan on holding you for observation for the next few days." The Doctor said before looking to the door. "Oh, your father's here."
Maggie then saw her dad come in and the doctor leave. "Hey, honey."
"Hey, dad." Maggie greeted her dad as he leaned down and pecked her head. "What happened?"
"Oh. It's been a crazy few days, honey." Officer Nelson informed his dad as he sat down. "Some alien came in on a surfboard, altered the weather around the world. And then there was an attack at the prescient while there was a new Electro attack. Then just this morning, it seems Sandman escaped his prison."
"Wow, I missed a lot." Maggie commented and groaned when she felt her head spin.
"Doctors say you were gonna be okay. You sure you're okay?" Nelson asked his dad.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Maggie promised, lying through her teeth.
"You're not acting okay." Nelson said, worried for his daughter.
"Are you saying I'm a bad actress?" Maggie asked, shocking the two of them as her voice was replaced with her own father's.
"Whoa!" Nelson was shocked to hear. "Those acting classes are paying off, Huh?"
Maggie was shocked at what that was and covered her mouth. "What?" That time, it came out as her own voice. "How did that happen?"
Then when she looked back to her dad, she suddenly saw through his skin, blood, all the way down to the point she could see his DNA. Pure DNA.
"Listen, I have to head back to work, but I'll check in later, okay?" Nelson promised her and pecked her head. "See you later, dear."
"By, dad." Maggie said as her dad left.
Then, trying to stand up, Maggie looked around and when she looked at herself in the mirror, she was shocked to see that she looked like her father.
"Gah!" Maggie cried as she slipped and fell, only to get up and look to see she had turned back into herself. "What...what's happening to me?"
Back at P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries, Ollie and Tina were working on their newest attempt at the gauntlets for the suit.
"Okay." Ollie said as he placed a camera down for the two of them to be in the film. "This will be gauntlet pulse test, 37 Alpha."
"Let's hope it doesn't end up like test 27." Tina commented and looked to where there was a scorched mark on the ground and a table burnt straight through the middle.
"Well, everything in science is always trial and error." Ollie defended as he got ready to go. "Two second burst at 800 volts." He then aimed his gauntlet up towards the targets that were just some clown dummies Tina found in storage. "5...4...3...2...1!"
Ollie then went to fire, but the webbing inside the canister and gauntlet to explode, sending webbing over Ollie's face.
"Gah!" Ollie cried as he grabbed it and tried to pry it off his face. "That didn't end well."
Tina couldn't help but chuckle a little. "I think we should figure out how to modulate the stress-energy tensor, so that when the webbing hits air, it becomes a solid instead of exploding in your face."
"Yeah, I think that's a right way to go." Ollie agreed and took the gauntlet off. "I think we should give the weapons a break and focus on the other problems." He then walked over and showed off the back of the suit, showing the four metallic arms. "I was hoping to maybe get a look over the Octavius arms, but...they were swallowed up by a black hole."
Tina sighed as an idea formed in her mind on a way to help him out. "I might have something. But you can never reveal this to anyone."
"What?" Ollie asked.
"Turn around for a minute." Tina asked as Ollie did what she asked.
Tina then walked over to a part of the wall, showed her badge off to the secret scanner that was hidden. Then came an eye scanner, which she got past with ease, and the final one being a finger scanner that she got past again with ease.
"Okay, you can look." Tina assured Ollie as he turned and saw a secret elevator.
"Uh...where does that lead?" Ollie asked. "No offense, but I've been told never to get into a strange elevator with a woman."
"Just get in." Tina said as she grabbed and dragged him into the elevator. "You're gonna be the only outsider to see what's in this vault."
"I will leave this vault, right?" Ollie asked, a little nervous.
"I promise, you'll walk out with all four limbs, your head, your body parts all attached." Tina promised, assuring Ollie as the doors slowly closed. "Well, you might lose a toe or finger."
"What?" Ollie asked, just as the doors closed.
What Tina didn't notice however was that they had an unexpected visitor outside the window using cloaking technology to hide herself.
The Black Cat was there, and she saw everything. "Ooh, now that looks like an interesting find..."
Tina and Ollie then reached the bottom of the vault that reached even below the surface of the building. Looking around, Ollie as shocked to see several dozen cases with bulletproof glass that was five feet thick.
"What is all of this?" Ollie asked Tina.
"The most dangerous weapons in existence." Tina stated as she walked through the floor, causing the cases to rise and show off what they're containing.
One of them contained the fishbowl helmet and costume of Mysterio.
Another held the armor and horn of Rhino.
Shocker's gauntlets and suit were incased in another casing.
The mask and suit of Chameleon.
The wings of Vulture.
Suit, glider, and formula of the Hobgoblin.
The Symbiote of Venom.
Turns out in a post-Crisis world, Peter never found a way to destroy the Symbiote, and considering that he was contained, Peter never found a reason to find a way in the vault to destroy him.
Also, he designed some of the cells to be completely inaccessible to the point even he can't get inside it. Just as long as the Symbiote stays in its case, inside the bigger case, everything will be fine.
Then Tina stopped against the first cell which was optional to open that held a familiar device inside.
The arms of Dr. Octopus.
Ollie walked over after taking a bit of time to see all of the gadgets he's seen from the sidelines and was shocked at the arms. "I...thought the black hole swallowed the arms. How do you guys have them in a vault?"
"Because the arms that were taken came from Doctor Otto Octavius." Tina explained to him and opened the arms casing. "This belonged to his twin sister. Doctor Olivia Octavius." Once the casing was open, she took out a chip from the arms' pack and tossed it to Ollie who struggled to catch it.
"The Dr. Octopus that Supergirl and Iron-Spider fought in National City?" Ollie asked, a little surprised that they gave the arms over to the company, not knowing they knew each other through their masks.
"What's this for?" Ollie asked, failing to see its importance.
"That's what she used to control her arms, similar to how Otto did." Tina explained. "You wanna create a suit to save lives. Then that's what you'll need. The arms also have an AI, but you wanna stay away from that, otherwise you'll create a weapon that'll turn your mind against you like it did with those two."
"Noted." Ollie confirmed with a nod and looked over and he swore he saw a face in the alien goo. "Uh, can we get out of here? I'm feeling like that thing is watching me."
"Because it is." Tina informed him as she strolled past, making Ollie do a doubletake after hearing that.
Looking closer, the Symbiote then sped at the wall of its casing, scaring Ollie as he immediately ran out of the safe and into the elevator with Tina.
Outside, the sandstorm was making its way through the city and was heading for an armored vehicle carrying loads of cash.
The sand landed on top of the vehicle and started to take shape as the driver noticed it and turned to the guards in the back.
"Hey, we've got something on the roof!" He warned them when suddenly the ceiling came crashing in San and a bunch of sand to follow. The guards and driver were incapacitated due to the sand and the vehicle started to speed up due to it crashing down on the pedals.
Tommy was luckily in the area as he went swinging and landed inside the hole made by their madman.
"Jigs up, Sandman." Tommy stated when the criminal turned around, revealing to not be, Flint Marko, Sandman. In fact, it's a...girl? "Sand...Girl?"
"You don't wanna do something you'll regret, pal." Sandgirl warned him.
"Listen, lady, I'm the sheriff around here. So if you wanna do something stupid, you gotta deal with me." Tommy warned her.
"Fine with me." Sandgirl guessed as she went in to punch him as Tommy dodged it and punched her in the stomach, but it ended up going through her.
"Right. Sand." Tommy commented on his own account as the girl made her fist into a giant hand and punched Tommy out the door.
Tommy then was sent flying down the street and immediately started using his powers of ice to freeze the road and shot two strands of webbing at the truck and leaped into the air where he saw the Sandgirl was on top of the vehicle and started shooting icicles to slow her down.
But that didn't end quite well as Sandgirl just absorbed the ice when Tommy landed on the roof and did a spin, taking our Sandgirl's legs, literally. Taking the money and throwing it back into the truck, Sandgirl punched Tommy with a hammer fist and sent him flying again.
Tommy shot a web, sending him across the truck when he was smacked into a bus before banging into the side of the truck again, only then to be smacked by the hammer again.
To,my then looked and saw there was the two guys trapped in the sand and saw they were gonna crash into a parked truck. Working fast, Tommy grabbed the two of them and pulled them out of the truck before shooting a web around them before the crash sent him flying.
Tommy quickly made it back out of the truck and saw there was no sign of the Sandgirl or the money anymore. Getting away from the scene, Tommy swung and landed on the side of a building before removing his mask and the sand came flying out.
Sighing, Tommy took off his boot and kept emptying it. "Where do all of these people keep coming from?"
Anjelica was still working on trying to pry her friends free as her strength is deteriorating the longer she's chained.
"Come on. Come on." Anjelica whispered to herself and started to rip her hands free of the chains.
Then her senses went off and she saw her mother and father land in front of the warehouse. And they had the Phantom Projector with them.
"No..." Anjelica whispered.
Peter and Kara walked through the doorway and held the projector. "Where's Super-Arachnid?" She asked them, ready to annihilate them all.
"First things first. Bring the projector here." Banshee demanded.
Kara and Peter looked at one another before tossing the projector. Biogeneral went to catch it when Arachnid's senses went off and before she could say anything, the shield came flying and Morg'Ann caught the shield as it returned.
"Give up now." Morg'Ann demanded as J'onn, Gwenyth, Brainy, Alex, and Nia came in.
"Where is she?" Alex asked as she took out a gun using her suit. "Don't make us ask again."
Biogeneral then shot a red sun grenade that Kara tried to dodge, but it went off too fast and affected Kara. Morgan tossed her shield at her doppelgänger who raised her wrist and revealed to have a retractable shield that folds up.
"What?" Morgan asked in shock. "Her shield folds up? Why can't mine do that?"
Down the hall, Anjelica was getting free when a puddle of water came swirling towards her. The metal started to come into form and revealed to be Cessily.
"Hi, girl. Miss me?" Cessily asked as she then used her finger to go into the chain and released her. "Let's get out of here."
"Wait, I need to help my folks." Anjelica stated as she sped down the hall.
"Wait...I was told to get you out of here." Cessily sighed and ran after her.
Kara still had some strength and was happy to use it to grab Morgan's doppelgänger and toss her into the wall.
But then her ears were met with a gigantic screech. She grabbed her head and held her hands there as Banshee let out an ear piercing scream.
"I've been waiting a long time for this." Banshee said as she walked over and punched Kara in the face. "Don't worry, we'll let the kid go. Once you're dead."
Then Peter came in and smacked her away with his arms. "Sorry, I need that wife. They're hard to come by when you reach fourty."
"Really?" Kara asked, a little loudly as Peter helped her up.
"You have no idea how long I've been wanting to use that." Peter confessed.
Nia was fighting off her own doppelgänger, both of them apparently thinking the same way as one another. Nia created a shield when Nightmare opened a portal and a shark came through. But Nia opened her own portal and sent it to the dream realm.
"Okay. That's a new one." Nia commented.
Biogeneral was trying to get his suit functional again when Morgan tossed her shield again and pried his mask off before kicking him away.
Sadly, she didn't notice that the Phantom Zone Projector was there as he picked it up and aimed at Kara.
"Bye, bye, Supergirl." Biogeneral said as he got ready to shoot.
But Anjelica sensed something when she saw that they were aiming at her mom. "Mom!" She quickly sped over towards her and pushed her out of the way just as Alex shot Biogeneral and he shot off a blast.
The blast reached over and hits Anjelica. The team were forced to watch as she was pulled and vanished.
"No!" Kara cried.
They were helpless to help as they were forced to just stand and watch as Anjelica was pulled into the Phantom Zone. Cessily made it back over, but was too late as she saw they had won the battle, but lost Anjelica.
At the Daily Bugle, Peter was walking through the very halls that he once worked in. It was bizarre for him, as once he walked through these halls in fear of what lie or conspiracy Jameson would make up about him, now he wandered through as a successful science major with his own company.
As he walked through the halls, he bumped into a familiar face. Norah Winters, a reporter that he worked with as her photographer back when he used to work there.
"Norah, wow." Peter greeted her.
"Peter!" Norah cheered as she gave him a hug, which Peter returned. "Wow, look at you. No longer that scrawny kid that used to take pictures for Jameson, huh?"
Peter laughed and chuckled. "No, definitely not. Got several kids at home, a wife, and a few dozen other things. What are you doing here?"
"Well, I'm actually the one interviewing you." Norah informed him. "You and Joseph."
"Really? Did Robbie put you up to it, or-"
"Don't worry, I volunteered. Mostly to see you again." Norah admitted to him as she started to walk off. "We miss you around here."
Peter smiled and started to walk away when he noticed Tina was also in the hall of the building. "Tina?" He then walked over and stood in front of her. "What are you doing here? Thought you and Tommy were looking for Sandman."
"Uh..." Tina looked almost confused by that and looked around. "Yeah, Tommy's still looking into it, I thought I'd come by and see you."
"Aw, that's nice of you. But it's gonna get pretty boring pretty quick here." Peter warned her and scuffed her hair a little. "I'd get out of here fast."
"Sure." Tina guessed and Peter went on his way to get ready for the interview as Tina just stood there.
Once Peter got ready, he went into the room added to where they would be led for the interview where he saw McCulloch Tech's owner, Joseph.
"Mr. Parker." Joseph greeted Peter with a smile.
"Mr. Carver." Peter greeted him. "Nice to finally meet."
"Wish it was under better circumstances." Joseph stated. "You know, we'd love to have you as our partner."
"Sorry, but your schedule and tech doesn't align with mine. As we will be discussing today." Peter apologizes as they saw they were getting called in.
Anjelica gasped awake as she panted in fear and saw the sky was dark, the ground was even darker.
"Where…Where am I?" Anjelica asked. "Am I dead?"
"No." Someone said, shocking Anjelica as she began to sit up. "But you will be unless you calm down."
Anjelica was seriously confused when she looked up and saw someone standing over her.
"Who are you?" Anjelica asked as she felt her neck and realized she was missing her mother's necklace.
"As if you don't know." He stated as Anjelica tried to get off the ground to fight. "You bear the glyph of my house." He stated as she hoped he took her necklace. Anjelica shot a web and took the necklace back from the stranger. "So you're some sort of figment of my tortured mind."
"This belonged to my mother." Anjelica stated as she put the necklace back on. "How could it be your house?"
The man then turned and looked at her confused by that statement and was shocked. "Your mother? What was her name?"
"Kara Parker." Anjelica answered.
"Kar?" He asked in shock before looking closer. "You...you look like her."
"Like who?" Anjelica wondered, feeling a little confused.
"My daughter. Kara Zor-El." He answered, shocking Anjelica as she started to understand. "Wait...if she's your daughter, and I'm her daughter...doesn't that mean you're...my grandfather? Zor-El?"
"And who are you?" Zor-El asked.
"I'm...Ahn-Gel. Anjelica Parker. Daughter of Kara and Peter Parker." Anjelica answered with a chuckle. "I have a feeling we have a lot to discuss."
