Ashley, after giving the helmet to misty, then looked and saw that she had the DNA samples of Peter Parker, Caitlin Snow, as well as the gear and retracted glider of Hobgoblin.
But she already had someone who was interested in all of this as that's why she took the time to also take it.
YEARS AGO:
Peter was currently on the Central City bridge, a few weeks before the particle accelerator would change his life. He was in the middle of fighting off a million drones at once, due to a villain of his: Mysterio.
Beck was working on his illusions to the point that they created monsters all throughout the city that nobody could tell if they were real or not.
But Peter and Ronnie were able to pin him down to the bridge and knew if they took out the creator, they'd be able to take down the entire system.
Quickly dodging the drones as fast as he could, he got shot a few times, but it was nothing he couldn't shake off. All the drones came flying and shooting Peter as he took shelter behind a barricade of cars that ran into each other.
"Ronnie, tell me some good news!" Peter pleaded as he tried to think of a way out.
"Well, the bad news is the illusions are causing damage everywhere. But good news, Beck is on top of the bridge." Ronnie reported in.
"Well, I'm trying to get to him, but I can't shake these drones!" Peter declared as he decided to use the current car to his advantage as he shot two strands up in the air and then connected them to the car, causing it to slingshot into the air, followed by Peter using the car as a jump point.
The car hits the ground and causes an explosion as Peter lands on the higher point of the bridge, but then he was met with even more of the drones as he ran away from them, shooting fire at him in the process. Swinging away, he was met with more explosions, and even his suit being light on fire.
Shooting several strands in the wiring, he created a net that stopped the drones, and he swung underneath the bridge in order to take out the flames.
"After this is over, we're gonna need to make some repairs." Peter said as he swung and grabbed onto one of the drones. "Going up!"
He then made his way back to the top of the bridge and shot several drones, creating a network of them (Ha!) and then created a slingshot eith his webs to drag a dozen drones down at once and landed next to Mysterio on the roof.
"This ends now." Peter tells Beck as he stood proud and tall.
"I couldn't agree more." Beck said as Peter went to shoot, but his shooters were empty, and he used the last of his containers to get down here. "Out of webs?"
"Just give me the fishbowl." Peter demanded.
"You want this?" Beck asked as he gestured to his helmet with the controls of the drones inside. "Come and get it."
Drones then flew ins no created the illusion of a dark room. But Peter knew exactly what to do as he closed his eyes and ran through them all, his senses heightening over the years whilst these drones are just the newest form of his holograms that he started off with when the two of them started off.
Punching Beck in the face, Peter grabbed the helmet and looked down at him. "It's over, Beck."
"Well, I guess you're right." Beck said as he did a quick tuck and roll off the side of the bridge.
"Beck!" Peter cried as he ran to stop him, but Beck fell and landed in the ocean. Knowing he can't jump in after him due to not having any webbing left, Peter was shocked to see what he had chosen to happen instead of going back to prison.
Looking down at the helmet in his hand, Peter was at least happy to say the nightmare was over as all of the drones and illusions began to shut down without their controller.
"Ronnie, we need a safe place to store this thing." Peter said as he looked down to the helmet of Mysterio.
Peter and Ronnie then used the safe in Mercury Labs to keep the helmet out of sight, and never to see the light of day again. A few days later, the police found the suit, but there was no sign of a body.
That was the last anyone had ever seen of Quinten Beck.
PRESENT DAY:
Tina was making it inside of STAR Labs when Tommy ran over and hugged his sister.
"Whoa!" Tina cried in shock as Tommy kept hugging her.
"I was so worried!" Tommy stated.
"Yeah, I can see." Tina suddenly realized this was the first time she interacted with her brother after her sudden arrest. "So, I miss anything?"
Tommy rolled his eyes and patted his sister's shoulder. "Come on." He said as he led her to the lounge and saw Violet, Tina, Armando, Karen, Dawn, Tula, and Daniel waiting to see her.
They were happy and hugged their friend as she was surprised to see Karen as they've yet to be introduced.
"Who are you?" Tina wonders.
"I'm Karen Staar. But I was known as Kara Jor-El." Karen introduced herself to Tina.
"Jor-El?" Tina repeated to make sure she heard that right. "Like Uncle Clark?"
"Yeah. As I'm told." Karen nodded in confirmation.
Frankie then made it to her parents' place and was still on the phone with someone.
"Well, that sounds great. I'll see you Monday." Frankie said as she hung up and saw Caitlin working on something. "Hey, what's happening?"
"Working on some treats for the twins' birthday party coming up." Caitlin explains, explaining why she was alone, and why the twins were gone. "Aster's out with that girl Carrie."
"Ooh! Boy's first crush." Frankie got seriously interested in the conversation.
"He's not the only one." Caitlin said as she placed the treats in the freezer. "I've been noticing Tommy with our new fish friend."
"That Aquagirl?" Frankie asked, surprised but also not surprised. "Yeah, I'd see that. Did you also notice Tina sneaking off to P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries to hang with that Ollie guy?
"Hey, as long as they don't become like your father, I'm okay with whoever they wanna hang with." Caitlin stated with a defensive look.
"How so?" Frankie wondered.
"Your dad was a bit of a ladies' man back in the day." Caitlin admitted to her. "I mean, I've been with him for like three relationships before me and him got to me, but after over ten years with him, I'm sure there's still a dozen people he's dated I don't know about."
"Hm." Frankie shrugged.
"Who were you talking to?" Caitlin wondered.
"The owner of the shelter, who sold the building to McCulloch Technologies." Frankie answered.
"What for?" Caitlin asked her, getting interested in this.
"I...offered him a lot more then McCulloch did." Frankie answered, shocking Caitlin.
"You bought the shelter?" Caitlin asked.
"Yeah, and now I'm actually going to be able to actually get off the streets again." Frankie explained.
"So, you're gonna run a homeless shelter, and keep your job at the school?" Caitlin asked, not seeing Frankie's plan here.
"Actually...when the semesters over, I'm gonna leave." Frankie admitted. "I feel like I can help more people here than at the school."
"What? I thought you liked your job." Caitlin was only getting more confused.
"Yeah, I liked it." Frankie admitted. "But...these people need my help."
Caitlin smiled at her wording and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, you're definitely the daughter of Peter Parker."
Frankie smiled and saw she understood her reasoning and was happy about it.
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Ollie was testing out the newest features of his suit, making sure everything was functional and stopped for a moment and sat on the freeway and made a call out to Tina.
"This is Tina Snow-Parker, leave a message and a number- I'm just kidding! If I care enough, I'll find you."
"Hey, Tina, it's me. Just wanna say, thanks for your help. The suit works out pretty great." Ollie said as he kept dangling his legs. "I know I said I wouldn't take it out on a test run just yet, but...I was a little impatient. But the suit works out pretty well. I mean, it got you out of police custody. Okay, not really. Anyway, I was wondering if you wanted to meet up? I'm free whenever, so when you get this message doesn't..." That's when his suit early alert system went off and Ollie started to stand and look around to see where the threat is coming from. "Uh, so just call me back when you can. I gotta go!" He then hung up and looked around to see where the alert was coming from.
Looking down to the lower freeway, he noticed there was people running and screaming. Quickly dropping down, using his suit's durability to catch himself, it felt like nothing when he reached the lower highway.
Leaping on top of the nearest car to get a better view of what's happening, Ollie was shocked when he saw that part of the road was caving in.
"Oh my god." Ollie said in shock and gestured behind him. "Everyone, get off the bridge!" He called out to the whole bridge as everyone was running to escape the cave in.
Running over to evacuate the cars that crashed into one another, Ollie was alerted on something and turned to the cave in to notice something was coming out of the smoke. And it was something that Ollie immediately recognized.
A tentacle.
The metallic tentacle came crashing out of the smoke and grabbed onto a taxicab and dragged that down before another tentacle came up grabbed another car, dragging that down as well.
A third then came out of the cloud and embedded itself to the ground of the bridge. Then a figure started to come out of the cloud followed by the other tentacles making their way out, finally followed by a figure in the middle of all four of them.
The figure was wearing what looked to be a steel armored suit with goggles almost exactly like those that he saw in P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries with the arms. That's when he looked closer and realized that those arms don't look exactly like the Otto arms but are indeed the exact same arms.
The woman had her long red hair put up in a ponytail and grinned as she looked over to Ollie. "Hello, Spider."
Ollie looked around, as if suspecting that she was referring to another Spider based hero on the bridge. "Uh...hi?" He just went with and raised his hand to give a friendly wave. "Am I supposed to know you?"
"We've been waiting a long time for this." Carolyn stated with a large grin and used one of her arms to stab inside one of the nearby cars and tossed it at Ollie. "Catch!"
Ollie shrieked as he jumped out of the way and tried to pull his thoughts together as he hid behind one of the cars. "Okay, this girl's insane. And how did she get the arms?" He then came out of hiding, just for another car to come in faster than his system could register it for him, and he was sent flying off the bridge.
Looking inside the car, he noticed that there was a family still inside when it was tossed. Working fast, thinking faster, Ollie shot a web to the bridge, remembering when Spider-Man did something similar when the Lizard first came into the picture. He then attached it to the back of the car before ripping off the doors of the car and helped get the family of three back to the bridge.
"Okay, you good? Okay, go!" Ollie tells them as he then got an early alert (Only by a few decimal seconds) as he was grabbed by one of the tentacles and wrapped up to come face to face with Doc Ock 2.0 (Or is it 3.0? 2.5?).
"You think some fancy new suit is gonna save you?" Carolyn asked with a snarl and shoved Ollie into a truck and then tossed him across the bridge, causing him to hit a sign and making him ricochet off and into a UPS truck.
"Well, those packages aren't making it on time." Ollie quipped.
"Don't worry, your little lady friend will get a slow, agonizing death after I'm done here." Carolyn promised him, still believing this to be the original Spider-Man.
Ollie though misheard that as a threat on Tina's life, making him become increasingly furious as he activated his legs, all four of them ripping through the roof of the vehicle. Climbing out of the truck, Ollie was ready for a fight this time around.
"What was that?" Ollie asked her.
Carolyn was surprised by the arms, only knowing of the Iron-Spider having arms like that. Her arms seemed just as shocked as one looked to Carolyn and another became claw dropped (Which is like jaw dropped, but they have no jaws).
"Looks like we have competition." Carolyn told the arms.
Ollie then leaped down to fight her off, doing a mid-air flip over as he landed just as Carolyn swung one of her arms at him, immediately getting blocked off by one of his arms.
Ollie then did a quick spin and blocked off every one of her attacks in the process and did a back flip to get away. Quickly getting an opening, Ollie leaped and tackled Carolyn to the side of a car and punched her.
But before the punch could land, Carolyn grabbed him in the chest, sending Ollie flying over the bridge. Ollie caught himself and made his way back when she grabbed a pipe and tossed it at Ollie. He then immediately leaped backwards and grabbed onto the side of the bridge.
Carolyn then climbed down, and Ollie tried to go in for another attack when he was grabbed in the back and slammed into the bridge, going straight through. Carolyn then brought him back to her and smiled.
"I've finally accomplished something that Octavius never could." Carolyn stated as she ripped out his arms' power source, also taking out his chest piece. "Now you die."
She then sent a claw with a spear in it at Ollie, immediately reacting by covering his chest by using his mask Nantes, only for him to groan as his chest still felt the force. But that also got Carolyn shocked as she dragged him closer to her.
"You're not Peter Parker." Carolyn finally noticed.
"I am very confused right now." Ollie admitted, no idea what's happening.
Carolyn then felt something off and looked to the arms. "What's wrong?"
Getting confused, Ollie suddenly got a connection to the arms due to their closeness. "New device detected."
"No! You put Bluetooth on those things?!" Ollie asked in shock and immediately got to work.
"Pairing new device." The voice in his suit said as Ollie watched as he was beginning to take control of the arms.
"You don't listen to him; you listen to me!" Carolyn demanded as Ollie waved his arm, causing the arm she was talking with to do the same.
"Ha, ha." Ollie chuckled as he got the other arm to repair his suit with the nanites, curtesy of Palmer Technologies, that P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries was able to get a hold of.
Carolyn tried to hit Ollie when his mask was suddenly fixed, causing her to hit the mask instead of his face.
"Oh, this is too good." Ollie stated with a smile under the mask.
Carolyn groaned and caressed her now injured hand as she was then dragged to the top of the bridge. Ollie then used the tentacles to wrap her up, keeping her prisoner.
"Okay, so how about we actually have a conversation about this whole tentacle situation?" Ollie asked, finally ready to get some answers. "And what's with this whole thing about Peter Parker?"
"I was looking for Spider-Man!" Carolyn growled in anger as she looked over his suit. "Instead, I got...this."
"You got the Steel Spider!" Ollie stated, giving his official name to the villian. "Now, as I was saying. What does Peter Parker have to do with Spider-Man?"
"Peter Parker is Spider-Man!" Carolyn informed him with a snarl.
Ollie looked to her like she's crazy and laughed. "What?" He laughed even harder to the point he grabbed his knees. "Peter Parker? Ha! You mean the guy who runs the most powerful company in the world? The guy with a family of three? And you think that what, in his spare time he's running around as the...web...slinger?" He then started to get another alert system off of his suit and wondered what was coming.
Then he saw something small, so small that if you blinked that you would miss it, bounce off the sign. It was a small golden bomb that then bounced off the hood of a few cars before rolling down the street.
Then it was followed by an explosion that blew up several cars in the process, causing an even bigger explosion. Both Carolyn and Ollie to jump back in fear as they watched someone emerge from the smoke.
They watched as maniacal laughter filled the air, followed by a figure emerged from the smoke. Revealing a figure wearing an armored mask, an orange hood and matching shirt, along with blue pants that looked like they were built on scales. As well as a belt with a bag that had more of the bombs inside. He laughed at the sight of the two, scaring them even more.
Even scarier, Ollie recognized the suit, and armor.
Hobgoblin.
"I beg you, tell me he's with you." Carolyn pleaded with Ollie.
"I was hoping he was with you." Ollie was hoping, thinking he was some small villian like she was.
The said villian then flew at them, ready to attack with another bomb when a breach opened up below each of them and they fell inside of it.
Ollie, even Maggie, and Carolyn fell through the breach and fell feet first into an opening. Looking around, Ollie was shocked when he saw he was staring at the heroes of the city, minus Metalla, Wade, and Crystal. Her day to keep watch on Chester.
"Cool suit." Ralph commented.
"What...the...fu...?" Maggie couldn't even think as she was looking around the room.
"Wait. Am I...am I in the secret headquarters of the Flash and Spider-Man?" Ollie asked as he then removed his mask and squealed as he looked around. "Oh, Schwyz! I'm in the secret headquarters!" He then looked a little disappointed. "I imagined a lot of more webs or web like things. Or at least some spider vehicles."
"Those are in the garage." Armando commented.
Tommy then smacked his hand, only ended in him injuring his hand. "Ow!"
"Updated my armor." Armando stated with a smile.
"I hate you." Tommy stated.
"You're both acting like children." Tina told her brother and friend/(Kinda) cousin.
"We are children." Daniel stated as he looked at them.
"He's right." Ralph agreed with his son.
"You're in the simulation room." Peter explained as he looked to the kids. "Superlady, Mecha-Vibe, take the Lady Ock to the pipeline."
"Not my name." Karen stated, still brainstorming an idea between the kids about what to call herself.
But they then took the new Lady Octopus and brought her to the pipeline for lockup. Barry then sped in and looked disappointed.
"I didn't find anything on that guy with the glider." Barry was sorry to say.
Peter sighed as he rubbed his head at the thought of the Hobgoblin gear on the loose. At least Iron-Spider is out of the dimension to the point that he won't know about it.
"Okay, then let's get some information out of here." Peter said and looked to Ollie. "What did you see?"
"I was really only fighting off Lady Octopus." Ollie explained as he gestured to wherever they disappeared to.
"Hmm. Lady Octopus. I like it." Cisco commented.
"And then when I took her down, a bomb went off, and then Hobgoblin flew down. Next thing I know, I was falling." Ollie said as he gestured to the ceiling where he fell from.
"Hey, I was doing as I was told." Armando said as he returned.
"Did she say anything?" Barry wondered.
"Only that she believed Peter Parker is Spider-Man." Ollie said with a chuckle. "I mean...how ridiculous is that?"
Everyone then looked over to Peter who sighed and saw the secret was out. Reaching up, despite the protest of the others, Peter pulled and ripped off his mask in front of Ollie.
Ollie looked and was completely shocked that both Peter Parker and Spider-Man, both of his heroes, were the same person.
"What?" Ollie asked, no idea how to respond anymore.
"Yep." Peter sighed as he placed his mask on his hip. "I'm Spider-Man, kid."
Looking to his kids, all of them started to see what he was asking and started to reveal their faces to him.
"Tina? Tommy?" Ollie asked in shock.
"We have a lot to explain." Tina could see.
"Hi?" Maggie got her voice heard. "Where am I?"
"This the girl?" Peter asked Tina.
"Yep, that's the shapeshifter he found." Tina confirmed.
"Cisco, quickly run some tests while we explain everything to Ollie." Barry asked of his friend.
"Sure." Cisco said as he created a lab inside the simulation room and brought Maggie over to the table.
Downstairs in the labs, Chester started to finish being cleared of the black hole and once the system deemed him safe, Gideon let him out.
Gasping for air, Chester started to look around and saw where he was, and he was finally free.
"What up party people?!" Chester cried out to the empty labs, expecting someone to come out. "Uh, hello?" He called out in a singsong voice, wondering everyone was. "Where is everyone?"
Looking around the room, he picked up a small web grenade.
"Chester P., my brother, you have a multi-billion-dollar bleeding tech facility all to yourself." Chester took notice of and brined as he laughed.
Making his way to the cortex, he did a little dance as music played from the speakers. After his dance party, he made it to Tina and Tommy's secondary labs they keep around and picked up a new type of grenade.
"Ooh, is this a sub-zero temperature hand grenade?" Chester asked as it started to bleep.
Freaking out, he dropped the grenade and jumped as it indeed went off, sending a wave of cold and freezing the floor and part of the table.
Quickly working on the computers, he took a look and was shocked at what he found there.
"They have a multi-rigged private global satellite surveillance system?" Chester asked as he saw they were connected to the P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries personal satellite system.
Then when he tried to look into his personal life, his emails, bank accounts, all of them were disabled. When he decided to look it up, he was shocked when he saw he was dead.
"Uh-oh." Chester said in shock.
"Uh-oh." Someone says as he turned and saw that Crystal was holding some takeout food and was shocked to see he awoke.
"Crystal Frost." Chester said in shock.
"This is the last time I trust Wade with anything." Crystal muttered in annoyed anger.
