MONTHS AGO:

Ashley was sitting around the parking lot of Central City high school, watching as kids were being picked up by their parents. She knew she had to watch and wait for the bus from the orphanage to come to pick her up.

Growing up, she always wondered why she was left at the orphanage. Did her parents not want her? Was it something she did? If so, what could she have done?

That's when Carolyn Trainer came up and sat next to her. The two sat in silence for a moment as Ashley figured she was waiting for her bus.

"Ashley Moon." Carolyn started the conversation, getting Ashley's attention. "Born to unknown people, left at an orphanage days after birth. Growing up feeling insecure of yourself, feeling like your questions could be answered if you knew who you were, and why you can do what you can."

Ashley then looked over to Carolyn, having never told anyone about her power of luck, and wonders how she knows it. "Who are you?"

"The better question is...who are you, Ashley Moon?" Carolyn asked her back.

"I don't know who I am," Ashley said as she looked down at her hands.

"Yes, you do," Carolyn told her. "You're the girl that's always being abandoned."

Ashley looked up to her in anger, just about ready to use her luck on her. "Maybe they had good reason to abandon me."

"You think this charm power is a curse?" Carolyn asked her with a smile. "Just like your hair, it's genetic."

"You're saying my parents were mutants?" Ashley asked as Carolyn looked at her with eyes saying she was telling the truth and Ashley couldn't believe it. "How do you know?"

"Because I know who they are," Carolyn said. "You're the daughter of Black Cat. And I know who your father is. But you won't believe me without proof."

"And what do you want from me?" Ashley wonders.

"I want you to get me the proof you need," Carolyn answered. "And your mother's costume."

NATIONAL CITY:

Brainy was making his way through the streets leaving a bakery with a gigantic package. He dodged and avoided people in an over-the-top way to the point it was kinda unnecessary.

"Eagle One, the package is in hand," Brainy said as he made his way through the streets and was heading to the tower.

"Return to the Tower, immediately. The Golden Sleeper is stirring." Lena informed him.

Brainy then crossed the street and when he made it out of eyesight, he flew off and quickly returned to the Tower balcony.

"Am I late?" Brainy asked when Nia took the package from him. "Did I miss it?"

"Nope. Right on time." Morg'Ann assured him as she placed the package down and opened it to reveal a donut-covered cake, specially made for Anjelica.

She and her mother just love donuts, something Peter has yet to understand.

"The cake is intact." Gwen was happy to say.

"Where's Anjelica?" Brainy wondered, due to the fact he was rushed he figured she would be awake by now.

"She's still healing with Peter and Kara by her side," Heather informed him as she came out, back in her casual attire. That being her dragon-scaled outfit.

"Making it through the Phantom Zone took all of her strength," J'onn added on, happy things could at least now get to their sense of normal.

"You told me the clock was ticking," Brainy informed Nia and Lena, unclear of that.

"Uh...we thought you'd eat the cake," Nia admitted, a bit ashamed.

"What? Of course I wouldn't. What am I? An animal?" Brainy asked them. "I would never! I want things to be perfect for when Super-Arachnid wakes up."

"Let's not rush her," J'onn warned them. "Hopefully she's having the first restful night she's had in a while."

Kara and Peter were sitting side by side of Anjelica as she rested. Kara looked over and saw her father resting under the sun lamps and couldn't believe all of this. She went into the Phantom Zone to save her daughter and walked out with her daughter, and her father.

"I can't believe it," Kara said as she caressed Anjelica's head as if she was going to vanish. "I can't believe she's back."

Peter however was falling asleep in his chair as, even though he had all night, Kara didn't exactly let him sleep a wink. She was a little overjoyed to have her daughter back.

"Yep, you've said that for the past fifteen hours, honey," Peter informed her, falling asleep on his chair.

"How are you so tired?" Kara questioned, as even though they got the same amount of sleep, she was more awake than he was.

"The hickeys on your neck, not clarification enough on why I'm so tired?" Peter questioned, earning a grown as they looked down to Anjelica who tried covering her ears.

"The second I come home; this is what I get welcomed home to?" Anjelica asked as she turned over and covered her ear. "Please, toss me back to the Phantom Zone."

"Sorry, Specks," Peter said as he went in and pulled her in for a hug. "We crushed that machine, and your mother scorched the pieces."

"And for good measure, had Brainy scour the dust across the planet," Kara added in as she joined in and hugged her. "Oh, I've missed you."

"Missed you guys, too," Anjelica said as they squeezed harder to the point that she can't breathe. "But I like breathing more than hugs!" They didn't seem to be letting up as Peter squeezed harder. "Can you let me go now?"

"Give it a minute," Kara asked of her.

Anjelica groaned and just gave in and let her parents hug her.

CCPD:

Caitlin was currently stuck in meta-handcuffs and stuck listening to Kristen Kramer gloat about herself.

"I can't believe that this is happening." Caitlin scoffed. "You can't hold me here because of a phone call."

"No, you're right. But we had a nice time looking around your home and found an assortment of objects." Kristen commented and showed photos of Peter's tech he keeps around the house. "Wanna explain these?"

"That's my husband's equivalent of binging work home with him," Caitlin informed her. "You don't have anything to link me to Crystal Frost, and when that DNA test comes back proving I'm not a metahuman, I hope that will be enough."

"Oh, no that's just procedure," Kristen said, getting Caitlin very confused. "Thanks to Mecha-Vibe, we know powers can be duplicated with the help of technology."

Caitlin saw she was right and was gonna slap Cisco for giving his son that name. Should've called him Vibe Jr. or something.

"My husband's not going to take this lightly, you know," Caitlin warned her.

"Well, what's he going to do? He's the head of the company that's set up around the world. I don't think he's got time to worry." Kristen stated with a smirk.

That's when the door forced itself open and Matt came walking in, giving Caitlin a reason to smile. "Caitlin Snow. Stop talking." He then dropped his case on the table and turned to Kristen as he started to open the case. "Hi, get those handcuffs off my client and get the hell out."

"Who the hell are you?" Kristen asked, wondering where the security is.

"My name is Matthew Murdock. I'm Caitlin Snow and the Parker family's attorney." Matthew informed her, looking to Caitlin and she knew Peter was going to come back with a bite.

"I'm not releasing a dangerous criminal," Kristen informed Murdock. "And how did you get here?" She knew the Nelson, Murdock, and Paige were stationed in New York.

"I was given a lift from a friend in the Parker family," Matt said as he showed a file he dropped on the table in front of her. "Crystal Frost saw she was framed and knew someone would think she and Mrs. Snow looked alike, got into contact with Mr. Parker." He then showed another file he had and slid it over. "And this is the file on the day Caitlin Snow took a sample of Frost's DNA, witness testimonies and everything, proving they're not the same person."

She opened it and it indeed showed that Crystal and Caitlin were talking on the day Frost and Spider-Man gave a sample of their blood to see if their regenerative powers could be used as a cure to save others.

"And this..." Matt then tossed another file on the table. "Shows me that you are holding Caitlin Snow on the charges of Crystal Frost that she was discharged of years ago. Ex-Captain Joe West is a friend of mine, and informed me of when Savitar was defeated, Frost came and asked to be discharged of all attempted murder and kidnappings as that was her undercover to stop the monster from killing them. Spider-Man, Flash, HR Wells, May Parker, and Tracy Brand went on record revealing all of the statements are true. P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries is currently looking into the breakout themselves along with the CCPD, as they believe this may be related to the new shapeshifter or copycat that's recently put Tina Snow-Parker in this very room."

Kristen looked back and forth between Caitlin, Matt, and the files and couldn't believe how fast she was just debunked and her whole case against Crystal Frost was thrown into question. Even Caitlin didn't consider that point he made of Tina and her shapeshifter, but she didn't consider her suspect seeming she's stuck with disguising herself as Tina instead of anyone else.

"So, either you remove the handcuffs and discharge my client from all charges you have claimed on her and Crystal Frost," Matt demanded as he stood with his cane raised. "Or we can countersue you for false imprisonments, or maybe go further and we can add endangering a disabled child by leaving him alone until his family made it home?"

Kristen saw they actually could easily do that and finally bent. "Fine."

NATIONAL CITY:

After she felt ready, Anjelica was led to the main room of the Tower where she was immediately met with her aunts and uncles coming over and cheering.

All of them came up one by one to hug her, all happy to see her again, even Cessily was happy to have her one friend back as she hugged her.

"Glad to have you back," Cessily tells Anjelica.

"Great to see yours still around," Anjelica said as she patted her back, earning her accidentally going through her Mercury skin. "Right."

"Hey, at least I have better control." Cessily shrugged.

Anjelica then went over and hugged J'onn. "I wouldn't know what we would have done if we didn't get you back."

Anjelica went through everyone else and heard their praise for seeing her again when she then came up to Heather.

"So, the infamous Anjelica," Heather said with a smile. "Your mother talked a lot about you."

"She did?" Anjelica asked.

"Yeah, when I almost lost my own child," Heather admitted and patted her shoulder. "She's around your age right now I believe." She then thought of something and smiled. "Something tells me the two of you would be great friends."

"Maybe next time you visit you can bring her along," Kara told her.

"Speaking of which..." Peter said as he held up the breaching device. "Ready to go home?"

"Yes." Heather sighed in relief. "Who knows what trouble my husband has gotten to in the days I've been gone?"

"If it even was days," Peter replied. "For all you know, you're leaving minutes after you left."

"True." Heather supposed and turned to the others. "See you during the next crisis."

"Don't jinx us," Peter warned her and opened a breach.

CENTRAL CITY:

Barry and Peter were currently using all the tech they had available to them and all of their resources to search all of Iron Heights to find out who and what did this to frame Caitlin and why.

"Two guards attacked by Crystal claims say they were attacked by a sudden blizzard that came out of nowhere," Tina said as she looked around where the 3D hologram, provided by BB-8, of where the guards were shot at. "And she was standing here."

"Yes, we've been over this," Armando said as he was sitting in a chair and watching Tina go over the scene as Tommy and Cisco were walking around with a sensor. "What are we looking for exactly?"

"Anything to help," Tommy answered.

"When cold powers are used, they give off a certain signature," Cisco said as he was using the signature off of Frost's past scans to link it to the current pattern. "This pattern is different from Crystal's."

"Wait." Peter stopped Tommy and took the scanner. "I recognize this."

"Really?" Cisco asked.

"From where?" Barry was curious to know.

"Years ago." Peter tried to explain. "Ronnie and I were dealing with the monsters we called the Fake-Elementals."

"Fake-Elementals?" Daniel asked.

"Elemental monsters that were created by illusions to give off the idea they were real." Peter tried to explain. "Hydro Elemental, Fire Elemental, Earth Elemental, and Ice Elemental."

"I thought those were real," Cisco said.

"You're thinking of Hydroman, Moltenman, and Sandman." Peter corrected him and looked at the tablet. "This is the same signature as the one that it gave off for the ice Elemental."

"So...who cast the illusions?" Ralph asked. "You kinda skipped over that."

"Mysterio," Peter answered and rubbed his head. "But he's dead. At least, by now. We only found his helmet and torn-up remains of his costume in the lake, which only worked for his DNA. We tried to destroy it but learned he has drones out there, everywhere, that if the mask is tampered with, they will blow up the city. Searched for them for years and I know there's still a hundred at least out there. But what we did find, the helmet, drones, and costume, were locked in the Parker Vault for the past ten years."

"Until my evil clone doppelgänger whatever stole it," Tina added, disappointed in herself.

"Hey, there's nothing you could've done." Tommy comforted his sister. "This isn't on you."

"Feels like it is," Tina added.

"So, who could it possibly be if not Mysterio?" Ollie asked.

Cisco then looked at the footage the satellite was able to pick up and was shocked. "How about his daughter?"

"What?" Everyone asked as Cisco showed them the enemies all meeting up, but due to the angle, they didn't notice the photo they were all looking at.

"Misty?" Peter asked in shock. "Misty is the new Mysterio."

"Black Cat," Tommy growled at the photo.

"Mayhem." Tina noticed her Symbiote possessed clone.

"Lady Octopus." Ollie felt a little out, so he just went with the one he fought.

"Sandgirl," Violet commented.

"Electro." Tula recognized.

"The bad guys have teamed up?" Karen asked.

"Or have they always been working together?" Armando asked, looking shocked.

That got all of them to question who exactly is behind all of this. Except Peter...only one villain could be this calculative on his moves. But it couldn't be him, he's dead...isn't he?

NATIONAL CITY:

After the party rained down, Peter, Kara, Anjelica, and Cessily made their way home for the night. J'onn was having a long Icer due conversation with their friend the Silver Surfer whilst Morg'Ann, Gwenyth, and Nia were called into an emergency fire.

Gwen was the first to arrive and noticed it was scientific research for McCulloch Technologies that was on fire. Making her way inside, she shot the fire extinguisher over to her to put out the flames nearby.

Rescuing as many people as she could, Nia used her powers to break open the side door for Morgan to make it in to help get the people out, as well as the others that were trapped.

"I think that's everyone." Nia was happy to say when the fire department showed up to keep the fire down.

"Good," Gwen said when her senses went off, causing her to look back to the fire. "Wait. Somethings coming."

"What is it?" Morgan asked as she raised her shield for protection.

"No idea," Gwen admitted when they watched something making its way out of the building, using the smoke as cover before smashing into both of the fire trucks.

"What?" Nia asked when the two braced for impact and Gwen stopped the fire truck from falling over.

Whatever came charging out of the facility rammed Morg'Ann and Nia as they used the shield to take most of the damage before getting tossed around. Gwen came in swinging and webbed the two of them before they could hit the ground.

When they looked to see who it was that attacked them, what they saw was an extremely tall (towering over most people) and incredibly muscular man. Much of his body is covered in a gray armor suit designed after a rhino, which includes two metallic horns on his helmet that light blue optic lenses and covered in red platting all over his armor.

"Rhino?" Gwen asked in shock.

"I thought Aleksei Sytsevich was cured," Morg'Ann replied.

"He was," Nia added on.

"Then who the hell was that?" Gwen wonders.

CENTRAL CITY:

Carolyn led the others into her secret headquarters where she had been stationed. There, they saw the Black Hole symbol and readings on the location on Killer Frost, Hobgoblin, Godspeed, and someone else only identified as "Cable".

"Whoa." Mayhem complimented. "You've been doing well for yourself."

"It's not mine," Carolyn said as she gestured to the machine.

"Welcome." A voice called from the computer. "I see you all are here for the same goal."

"Slightly different." Ashley corrected him. "Some want revenge, others want answers."

"And you will all get them in due time. In a day, Tina and Tommy Snow-Parker will be in for a surprise for their birthday. This family will be destroyed. And the six of you will be there to draw him out."

"Aster Parker?" Francine asked. "Why him? Who are you?"

"I am not the man I once was, but I am indeed Otto Octavius." The Living Brain said as it showed the footage of Otto and Spider-Man fighting. "And to answer your question, my dear, he has untapped power that has been forced down for years...it's time for it to be unplugged."

(A/N) That's right! HR is still alive! In this world, he's Harry's twin brother post-crisis. He's just always on book tours, so he's never really around like Harry is. Harry is like an uncle to them, but HR is not someone they see often. He's that one uncle who doesn't see or know you but sends expensive gifts.
