Guest - Not a bad thought, but right now Aster is currently on his own. He feels he's a threat to his family (sorta like how Caitlin thought the same in season 3) and needs to sort all of it out before coming back to them. His family is out looking for him as they speak (and if you recall he's actually Frost's kid, and she's cool with Wade) but he is staying as far as he can be right now. He won't come back until he feels he has this situation under control.
CENTRAL CITY:
Tina stood in an open field while looking downward in sadness.
"It's been a while since we last spoke, I know," Tina tells the person she's referring to. "But I need to talk to you."
Looking down, she was talking to the tombstone of May Parker. Tina sighed and kneeled to place her knees on the grass.
"Dad...he did something that I don't think I can forgive," Tina confessed as she started to cry. "The woman who murdered you...she's...our half-sister." She then wiped the tears away. "I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I hate her. She took you away from us. Dad said there's a reason, but I don't see anything that he could say to lead to him being okay with raising her."
Tommy then came walking up behind her and sighed, knowing what she was doing. "Figured I'd find you here."
"What do you want?" Tina asked.
Tommy walked over and pulled his sister close so she could rest her head on his shoulder. "Just came to check on you. I know things have been..."
"Weird? Odd?" Tina listed how things have been. "The woman who tried to kill us and flirted with you is our half-sister that dad had with Black Cat."
"Yeah, I tried to forget that whole flirting-with-me thing," Tommy commented, earning a chuckle from Tina.
"Don't make me laugh." Tina pleaded with him.
"Ashley's going to be a part of our lives now. We need to accept that." Tommy tried to help his sister. "We need to at least let Dad explain why he took her in. You never let him explain."
Tina sighed, knowing that she didn't want to but he deserved at least that. "Where's April?"
"Dad took her swinging to try to find Frost," Tommy answered.
With Carrie, after locating Aster and knowing that he was okay for now, she knew she just needed to give him space and he'll come back. Releasing that story about Aster saving her life helped his street cred a little. But then that's when she got to her home when a blast of mist stopped her.
Turning around, Carrie noticed that it came from Louise Lincoln who was standing there with a smile. "Trouble with your door?"
Carrie cried in terror and tried to run away when Killer Frost grabbed her and smiled. "Now, dear, I need you. My wedding needs a flower girl."
GOTHAM CITY:
Terry was currently having an upside-down on a magnetic structure above the transport with the gas being loaded on. He looked down at the transport and saw it was a futuristic plane that could travel anywhere in the world in under an hour.
"Sooner we get this transport out of here, the better," Powers commented. "They haven't found our little trespasser yet."
That was just when security seemed to notice the man wearing all black hanging upside down. "There he is!"
Do you think that'd be easier to spot?
Terry released the grip on his boots and free-fell, allowing his cape to activate and save him. As they kept the open fire on him, Terry was able to glide and escape all the blasts and even tackled them.
He then landed and saw Powers, leaping and landing right in front of him. "You're out of business! And for you, Fixx, I'm-"
But before he could make his next move, one of the workers smacked him with a piece of moving equipment. Fixx then tried to aim at him when Powers stopped him.
"Get that hovercraft in the air!" Powers demanded him.
Fixx ran off to do just that while Terry saw his time was running out to stop it. Getting back up, he used the boots to get out of the way of the equipment before creating two more batarangs to toss at the controls.
That caused the man to jump out to dodge the attack and Terry to get a view of Powers closing the bay doors and pulling a gun. Terry sneaked off and picked up one of the canisters, thanks to the suit's strength. He picked it up and tossed it at Powers, just when he opened fire on it. The canister exploded, just as a mask formed over Terry's mouth to keep the gas out.
With Powers out of commission, Terry blasted off to take down Fixx and the shipment. He used a grapplehook to latch onto one of the wings before using claws to stick to it. Once he landed on the plane, it was just a matter of opening the doors to see an empty seat.
"What?" Terry asked when his lenses flashed, alerting him of danger.
Terry then turned around when Fixx came in and punched him with electrical knuckles. Terry was sent flying and smacked into the window of the plane, but his suit managed to keep him safe as he got back up. When looked up, Fixx was going in for another hit when Terry grabbed his fists to stop him from going at it again.
"You're pretty strong for someone who thinks he's Batman," Fixx commented while also insulting him.
"I AM Batman!" Terry declared as he kicked Fixx into the controls, causing the plane to crash into the water.
Once the vehicle started to fill with water, Terry's suit turned into a water-compatible suit that allowed him to escape. Leaving Fixx down to a watery grave with his batch of chemicals.
Kate watched Terry fight and take down the plane and saw that he was a natural in that suit. Looking down at her knee, she knew there was only one thing that she could do to help all of this.
"K8-T3. Send a message to Peter Snow-Parker." Kate asked as she looked down at her droid. "Tell him...I might have a replacement in mind for his Young Justice initiative."
CENTRAL CITY:
Frost was looking around the area where Aster was spotted saving Carrie and wondered where he could have gone. She was walking around and wondered where he was staying. He wouldn't have gone around from here to somewhere else.
BD-1 also turned off his tracker, making it even more difficult to find him. "Where did you go?"
"I'm right here." Someone said, causing Frost to turn around and see Godspeed standing there. Frost jumped and shot a beam of ice out at him, only for Godspeed to zoom past and grab her by the neck. "You're needed for my wedding..."
"What?" Frost choked out in confusion.
Back with Barry and Dawn, he was running out for breakfast for his family and Tula, who had been staying with them since STAR Labs exploded. But as they were running, the road started to freeze and they slipped, running into a wall.
"The two speedsters," Lincoln commented as the two tried to get back up. "Just who I was looking for."
Back with Godspeed, Tina and Tommy were swinging their way home and ran into Peter and April. They were all answering Frost's distress signal that was set off earlier and wondered what was happening.
"Hey." Peter greeted his kids. "You two okay?"
"We're fine," Tina assured him. "I'm sorry how we left things."
"You reacted how I expected you would," Peter assured her as they looked around.
"Where's Frost?" Tommy wondered.
That's when all of their senses went off and wondered where it was coming from. Just then, Peter was sent flying into the wall.
"Dad!" All three of them cried when their senses went off again.
But before any of them could react, their bodies were sent flying everywhere as Godspeed stood amongst them.
"Now it's time for a wedding." Godspeed commented.
"Just one more person is needed," Lincoln replied as she strolled over to him. "The Prince of Ice."
At P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries, Ollie was fixing up some errors on the suit after the battle with the Syndicate to make up for some of the mistakes. While he was working, someone entered the office causing him to look over and was shocked to see it was Aster and BD-1.
"Aster?" Ollie asked in shock to see him back. "Wait." He then backed away. "It is you, right?"
Aster rolled his eyes at his reaction and knew where he was coming from. "I deserved that. You're fine. I have everything under control."
"Okay," Ollie said nervously.
"I came here looking for my family," Aster admitted. "They weren't home."
"What?" Ollie asked in shock.
Just then, Caitlin came running into the room and looked to see Aster. "Aster?"
"Hey." Aster greeted her as Caitlin pulled him in for a hug.
"You've learned to control it?" Caitlin asked.
Sub-Zero then came out and smiled. "We worked out our problems."
"That's good to hear," Caitlin said and looked to Ollie. "Have either of you seen anyone else?"
Ashley and Tula then came running in and looked at Aster. "Oh, hey, you're back."
"Hey." Aster greeted her.
"Everyone's been kidnapped," Tula informed them of the problem at hand.
"What?" Everyone asked her.
"Cisco called and said that their beacons have been turned off and everyone is missing," Ashley explained to them as the screens started to glitch. "They don't know where they are."
"Found them." Zero pointed out, gesturing to the screen.
They all looked to the screens and saw all the heroes have been kidnapped and were handcuffed in a church. "Hello, Central City!"
"Frost." Ashley scoffed.
"It is my wedding day!" Frost boasted out to the world as they noticed as she spun, all their friends and family were handcuffed by power dampeners. "And all of Central City's finest heroes are invited! But...there is one more on the list. Not the Steel Bug."
"Steel Spider," Ollie muttered. "I need a better agent."
"I mean the Prince of Ice I have heard about. But I've heard he's become a bit shy." Frost commented as she showed the alter. "So, what do you say, Sub-Zero? Think you can make it to the altar? See you soon." She then gasped. "Oh, and if you get cold feet..." She then showed that she had Carrie amongst them.
"Carrie!" Aster/Zero cried in shock and fear.
"You have one hour," Frost warned him. "Don't keep me waiting at the altar..."
They all looked around in shock. "We gotta save them."
"I'll get my suit ready," Ollie promised.
"I'll get my suit," Ashley said and Caitlin took off the handcuffs so she can use her powers.
"I'll get my trident," Tula said and raced off.
"Well, looks like we're going to a wedding," Aster told Zero.
"Ooh, will there be canapes?" Zero asked.
"You bet your ass," Aster said with a smile.
NATIONAL CITY:
Lena was looking over the still rising Silver Surfer as he seems to somehow be getting weaker than before.
"Something's not right with you," Lena commented as she looked over her notes. "What's changed?"
Then the elevator opened up and she saw that it was Anjelica and Roberta coming back from a day of superheroing.
"Oh my god, that was epic!" Roberta said as she tossed the shield up and caught it. "This thing is an epic weapon."
"Yeah, you're getting the hang of that thing," Anjelica replied and saw the time. "I gotta get going, make it back to my family. Those two could be born any minute now."
"And I'm preparing the base for the delivery." Lena lets herself be known.
"Great," Anjelica said before flying off.
"Man, I wish I could fly," Roberta commented.
While they were talking, the screens in the room started to glitch and they looked to see the message from Frost only just now.
Ashley made it home to see Peter trying to comfort Kara as she lays on the couch carrying the two kids inside of her. Peter was laying on the couch, rubbing Kara's sour feet after a day of resting in bed. The two are becoming more active as they're ready to come
"Ugh, how much longer?" Kara asked in pain.
"Until they're ready to come." Peter sighed as this wasn't the first time that she asked this.
"Nothing yet?" Anjelica asked.
"Soon," Peter promised when his senses went off. "Huh?"
Kara then gasped when she looked down and saw her water had broke. "Peter!"
"Oh, god!" Peter cried as he jumped up, looking at Anjelica. "They're coming!"
"We gotta get her to the Watchtower!" Anjelica tells her.
"Yeah, you're right," Peter said as he picked Kara up and walked outside before taking to the skies in his suit.
"Oh, god, I'm gonna be a big sister," Anjelica said as she took off towards the Tower.
CENTRAL CITY:
At the cathedral, Frost was walking up the aisle while the entire cast of heroes was held down and forced to watch.
"This is the weirdest thing to ever happen to us," Peter admitted to Barry, the two of them stuck on the groom's side.
"And that's saying a lot given everything we've been through," Tommy admitted, stuck in the row ahead of his father and uncle.
They also had a pastor kidnapped and scared for his life next to August. As Frost reached him, she had a small bouquet in her hands.
"Dearly beloved." The pastor started, still terrified for his life if he didn't do this. "If anyone objects to this union, speak now or forever hold your peace."
That's when the doors slammed open and they saw Sub-Zero, back in his uniform. "I object to this union!"
Steel Spider and Tula came over and looked down at Aster. "Did you really say that?"
"Oh, god I did." Zero confessed in shock.
"Dad's jokes are rubbing off on you already," Ashley said with a laugh as she joined them.
That's when Godspeed sped away and came back in his uniform. "There you are, Ice Prince."
Sub-Zero ironically froze at the sight of the speedster and shrieked. "Oh, hell, no!"
With that, he morphed back into Aster, leaving him confused and scared. "Uh...what's going on? What are you doing?"
"This is much worse than I thought!" Zero cried in fear. "That is a speedster! I signed up to fight an evil cold metahuman, not an evil speedster!"
"Okay." Aster supposed that's a good point.
"We should leave immediately."
"What?" Aster asked.
"Carrie will get over it. We never liked her anyway! Congratulations to the happy couple!" Zero said as he controls part of Aster's arm to raise it and gesture to the doors. "We are leaving!"
"Hey!" Louise called him out. "Are we doing this or not?!"
"I'll be right with you," Aster promises before turning around to see the three of them had already taken off to fight Godspeed in the shadows. "Look, you need to come out right now. Because I am feeling seriously vulnerable right now."
"Nope!"
"You need to come out right now!" Aster led to begging him. "And I will let you kill everyone! You can kill them all!" He then gestured to the priest. "Apart from the guy in the robe. You can't hurt him."
"You promise?"
"I promise!" Aster promises as Zero then came back out with a giant grin. "Thank you!"
Godspeed was about to speed at Zero when Tula blasted him with a wave of water that set him on the fight with Steel Spider and Aquagirl while Ashley used her powers on the cuffs. A breach opened for Armando to come through and rescue the team.
"Fight back, you idiot!" Louise tells Godspeed.
"Marriage trouble?" Zero asked her. "Already?"
"Shut the hell up!" Frost said as she raised her hands and blasted icicles toward him, but Zero dodges and blocks them.
"Time to die!" Zero declared as he created two veils of ice mist in his hands.
"That's the spirit!" Aster cheered.
Zero then stopped and looked away. "I mean us. We are going to die!"
As that was going down, Ashley walked over to Tina, and she wasn't happy to see her. "I can handle this myself."
"Sure," Ashley said sarcastically. She then looked down at her handcuffs, allowing her powers to take control and cause them to break. "Get out of here."
A breach opened up and Armando dragged her through it to allow her to get her strength back.
Godspeed went over and tried to punch Steel Spider when he jumped, leaping over the speedster, and started shooting strands of webbing to where he was running to. With the speed he was going, Godspeed didn't even register the webbing that incased his feet.
Tula then used her water abilities to encase him in a ball of water so he can't go running off.
Louise then sent a mist of ice his way, only for Zero to blast the mist at the ground, allowing him to take to the skies and shock everyone at his power. Frost sent another blast of mist at him, allowing Zero to do the same, creating an ice cloud in the middle.
As that was happening, Zero came through the mist and fell while creating an icicle in his hands, allowing him to impale it into her shoulder.
"That's for messing with our family." Aster/Zero commented with a snarl.
just then, the doors barge open, and they saw the police arriving and saw the enemies were already handcuffed and waiting for them when they arrived.
NATIONAL CITY:
While that was going on, Iron-Spider and Supergirl were out of commission after Kara had finally given birth to the twins. It happened a while as they were watching the news of Sub-Zero, Aquagirl, and Steel Spider.
"I mean, it wasn't much of a challenge for me. I mean, I feel I did most of the work." Steel admitted.
"So, you have been showing up around the places." The reporter told Steel. "What do we call you? Arachnid Metal?"
"I'm the Steel Spider!" Ollie cried in annoyance. "That name shouldn't be this difficult. I need to fire my agent. If I, you know, had one."
Peter chuckled at that as he held baby Richie. "That's what you get for being one metal difference from me."
"That's what you're focusing on?" Kara asked as she was currently holding baby Astra. "Your son and daughter were just born, and you're focused on that?"
"Well, they have the same timing as Anjelica," Peter commented that their kids always come at bad times for the other city.
"We should stop by again and see how they're doing," Peter said, looking at his son. "I have a feeling they'll wanna meet the new additions to the family."
Kara agreed with that as she caressed her daughter's head while Anjelica sat down and fell asleep a while ago.
GOTHAM CITY:
Terry went back to his mother's place and hid the suit under his bed when he was awoken by his mother. Saying that they had company over.
To his surprise, it was Kate, not asking for her suit back but rather a 'job' working for her. While she is off her feet, she feels the city could benefit from a new Batman learning the ropes of the job.
And when she got better, he could still keep going at Batman while she kept her job as Batwoman.
At least...that's how things were supposed to go down.
After having the discussion, Kate was walking down the street with her cane when a forcefield encased her.
She looked up when a blinding light circled around her, causing her to become afraid and her entire body to be absorbed.
CENTRAL CITY:
"Well, happy to hear everything turned out fine," Ralph said, just getting back to Central City after visiting Starling for a missing person. "I gotta get to Joe's to pick Daniel up. Night."
But the moment he hung up, the light circled around him, and he was left being absorbed. But while also letting out a high-pitched scream while he was at it.
Aster was looking around their new home and had been informed of the new relationship that his brother and sister have gotten with Ollie and Tula. Frankie and Miles apologized for not being there to help, but F.E.A.S.T. has taken a lot of their time up. With all of them together, Peter even managed to explain Ashley's origins to them, and most of them understood why Peter took her in. Hearing it was May's advice that caused him to make up his mind, allowed Tina to at least give Ashley some breathing room.
"Gotta say, this is a big step up from our old place," Aster commented as he looked around.
"You can say that again." Zero agreed.
"We're happy to have you back, buddy," Peter told Aster.
"A little pissed at the icicle," Frost confessed to her son.
Sub-Zero then came out at that reminder. "Sorry about that."
"I've healed," Frost assured him.
"You should go and get your room set up," Peter said as their son left to do just that.
Caitlin came on over and hugged Peter from behind. "We finally have every one of our kids and family back under one roof."
"Yep. It's a miracle." Peter sighed in relief.
Tina enters Ashley's room as she was placing her suit on a stand to fix it.
Ashley sighed and looked at her half-sister. "Look, Tina I-"
"Listen to me. You might have everyone else here buying your...transformation. But not me." Tina said as she made her way over and came face to face with her. She crossed her arms as Ashley watched her eyes glow blue again. "So let me tell you something right now. You make one step backward, one slip-up, give me one reason to think you might hurt my friends and family...you won't have to worry about your redemption anymore. Because I'll make sure your redemption ends right then and there...Permanently."
Ashley didn't say anything as she knew she deserved that as Tina walks out and slams the door.
Ashley finally lets herself break down after hearing that. "I'm sorry..."
That night in the kitchen, Peter was cleaning the dishes when he sensed something coming. The heat started to rise in the house as he wondered what was wrong. His senses even went off when he turned around and shrieked at what he saw.
What he saw was a giant flame standing in the middle of the kitchen.
"Why am I not even surprised anymore?" Peter questioned.
"You're Spider-Man." The Black Flame stated to Peter.
"You're kidding me." Peter scoffed, figuring that the flame can talk. "I can't believe that this is my life."
"You were on the ceiling." The Black Flame said, confusing Peter. "What if you don't make it back?"
Peter then suddenly had a flashback to who said those words to him.
"Peter, if you don't seal off the blast, everyone in this city will die, including Cisco and Caitlin."
"Peter, we don't have time to argue about this! Now, promise me." Black Flame tells Peter, and he knew that there was only one person in the universe who knows about that.
"Ronnie?"
