CENTRAL CITY:

The next morning, Peter was looking around the kitchen and wondered if he saw the other day was real. Because he had no idea if it actually was real or not. Caitlin came walking in, everyone else already out and looking into the mysterious black flame when she spotted Peter wandering around.

"What are you doing?" Caitlin was afraid to ask him.

"You wouldn't believe me." Peter was saying when the flames suddenly appeared, causing them to jump in fear. "Never mind!"

"Peter..." The Black Flame whispered in an echo.

"Ronnie," Peter said in shock.

"Ronnie?" Caitlin asked in shock.

"Caitlin..." The Black Flame whispered, looking toward Caitlin. "Join in, help us, come together."

"How is this even possible?" Caitlin asked in shock.

"After everything, you really gonna ask that?" Peter asked her.

"Okay. Fair." Caitlin supposed.

"Not whole without you. Save us." The Black Flame said, neither of them knowing who it was talking to before disappearing and vanishing, leaving a confused couple.

"What just happened?" Caitlin asked.

"It's a little complicated." Peter sighed, knowing this was gonna take some explaining.

The rest of the team was in the basement of P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries trying to figure out what they were going to do against the Black Flame. They had poured over everything that connected all of the victims, but there was nothing to connect them.

"Johnathon Ohnn. Parker Destefano. Donna Winters. Frank Johnson. Stanley Mullen." Barry listed out all the names while he and Cisco were the only ones around right now.

"And now Janice Lincoln," Patty added to the list. "Still no connection."

Everything was in shambles since STAR Labs exploded, and they didn't have the resources they once had. Not to say they were limited, but without Gideon, they were back to alerts the old-fashioned way.

Cisco however was more focused on the robot that Barry brought and was trying to learn who sent it after Kate. "We still have nothing to link the victims?"

"Not really," Barry admitted to him.

"There has to be some connection," Tina said.

She and the other children of Spider-Man (They're becoming a league of their own) were also around and were waiting for their parents to show up. Since that whole ideal with Frost and Godspeed is over, there was nothing left threatening the city except for this flame. Frost was there, but just hanging around as Karen, Tula, and Armando were looking around for the flames.

Daniel was also out there but looking for his dad as nobody has seen him. He even took

"We still don't know what it wants," Tommy added just when Caitlin and Peter came in.

"It wants us," Caitlin answered.

"What?" Frost asked, all of them turning to see them enter.

"The fire showed up in our home," Peter explained.

"But why? What did you do to tick it off?" Aster asks.

"You want a list?" Frost asked her kid. "It goes back twenty years,"

That's when Cailin took a look at the list of people and eyed one of the victims. "Parker?"

"You recognize her?" Patty asked as Caitlin looked over the list.

"Yeah, she's my yoga instructor," Caitlin answered in shock.

"When did you start to take yoga?" Barry wonders, never hearing that she took yoga before.

"Since I was pregnant, and I had two kids who weren't able to stop kicking one another," Caitlin said as she eyed the twins, who just smiled. "But it seemed they quieted down while I'm flexing."

"Look at that, enemies to the womb," Tina stated with a smile.

"Anyone else?" Barry was curious to see.

"Oh, god, Grady?" Peter asked as he recognized the victim. "He and I went to the same college together; we were lab partners."

"Donna Winters and Stanley Mullen were at Jack's Diner when we went on our anniversary to New York." Caitlin recognized them.

"Janice Lincoln was the Beetle in the original timeline." Peter realized and saw someone else. "Oh, god...Ohnn."

"Who?" They all asked.

"The weirdest villain I ever fought...the Spot," Peter answered, the memories of Johnathon's fights being a pain in the neck. "He opened black holes sort of like Chester."

"Okay, but why is it targeting you guys?" Barry asked.

"It's Ronnie," Caitlin answered them, getting shocked looks from everyone after hearing that knowledge.

NATIONAL CITY:

The morning after the twins were born, things have only gotten worse for the Danvers after they heard Kate had been spotted getting abducted by a blinding light. Lena was looking into it, trying to figure out who on earth has the technology to hold onto all of the heroes and hide them.

"Shh," Kara said as she wandered into the living room with Astra. "Come on, Astra. Everything's fine."

Peter then started to make his way down the stairs, carrying a resting Richie in his arms.

"Come on, what's the matter?" Kara asked her daughter. "You don't have a diaper problem, you've eaten."

Peter placed Richie down in his crib before turning to Kara. "Want me to have a go?"

"Good luck," Kara said and passed her daughter over to him.

But to her shock, the minute that Peter had her, he just started to stroll around, and Astra started to calm down.

"Daddy's girl." Kara scoffed at Astra.

"You're not getting jealous of your own daughter, are you?" Peter asked as he placed the soothed daughter down into the crib.

"How are you so good with them?" Kara asks.

"I don't know, maybe I'm a natural nurturer." Peter joked, but then realized what he just said. His face turned from happiness to disgust. "Oh, god, did I make a dad joke?"

Kara tried her best not to burst out laughing as that's immediately what she thought. "Yeah, you did."

That's when the babies started to cry again, causing them to jump backward. The twins still weren't ready to sleep it seemed when Anjelica came in and heard the crying.

"Nope!" Before anyone could react, Anjelica took off running out the door and back to the skies.

"Should have known." Peter scoffed, knowing his daughter would never wanna be around her siblings while they were crying.

"What are we doing wrong?" Kara wonders as she laid her head on Peter's shoulder.

"We just need time to get to know each other a little better," Peter assured her as he pulled her close. "They were just born yesterday if you recall."

Kara hummed and knew he was right, but also knew that things were gonna be a whole lot worse than it was with Anjelica. They had all their friends and family on standby back then, but now all they have is each other.

CENTRAL CITY:

"Are...Are you guys sure it was Ronnie?" Barry asked, never one to doubt Caitlin and Peter, but that is a huge statement.

"We weren't sure at first," Peter admitted. "We were worried that it might be someone trying to mess with our heads."

"So, we decided to run some scans from our home to see what we can find," Caitlin said and plugged their findings into the small system. "This is cold fusion radiation, but these readings are 10-to-the-negative 28 watts."

"That's Hawking radiation," Tommy added. "You can only get radiation like that in a singularity."

"Ronnie died in a singularity..." Frost reminded them.

"The only way to close the inner and outer horizons was to sacrifice his life." Caitlin finished the story that they all knew for years. "But matter cannot be created or destroyed."

"Only morphed and turned into something else." Tina finished her mother's statement.

"So, you think that Ronnie's been alive and turned into a living fire?" Dawn asks. "That sounds kinda farfetched, even for us."

"Yeah, but why would Ronnie be killing all of these people?" Cisco asked, gesturing to the victims.

"Spot was the first villain that I and Ronnie took down together," Peter informed them. "All of these guys have a connection to us one way or another."

"He's been looking for us through them to try and help him," Caitlin said. "Maybe he needs it to survive to reach us, so we can help get him back to normal."

"But how can we do that?" Barry asks. "We can't recreate another Firestorm Matrix, can we?"

"Not with the equipment here in P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries." Peter was sad to admit as he stared at the blueprints Caitlin pulled up for the Labs.

"But maybe we can find the old one in the labs," Caitlin said.

"Okay, but even if we did, it takes two people to use the splicer." Barry reminded the two of them. "And we don't have any knowledge of space for wherever Ronnie came from to fix that situation."

That's when Peter frowned at the thought of not being able to help Ronnie when an idea came to his mind. An idea that allowed him to smile once more and knew it could work.

"I might know an aerospace engineer who might be up for the challenge," Peter said as he took out his phone and started to contact him.

"Who?" Frost was curious to know who he's been talking to.

"Someone who I met at one of my business conferences in New York," Peter admitted as he sent the email before putting his phone away. "I also...dated his wife in college."

"Is there anyone you know that you didn't date in some way shape or form?" Caitlin was curious to know.

Peter actually had to take a minute to think of the question and went through the list in his head. "Well...there was Lian Tang, who was also another partner of mine in college. Michelle Gonzalez was my old roommate, then after we dated there was Carlie Cooper."

"Let's not forget my mom," Ashley added her name to the list.

"Right, Felicia around the same time," Peter remembered. "Debra Whitman...who I'm pretty sure I turned insane."

"You have that effect on women." Caitlin mocked him.

"Ha," Peter said sarcastically. "Kitty Pryde in high school. I think Jessica had a crush on me."

"You only realized that now?" Dawn asked in shock. "I knew that for years."

"We all did." Everyone in the room stated at once.

"I've known for a while," Peter admitted. "Then there was Anna Maria when Otto was inside my body."

"That one doesn't count," Caitlin assured him.

"God, yet you people were surprised to hear that he had me?" Ashley asked in shock. "I'm surprised that you don't have more kids."

"So am I." Frost and Caitlin replied to that statement.

"Okay, maybe me and the rest of us can go find some scraps from STAR Labs that could be useful." Ashley offered and looked at her half-siblings. "What do you guys say?"

"I'm in." Aster shrugged. "Zero?"

Aster's eyes and hair turned white as Sub-Zero took control. "Hey, don't expect me to do the heavy lifting. Also, we were gonna meet Carrie, remember?"

Aster's eyes then turned back to normal after hearing that statement. "Oh, yeah! Sucks for you guys!" He then jumped off the chair and made his way out. "See ya!"

"He's getting the hang of the whole second persona thing well," Caitlin commented on his behavior about his second half, remembering it took her months to accept Frost.

With that, all of them split off to do their own thing whilst Barry was a little concerned for his friends and looked to Cisco.

"How likely is it that this ends well for us?" Barry asked Cisco.

"That a friend of ours that died over ten years ago is coming back and wants to reconnect with us?" Cisco asked him. "Sounds too good to be true for us."

Barry nodded, feeling the same thing as he looked back to Caitlin as she was working on how to recreate the Firestorm Matrix while Peter's friend dealt with the second problem on the body.

"I'll go see if Yuri has anything on the flames coming. If I find anything, I'll let you know." Patty said as she pecked his cheek

Peter was back at his office and looking over the email he received from his friend. While he did that, Barry came walking in and Peter could guess what he was there for.

"I know what you're gonna say." Peter sighed. "So just go ahead and say it."

"What am I gonna say?" Barry wonders.

"That this could not be Ronnie. Maybe the fire is trying to trick me." Peter recapped everything that he had considered himself. "Trust me, me and Cait spent all morning with the same thoughts."

"Well, Ronnie was your best friend." Barry shrugged, knowing was stating his statement.

"I know, but everything Ronnie said, that flame told me, those were things that only Ronnie could know," Peter stated, shaking his phone to show the email. "My aerospace engineer friend is sending over what we need. Said he'll be over as fast as he could to help."

"You trust him?" Barry asked.

"Well, he's one of the top five smartest people alive, according to those magazines," Peter commented on his friend. "Can't believe I was three on that list." He mumbled to himself, getting it out of his system. "And he even has a family of heroes. They were all space explorers."

NATIONAL CITY:

Back at the Danvers household, Peter and Kara fell asleep on the couch while watching the kids sleep. As they just laid there, Peter started to get these weird...dreams.

He saw a man on fire...a giant pyramid floating in the air. He saw his friends and family crying in pain and agony.

"When gravity falls and earth become sky, fear the beast with just one eye..."

"I can't lose you!"

"There's nothing we can do to save 'em."

"Battleworld caused this."

"Something is coming."

"Barbados is coming!"

Peter jumped awake as he looked down to see Kara resting on his chest. "What the hell?" He then rubbed his head, a headache starting to form. "That was...familiar?"

CENTRAL CITY:

Barry was going over the data they had on the flames when Frost found him, feeling she wasn't really useful with Caitlin or Peter, who was picking up the package from his friend.

"What are you doing down here?" Frost asked him as she approached.

"Looking for alternative ways to help stop the flame," Barry answered. "To make sure we have an alternative."

"Well, I thought you trusted your friends," Frost commented.

"I am, but Caitlin and Peter...they were close to Ronnie. It feels they're avoiding the warnings." Barry tried to explain his worries to Frost. "If this was really Ronnie, why come back decades after he died?"

Frost shrugged, not having an answer to that. "I don't know." She then became hopeful again. "But come on, I've heard Peter talk about Ronnie for decades. How sorry he was how if he had kept that door open for a few more seconds, none of this would have happened."

"So, what, we just let them go through with this?" Barry asked her.

"What if it was Patty?" Frost asked Barry. "Or Dawn? And the only way to save any of them was to do some dangerous experiment to save them? You'd risk everything. Come on, we owe them the chance to prove it, don't we?"

Barry had to agree she did have a bit of a point there. "Let's hope this is the right call."

NATIONAL CITY:

The Hobgoblin hasn't been seen recently, due to the fact that he has something much bigger plan than just going after Iron-Spider. That was his original plan, but then he was approached by someone with a bigger agenda.

Hobgoblin, or as you can call him, Roderick Kingsley, was in his lair and tapped the computers to activate a call.

"There's only a handful of threats left for you," Roderick tells his contact. "I'll draw out Iron-Spider and Supergirl. But the Flash and Spider-Man will be a bit more difficult to do."

"Not to fret on Flash or Spider-Man. I will deal with them when the time comes. More information is needed."

"If you say so, Pulsar Stargrave. But remember, we're partners. Right?" Roderick asked him.

"Of course. You shall stand by my side once I have conquered the world."

"What about their kids?" Roderick questions. "They're powerful."

"As I said, no fret. They are no challenge to my intellect..."
