Peter and Caitlin looked up at the creature calling itself Deathstorm and wondered what they were going to do next. The creature was like the Hellfire Dark Knight that they fought during Battleworld, but without the Dark Knight theme or anything.

"What are you?" Caitlin asks.

"Complete. Thanks to you." Deathstorm stated as Peter went in for an attack, shooting his webs at him.

But all his webs did was burn up before they could even touch the demon, followed by Peter being smacked and tossed aside before he could use the panic button.

"Peter!" Caitlin cried in terror.

"Now I'll return the favor!" Deathstorm tells Caitlin as he grabbed her shoulders.

Caitlin cried out as the blue flames transferred to her and she began to try and escape his grasp. Peter looked up and noticed what it was doing to her and got back up, picking up one of the flare grenades he keeps around the building.

What? Do you think Peter goes anywhere in his building without protection?

"Get the hell away from her!" Peter demanded as he tossed the flare.

But the flare did nothing as it continued to do whatever it was doing to Caitlin. Then that's when a blue square appeared on the floor, getting Peter to look at what it was. But when the square raised off the ground, he noticed that it was actually a portal.

When the portal revealed the person who used it, there stood a man wearing an all-dark blue skintight suit. His arms and waists have a darker color as well as his gloves. And his chest has an emblem similar to Barry's with a 4 embedded on it. He had a haircut similar to Peter's, but with a beard and mustache to match the hair.

He was holding a small grenade that glows blue when he activates it before tossing it at the demon. When it exploded, it seemed to injure the monster after it screeches and dropped Caitlin. He then clapped his hands, sending Peter and the new guy flying across the room again.

"Not enough," Deathstorm said as he looked down at Caitlin. "I'll be back. And when I do, this life of yours will end."

And with that, he took off and without shattering the glass, made it outside and started to fly away. That's when their signal went out and Barry sped into the room to see the three of them across the room. Frost and Sub-Zero were already looking around and looking for them when they got the alert and ran over.

"What the hell happened?" Frost asked as she walked over to Peter.

"I don't know." The new guy said as he got up and looked over Caitlin. "But it did something to your friend here."

"Wait, who are you?" Barry asks the guy.

"Oh, right." The man realized he never introduced himself as he lightly smacked his head. "Reed Richards. Head of the Baxter Foundation."

"He's my friend that helped us solve the whole Ronnie body problem," Peter explained as he picked up his wife.

"Yeah, that's why it took me a moment to get here," Reed admitted as he followed Peter and everyone else to the medical labs. "I noticed some anomalies in your research and noticed some foreign anomalies between Firestorm and Ronnie Raymond. It was like he was...possessed."

"Or replaced." Peter finally put it together and put his wife on the medical bed. "Karen?"

A blue light scanned Caitlin and was looking for anything wrong with her. After a few scans, a computer voice filled the air.

"There seem to be no anomalies within Dr. Caitlin Snow-Parker that are out of the ordinary, sir."

Peter felt that wasn't right and walked over, slightly tapping Caitlin's cheek, causing her to wake up. "Cait? You okay?"

Caitlin hummed and woke up to see everyone staring at her. "What's going on?" Then she remembered what happened and looked at Peter. "He-"

"Escaped," Peter confirmed.

"Who was that guy?" Zero asks.

"He called himself Deathstorm," Caitlin answered.

"So, like Firestorm but..." Crystal asks.

"It was never Ronnie." Peter couldn't believe he did this. "I brought this demon here."

"Peter, it was a team effort." Caitlin wouldn't allow him to bring this down on himself.

"Peter, after everything with May, we don't blame you." Barry had to agree with his friend.

"Whatever it is, we need to stop it." Zero declared.

"He's right." Crystal agreed. "What can you tell us about it?"

"It said Ronnie's death gave him life," Caitlin remembered. "And something about needing to be complete."

"That's where I came in," Reed admitted. "The space that he came from is nothing like I've seen before. When Sue found out, she contacted me and I took some weapons I invented during our time in space."

"That's why it wanted the Firestorm Matrix." Barry sighed. "I'll call everyone else. Let them know what we're facing."

"Speaking of which, what was the emergency?" Peter asked Barry.

"Supergirl and Iron-Spider were kidnapped." Barry was sorry to say.

"What?" Everyone said in shock.

"We'll talk more about this once we take care of...Deathstorm." Barry promises and walks off to make the call.

"If Deathstorm wanted you for some self-resurrection, then why didn't it kill us all back at the park?" Frost wonders, feeling something missing.

"Said that he wanted to return the favor," Caitlin replied.

"Meaning he might come back." Reed saw what he was saying.

"I'll stay with her," Frost promises. "If this freak thinks he can get near her, he's going through me."

"Thanks," Peter said as he pecked her cheek and did the same to Frost. "Karen, keep me updated. Reed, let's go get this son of a bitch."

"Right behind ya," Reed promises and walks off. "Where we going?"

"To a parallel universe." Peter declared, knowing someone who might be able to help.

NATIONAL CITY:

Anjelica was walking back and forth around the Watchtower as Roberta was with the twins. Lena left earlier to get Alex, seeing the Watchtower might be the safest place in the world for them to be right now to keep them safe from whoever's abducting the heroes.

"You good?" Roberta asks her friend.

"I should have gone with them." Anjelica blamed herself for what happened to her folks.

"Then you would have been taken, too," Roberta replied. "Did you forget you have the same powers as your father and mother, and both of them were taken?"

"But what happened to them?" Anjelica wonders.

"I don't know," Roberta replied.

That was when they heard something sounding like water flowing through the labs and got ready for action. They started to make their way around the room and came across the liquid metal and watched it form a human shape.

"Cessily?" Anjelica and Roberta asked in shock to see she had returned.

"Hey, guys!" Cessily cheered as she hugged them. Then she noticed the crib and was shocked. "Wait, are those what I think they are?"

"Yep," Anjelica said and allowed Cessily to walk over and down at the cribs.

"Oh, god! They're so cute!" Cessily screeched, hurting both their enhanced hearing. "Where are your folks?"

"You missed a few things." Anjelica and Roberta replied.

EARTH-616:

After getting a breaching device, Peter and Reed left for a familiar universe where they found Peter Parker-Coulson in his home and informed him of everything. After getting over the fact that their friend was a demon who came back to steal Caitlin, he figured to roll with it nowadays.

"Okay, a demon is on your earth, trying to take your wife and you need my help?" Peter-616 asks them.

"We figured you would have some way to help us," Peter-1 stated.

"Well, I'd like to jump and run to help you, but..." Peter-616 sighed as he looked over towards someone coming down the stairs. What they saw was Michelle Jones walking down and they noticed a... big change since the last time that they saw her. Michelle was currently nine months pregnant. "I have a bigger priority right now."

"Hey, guys." Michelle greeted them as she had a hand on her belly.

"Michelle." Peter-1 greeted her.

"Hey." Reed greeted her. "Congratulations."

"Thanks," Michelle said with a smile. "I heard everything on the baby monitor. And I know we can't help. Fighting demons isn't our real specialty. But we have someone who's specializes in demons."

"We do?" Peter-616 asked her.

"Are you forgetting a certain someone who fights demons for a living?" Michelle asked and Peter finally figured out who she was talking about.

"I'll give him a call. See if he can meet you in your world." Peter-616 tells his friends, feeling they don't need their help, but they can use him.

EARTH PRIME:

Caitlin sighed as she was still in the medical bed while Karen was looking over her vitals for anything out of the ordinary.

"I can't believe I did this." Caitlin sighed.

"Hey, come on, don't go there," Frost warns her. "We all would have done the same thing if we could have lost someone. And Deathstorm knew he could use that grief we had after May's death to hurt us."

Caitlin sighed and knew she had a point when she saw her kids have arrived and ran over to her.

"Mom!" Tommy cried as he ran by her side.

"Are you okay?" Tina asked her.

"I'm fine. Your dad and his new friend saved me." Caitlin assured the three of them.

"Who?" April wonders.

That's when a breach opened in the middle of the room and their father came out, followed by Reed Richards. The sight of the man caused Tina to shriek.

"Is that Reed Richards?!" Tina and April asked their father.

"Oh, yeah, my daughter might be a fan of your work," Peter admitted with a sigh. "She's not subtle about it."

"How'd the trip go?" Frost asked the two.

"Peter is busy, seems his wife is going to give birth soon and he wants to be there for it," Reed informed them of what was happening in their world.

"But he sent him to help us," Peter said as he looked at the portal that has yet to close.

Then a familiar face came stepping through to reveal a man they haven't seen since Crisis. It was the Spirit of Vengeance himself coming through.

"Hey." Robbie Reyes greeted them. "Heard you have a demon problem needing to be taken care of?"

"Who's he?" Aster asks.

"I'm the man who made the deal with the Devil," Robbie informed him with his eyes burning with fire. "And I'm here to take care of your Deathstorm."

"Where's Barry?" Peter wonders.

"He decided to get Patty and Dawn to National City to get Anjelica and Roberta out of harm's way," Caitlin answered him.

Down the halls, Reed was making his way down to Peter's labs to look at more information to deal with Deathstorm. But then he felt something cold shiver down his spine as he looked around the halls.

"Hey, Reed." Someone said, getting Reed to turn around and saw his friend and brother-in-law facing him. He wore a completely identical outfit that Reed was currently wearing. "Miss me?"

"Johnny?" Reed asked in shock as the man started to circle him. "This isn't real. You died."

"Yes. Died trying to save all of you pathetic people." Johnny scoffed as he kept circling him.

"No, this isn't you, this is Deathstorm." Reed started to understand. "He's using my grief against me. Is that all he can do? Make me see things?"

"Oh, he can do so much more than that, bro." Johnny scoffed as he ignited his fist. "I can do so much more."

That's when an explosion could be felt from the med labs, and they all wondered what happened. They all ran over through the halls and found Reed knocked back against the wall.

"Reed?" Peter asked as he ran over.

"No! Watch out!" Reed said as he got back up and looked around to notice he was gone. "He's gone."

"Who?" Tommy asked.

"Deathstorm! He was here. Disguised as Johnny." Reed said as he looked around.

That started to get them all worried and wondering what they can do when the entire system went into lockdown mode. Everyone raced to the doors to stop them, and Peter got to them just in time before they closed.

"Go!" Peter tells them as they crawled underneath before it closed on him.

Frost and Caitlin were still in the medical bay when the doors went into lockdown and wondered what was happening. They felt the sudden drop in the temperature, and strange noises starting to howl in the room.

Looking around, Frost didn't notice anything and felt it was nothing but her imagination. But then came Deathstorm appearing out of nowhere, smacking Frost and sending her across the room.

Deathstorm then made his way towards Caitlin and grabbed her. "Now, your life is over! I have traveled across the stars to be with you. To make you my bride."

But just when he touched her for a second, a chain wrapped around his arm. Looking back, he noticed the chain was attached to Robbie Reyes, who suddenly burst into flames to reveal the Ghost Rider. He was able to yank back the beast that was twice his size, sending Deathstorm flying across the room.

"You have corrupted a deceased soul!" The Ghost Rider informed the monster. "And have stained it with the blood of a dozen others across the cosmos!"

"The Spirit of Vengeance." Deathstorm recognized the fallen angel. "I didn't know you were coming."

"I'll follow the stains as far as they go to seek vengeance!" Rider stated as he approached the monster and swung his chain to trap it.

But right before the chain could reach Deathstorm, he opened a portal, gaining Caitlin's attention just before vanishing into the air. The Rider became angry at the sight that Deathstorm escaped and let out an angry scream. That's how he was when the others finally returned and saw the aftermath of the fight.

After getting over the fact that she almost got killed, Caitlin did her checkup with the help of Karen. "It's incredible. All my vitals are elevated, and my blood pressure is lower, but that's not the strangest thing. My cells are in a constant state of Regenesis. It's like I'm not aging at all. At least not the way I'm supposed to be."

"Why?" Aster wonders. "Why would he want to make you stronger?"

"Because..." Caitlin sighed at the reminder. "He said he traveled across the stars to be with me. To make me his bride."

Peter was shocked at that and scoffed. "You are telling me that Ronnie's corpse traveled all this way to take my girl?"

"Didn't you technically take her from him?" Frost asks, remembering how things started in their relationship.

"That was different. He died." Peter replied to that notion.

"Fair. Even my best friend is trying to steal my girl to this day." Reed admitted, thinking of his friend turned enemy Victor Von Doom.

"I think Deathstorm is using the people who he absorbs' grief to change me." Caitlin tossed her two cents. "But he needs more grief."

"Meaning he's going to find someone to feed off of again soon." Barry, who recently returned with the others, was putting it together.

"And as soon as he does, he'll come back," Peter said when Caitlin grabbed her head in pain. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I just need to rest," Caitlin assured him.

"Okay, we need to find this bastard and send him to hell," Frost stated as she looked at Robbie. "And I mean that literally."

"No problem for me, señorita." Robbie assured her. "But it might get difficult to get close now he knows I'm here. Before I had an element of surprise, now he knows to avoid me."

"What about that portal?" Ashley asked, gesturing to the feed that Tommy, Tina, and April, who was looking over the footage. "Can't we track those?"

Barry then noticed the portal himself and realized something. "Wait...I've seen that space before."

"Where?" Peter wonders.

"It's the same space that Chester was stuck in before we rescued him," Barry informed them.

"He's using points in dimensional space to escape us?" Peter asks.

"Sort of like my powers?" Violet asks them.

"Technically, yes," Ollie replies.

"That's why my flare hurt him," Reed added. "He came from a region that my powers came from."

"And now that we helped him, he can go back and forth between our world and his own," Cisco added on.

"So, a death monster from another realm, traveling through outer space to find his death bride." Karen scoffed. "This has to be the weirdest thing anyone's gone up against."

"But there's something that can help us with this information," Reed said to them. "Trans-dimensional particles."

"Okay, now you're making stuff up," Daniel replies at that.

"No, now we know where his powers came from, we might be able to level the playing field," Reed explains as he took one of the tablets and showed them the device that they used to get rid of Max Dillon's powers and contain Chester.

"The Electro trapper?" Peter asked.

"We gotta change that name," Cisco replied to that.

"The point is that if we modify this to instead of absorbing the black hole energy, to releasing the dimensional energy, we could give these powers to someone and fight, pun unintended, fight fire with fire."

"Think we can accomplish that?" Barry asks them.

"Sure, it's possible. But someone would need to contain all of this energy." Peter replied. "Violet has a similar energy source, but if we added her into this, it could kill her. Permanently."

"What does that mean?" Reed asks.

"Violet's died a few times since she's been here," Tula admitted. "I was here for one of her resurrections."

Reed looked to the girl in question in shock. "You...you have the power to self-heal to the point of coming back to life?"

"Yeah, gave people a few scares," Violet admitted to him as she remembered when she scared the Spider Twins.

Reed looked around and saw that they were telling the truth. "Okay, later, you and me, we're gonna have a chat."

"We should look for anyone here who has the genetical link and healing factor to counteract the power," Peter said, thinking of where it can come from.

"No need. We have one." Frost declared, getting their attention. "I don't get the whole science mumbo jumbo you guys are saying, but I understand that you need an Anti-Deathstorm to take down the real thing."

"Frost and Deathstorm's powers are both cold fusions based." Reed concurred that it could work. "That could help get this started."

"Okay, wait, Frost, you know that this could end with your death, right?" Peter informs her. "I can't let you do this."

"Peter, honey, I love you. But you don't get to stop me from doing this. I can use Violet to get around just as fast as he can around wherever he goes." Frost stated and looked at the kids. "Besides, with all of the smartest people on earth in the same room, I shouldn't have anything to worry about."

"But that's like trying to throw all the eggs in one basket. We need a backup plan." Barry stated.

Peter then got an idea himself that could help as he looked to Frost, Voilet, then over towards Robbie. "I won't stop you, but I won't let you go out there alone."

"What are you planning?" Ashley asks her father.

Peter looked across the room to one of the main person who he needs. "To make a deal."
