Morning of the First Day
Harry arrived at the Ravenclaw dormitories before the other first year Ravenclaw students and the Ravenclaw prefect. Roger Davis was surprised to see Harry already there, but explained how to get into the dormitories.
"What is a dementor and how do you get rid of them?" The statue asked and all the first years looked back confused.
Harry sighed then answered. "Dementors are one of the foulest beings to ever walk the Earth. They feed on the happiness of others and only leave people with the worse memories imaginable. To get rid of dementors you must use the spell Expecto Patronum."
Everyone including Davis looked at Harry in surprise. The statue always asks first years questions that they cannot answer the first time she meets them. Fifth years learn what dementors are and how to get rid of them towards the end of the year.
"That is correct, young man." The statue was impressed. "What is your name, young man?"
"Harrison Reese, ma'am." Harry said before he bowed.
"Please enter and welcome to Ravenclaw."
"Thank you."
Harry entered and waited for the rest of his dorm mates to enter. Once they did, Davis told them which dorm was for first year boys and which dorm was for first year girls.
"To the right is the first year boy's dorm and to the left is the girl's. In the morning Professor Flitwick will be here in the common room to talk to you. Maps of the school will be handed out then too." He left after that.
The boys and girls separated and went to their dorms so that they could change and go to bed. Harry was the last to enter the boy's dorm.
The dorm was down in black and blue. The floor and walls were blue with black rugs. The bed was blue with black pillows. That was all Harry observed before he changed and went to bed.
(Next Morning)
Harry woke up before all his dorm mates. He grabbed his school uniform and went into the dorm bathroom to take a shower. He was dressed and ready to go in ten minutes. He grabbed his bag and went to the Ravenclaw common room.
He sat on the blue sofa in front of the fireplace and started to read. He had gotten so into his book that he didn't hear Professor Flitwick come in nor did he hear his fellow Ravenclaws. Flitwick watched his new student as he read.
Last night he had heard the boy call Minerva, Minnie and he had gotten away with it. When Albus had called her Minnie she had hexed him and had taken away his lemon drops for a week. Minerva had never mentioned that she had a nephew before or any relatives at all.
Davis had reported last night that he had answered a fifth year question. That was the first in many years. The last person to have answered a question that high was Allen Reese. The boy had definitely gotten his intelligence from his grandfather.
Soon the first year Ravenclaws were all in the common room. Flitwick cleared his throat and Harry put down his book having just finished it a moment before.
"Hello, my new Ravenclaws. My name is Professor Flitwick. I am head of Ravenclaw house as well as the charms professor." He said as he looked all his students in the eye. "Today you will begin your first day of Hogwarts and schedules will be handed out at breakfast. Mr. Davis is providing you all with maps so that you will not get lost and make it to your classes on time. He also is giving you a list of rules so please do not break any as they will result in detention and deduction of points." Flitwick squeaked before he took a deep breath. "As Ravenclaw students I expect you all to study and get good grades. Now follow me to the Great Hall."
All the students followed behind the small professor as he led them to the Great Hall. There they went to the Ravenclaw table to eat breakfast and wait for their schedules. Some of them studied the map and rulebook, while the others talked about what their classes might be like.
Harry took a quick glance at the rule book and map before he memorized it completely and went back to eating. Soon though the schedules were handed out.

Harry finished his breakfast and set off towards the dungeons where the potion classroom was located.
