Confrontation
Harry was thankful that it was finally the weekend. The first week of school had been too hectic for Harry. Now he could spend time with his grandpa. He couldn't wait for his lesson with him.
Harry walked out of his room and into the small kitchenette and made strawberry waffles for both him and his aunt and chocolate waffles for his grandpa. Harry then grabbed the strawberry and chocolate syrup.
He set up the table and then knocked on his aunt's door. "Breakfast is done."
"Thank you Harry."
Harry went to his bedroom and looked at his bed where his grandpa was sleeping. He grinned and walked over to the bed. With a giggle Harry pushed him off the bed. Allen landed with a small thud.
"Ow. Harry!" Allen growled at his grandson.
"Breakfast is done." Harry ran out of the room.
Minerva was already at the table. She grabbed some strawberry waffles and the strawberry syrup. Harry sat down and did the same only he grabbed the chocolate syrup instead of the strawberry.
Soon Allen came out of the room dressed. He glared at Harry as he sat down and grabbed the chocolate waffle and the chocolate syrup.
"May I ask why you pushed me out of bed?"
"Breakfast was ready." Harry said innocently.
"So you pushed me out of bed?"
"Yup."
"Brat." Harry giggled as Minerva shook her head at their antics. "Minerva do you know of a place that is private and big so that I can give Harry his lesson?"
"Yes. There is a room on the seventh floor. You have to think of what you want the room to be three times before the door appears."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
They finished up eating before Harry and Allen left. They walked up to the seventh floor and when they found a wall that was empty Allen thought of a room that Harry could meditate in as well as use large amounts of magic for training three times. Just like Minerva said a door appeared. They entered the room.
They both entered the room to find a large room. There were dummies scattered around the room except in the middle. The middle of the room held a rug for meditation.
"We are going to start with meditation first." Harry nodded and waited for his grandpa to give him his instructions.
(Three hours later)
Harry was panting when they stopped training. Harry was on his knees with sweat rolling down his face. It was the first time that he ever used that much magic at one time.
"Go take a shower then we can eat." Harry nodded and left to go shower.
Harry made his way to his aunt's room. Even though he was tired and sweaty he felt better than before. He felt more in control of his emotions and powers. He had just entered the floor his aunt's room was on when he was stopped by Potter and Weasley.
"Is there something that you need?" Harry asked them.
"We just wanted to warn you that if you keep upstaging us then we will be forced to show you what we can do." Weasley growled.
"I have no idea what you are talking about. If you are referring to the fact that I lost control over my magic then that was an accident. If you are referring to grades then you both should know that I am smart and I not only study but I do the work. If my grades exceed yours then I can't help you there."
"You dare talk back to us?" Potter asked in shock.
Before Harry could say anything Minerva, Professor Snape, Professor Flitwick, Professor Sprout, and headmaster Dumbledore walked behind the two redheaded idiots.
"Aunt Minerva, professors, headmaster." Harry greeted them, causing the other two to pale and turn around.
"Is something wrong boys?" The headmaster asked.
"I don't know headmaster. I was walking to my aunt's room to take a shower since I was sweaty and these two stopped me saying that they would show me what they could do if I continued to upstage them. Seeing as how I don't know what they are talking about I believe that they should answer that question sir." Harry replied and then went over to his aunt.
The adults turned towards the two boys. They looked at their teachers and headmaster before they tried to turn and run away. Unfortunately for them, Professor Snape was quicker and quickly stopped them.
"Going somewhere boys?" Severus asked with a smirk and raised an eyebrow.
"Severus, take the boys up to my office. I will contact their parents." Severus nodded and led the boys to the headmaster's office. The headmaster turned towards Harry and his aunt. "When you are done please come to my office Minerva."
"Of course." The headmaster nodded and then left. "Harry, please go take your shower now. Merlin you reek." Minerva said with her nose scrunched up in disgust.
"Gee thanks aunt Minnie." Harry nodded to his head of house before he continued on his way.
"I'm guessing that he will continue to stay with you?" Pomona asked.
"Most likely."
"How is he doing? The students still avoid him." Asked Filius.
"He is doing better. He is happy that he is learning to control his emotions and powers with his grandpa. I believe that he still feels awful for the incident with his powers and father."
"I see."
They left in separate directions. Minerva to the headmaster's office and Filius and Pomona to their own office.
(With professor Snape)
Severus led the two brats to the headmaster's office. He couldn't believe that these two cowards actually thought that they could run away from their professors and headmaster. It truly baffled him that Potter and Weasley could really be that stupid. He was only there to tell Minerva that he would like for her nephew and his grandfather to see him so he can discuss something important with them. He also was going to tell her that the boy's father should be there as well as herself.
"Lemon drop." Severus said when he came to the gargoyle that guarded the headmaster's office.
It sprang to life and soon a staircase appeared. Severus motioned for the boys to walk up before he left for his private potion lab.
(With headmaster Dumbledore)
Albus walked to his office sadly. He was going to talk to Minerva about her nephew. It seemed as though the boy's magic was canceled out by his grandfather and seemed to make the boy act like a child.
Unfortunately he walked to hear the end of what Harry had said. It saddened him when he heard what young Potter had asked. He was going to talk to his parents about spoiling him.
He had sent Fawkes with the letters telling both the Weasleys and the Potters to come to Hogwarts immediately as their sons were in big trouble. He sighed as he realized that he was in front of his office door. He took a deep breath and entered.
(With Minerva)
After talking to Pomona and Filius, Minerva left for the headmaster's office. She couldn't understand what her two lions were thinking. After listening to her nephew explain what happened she was shocked.
It wasn't her nephew's fault that their grades were low as well as them not having a lot of magic. Harry was born with a vast amount of power and since he trained and used his magic it had grown. Harry was also born smart. He loved to study and learn so it was only natural that he had high grades.
Minerva thought about Ronald Weasley. He was almost always late, never tried, did mediocre work, and never seemed to pay attention. According to the other teachers he was already failing their class and it was only the first week of school.
She next thought about Godric Potter. To Minerva it seemed as though the fame went to his head. He, just like Ronald, was almost always late, never tried, did lowsley work, and never paid attention. In all honesty it seemed like he believed that he should have everything handed to him on a silver tray. He was also failing all his classes.
Minerva was shocked that Lily Potter would let her son be so lazy. Hell she was shocked that James Potter would allow it. When he was in school he had good grades and he was in detention most of the time.
She shook her head and opened the door to the headmaster's office. Minerva hoped that the boys would learn their lesson after this.
(With professor Flitwick and professor Sprout)
Both Filius and Pomona walked to their offices. They were shocked by the two lions. How could they attempt to threaten one student and then to try and run once they were caught red-handed?
"Can you believe those two?" Pomona asked.
"No I can't. Let's hope they learn their lesson."
"Oh I do. By the way, why were you there in the first place?"
"I was seeing to mr. Reese's dorm situation. You see his dorm-mates don't want him sleeping in the same room as them so I was going to see if mr. Reese would continue to stay with her or not. What were you doing there?"
"I was going to ask mr. Reese if he would like to help me out in the greenhouses. He has such a wonderful talent for herbology."
"I see. I bet he will. I see that boy reading all the time. It is either potion journals or herbology journals that he reads."
"That is true."
They reached the floor where Filius' office was so Filius said goodbye to Pomona and then went inside. Pomona continued on her way.
