[Flashback]

Not Lily Potter

Lily sat in her cell growling. She purposely stole this chick's identity so that she could bring back her lord and so that the brat couldn't fight him and now here she was. If she stayed here much longer and didn't do the ritual this month, then she would be found and her plan would end.

She was really an unmarked death eater who had attacked Lily when she was in the hospital getting Godric checked out after the attack and did a ritual that made her Lily Potter before she hid the real Lily in the basement of her house. As much as she wanted to kill the mudblood she had to keep her around for the ritual.

All she could hope was that the ritual lasted until she could redo it or else shit would hit the fan. There was nothing that she could do at the moment so she just sat there growling and cursing James Potter to hell.

(Hogwarts-Ravenclaw Common Room)

Harry walked into the common room gaining jealous, angry, and scared stares. He ignored them and walked over to another first year girl. She stared at him in fear as he approached. All he did was hold up a silver locket in the shape of a star with engraved initials: PP.

"Is this yours?" He asked.

"No, it is my sisters. Where did you get it?" She asked.

"I found it in the library. I looked inside to see if I could find who it went to but there was a picture of both of you so I figured I asked." He told her as he gave her the locket. "Since it belongs to your sister you can give it back to her."

"Thank you."

He nodded and left. What he didn't know was that he caused her opinion and many others' opinions about him to change.

Harry went back to the library to finish his homework. He wanted more time to work on his potion essays during the weekend. He just needed to finish his charms homework then he could go back to his rooms.

(With Sirius Black and James Potter)

Sirius Black was helping James pack up Lily's things when something caught his eye. It was a small journal and in silver lettering it said Illegal spells and rituals to steal one's identity. His eyes widened and he quickly went over to James.

"James, look at this." Sirius said as he handed the journal over.

He took it and paled when he saw the title. He opened it and when he read what was written into the journal he paled even more and gasped in horror and shock.

"We need to go to the aurors. That woman I have been living with isn't Lily."

"WHAT!?" Sirius screamed before they ran to the floo and flooed to the ministry.

Those who saw them stared as they ran through the building. They ran until they reached the auror's offices. They entered and gave the journal to Amelia.

"What is this?" She asked in confusion.

"We were packing up Lily's things when Sirius found this journal. The title caused him to show me and when I looked inside I saw the whole truth."

"Okay." She opened it and read the same words that James did and paled. "The woman we arrested wasn't Lily but another witch who stole her identity." She said in shock.

She stood and quickly grabbed a few aurors before going down to the cell that housed the woman that was pretending to be Lily Potter. They were going to find out who she was and where Lily Potter was.
