[Flashback]
Moron
They stared at the eleven year olds for a bit. None of them knew how to explain the situation to them. Allen finally explained what was happening without dumbing it down. Godric looked worried. Harry stared at the adult emotionlessly.
"What's wrong Harry?" He asked his grandson.
"How will you tell aunt Lily? The doctor said that she didn't even know she was kidnapped and that the person who did it took her place." He asked.
Those who didn't know Harry stared at him in shock. His father and grandfather looked both amused and worried. Godric looked at his dad and waited for him to answer.
"You have a point." Allen said.
"I know~" Harry sang out smugly.
"Brat."
"I know."
"We don't know yet." He admitted.
"Then I guess you better figure it out." He said bluntly.
"Oh shut up!" He glared at his grandson.
Harry smirked and looked at his cousin. "Come on Godric. The grownups need to think."
"Okay." He agreed.
"Come along dad." Harry looked at him.
"I am a grown up." He pouted at his son.
"Fine. Let two underage kids wander around a hospital. Whatever could go wrong?" He asked sarcastically.
Brandon blinked. "Good point."
"I know." He replied smugly.
His dad rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry kid. Just…"
"I know."
"Come on. We'll go get some food." He kissed his son's head.
"Okay."
"That kid is too damn smart." His grandfather said as the three walked away.
"Scary smart." Remus muttered.
"I forgot that you met him." Allen said in amusement.
"He is brutally honest." He said.
"Painfully." He smirked.
"So true." He groaned.
"What happened?" Sirius knew something had to have happened.
"I have been working with Brandon on rights for werewolves." Remus told him.
"I remember you telling me that." James said.
"We would meet at his house. That is when I met Harry." He said.
"I remember that day." Allen said with a chuckle.
"Me too." Remus winced.
"What happened?" James asked.
"Harry and I came up from my potion lab for a snack. Harry loves helping me so usually he's with me. He had heard Remus talk about the wolfsbane potion." Allen explained.
"What about it?" Sirius asked. "He hasn't taken that for about two years."
"Harry's the reason for that." Remus admitted. "I had asked Brandon to try and make that potion more accessible and cheaper."
"What Remus didn't know was that the potion is poisonous to wolves." Allen informed them.
"What?!" James and Sirius yelled in shock.
"While it does allow werewolves to keep their mind, it also poisons them. The longer they take it the more damaged their organs become until the organs no longer work." He answered.
"Dear Merlin!" James looked sick.
"I had done some research into it. Several packs who had gained new members came to me. Many of the new members were sick and none of them knew why." He said.
"Not to be offencive or mean but why would they go to you?" Sirius asked.
Sensing that the man was generally curious as to why they went to the potion master instead of a healer he answered the question without snapping. "I have made many werewolf safe potions."
"Oh." That made sense.
"My research proved that the potion was a poison." He said. "Although the name is obvious."
James and Sirius looked confused so James asked, "How come that isn't public?"
"I have made it known to the potion guild. They released a statement but since it was about werewolves it didn't make the news." He informed them.
"Idiots." James muttered.
"Indeed. Harry knew about this so when he heard Mr Lupin ask he flipped out on him." He told them.
"Loudly." Remus added.
"What did he say?" James asked.
"Are you an idiot? Why in the name of Merlin would you want that poison more accessible and cheaper. That will kill them if they take it long enough, you moron. Are you trying to kill them off?" Allen answered for them.
"Wow." Sirius exclaimed.
"He even hit me on the nose with a newspaper." Remus pouted.
"He did. Very amusing sight. He calmed down when Mr Lupin asked 'Poison? Wolfsbane potion is poison?' My grandson realized he didn't know."
"He looked at me and asked if I really didn't know which of course I didn't." Remus said.
"He then walked out of the room. He grabbed my journal on the subject and gave it to him. He then told him to get out and join a pack." Allen said.
"He said that it was the only way to learn about werewolves. I did join a pack." He told them.
"Really?" Sirius asked.
"Yeah it was temporary." The sandy haired wizard said.
"Temporary? Why only temporarily?" James asked.
"Because you guys are my pack." He told them.
"Oh." He smiled.
"We wove you too Rem Rem." Sirius cooed as he hugged his friend.
Remus shoved him away. "Oh shut up!"
"Anyway about my daughter?"
"Yes?" James looked at him.
"I believe that it would be best to tell her the truth about what had happened." Allen gave his opinion.
"But it could be traumatic for her and we don't know who kidnapped her." He said.
"I know but lying to her could also be bad. She will need a therapist for all this. And if we don't know something we should tell her." He said.
"Okay."
"Maybe we should show her our memories?" Sirius suggested.
"Good idea."
"Are you sure?" James asked in concern for her wife.
"We can ask the healer."
"Okay."
"Let's get to it."
"Okay."
