Author Note: The Twilight Saga is a franchise owned by one, Stephanie Meyer. This is a fanfiction based on that franchise. I do not own Twilight or any of it's characters. I only own Becca Swan and this story.

When you face a vampire, you do not show fear. You are their fear, you are their downfall. You are the only thing standing between them and death. Becca sat in the backseat of Alice's 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer as her and Jasper drove south. She knew a tracker like James would make this personal. And in Kagniz, he would be a stones throw from any personal place. The hotel was just outside of Phoenix, a twelve minute drive to Kagniz, that's where they would be staying. There she would call Gallia. "Why should I help her?" Rosalie's words echoed in her memory.

"Rose, Becca is with Edward. She's part of this family now." Carlisle spoke to her as Becca leaned up against the side of Alice's car.

"She's a hunter!" Rose spoke, glaring at her Carlisle.

"She's a part of this family now and we protect our family." Becca shook her head as her mind flashes to her last few moments with Edward. He leaned up against the car, gritting his teeth.

"If anything happens to you.." he snarled, his fangs fully exposed.

"Nothing will happen, Edward." she said, grabbing his hand and turning his attention to her. "There's eight of us and two of them."

"When everything is done, I'm coming to get you." He held her gaze and pressed his forehead against her own.

"I'm holding you to that." She smirked as he kissed her lips, hard.

"Becca, you are my life now."

Although Becca had lived in Kagniz for five years, she had never stayed at this hotel before. She knew of it, hell, she even met a few Vigil members at it. But she never stayed. Turning to Alice, Becca tells her that she has to make a phone call. Upon entering the bathroom, Becca turns and heaves into the toilet. This is so much to take in. The guilt of how she left her dad, the danger everyone was putting themselves in to protect her. Straightening herself up, she recalls Alice's vision. How James caught onto them and changed his direction. A stage, antique lights and a room full of mirrors. Opening her phone, Becca dialed Gallia's number. She answered on the second ring and before Gallia could speak, Becca spoke. "There's three of them. They're separated. I was able to get the tracker to follow me back to Kagniz."

"You're out of your jurisdiction, Swan." Gallia spoke, as Becca halted another word. There was a long pause before Gallia continued, "Extraction granted. No witnesses, make it quick. And Becca?"

"Yeah?"

"Happy Hunting." Becca closes her phone and leans back against the wall. Before she can walk out, her phone rings again.

"Hello?" she asks, answering but not recognizing the number.

"Becca, the tracker changed his course. The woman is still in the area. Rose and Esme went back to protect Charlie. I'm coming to get you. And then you and I are going somewhere alone. The other's will keep hunting." Edward spoke rapidly, Becca heard the roar of an engine on the other end. Alice's vision was coming true.

"He's coming here." She said, turning to the sink and stared at her reflection.

"What?" Edward asked.

"Kagniz theater. It's abandoned now but I used to play violin there."

"Don't!" Edward begged, knowing full well she would go after James. "Don't do anything drastic. I'll do whatever it takes to make you safe again."
