Coruscant
Night
From her apartment, Padme watched worriedly as smoke rose from the Jedi Temple. The last time she'd seen something like this was the Temple Bombing, which had resulted in Ahsoka leaving the Jedi.
Padme was broken out of her thoughts when C-3PO walked over to her.
"The Chancellor's office indicated that Master Anakin returned to the Jedi Temple," 3PO said and Padme's heart froze in panic. "Don't worry; I'm sure he'll be alright."
3PO then walked off, leaving Padme alone. Padme looked back at the Temple worriedly before putting a hand to her face, beginning to sob.
Padme wasn't sure how long she had been crying when she heard the sounds of shouting from outside her apartment. Padme lifted her head, drying her eyes before turning around. Before she could try and put on some clothes that would hide her very obvious pregnancy, to Padme's shock, the door burst open and several Clones rushed in, aiming their weapons at her.
"Hands up! Now!" one of them barked at her and Padme, in shock, immediately raised her hands.
"What are you doing!? I am a member of the Galactic Senate!" Padme shouted.
"Indeed you are," Tarkin noted as he entered the room, taking a moment to glance at her swollen stomach before looking back up at Padme's face. "And, by order of the Supreme Chancellor, you are under arrest for treason."
At the Temple, The Doctor and Anakin were leading the group stealthily through the corridors, doing their best to avoid any Clones when Anakin suddenly paused, an unsettled look crossing his face.
"Anakin? Are you alright?" Obi-Wan asked as they noticed him stall.
"I thought I sensed…it's nothing," Anakin shook his head. "My senses must be going haywire due to what's happening. So explain this plan of yours again?"
"Palpatine knows about the TARDIS, so he'll have as many Clones as possible guarding it once the first wave of Order 66 has done its job. We head for the TARDIS, I use my sonic screwdriver to short out as many of their blasters as I can, you dodge their blaster bolts as best you can and get to the TARDIS. From there, Rory can handle things," The Doctor explained once again.
"Oh good. For a moment, I thought this was going to be difficult," Obi-Wan said sarcastically.
"The Doctor's plan is as good as any, unless you have a better idea?" Rory asked and Obi-Wan sighed.
"I guess not. I just wish…" Obi-Wan trailed off as he glanced at Kitanni and the other Younglings.
"As do I Obi-Wan. But, as much as I don't like it, The Doctor's plan is the best one available to us at the moment," Windu said reluctantly, not looking like he liked agreeing.
Further conversation was interrupted when a couple of Clones rounded the corner. Before they could even get off a shot, The Doctor used his screwdriver to short circuit their blasters before Anakin, Obi-Wan and Windu slammed them against the wall with The Force, knocking them out. As the Clones fell to the floor, The Doctor picked up a blaster and used his screwdriver to make it work again.
"Amy," The Doctor called out before tossing it to Amy, who caught the blaster clumsily. "That'll do you better than the Sonic Blaster."
"You're giving me a weapon?" Amy asked in disbelief and he smiled tightly.
"Desperate times. Although I made it so it only works on stun," The Doctor said as they continued moving.
"The Raggedy Man is giving us weapons. I think the world's turned upside down," Amy muttered to Rory.
Outside the temple, Bail Organa landed his speeder, noting he was being approached by four Clones almost immediately.
"What's going on here?" Bail demanded as he got out and approached them.
"There's been a Rebellion Sir," one of the Clones said. "Don't worry, the situation is under control."
The words were meant to sound comforting, but instead put Bail on edge. Something was wrong here, the Clones were acting differently. He moved to go past them when one of the Clones aimed their blaster at him.
"I'm sorry Sir, but it's time for you to leave," the Clone said firmly.
"And so it is," Bail agreed, realizing something was indeed wrong.
Bail began making his way back to his speeder when he heard a shout. Bail turned around, seeing a Jedi Padawan, he couldn't have been older than 12, whirling a blue lightsaber, taking out the Clones. As he took out another one, more rushed out of the Temple, opening fire. The Padawan tried to deflect the bolts with his lightsaber but was struck in the chest and went down, dead.
"NO!" Bail shouted in horror.
As the Clones turned to him, Bail took off in his speeder, knowing he needed to get to his ship and try to help as many Jedi as he could.

Ahsoka and Rex were in a control room overseeing the main hanger and things were not going well. Somehow the Hyperdrive had been destroyed, causing the ship to drop out of Hyperspace. To make matters worse, the ship was caught in the gravitational pull of a nearby moon and the other Clones seemed to be catching onto the fact that Rex was now working with Ahsoka.
"R-7, open the main hanger doors," Ahsoka ordered.
R-7 beeped at her before doing just that. Ahsoka and Rex looked through the open doors at the planet below, seeing they were nearing it.
"We need to get out of here," Ahsoka said, realizing the ship was going to crash.
"Any luck on those doors?" Rex asked R-7, who beeped at him.
"And the shuttle?" Ahsoka asked.
In response, R-7 opened a hanger door, revealing the shuttle.
"There it is," Ahsoka said in relief.
Ahsoka's relief was cut short. Multiple other doors then opened and too many Clones to count rushed into the room.
"They were waiting for us," Rex realized in horror.
The Clones formed a barricade, blocking the path to the shuttle. Jesse stepped in front before turning to address the other Clones, giving orders they couldn't hear.
"So what do we do? Fight our way to the shuttle?" Rex asked and Ahsoka took a moment to weigh her options.
"No. There are too many. Besides, I don't want to hurt them," Ahsoka said as she looked over at Rex.
"I hate to tell you this, but they don't care. This ship is going down and those soldiers, my brothers, are willing to die and take you and me with them," Rex said passionately.
The room was silent as Ahsoka merely stared at Rex. After a moment, Rex's shoulders slumped and Ahsoka closed the distance between them. Ahsoka gently placed her hands on his helmet and slowly removed it. Rex stared at her sadly, a tear running down his cheek.
"You're a good soldier Rex. So is every one of those men down there. They may be willing to die, but I am not going to be the one who is going to kill them," Ahsoka said in a tone that left no room for argument.
Rex looked away, closing his eyes for a moment.
"So, we're just gonna surrender? Accept defeat? Is that it?" Rex asked, feeling hopeless.
"No," Ahsoka said and he smiled humorlessly.
"Well I don't see any other option," Rex said hopelessly.
Ahsoka was silent, glancing out at the other Clones. Then, she got an idea.

The Doctor peaked around the corner, frowning. At least two dozen Clones stood between them and the TARDIS. Which was concerning.
"I think we can take them," Anakin said after The Doctor replayed his observation.
"Easily," The Doctor agreed and they all picked up on his tone.
"You don't sound very confident," Obi-Wan noted.
"Palpatine knows my screwdriver can take out their blasters and that at least Anakin is with me. So why have so few clones guarding my TARDIS unless-"
"It's a trap," Rory realized and The Doctor nodded grimly.
"There are probably a bunch of other Clones hidden that will step out the moment we make a move for the TARDIS," The Doctor said and a beat passed.
"We have no other choice. Your ship is the only escape we have," WIndu pointed out and The Doctor nodded reluctantly.
"I know. So let's make our stand here," The Doctor said as he pulled out his screwdriver.

"Hold your fire!" Rex shouted as he walked into the hanger.
Rex couldn't believe he had allowed Ahsoka to talk him into this. He was currently leading Ahsoka into the hanger at blaster point, her hands over her head. As he saw the other Clones aim their weapons at him, he just knew Jesse was calling in backup.
"I said hold your fire Jesse. I have the situation here under control," Rex ordered.
"You have your orders sir. Now execute it or I will," Jesse demanded and Rex's heart broke to see his brother so brainwashed by those kriffing chips.
"The order was to execute the Jedi for treason against the Republic," Rex said as he and Ahsoka stopped a few feet away from the other Clones. "The problem is, Ahsoka Tano is no longer a Jedi. Hasn't been for some time."
"Sir, you said yourself we're under special order from Darth Sidious to eliminate Ahsoka Tano and any other Clone who disobeys Order 66," Jesse pointed out suspiciously.
As Jesse talked, Ahsoka nervously glanced over at where the Astromech Droids were by the panel. The shook their doomed heads at her.
"Just keep them talking a bit longer," Ahsoka told Rex lowly.
"Jesse. Jesse, listen to me. We've known each other a long time. If we don't get this right, we will be the ones committing treason, not her," Rex pleaded with Jesse.
Jesse lowered his blasters slightly as if to put them down, and then brought them back up, taking aim at Rex.
"Commander Rex, you are in violation of Order 66. I accuse you of treason against the Grand Army of the Republic. You'll be demoted in rank from Commander and subject to execution along with the traitor Ahsoka Tano," Jesse said his voice lacking any emotion.
At that moment, R-7 and the Astromechs signal Ahsoka. It was time.
"Ready?" Ahsoka asked Rex and he glanced back at her.
"Yeah, I didn't like being a Commander much anyway," Rex said as he glanced back at her.
Jesse and the Clones prepare to fire on them when an alarm suddenly blared. Two sections on the floor fell, both taking scores of Clones with them. Jesse prepared to fire on Ahsoka but she pushed out a hand and Jesse was sent flying into one of the gaps in the floor.
Rex then tossed Ahsoka her lightsabers and she caught then, igniting them almost instantly. Ahsoka then began using them to block the blaster bolts from the Clones as Rex opened fire on his brothers.

The Doctor, the Ponds and the Jedi all charged into the room. The Doctor almost immediately used his screwdriver to take out as many of the Clones' blaster as possible as the Jedi ignited their lightsabers, using them to deflect any blaster bolts shot at them.
But, as The Doctor had predicted, more Clones than any of them could count burst into the area, opening fire on the group. The Jedi and Rory did their best to deflect the shots while shielding the Younglings as Amy returned fire with her blaster.

As Ahsoka and Rex continued fighting off the Clones, G-G beeped frantically at them. Ahsoka looked over, seeing a familiar red and black skinned figure making a break for the shuttle. Ahsoka's blood ran cold as she realized Maul's plan.
"Rex, the ship!" she called out.
The pair began pursuing Maul as fast as they could. Maul paused to Force Throw some boxes at them, which Ahsoka easily dodged.
"You wanted this chaos," Maul sneered.
Ahsoka didn't rise to the bait, jumping over the boxes and attempting to strike Maul but he sent a powerful Force Push at her. Ahsoka went flying but she stabbed her lightsabers into the floor. However, it wasn't enough her to stop from going over the edge and into the gap in the floor. Before she could fall, G-G deployed a cable. Ahsoka quickly caught it as Rex and G-G rushed over.
Ahsoka began climbing up when blaster bolts began being fired at her. Jesse and the other Clones had regained consciousness. Ashoka used one of her lightsabers to deflect the blaster bolts as Rex returned fire.

Rory used his sword like a bat, deflecting a blaster bolt back at a clone. It got him in the shoulder and he dropped as Amy fired her blaster, getting a few Clones and knocking them out.
"Not sure how much longer we can keep this up Raggedy Man!" Amy shouted over the blaster fire.
"We need to clear those Clones away from the TARDIS!" The Doctor shouted, doing his best to protect the Younglings from the blaster fire.
"Anakin!" Obi-Wan shouted as he deflected a few blaster bolts.
Anakin nodded at his old master before rushing towards the Clones that were standing guard by the TARDIS. He deflected a few of the blaster bolts fired at him before yanking several of the blaster out of their hands with The Force and cutting the remaining weapons in half with his lightsaber. Anakin then lifted them all up into the air and slammed them violently against the wall with The Force, knocking them out.
"We're good to go!" Anakin shouted.
The Doctor snapped his fingers and the TARDIS doors opened up.
"Go, now!" The Doctor ordered.

As Rex returned fire with the other Clones, Ahsoka managed to pull herself up with G-G's help. Looking up, she saw Maul about to take off with the ship.
"The Shuttle!" Ahsoka shouted, bringing it to Rex's attention.
She rushed forward a few feet, using The Force to stop the Shuttle. But it took a lot of effort. Ahsoka groaned, the amount of power she had to use staggering. She begam stumbling but Rex rushed over, grabbing her hand so she doesn't fall.
"Incoming!" Rex shouted as he saw a few other Clones emerge at the other end of the hanger.
"Surround them!" one ordered.
Rex was forced to let go of Ahsoka's hand as he pulled out his blasters, firing at his brothers as they opened fire on him.

The Jedi and Rory were doing their best to deflect the blaster fire from the Clones as Amy returned fire and The Doctor used his screwdriver to dismantle the Clones' blasters. They were backing towards the TARDIS as quickly as they could while protecting the Younglings.
Then, Rory missed a bolt with his sword and was struck in his shoulder. Rory cried out, dropping his sword and falling on his side.
"Rory!" Amy cried out in terror, worriedly rushing to her husband's side.
The Doctor glanced at his Companions worriedly, his distraction giving the Clones the advantage as they continued to opened fire.
"NO!" Anakin roared, lifting a hand.
To the shock of all the Jedi, the blaster bolts momentarily froze in midair before returning, striking the Clones in non-fatal ways.

Ahsoka was still trying desperately to stop Maul from taking off, barely aware of G-G getting hit in the head and falling to the floor next to her. Behind her, Rex was exchanging fire with the other Clones when he got hit in the shoulder, although he was thankfully protected by his armor.
"Can't hold them off! Too many of them!" Rex shouted.
Ahsoka glanced back at Rex worriedly before sighing. As much as she wanted to stop Maul, it wasn't worth losing Rex. So, with a feeling of regret, Ahsoka released her hold on the shuttle. She watched it take off for a moment before rushing back towards Rex.
Ahsoka ignited her lightsabers, jumping in front of Rex and deflecting the blaster bolts fired. She and Rex fought back to back for a moment before Ahsoka threw her lightsabers into the floor. Using The Force, she used them to cut a hole in the floor around her and Rex.
Rex let out a yelp as the heated metal fell, landing several feet below with a loud clang. They pulled themselves to their feet to see Jesse and multiple other Clones standing a few feet away. Rex sighed in irritation.
"Blast them," Jesse ordered and the Clones opened fire.
Ahsoka and Rex began doing their best to deflect and dodge the blaster bolts when the lifts below the Clones feet propels them a level, away from Ahsoka and Rex.
"Remind me to thank those droids if we live through this," Rex told Ahsoka.
Ahsoka and Rex then took care of the remaining Clones before rushing off, looking for another available vehicle.

"Can you stand?" Obi-Wan asked as he and Amy helped Rory to his feet.
"Yeah, I think so," Rory said with a grimace.
"Change of plans. Get him to the TARDIS. Amy, the TARDIS'll help you set a course," The Doctor ordered. "Rory knows where the med-bay is, you can treat his wound once you are safe. Go now."
"Doctor," Amy said as she looked at him worriedly.
"We'll see each other soon Pond, I promise. Now go," The Doctor ordered.
Amy spared him one last look before she, Rory, the Jedi and the Younglings made their way onto the TARDIS. The Younglings and Windu looked around; even Windu could admit he was impressed.
Anakin closed the doors as Amy made her way over to the Console.
"Okay, help me out here please," Amy said as she looked at the controls, having no idea what to do.
For a moment, nothing happened. Then, one of the levers turned slightly.
"Okay, Geronimo I guess," Amy said before pulling the lever.
Outside the TARDIS, The Doctor watched as the blue boxed vanish with its usual 'vwoorp'.
"Take care of them old girl," The Doctor muttered.
The Doctor then glanced down at Rory's sword. Kneeling down, he picked it up before walking off, disappearing into the Temple.

As the ship began entering the atmosphere of the moon, Rex and Ahsoka had found one last ship. With Ahsoka's help, Rex had gotten to the ship while Ahsoka was still trying to find off the blaster bolts from the Clones when an explosion suddenly rocked the ship. As everyone else began falling, Ahsoka stabbed her lightsabers into the floor, stopping her descent. She looked over at Rex, who was in the cockpit of the two man fighter they had found.
"Come on!" Rex shouted as her.
Ahsoka pulled her lightsabers out of the floor and began running towards the ship. She jumped up into the air, attempting to land on it when it suddenly fell through the floor. The ship spun out of control and Rex frantically attempted to gain control, relief coursing through him when he managed to power it up. Rex then began flying through the debris, frantically searching for Ahsoka. Finding her on one side of his ship, Rex opened the second cockpit. Ahsoka grabbed onto the hatch but was unable to hold on. Rex watched in horror as she lost her grip and went flying.
Seeing a large piece of debris, Ahsoka landed on it and began running down it. Seeing Rex flying up beside it, Ahsoka jumped onto the next piece of debris and Rex flew up in front of her. Ahsoka jumped, falling near the second cockpit. Although she had trouble reaching it, Ahsoka eventually managed to grab onto the side and climb inside. As she closed the hatch, both she and Rex breathed a tired sigh.
On the ground, the Star Destroyer had crashed, smoke rising out of it. A few seconds later, a Vwoorp is heard before the TARDIS appeared several feet away from the crash site.
"So where are we exactly?" Anakin asked as the Jedi felt the TARDIS land with a jolt.
"Not sure, never done that before," Amy said as she made her way over to Rory. "The Doctor said once the TARDIS takes us to where we need to go, not always where we want to."
Anakin opened his mouth to respond when he paused, feeling something. Anakin closed his eyes, stretching out with The Force.
Up in the air, Rex and Ahsoka had caught site of the TARDIS.
"Where the blazes did that thing come from?" Rex wondered.
Ahsoka did not respond, staring at it. A feeling come over then, not unlike when she had sense earlier in the week while on her mission with the Martez sisters.
"Rex, land the ship by that box," Ahsoka told him.
"You sure kid?" Rex asked doubtful.
"Yes," Ahsoka said in a tone that lacked any doubted.
Confused, Rex did as she asked, landing the ship a few feet away.
Inside, Anakin opened his eyes and began rushing towards the door.
"Anakin!" Obi-Wan called out but Anakin ignored him, opening the door and rushing out.
As he stepped out, Anakin looked over, seeing Rex and Ahsoka step out of their own ship.
"Anakin," Ahsoka breathed as she saw her master.
"Ahsoka," Anakin breathed in relief before glancing over at Rex.
"Its fine, he's fine. I got the chip out," Ahsoka quickly assured him and Anakin's shoulders relaxed.
"Ahsoka, Rex," Obi-Wan said in surprise as he and Windu stepped out.
"Generals. Mind telling us what's going on?" Rex asked.
Well, that got a lot longer than I thought it would be. The Jedi Temple fight scenes were harder than I thought to write, so I hope you all enjoyed them.
