Mid-Morning

"So who exactly is this Master?" Amy asked as she stood outside Rory's room, the Jedi having come to fill her in.

"The Doctor's never mentioned him?" Anakin inquired.

"The Raggedy Man loves his secrets. Who is he?" Amy asked.

"A friend of The Doctor, he once was. Grow up together, they did," Yoda began as they all turned to him. "There is a rite of passage that all Time Lord children must go through. Drive The Master mad, it did. Done many terrible things, he has."

"And this mad man is in control of the Republic. We have to do something," Bail insisted.

"Agree I do, but complicated, the situation is," Yoda said with a sigh.

"The Master has fooled the entire galaxy into thinking he's a benevolent man who wants peace. Deposing him will not be so simple," Windu pointed out.

"He's also got a strangle hold on the Senate," Anakin added, remembering Padme's many frustrations with how much power Palpatine was granted.

"Great care, must we take," Yoda said grimly.

"Could this Doctor have something we can use against The Master?" Ahsoka inquired and Yoda frowned.

"Hmm. Mentioned once that have files on his enemies, The Doctor did. Consult the TARDIS interface, we must," Yoda said grimly.

"Well good luck then. The TARDIS is about as helpful at giving out information as The Doctor," Amy noted.

"It appears we have no other choice," Obi-Wan noted.

Shortly after, the group of Jedi reentered the ship where they ran back into Bail, who had an uneasy look on his face.

"Senator Organa, is everything alright?" Ahsoka inquired, all of them picking up on Bail's feelings.

"I was just contacted by the Chancellor's office. Palpatine is requesting my presence at a special session of congress," Bail said, to their surprise. "It could be a trap."

"I do not think so. After what happened to the Jedi, it's too bold a move to do away with the Senate this quickly," Anakin disagreed.

"Anakin is right. Palpatine will need to keep the Senate intact, at least for the moment, to control the thousands of star systems," Obi-Wan added.

"By returning, be our eyes and ears, you can. Shed light on The Master's plan, this may," Yoda noted and Bail nodded a thoughtful look on his face.

"You make a good point Master Yoda. Very well. I'll take a small shuttle back to Coruscant. I'll leave the Tentive III here for now under the command of Captain Antilles, should you need any assistance," Bail promised.

"May The Force be with you Senator," Windu said and Bail nodded.

"And with you," Bail before walking off to find a shuttle.

"Why would the Chancellor call an emergency session?" Ahsoka asked, having a bad feeling about this.

"I don't know Snips. But it can't be good," Anakin muttered, sharing his Padawan's uneasy feeling about this.

"Which makes it imperative we find out what The Doctor knows about The Master. His files may reveal some hidden weakness we can exploit," Windu pointed out.

The group of Jedi made their way to the hanger just in time to see Bail's shuttle take off before launching into Hyperspace, the shield deploying moments after. They group made their way onto the TARDIS, looking around.

"So, anyone have any idea what we're looking for?" Anakin asked.

Before anyone could respond, the TARDIS gave a sudden lurch. The engines began moving and the Jedi were sent stumbling around the console room.

"What's happening!?" Ahsoka asked as Anakin grabbed her hand to keep her from falling.

"I think the TARDIS is sending us somewhere again!" Anakin shouted.

In the hanger, Rex rushed in with some of the crew, watching in shock as the TARDIS dematerialized.

"Well Kriff," Rex swore, not sure what to do now.

The five Jedi had managed to use their ability to steady themselves as the TARDIS seemed to stabilize as it landed.

"What was that about?" Ahsoka wondered.

"Have a mind of its own, the TARDIS does," Yoda explained.

"Last time it did that, it brought us to you Master," Obi-Wan noted as he glanced at Yoda.

"According to Amy, the TARDIS takes you to wherever you need to go," Anakin noted.

"And where are we exactly?" Windu inquired.

Anakin walked over to the scanners. He messed around with some of the controls, seeing they were similar to those of a Starship. Within a few seconds, Anakin had the information.

"We're on a planet called Dagobah," Anakin read off. "It's a swamp planet, uninhabited except for the wild animals that live here."

"Dagobah. Been here before, I have," Yoda said and they all looked at him. "Strong in The Force, it is."

"Great. So do we go explore or do we try and find a way back?" Anakin asked.

"If the TARDIS brought us here, I think we should find out why," Obi-Wan said and Anakin sighed.

"I was afraid you gonna say something like that. Alright, out to the swamp then," Anakin said unenthusiastically.

The five Jedi slowly exited the TARDIS, looking around wearily.

"Ugg. The TARDIS better have a good reason for bring us here," Ahsoka muttered, her nose wrinkling at the smell.

"Nothing happens by accident young one."

At the sound of the voice, four of the Jedi present had looks of disbelief on their face. While Ahsoka grabbed her lightsabers, the others whirled around. Standing a few feet away was a dark haired, bearded man with Jedi robes on. His body glowed and he was see through.

"Master Qui-Gon," Obi-Wan breathed and Qui-Gon Jinn smiled at his former Padawan.

"Hello Obi-Wan. It is good to see you," Qui-Gon said happily.

"Either I'm losing it or we're talking to a ghost," Anakin said in disbelief.

"Your sanity remains intact Anakin. For some Jedi, there is a way to retain consciousness after death," Qui-Gon explained. "Now, we have much to discuss."

Coruscant

Afternoon

In the Senate building, Bail entered his pod next to Mon Mothma, almost immediately noticing the absence of Padme Amidala.

"What's happening?" he whispered to Mon as the Chancellor continued his speech.

"The Chancellor's been elaborating on a plot by the Jedi to overthrow the Senate," Mon said, her tone conveying exactly what she thought of that.

Bail was very careful not to react. So Palpatine was already trying to frame the Jedi.

"The remaining Jedi will be hunted down and defeated!" Palpatine declared.

Bail watched in alarm as the majority of the senate burst into applause, as though in a trance. Was it so easy for them to buy into Palpatine's propaganda?

"Unfortunately, the Jedi had help in this plot. Someone I had once considered a close personal friend, Senator Padme Amidala of Naboo!"

Bail could not keep the look of shock off his face as the chamber erupted in shouting voices that were a mix of disbelief, anger and denial.

"I assure you, I did not want to believe it myself. I considered Padme a dear friend, almost like a daughter. Her betrayal breaks my heart. But she has been working with the Jedi for a long time now. And their need be no more proof of her betrayal than her medical condition," Palpatine said, his voice seeming to lull the chamber into silence. "Padme Amidala is currently pregnant. And the father of her child is none other than the Jedi traitor, Anakin Skywalker!"

Bail felt as though someone was playing some twisted joke on him, barely aware as the chamber once more erupted into shouts of anger and denial. In truth, he had long suspected that Padme had feelings for Anakin; she wasn't exactly subtle about her worry whenever there was news than Anakin had been injured. But he'd never suspected a relationship between them, given the Jedi code. Even a Jedi as unorthodox as Anakin had to follow it. Except apparently not.

"The former Senator Amidala has been stripped of her title, arrested and is currently in a holding cell while she awaits trial. I assure you, Padme will face justice for her crimes, as will the remaining Jedi who still plague us!" Palpatine declared and a large portion of the chamber burst into applause.

"This cannot be happening," Mon whispered next to Bail.

Silently, Bail agreed. He felt like he was in a bad dream. But he wasn't, he was wide awake and this was reality.

Dagobah

Same time

"It's good to see you all again. And good to meet you as well, Ahsoka Tano," Qui-Gon said as they all sat on some logs away from the TARDIS.

Ahsoka merely nodded, still not believing what was happening. Both Anakin and Obi-Wan had told her a few stories about Qui-Gon, but she could hardly believe she was sitting here, listening to and seeing him.

"Qui-Gon, why are we here?" Windu asked and Qui-Gon glanced at him.

"Still so impatient, old friend," Qui-Gon chided gently and Windu scowled. "The Sith have taken over the Republic. But there is still a chance to take it back. And it could have been so much worse."

"Worse? Master, I don't see how it could possibly be worse," Obi-Wan said in disbelief.

Qui-Gon stared at him silently before glancing over at Anakin. Anakin was unnerved by the look on Qui-Gon's face.

"Anakin, I need you to come with me," Qui-Gon said as he seemed to get to his feet.

Anakin stared at him perplex, glancing at Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan looked just as clueless as him and merely shrugged. On Obi-Wan's right, Yoda saw the exchange and gave a subtle nod to Anakin. Reluctantly, Anakin got to his feet.

As Qui-Gon led him a little away from the rest of the group, a chill ran down Anakin's spine. Looking around, Anakin saw a cave and realized that was where the feeling was coming from.

"You can feel it, can't you Anakin?" Qui-Gon said knowingly as the others watched curiously.

"What is that?" Anakin asked slowly.

"The cave is strong with the dark side. And you must enter it," Qui-Gon said, to the shock of all of them.

"Why? What's in there?" Anakin asked warily.

"Only what you take with you. You must face it Anakin," Qui-Gon said before glancing at Anakin's lightsaber. "You will not need that."

Anakin glanced down at his lightsaber, his instincts screaming at him to take it in there, face whatever was there. But he did as Qui-Gon said, unclipping it from his belt, turning around and tossing it to Obi-Wan, who caught it instinctively.

"I want to say good luck, but I'm not sure that's appropriate," Ahsoka noted and Anakin smiled tightly.

"Me either. But thanks Snips," Anakin said before turning back towards the cave.

He stared at it for a moment before entering it. The others watched, a little uneasily before Qui-Gon's voice spoke up.

"Whatever happens, whatever you hear, you must not enter the cave. This is for Anakin and Anakin alone," Qui-Gon warned him, vanishing into thin air before any of them could ask him for more information.

Anakin climbed down into the cave, looking around with distaste as he wondered what Qui-Gon was trying to do. As he walked further into the cave, he heard movement, and it wasn't from an animal. Looking ahead, Anakin paled as he saw a familiar figure.

"No. This is impossible. You're dead," Anakin muttered.

"Indeed I am. But I am still real," The Son said as he laughed manically at Anakin's face.

"You're a trick by the cave. You're an illusion," Anakin realized.

"Maybe, maybe not. But its time you know the truth," The Son said with a shrug.

"What truth?" Anakin asked, his hair standing on end.

"The Doctor has changed the future, your future specifically," The Son said, surprising Anakin. "You are living in an altered timeline. Let me show you the timeline that would have resulted had The Doctor not come."

Before Anakin could speak, dark mist spread all around them. Anakin looked in bewilderment as the mist faded, revealing a new scene around him.

He was in the Chancellor's office on Coruscant. Windu and Palpatine were engaged in a fierce lightsaber duel, purple and red blades clashing against each other as they fought against a shattered window. With a kick, Windu managed to disarm Palpatine and the Sith Lord fell on his back. Palpatine seemed to fearfully back up as Windu loomed over him when Anakin saw someone else enter the room. It was himself, Anakin realized as he saw another version of him walk up to the pair.

"You are under arrest my lord," Windu said mockingly, seeing the other Anakin and signaling for him to stop.

"Anakin, I told you it would come to this! The Jedi are talking over!" Palpatine cried.

"The oppression of the Sith will never return. You have lost," Windu said confidently.

"No. No, you will die," Palpatine snarled.

Palpatine raised his hands and blue lightning shot out from them. Windu raised his lightsaber defensively and the lightning was reflected back onto Palpatine's face.

"He is a traitor!" Palpatine shouted, pained as the lightning was reflected onto him.

"He is the traitor," Windu grunted as he pushed the lightning back with his lightsaber.

"I have the power to save the one you love! You must choose," Palpatine told the other Anakin and Anakin watched in shock as his face slowly became scarred and disfigured.

"Don't listen to him Anakin," Windu grunted, strained from the effort of holding back the lightning.

"Don't let him kill me. I can't hold it any longer. I'm too weak," Palpatine said, his voice growing weaker with each word. "I'm too weak."

The lightning faded from Palpatine's hands and Windu stood up, obviously exhausted as Palpatine slumped back, seeming dazed.

"Anakin. Help me. I can't hold it any longer. I'm too weak," Palpatine muttered, appearing barely conscious.

"I am going to end this, once and for all," Windu declared, to Anakin's surprise.

"You can't," the other Anakin declared. "He must stand trial."

"He has control of the Senate and the courts. He's too dangerous to be left alive," Windu argued.

Anakin only stared in disbelief, stunned that Master Windu of all people was throwing aside the code in such a way; he almost missed Palpatine's pleas for mercy.

"It's not the Jedi way," the other Anakin argued. "He must live!"

Anakin glanced at his other self, wondering why he was so determined to save Palpatine. By now, he clearly knew about him being a Sith. So why was he so desperate to save him?

"I need him," the other Anakin almost pleaded at this point.

Windu raised his lightsaber and the other Anakin seemed to snap. To Anakin's shock, with a roar, his other self-ignited his lightsaber and with a sharp jab, cut off Windu's lightsaber arm below the elbow. Anakin could only watch in horror as Windu cried out in agony before Palpatine smiled.

"Power! Ultimate power!" Palpatine cried, shooting out more lightning at Windu.

Anakin watched, horrified as Windu was shocked by the lightning, screaming all the while before Palpatine tossed the still screaming Jedi out the window with The Force. Anakin fell to his knees, in a state of shock as the other Anakin stumbled back, dropping his lightsaber as all but collapsed into a cushion.

"What have I done?" the two Anakins asked together.

"You are fulfilling your destiny Anakin," Palpatine said as he managed to pull himself to his feet. "Become my apprentice. Learn to use the Dark Side of The Force."

Anakin could only watch in shock as a change seemed to come over the other Anakin and he looked up at Palpatine, Anakin's blood running cold at his next words.

"I will do whatever you as-ask," the other Anakin said shakily.

"Goood," Palpatine said with a sadistic smirk.

"Just help me save Padme's life. I can't live without here," the other Anakin pleaded.

"To cheat death is a power only one has achieved. But if we work together, I know we can discover the secret," Palpatine said as the other Anakin left the chair, kneeling in front of Palpatine.

"I pledge myself to your teachings," Anakin looked at his other self in shock, wanting to shout at him not to do this, that he couldn't do this.

But the words wouldn't come.

"Good. Good. The Force is strong with you. A powerful Sith you will become. Henceforth, you shall be known as Darth…Vader."

Anakin watched in shock, horror and dismay as the scene changed again, the mist reshaping it to the other Anakin leading a battalion of Clones into the Temple.

No. Not Anakin. He could not do this and still be Anakin Skywalker.

"Stop it. Stop it, please," Anakin pleaded, watching in horror as Vader continued to march on. "STOP IT!"

Outside the cave, the others heard Anakin's shout. Ahsoka moved to go into the cave when Obi-Wan placed a hand on her shoulder, shaking his head. Reluctantly, Ahsoka stayed where she was, worried about Anakin.

The mist changed the scene again. Anakin found himself watching a platform on a planet he vaguely recognized as Mustafar. A Nabooian cruiser was on the platform when he saw a figure emerge from the structure behind him. It was Vader.

Anakin watched as Padme emerged from the cruiser, rushing to Vader. And he was filled with dread as he watched things play out.

"Obi-Wan. He told me terrible things," Padme began, clearly upset.

"What things?" Vader asked, a slight edge to his voice that had Anakin on edge.

"He said that you turned to the Dark Side. That you killed younglings," Padme said and Anakin's blood ran cold, even more so when he watched a cool smile flash across Vader's face.

"Obi-Wan is trying to turn you against me," Vader said calmly.

"He cares about us," Padme protested and Vader frowned.

"Us?"

"He knows. He wants to help you," Padme said and Anakin was taken aback only a moment as Padme continued. "Anakin, all I want is your love."

"Love can't save you Padme, only my new powers can do that," Vader argued.

"At what cost?! You're a good person, don't do this," Padme pleaded.

"I am becoming more powerful than any Jedi has ever dreamed, and I'm doing it all for you. To protect you," Vader said stubbornly.

"Come away with me, help me raise our child. Run away with me while we still can!" Padme pleaded.

But Anakin knew Vader wouldn't. He'd started down this path, and he knew once he gave into it, he couldn't stop.

"Don't you see, we don't have to run away anymore! I have brought peace to the Republic. I am more powerful than the Chancellor. I can overthrow him and then together, you and I can rule the galaxy. Make things the way we want to be," Vader argued.

Anakin could only stare at his future self in disbelief, wondering if turning to the Dark Side had driven him mad. Padme would never go for that. And he was proven right as she backed away from Vader.

"I don't believe what I'm hearing. Obi-Wan was right, you've changed," Padme said tearfully as hard look crossed Vader's face.

"I don't want to hear about Obi-Wan anymore. The Jedi turned against me, don't you turn against me," Vader said his voice hard.

"They didn't betray you! You betrayed them!" Anakin shouted, turning around to avoid looking at the scene. "I don't want to see anymore! Take it away!"

There was no response as the scene continued to play out before him.

"Anakin, you're breaking my heart. You are going down a path I can't follow," Padme said tearfully.

"Because of Obi-Wan," Vader said and Anakin detected a change in his voice that put him on edge.

"Run. Padme, run!" Anakin pleaded but was ignored.

"Because of what you've done! What you plan to do! Come back, come back now! I love you!" Padme pleaded.

"Liar!" Vader snarled, his gaze fixated on something behind Padme.

The two turned, both stunned to see Obi-Wan standing atop the ramp of Padme's ship.

"No! No!" Padme tried to explain as Vader approached her.

"You're with him! You brought him here to kill me!" Vader snarled.

Padme opened her mouth to explain but didn't get far. Anakin watched in horror as Vader brought his hand up, beginning to Force Choke her.

"Stop it! Stop it!" Anakin shouted as Obi-Wan made his way down the ramp.

"Let her go Anakin!" Obi-Wan shouted but Vader made no move to stop it. "Let. Her. Go."

After a few moments more, Vader stopped. But Anakin could find no relief as Padme dropped to the ground, hitting her head hard. Anakin stared at her, worry for his wife and child shooting through him.

"What have you done? What have you done?!" Anakin shouted at Vader.

Outside the cave, the other heard his once more. Ahsoka was about to ignore Obi-Wan and enter the cave when he spoke up.

"I know it's difficult, but we have to let him do this. Whatever is going in there, we can't be part of it. No matter how much we may want to," Obi-Wan said lowly.

Ahsoka was torn for a moment before, reluctantly, deciding to back off. For now.

In the cave, Anakin watched as the scene changed to the lava river of Mustafar. On top a piece of equipment, Vader and Obi-Wan were locked in a fierce duel, their blue lightsabers locked in a stalemate before Obi-Wan suddenly jumped off the equipment and onto a piece of nearby land.

"It's over Anakin! I have the high ground," Obi-Wan warned.

"You underestimate my power!" Vader declared, his eyes blazing a sithly yellow.

"Don't try it!" Obi-Wan pleaded.

With a roar, Vader jumped, intending on ending Obi-Wan once and for all. But, mid jump, Obi-Wan made two decisive cuts, cutting off Vader's legs and flesh arm. Vader cried out as he hit the ground, rolling towards the edge of the ground. Obi-Wan stared down at him before extinguishing his lightsaber.

"Kill him. Kill him so he can't hurt anyone else," Anakin pleaded with his old master.

Obi-Wan didn't hear him, merely staring down at Vader.

"You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring balance to The Force, not leave it in darkness!" Obi-Wan shouted, his pain evident.

Anakin watched the scene, physically pained as Obi-Wan grabbed his lightsaber before heading up the hill. But he paused, glancing back down at Vader.

"I hate you!" Vader snarled, glaring angrily at Obi-Wan.

"You were my brother Anakin! I loved you," Obi-Wan said brokenly.

It felt like a thousand lightsabers were being stabbed into Anakin's heart at once, seeing the pain he had caused his oldest friend.

Then, Vader's clothes caught fire and Anakin watched in shock as the fire consumed his entire body. Obi-Wan watched pain for a moment before he left, walking back up the hill.

Which was no more than Vader deserved. Let him suffer for his crimes, Anakin thought darkly.

The dark mist once more changed the scene. Now Anakin stood in some kind of laboratory. A figure laid on a table, dressed in a black suit, surrounded by medical droids. Only his badly burned face was visible. It took Anakin a moment to realize it was Vader.

Then, a mask was lowered onto Vader's head followed by an attachment. Soon, a deep, mechanical breathing filled the room. It sent chills down Anakin's spine.

The table was then lifted up and Palpatine approached, dressed in a black cloak.

"Lord Vader, can you hear me?"

"Yes Master," Vader said in a deep voice. "Where is Padme? Is she safe? Is she alright?"

"It seems in your anger, you killed her."

Anakin fell to his knees, shock overcoming him. He killed Padme? No. No, he couldn't have.

But Vader could, a traitorous part of his mind whispered.

Anakin was vaguely aware of Vader breaking out of the table, destroying the droids and room in anger before the scene changed again. Anakin wanted to know what more he could possibly be shown, what more evil he could do?

He got his answer. He didn't recognize this place, but he saw Vader, using The Force to two people, a dark aired child and a man wearing a white mask, towards him when an adult Togruta wielding two lightsabers rushed up behind him. Anakin realized with horror it was an adult Ahsoka.

Vader sensed her presence, turning around as she jumped towards him. Vader was unable to block in time and she struck one side of his mask with one of her lightsaber. Vader cried out in pain as he went down to the ground and Ahsoka fell as well. The young boy called to Ahsoka and she began pulling herself to her feet.

"Ahsoka."

Ahsoka's head jerked up at the sound of Vader's voice. Of his own voice, Anakin realized in dismay. She turned around to see Vader kneeling down before he turned his head, revealing a hole in his mask big enough to reveal his yellow eye.

"Ahsoka," Vader repeated as she stared in horror.

"Anakin," Ahsoka breathed.

Vader pulled himself to his feet as Ahsoka seemed to overcome her shock, her resolve clearly hardening.

"I won't leave you! Not this time," Ahsoka declared.

"Run, please. You can't save me," Anakin pleaded desperately, although he knew she couldn't hear him. "Please Ahsoka, don't let me kill you to."

For a moment, Vader didn't say anything, his visible eying seeming sad. Then, it hardened.

"Then you will die," Vader said coldly before reigniting his red lightsaber and beginning to approach her.

"Ahsoka!" The boy was beginning to run back towards Ahsoka when she turned around.

Using The Force, Ahsoka pushed the boy back and lower the door. Ahsoka then ignited her lightsabers, blocking Vader's strikes. Vader backed her up when the pair both noticed the temple then were in shoot energy out of it.

Ahsoka took advantage of Vader's distraction, Force pushing him back before stabbing her lightsabers into the ground. This caused multiple cracks to appear in the floor before Vader raised his lightsaber and swung.

Outside the cave, the four Jedi started as they heard Anakin's agonized wail. Ignoring her earlier decision, Ahsoka made a break for the cave and Obi-Wan made no move to stop her. He was actually halfway after her when Yoda jumped in front of them, blocking their path.

"Enter the cave, you will not," Yoda said sternly.

"Master-" Ahsoka began.

"Understand your feelings, I do. But face this alone, Skywalker must," Yoda said softly but firmly, his eyes shining with compassion.

"Ahsoka, he's right," Obi-Wan said as he took a deep breath, regaining his senses. "Master Qui-Gon would never put Anakin in danger. Whatever he's facing, we have to believe he'll be stronger for it."

Ahsoka wanted to protest, to go through them and help her master. But, she took a deep breath and calmed herself.

"I hope you're right masters, "Ahsoka muttered, looking at the entrance of the cave worriedly.

Anakin had fallen to his knees and was vomiting. Coughing once he was done, Anakin looked up, seeing the visions and The Son were gone, leaving only the cave.

"I'm sorry Anakin," Qui-Gon said softly as he appeared by Anakin's side.

"Why? Why make me see that? What was the point?" Anakin asked gruffly, pulling himself to his feet as he glanced at Qui-Gon.

"So you can understand Sidious's plan. He will try to tempt you, to turn you. So you can know why you must never give in. You are the chosen one, you will bring balance Anakin. Of this I have no doubt. But you must remain who you are. Let those you know you can trust in, do not give into your darker instincts. Be the Jedi that I know you can be," Qui-Gon said gently before he vanished, leaving Anakin alone in the cave.

The four Jedi stood outside the cave, waiting for Anakin to emerge. It had been silent for a few minutes now. Finally, they saw Anakin emerge. Obi-Wan and Ahsoka were disturbed by how shaken Anakin seemed.

"Skywalker, what did you see?" Windu asked, pausing as, to their confusion, Anakin seemed to flinch at the sound of his voice.

"I…I need to be alone," Anakin muttered, walking passed them and heading towards the TARDIS without looking at any of them.

The four Jedi looked after him, concerned and confused by what could have gotten such a reaction out of Anakin.

Poor Anakin. I honestly felt really bad doing this to him.

Anyway, The Master/Palpatine's not turning the Republic into the Empire yet, as he'll want to either turn Anakin first or kill him. And the Clone Wars are still pretty much going on as well.

It's also a very Palatine thing to do to reveal Padme's situation in order to try and draw Anakin out, so we'll see how that plays out.

The Son would be played by James Masters.
