"you don't understand, this girl Kadi Brown, her and Paige were cell mates, Paige tried to commit suicide by bathing herself in the prison's bleach supply, Kadi saved her, Paige would have been dead long before that judge even had a chance to overturn the conviction, it's because of Kadi that Paige is even here today, if you get her here, with Cat and Paige and I, I can guarantee Kadi will never reoffend" says Andre

"Patricia and Quintin Brown, the best hush money lawyers in this country, Cat says the judge knew about the rapes, maybe even raped her himself" says Andre
"I'll talk to a judge, I can't promise anything, though the way you were talking this will mean a quad, Kadi if released will not be protected under the protection order" says Alexander
"if that happens we'll deal with it, this is Paige's issue, even if her parents were stupidly religious Paige was raised to repay debts, of all kinds, Kadi saved Paige's life, if Paige can see Kadi's face one last time that's all that she wants, Paige has been back and forth about retracting her testimony, over guilt about not repaying the life debt Kadi put in place by saving her life" says Andre
"Paige's testimony puts everything into perspective, if she retracts her testimony Logan might actually get away with it" says Alexander
"guilt has a way of showing up at the last moment dad, you remember moms last guilt ridden words before you divorced her, Paige never got a chance to thank her, Kadi was punished for saving Paige's life, she was put in confinement and raped for several days straight, then raped again the day they released Paige, they walked Paige by Kadi's confinement room, she had to listen to Kadi scream in pain for five minutes before Kadi was silenced, likely with a pillow, that experience leads Paige to believe that her getting released caused Kadi to be raped then killed, Paige can't live with that guilt dad, she's stopped taking her meds, she's back in the throws of rampant paranoia, she will NOT take her meds until she sees Kadi's face" says Andre

At the prison 4 hours later
"I'm here for Kadi Brown's release" says Alexander
"do you have the court order" asks a very snarky prison guard
"right here, bring me to her, you are not to touch her" says Alexander delivering the court order
"just as well she's useless here now, can't see straight and drools like a retard" says the snarky prison guard as he walks Alexander to Kadi's prison cell
"oh have your way with her did you, expect a warrant for your arrest in the coming days, you and your friends are going down for this" says Alexander
"that's confidential information, you're not supposed to know what happens in here" says the now slightly less snarky prison guard as he opens Kadi's door to a terrified naked Kadi
"please no, I'll do anything, I just need a break" pleads Kadi clearly on some sort of drug
"Kadi, Stormy sent me, I'm saving you" says Alexander as Kadi runs out and clings to Alexander
"Stormy's still alive" asks Kadi as she begins to drool
"she's your problem now" says the snarky prison guard as Kadi and Alexander walk to the exits
"Kadi Brown's clothes and items please" says Alexander
"I just checked, she doesn't seem to have any belongings here, the record show they were taken to her old house this morning, on the judge's orders, I wish I could be of more help" says FBI Guard Brian
"then get me a towel or something, a group of guards has been raping her, essentially nonstop, I can't take her out of here naked Brian, the FBI are about to RAID the prison to arrest the rapist prison guards you told me about, I have a towel in my car, go get it and bring it back, I'll never be forgiven if I traumatize her more" says Alexander handing Brian his keys
"Stormy didn't send you did she" asks Kadi as the drooling subsides slightly
"I'm an FBI special agent, I don't get to know the nitty gritty, only what I need to know, all I was told by your former cell mate was that 'Stormy sent me' was code so that you'd trust me, she carries much guilt about you saving her life, she thought you were killed the day she was released, they held her for five minutes outside your solidarity confinement door as someone raped you then silenced you" says Alexander as Kadi yet again begins drooling as agent Brian arrives with the towel from Alexander's car
"here's the towel" says Brian handing Alexander the towel and the keys
"thanks, please open the door" says Alexander quickly wrapping Kadi up in the towel
"she's not looking so good A, she might need a hospital visit" says Brian as he opens the door and Alexander walks through it with Kadi
"she can talk just fine, Brian, she doesn't trust anyone that works here, I believe the drooling is the result of a minor allergic reaction to whatever drug the guards that raped her put her on, she can slow the drool just enough to get short understandable sentences out but after that she loses control, the walk from her cell to here she had a firm grip on my sleeve, my guess is the allergic reaction is blinding her first" says Alexander as he leave the prison and approaches his car
"boss when do we raid, we're getting ansy, no prisoner should be raped by the guards, other prisoners is one thing but the guards are supposed to be the arm of justice in there, they are supposed to keep things nonviolent in there, just thinking about the women getting raped by guards makes me sick, let alone a girl her age" says Agent Bill Francis

"do I even want to know Alexander" asks Doctor Brown
"Kadi Brown Doc, I think it's an allergic reaction" says Alexander
"you had to say Kadi didn't you, now nobody will treat her, meaning as a relative of hers I have no choice, what's the situation, what caused it" says Doctor Brown
"I assume you know the official story, the one she was convicted on" asks Alexander
"yeah but I don't believe a word of it, my third cousins were always looking for illegal stuff, I don't believe she didn't have a reason to kill them, Kadi has never exactly been strong, I don't know how she got the upper hand I'm just glad she did" says Doctor Brown
"they were raping her, she'd finally told a teacher so they tried to kill her for telling on them, the trial was a total sham, no jury and they forced her into a ball gag, anyway she's free now, even if with conditions, she's drooling ninety percent of the time and she can barely see, is it fixable" says Alexander
"those bumbling bafoons for guards they nearly killed her, Kadi sweetheart, I need to take some blood for a test, is that ok" says Doctor Brown as Kadi nods
"what is it" asks Alexander
"medication she's deadly allergic to, it goes after her eyes then the saliva glands, she's one of about a hundred and fifty other people with such an allergy but she's the only one with that specific pattern and the only one still alive in LA" says Doctor Brown as he begins drawing blood and Kadi looks away
"she has the fear of blood doesn't she" asks Alexander
"Yes, anyway while I'm testing for the medication in her blood turn her so that her head and legs are hanging over the edge and she's on her stomach" says Doctor Brown
"ok however I need a good reason, she jumped every time the nurse tried to put an iv line in, she's not fond of it here as it is" says Alexander
"oh believe me I know, there's a bucket on the left side of the bed, turn her that way or move the bucket to the right side, either way the saliva needs to drain, otherwise she might choke on it, the medication makes her saliva thick and not travel easily, the test should only take half an hour and the antidote will take about an hour to kick in, after that she can leave once we make sure she can see" says Doctor Brown
"and you're sure she'll survive this, she seems pretty scared" asks Alexander
"if her chances were low her neck muscles would get stiff, similar to how Meningitis affects one's body, the allergy spawns a blood thickening reaction, the drip she's on is a blood thinner, it gives us time, as long as her arms, legs and neck don't stiffen up we're fine" says Doctor Brown
45 minutes later
"ok fifteen minutes on the antidote, Kadi how are you feeling" asks Alexander as Doctor Brown awaits a response as well
"better" says Kadi
"better how, we need you to keep talking, or at the very least keep responding to our questions" says Doctor Brown
"like I'm not dying" says Kadi
"what about your eyes" asks Alexander
"fuzzy but then again I've always needed glasses, I'd say better than before, at least my eyes are pointing in the same direction now" says Kadi
"how about your mouth, you're not drooling as much" asks Doctor Brown
"better, it felt like almost setting glue before, now it feels like jello" says Kadi
"that's better than I expected, in fifteen minutes you can go wherever agent Harris is taking you but if you feel it coming back have whoever he leaves you with give you another injection, in the thigh just like I did ok" says Doctor Brown
"yes uncle Theo, I understand, just like my epi-pen" says Kadi
"would an epi-pen have worked" asks Alexander
"not likely at this stage, and absolutely nowhere near as fast as this, if her eyes were jiggly then yes but at this stage her eyes were barely attached to the muscle, her eyes were basically more or less sitting loose in the sockets with minimal nerve or muscle attachment, the allergy for Kadi is like a toxin, it detaches everything it can to save energy for the toxin to feed on, had it run its course she'd have been frozen in place, likely missing an eye or two but fully aware of what's happening to her, it would be a slow and painful death, not a word of this to any of them, understand Alex" says Doctor Brown
"absolutely" says Alexander
after treatment, a stop at a clothing store and some food, 5pm at PCA
"is she ok" asks Andre
"is Stormy available" asks Alexander nodding
"not at the moment, I showed Stormy the picture you sent me and she took her pills, it'll be an hour until she's stable enough to see Kadi, until then we have a nice comfy bed for her to nap on, I'm sure she's tired after everything she's been through" says Andre
"Kadi what do you think" asks Alexander
"I'd like the couch over there for now, laying in a bed alone is traumatic for me, before Stormy showed up I was begging them to be the first to illegally kill a teenager, then she showed up and things got worse and they moved the date way into the future, then Paige got released and they acted as if every day would be my last but it never was" says Kadi
"well tonight's movie night so it's going to be crowded" says Quinn as Kadi points to Andre
"he helped Stormy save my life, if I have to be around someone it has to be him, nobody but him, Stormy and KittyKat can touch me, I owe Agent surplus kindness here money for these clothes and the food he got me while we were out, I have to find a way to pay him back" says Kadi as Valerie arrives into the room with Paige and Cat
"she doesn't owe me anything, an act of kindness doesn't require repayment, she won't take my answer as fact, she insists on paying me back" says Alexander

"feeling better" asks Alexander as Kadi's jaw drops
"mostly, what did Kempers say about her freedom" says Paige
"he said that as long as you're on your meds, you get to dictate what she can and can't do" says Alexander
"that's treating her like property, I won't do that" says Paige
"she did still murder her sexually abusive parents, self defense or not it's still murder, Andre said if she was brought here to you guys that he could make sure she would never reoffend, unfortunately you know her better so Kempers put her future in your hands, treat her as your equal or don't, that's up to you, however one rule he made clear had to stay in place was as follows, anytime Kadi is outside your dorm room she is to be cuffed, she's been enrolled in the local remote learning program here as ordered by Kempers" says Alexander
"what does she have to do to become truly free" asks Paige
"she has to write down everything she can remember about what her parents did to her, from beatings to sexual abuse, that includes if they ever tied her up, the judge who convicted her has been removed from the bench for severe judicial misconduct while an investigation occurs, if enough is found he will be permanently removed from the bench and will be put on trial" says Alexander
"does she have to do it now or can it wait, I don't want her traumatizing herself too early" asks Paige as Kadi runs and hugs her
"the investigation will take a few months, maybe longer if there's a lot of judicial misconduct, as long as we get her statement before the end of the investigation that's all that matters" says Alexander handing the cuffs and the key to Andre
"did Kempers say anything about not being allowed to form a quad" asks Paige
"to form or not to form, that's between you, Kadi, Andre and Cat, however until the information if given and her name is cleared he is unable to give her any sort of protection order, he did say that Kadi would have to be a satellite lover, not directly involved, even if said satellite lover behavior is only on the surface, legally she isn't a free teen until we get that information, until then she is to be cuffed whenever she leaves your dorm room, Kempers was very clear about that" says Alexander
"Quinn is there any chance you could direct a feed of the movie to the tv in our room, kadi's made it obvious that she's nervous and I think the privacy would be best, at least for now, we'll see about tomorrow" says Andre
"tonight was supposed to be a group movie night, everyone's coming, even Dana, Lola and Shelby, Dana wanted to bond with the rest of us before the trial starts on Monday, her eyes lit up when I said Kadi's name, she seemed interested, she said her parents had family ties to the Brown family and 'uncle Theo' as she called the doctor that helped Cat and Paige, she's never been too open about her family before, she's never been this open about anything with anyone, not even Lola" says Quinn

"Judge Kempers is the federal Human Rights judge in California and the only true politically independent judge ever appointed to federal judicial office anywhere in the US, he rules on all human rights cases, he advised the judge to put a public death on a vote for the jury to decide, hanging or otherwise" says Alexander
"why would he do that" asks Valerie shocked
"Logan gave advice to anyone who asked him, at minimum seventy percent of the girls on PCA student roll call were abused, sexualize or on a few occasions raped based on advice Logan gave them, I've interviewed a few of the boys in the abuse category, all of them say 'I loved her, Logan said that's how you show a girl you love them' or something to that effect, Logan played a role in all of the abuse, sexualization and rape that those boys partook in, he gave the advice and when things got out of control he encouraged them to go further, Kempers wants to set an example, he wants girls and women to be able to attend school without fear of being sexualized, pressured into sex or fear of being raped, Logan tricked so many boys into committing evil actions alongside his own evil actions, he gave the prosecutor a good closing message" says Alexander

"I moved everything to my house, it was one of the things you and I talked about before the amnesia incident, you didn't want to move unless Trina also moved, all of us in this dorm and Izzy and them are moving into my house, that's where we'll be on Monday, Rivers doesn't want us here on the trial date, the FBI is removing their protection to secure the courthouse on Monday, same with the LAPD, the security system PCA has simply isn't strong enough on its own to protect us if Logan sends people to attack us during the trial, thanks to Cat and Dana's out of USA family influence we're getting a presidential level protective Limo or two, whether the trial results in a conviction or not we'll be there all week for protection reasons, I wanted you to feel safe with things you know are safe, you've only ever spent a few minutes in my room, you always leave and head back home because you feel uncomfortable, Tori we're basically married at this point in all ways but recognized by the government, everyone connected to us and everyone in this dorm will be there" says Jade
