"how long has the trial been going on for" asks Dana
"about an hour and a half, it's going well for us" says Quinn

"the prosecutor changed her mind, nobody is testifying in person except for Chase and Michael" says Quinn

"because of the proximity to Logan, the judge reversed his deal with the prosecutor for Cat and Paige's testimony, Cat literally got angry at the judge when the defence asked why she wasn't there in person as she'd promised, believe me the judge actually sank in his chair, apparently he forgot that it would be broadcast on all TV networks, Cat literally forced the judge to enforce the original deal even though neither Cat nor Paige would be testifying in person, Cat exposed the corruption but I can't tell if Logan's lawyer planned that or not, Cat's been pretty tight lipped" says Quinn
"Logan planned it, not his lawyer, the opening testimony from Logan was about his actions but he sneakily brought up the whole deal for in person testimony and revealed that the judge broke said deal, Logan's obviously looking for a mistrial but so far he's not getting it" says Andre
"really" asks Dana afraid to be thankful
"that's how it seems, even if a mistrial is declared I don't see it being in Logan's favour, Lucy's taped testimony is next" says Paige
"oh God, how do you think it will go over with the Jury" asks Quinn
"the jury gave Logan death glares throughout most of Cat's testimony, it's already been established that Lucy is Cat's little sister so I don't imagine it will go over well, who knows, the jury might make a decision after hearing Lucy and Trisha's testimony" says Andre
"that would be seen as a malicious trial and not something Cat, Lucy or I would see as legitimate even if it achieved the outcome we hoped for" says Dana
"you have a point Dana but that doesn't mean I can't hope for as little retraumatization as possible, you can say I worry too much but Cat's pregnant, possibly with twins based on recent tests" says Andre as Izzy walks over
"not to seem rude Andre but Cat of all people would know absolutely if it were twins" says Isabella

"as long as the babies remains healthy her visions of the future will show them in the vision, Cat lacks introspection in some parts of her life but hunger isn't one of them, she's well aware of her bodies hunger needs, that's why she always has some form of food on her, usually candy or easy to eat baked goods" says Isabella
"what about her edibles, I haven't seen her eat them in a while, not since early November last year, it concerns me because Doctor Brown said she can't stop taking them" says Andre
"she knows better than to stop, her instability off edibles would absolutely be a danger to the babies, the medication she would have to be on if she stopped the edibles would absolutely cause a miscarriage, you'd notice a drastic change in her personality as well, what she's doing is nibbling on the cookies throughout the day instead of all at once in the morning, it's less risk to the baby or babies as it may very well be, family history shows that the firstborn is usually twins though Cat has bucked quite a few set in stone family trends, including being a health nut most of the time, it has however caused her mental instability" says Isabella

"her metabolism is higher than you or I's, though apparently not while pregnant, anyway she tried this salad only diet a few years back, it wasn't enough calories and nearly killed her, all because someone called her fat once or twice, I woke up one day to find her unresponsive, I'd thought she'd died and called Valerie, Valerie came home from work and rushed her to the hospital, I never left her side, the doctor told us she'd fallen into a 'protective' coma to protect her organs and that she would die unless they flooded her system with calories, Valerie gave them permission to hang several nutrient bags, her body began looking better and better but she was still in a coma, she remained in a coma for three weeks, which got her to the end of that school year at PCA, when she came to, it was time to take her to that freak science camp that ended up caring little about science but she met Rosie so it wasn't all bad, after that incident she would compromise, she'd still eat healthier than most people but she'd have candy on her at all times, she went from a single meal a day to two meals a day and snacks throughout the day" says Paige
"I don't think her eating THAT much candy is a good thing Paige, while pregnant fine but it's not safe when she's not pregnant, she could get diabetes" says Dana
"she already has sugar level issues" says Isabella
"wait so she is diabetic" asks Dana
"not exactly, without steady sugar her blood sugar levels can go from a two on the blood sugar monitor thing to a nine or anything in between, all without her doing a single thing different, most days she's what you'd call hypoglycemic but sometimes her sugar goes high in a hyperglycemic episode, as counterintuitive as it sounds adding a steady and monitored sugar source seems to keep her sugar levels between a five and a six point five on the blood sugar monitor thing with less severe spikes and drops when said spikes or drops do happen, they're at least not life threatening" says Paige as Jade walks over as Lucy's testimony starts
"I'd advise you not watch Lucy's testimony, the stream has been muted on the courts end specifically because of how graphic it is" says Cat as she walks down with Lucy, Dustin and Sofie
"I'm glad you're here now Cat, I spoke with Dean Rivers and we're all going remote learning as of next week, meaning we will be living here as of tonight, he's giving us a week to deal with the trial without school stress though we have the option to email him and request homework to distract us if we desire, if anyone is uncomfortable in their current room we can shuffle things around till everyone is more comfortable" says Jade
"Cat wants us to have the room down here, she sometimes has to pee in the middle of the night and she can be clumsy when she's half asleep" says Andre
"that's Marissa's room and bathroom, they're off limits to everyone, including me, does she have any particular issues with the regular bathroom on the second floor" says Jade
"it's the kind of bathroom that Logan would have me take my pictures in, PCA bathrooms are rather large, so are Hollywood Art's bathrooms, as is the one at my house, bot my aunts and my parents original home, Logan loved seeing me take naked pictures in risky locations aka public bathrooms, it's just too big, I'll use it but I won't like using it alone" says Cat

"he wasn't that kind of person, he was controlling not abusive, he had a reason for the mirrors, the things I tended to hide were extremely valuable, in one case the whole set of pure silver silverware worth over two million dollars, if he claimed them as stolen then they reappeared because I'd just hidden them he would have gone away for fraud, he wasn't aggressive towards me until he found out I liked girls, anyway that bathroom was designed to have someone stand guard for safety, being in a quad means that you can ask one to go with you to the bathroom, Kadi was up all night so she might be a night owl" says Jade as Andre smirks
"that's not why she was up all night, in our room Cat was the only one that slept most of the night and only got up because she was first up on the trial" says Andre

"Valkyrie Viktoria Valentina, she's Swedish and she runs triple V backup services, which is the company my parents used to back up security camera footage, every time the cameras capture a crime the video is automatically backed up, the video is then reviewed by software for crimes, if found they're encrypted with police software so a criminal can't just hack into their servers and delete the video" says Katie
"so what's the access code, what do I tell her when I call to get access to all the security system video" asks Valerie
"tell her SfS sent you, she'll know what it means and she'll give you access to everything, every video they have, mom and dad set up a camera in my room so they could watch back the rape videos for themselves later, the murder happened in my room, you have to understand I didn't have a choice, it was either defend myself or they'd keep raping me or even kill me" says Katie

"there is nothing anyone could have done, believe me people tried, I was kidnapped three times, I was never in danger from my kidnappers, their intentions were pure, it didn't matter to my parents, they had two thrown in jail and only one remains alive today, uncle Theo is the only surviving kidnapper, my three days with him were pure joy, I'd never felt happier nor more safe but then the police came and took me back to mom and dad and life was hell again, nobody believed uncle Theo when he said my parents were raping me, my parents had several judges wrapped around their little fingers" says Katie

"her room would have been like a trophy to him, like when a police department raids a big drug dealers operation, the spoils and the home are coveted by officers, in his mind he slayed the bad dragon and the house is his reward and her bedroom is his shrine to the dragon he killed" says Jade
"you know so much about him why" asks Valerie suspicious yet relieved to have some information
"my dad was quite paranoid, he had secret docket files on a few corrupt judges, he was always looking over his shoulder for judges looking to steal from him or corruptly shut down his businesses" says Jade
"so he wasn't as evil as he seemed" says Andre
"not towards me anyway, not until I came out to him so I could be with Tori, only then did he go bonkers at me, anyone and everyone he talked to or did business with had to go through extensive background checks, including medical records, when he heard I wanted to date Tori he demanded medical records, I told him no and he went nuts so to prove a point I asked for his medical records, which is when he told me to get my stuff and leave" says Jade
"which is why your dad is in jail to begin with, you're absolutely sure that your dad never worked with him" says Valerie
"once when I was three, though it was more consulting than working with, my dad wanted advice about zoning for a new building dad was putting up, he told me he didn't like how Judge Carl was looking at me, I still have the files if you'd like them" says Jade
"it's the FBI's investigation, I'll let them know that you have information they need, Katie is there anything you'd like from your room" says Valerie
"isn't it evidence" asks Katie
"the FBI has already been in your room, the only thing they were interested in were the bullets and the blood, Kempers ruled that anything not immediately required by the investigation was to be returned to you and from that if there was anything you believe would be important to the investigation you would likely hand it to the FBI, their current understanding of the situation is that you didn't intend to kill your parents even though they raped you" says Valerie reading the letter
"that letter is all I can remember right now, Andre's dad said I needed to submit evidence of my parents crimes for him to overturn my conviction, I never intended for them to die, they'd given me a choice, defend myself and they'd stop raping me or they'd kill me, dad had a knife and mom had the gun, I had little choice, I shot their ankles so they couldn't walk away, I bandaged them up after telling them that Jesus would never forgive them for what they've done to me and that I'd never forgive them, I tried my best to make sure it wouldn't get infected, my plan was to call the police and explain everything but they had a heart attack or stroke or something before I had the chance, I wanted them to pay for what they'd done, instead I paid the price, I was raped in prison almost every day, got pregnant four times and was made to carry one of them to term, the only time I was safe was when I was next to Paige, before and after Paige I was never safe" says Katie

"I need that answer, how would you suggest I get that answer without scaring him into lying, neither of her parents had the proportions to create a baby as symmetrical as Katie" says Judge Kempers

"he only just found out yesterday when under suspicion Valerie asked us to test her DNA against his, before that he had no idea, though it does make sense, they're both color blind in the exact same way because of the color of their eyes, grey eyes on their own are extremely rare but they both have a silvery white tint to them, it's extremely rare in general, it would be even rarer if they weren't related directly, DNA tests absolutely proved he's the father but he redid the test and comparison four times before he realized it was true, his apartment is across town, half an hour away from the hospital at best, an hour or longer at worst, Jade has offered him a space in her house as its half an hour away from the hospital at worst even given the distance to PIH, his lease is ending soon but Jade won't let him move in unless you say it's ok" says Agent Moors
"Katie's conviction will be overturned completely tomorrow morning, Jade will need a renters agreement" says Judge Kempers
"it's a basement apartment deal would a lease work better" asks Valerie
"it's a private home, renting is preferred though if it's a full basement apartment then she can set the rent at whatever level she wants as long as Theodore is able to pay it and still have money to feed himself" says Judge Kempers
"so just to be clear, Jade has permission to let him move in" asks Valerie
"legally yes, even if the relationship between Katie, Cat, Paige and Andre turns sexual for Katie it is best that she be able to easily interact with her father, it will aid in healing, being around a non abusive parent can be good for all of them honestly" says Judge Kempers

"when Isabella was reunited with her twin sister they kinda sorta started dating, well dating a common girl and only kissing each other on the side, I told them that was as far as I'd let them go or one of them would be arrested, That's where Cat and Isabella differ, Isabella is okay having romantic feelings for her twin sister, even if it means only ever getting to kiss Ariel daily and nothing more intense than that, the idea that Cat could be the same way makes Cat sick to her stomach, it always has, unfortunately sharing experiences like kissing with twins kinda runs in the family, I kissed Valerie for years but that's as far as it went, Isabella shares my way of life, Cat doesn't" says Valerie

"it's in Violet's interest to let things happen as they do, if a romantic bond happens it could ruin Catarina and Violet if we separate them, Judge, I know it's a bad thing to ask for but please don't count it against them if anything happens between them, Cat's always wanted a big family which applies to more than just children for Catarina, she used to draw a family of four or five parents and several children, with the only understandable name was Catarina, one might have been Violet but its hard to tell, she loved being cryptic about names and said cryptic names would change depending on who she was talking to, she's gotten more rigid and conforming as she got older, I asked her one time why she changed, her response was 'I don't want people hating me, I'd rather be who they want me to be than who I want to be if it means I don't get hurt', what people think of her matters to her more than you think it would, everyone around her has a political lens, granted she's surrounded by people who in general politically agree with her life choices, you don't have a particular political lens, you can view things from both sides and decide what is best with zero political influence, she doesn't have someone like that on her side, if someone attacked her for her polyamorous life choice, she would walk away so the others don't get targeted, the safety of others has always come first for her, the only time her safety came first was when Logan blackmailed her for pictures then threatened to share the pictures if she didn't keep sending them, all the victims except for Lucy were forced to send naked pictures, the picture thing is the ONLY time Cat has ever cared about her safety over that of others, she needs someone like you to tell her that what she feels is more important than what society shoves down her throat when it comes to societal norms" says Riley Moors
