An excerpt from the writings of Luke, the Apostle of Jesus Christ, recounting the acts and deeds of Peter Cephas, the first among Apostles.
At the time when Aemon Targaryen and his aunt Daenerys waged war against the white demons beyond the Wall, Aegon the False was building order in the southern kingdoms in their names (or, to be more accurate, he presented his rule in that way) and while waging war against the enemies of the Targaryen rule, he arrested Peter, for he considered his preaching a crime against his rule.
First he placed Peter under the custody of Petуr Baelish, Lord Paramount of the Trident, and after that he was placed under the custody of lord Tytos Brax, lord of Hornvale.
Suddenly, a message was sent to the lord Tytos, with the seal of Aegon, saying: "You have done your work well and now give Cephas, son of Jonas, into the hands of lord of the Iron Islands. Consider your crimes against the Dragon forgiven."
And Ironborn soldiers came and brought Peter with them to the Lordsport at Pyke, and Peter did not know what was happening, for soldiers neither mocked him nor threatened him, but treated him with respect.
And he was brought to the castle of Pyke, where lord Victarion of house Greyjoy ruled from, after his brother Euron has been killed with the white demons beyond the Wall.
And Victarion was a man of great stature, with a bull's broad chest and a boy's flat stomach, but his face was old and tired, with a hint of sadness in it. And he greeted Peter with a warm welcome and said to him: "I have lived not too long, but I have lived enough. I was never of sharp mind, but I still can see and comprehend the way of life. For long years I held to strength and raids as the way of life, but I finally saw through all of it and I hated the Drowned God in my heart, who taught me to live like this.
But I have heard of your Lord and all the miracles He preformed, and how He was raised from the dead. Truly, I ask you, nay, I beg you to baptize me in your Lord's name and to count me among your people, me and my servants and subjects."
And Peter rejoiced and agreed, and he brought Victarion to the water where Drowned priests drowned those they chose and there baptized Victarion. After this, many other houses baptized with Victarion, houses Goodbrother, Blacktyde and Drumm among them. And a great portion of people was baptized as well, three thousand of them and ten Drowned priests were baptized too.
Then Peter gathered them and sat in the midst of them, teaching them everything the Lord said and did.
