An excerpt from the writing of Rabbi Gamaliel, son of Simeon, to his son Simeon ben Gamaliel from the Jewish community in King's Landing, who supported Aegon the False in his persecution of Christians and others that didn't obey his law.

My son, you have sided yourself not with the Lord, not even with your neighbour, but with the enemy of both your neighbours and your Lord. You have turned your face against your brothers who follow Jesus of Nazareth, that righteous man of God who obeyed the law of God more than any of your teachers in King's Landing. And for what sake?

For those winged snakes who came from the East! Those twisted forms of human life who bow down to their winged beasts and worship them instead of the Lord and who procreate among themselves, being an abomination to both God and mankind! And not just that, for if they just married their close relatives, they could be justified by the fact they were brought up in another world, even if it's a twisted world.

But for what they do now, and for what they have done for three centuries of their reign and for what their ancestors before them did, for that there cannot be excuse! They kill, they slaughter, they consume power and worldly glory and they relish in the suffering of the world around them. The Targaryens are and always were monsters, and they do not know of compassion, love, mercy, kindness, loyalty, justice, wisdom and good faith. They only know of evil, cruelty, selfishness, greed, lust, pridefulness and power, and they care about their cursed iron chair more than about human lives and human souls, even their own!

Among the common folk there is a saying that Targaryens are children of Satan. And even though the learned know Satan can't have offspring, indeed, by their deeds and lives, they are the children of Satan.

All of them, except Jaehaerys, First of his name and his wife Alysanne, and their foresons Daeron, the Second of his name, Baelor Breaksper, Aegon, the Fifth of his name and Rhaegar. These six were indeed the examples of righteousness and goodness, the beloved people who escaped the curse of their ancestors and who have the right to be counted among the righteous. May they and their memory be blessed and may their souls dwell in the bossom of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

But among others of their kind, who turned from both the neighbour and God, this Aegon, the one you serve, he is their faithful son! For he breaks the law of both God and mankind, and he does the deeds of cruelty and malice, selfishness and greed. He is a liar of liars, murderer of murderers, wicked of wicked, and there is no repentance in his heart.

And make no mistake, the great and powerful who follow him and who followed his ancestors are just a little better than him, or, should I say, just slightly less wicked. Those who are given power over people, who misuse their power, who opress the widows and orphans, and who take and take to satisfy their greed and cruelty. And they have the audacity to call themselves "noblemen"! Noble! They! They have no right to power, let alone to call themselves that way!

They are the unrighteous judges, they are the gods of this world, and the power over this earth. Yet like you and me, mere mortals, they shall die and their bodies will rot in their graves. Our graves will be poor, and their will be beautiful, but it doesn't matter: their blood will cease to run and their bones will turn to ash just like yours and mine.

How many righteous souls were killed because of their greed? How many innocents were killed because of their selfishness? How much blood will be spilled because of them until the world is broken?

I can still remember the day I was in Crownlands, after Tywin Lannister, that demon in flesh, sacked King's Landing without mercy. He turned the people, the very same people that he slaughtered, against one another and convinced them to blindly follow Robert the Whorer and Drinker. He even turned many of our brethren in Crownlands into puppets and they did not rebel, no, they even aplauded the slaughter of innocents in King's Landing and some even went as far as to call it God's will. What blasphemy! God desires no blood of innocents to be spilled, for He is good!

And the righteous Zechariah, son of Berechiah, in the purity of his soul, knew that and he, as a holy priest, walked before his people and told them to stop. His words were not even filled with immediate judgement, but with brotherly love. For he said to them: "My brothers and sisters, how can you behave so? How can you rejoice in the death of the innocents and laugh when the blood of the righteous has been spilled? How can you stand here and enjoy bread and circuses and allow your souls to be eaten alive by the corruption and wickedness of evil? The Lord does not rejoice even when the wicked die, how do we have the right to rejoice when the innocents die?!"

And the Lannister men were there and Zechariah became angry and accused them: "You are those wicked! For Tywin Lannister has no real power over you, and neither does any 'lord' on this world. Tywin Lannister does not control your hands, nor your will, nor your mind. And when he told you: 'Kill.' you could have and should have said: 'I will not.' But you didn't, and unless you find your master and punish him for what he has done and unless you surrender yourselves to justice, you will not be forgiven. And if you hear me Robert, son of Steffon, listen to this: if you want your rule to be blessed by the Lord, punish Tywin Lannister, for Elia Martell and her children and for thousands of other women, men, and children he has slaughtered. If you do not do so, do not expect the Lord's blessing to come upon you!"

And for these words, the crowd seized him and beat him within an inch of his life. When they stopped beating him, he was all bloody and he couldn't stand on his own feet and collapsed. Then, the four Lannister men who were standing there and did nothing to stop this, took him and lead him to the center of the square. One of them took out his sword and beheaded him. And when that happened, the crowd cheered. The man of the man who beheaded him was Vylarr. I and the other rabbis with me begged the Lannisters for five days to give us his body and to let us bury him properly. They barely allowed.

My son, this is the kind you have acquainted yourself with! The kind that knows no remorse and boasts of their own misdeeds. Do not stay with them! I do not order you this as your teacher, but I am begging you as your father: turn away from them! Go away from the wicked rulers and join your brothers and sisters, even if that means death.

You know the Scriptures as good as I, and you know it says: "He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, both of them are an abomination to the Lord."

Leave that path, my son. Turn away from it! Lest you will lose your soul.
