An excerpt from the Gospel of Matthew, the Lord's Apostle. Matthew wrote this Gospel to the Jewish Christian community in the North, along with northern converts.
Jesus had done many wonderful works at Stonedance and the people loved Him, and they would listen to His teachings, and many of them even called Him Rabbi. And many of the Jewish authorities were afraid. "This man is taking the people from us and he even heals people on the Sabbath." and they sought to trick Him and turn the people against Him.
And they came to Him, and asked Him: "We know you are wise and a man of God, teacher. So tell us, answer a question we all need to know the answer to. Who is the king of Westeros, and who is protected by God's hand? Who is anointed with oil that David was annointed with? Is it Joffrey Baratheon, son of Robert, or his brother Stannis Baratheon? Or perhaps it was Renly Baratheon, the youngest one? May it be Robb Stark or the godless Balon Greyjoy? Or perhaps those who are not yet in Westeros: maybe the King on the other side, the Mance Rayder, or maybe the Targaryen beyond the Narrow Sea? Tell us, for we need to know."
They asked Him this because they knew whoever He proclaims, He will bring the wrath of many upon Himself.
But Jesus knew what they wanted. He also, unlike them, knew the answer that would satisfy the earthly laws, but He gave didn't give it to them. He gave them the true answer instead.
"Tell me this first: of these kings you named, whom had Isaiah and Ezekiel seen on the Throne of Glory?"
"We do not know. Suppose no one, since none of them is a child of Jacob."
"You have said so. And do you not remember what is said in the Scripture:
'Heavens cannot contain Him'.
and:
'He is the King of kings, God of gods'
Is He not the one Who says to the kings: 'You are worthless.' and to the nobles 'You are wicked.' Fo I tell you, no throne will stand on the Day of Resurrection, and no crown will be there to wear, for nothing will fit the True King.
And on earth, He is not the Lord of only Seven of Kingdoms, but the lord of Free Cities, and Dothraki, and Leng and Yi Ti, and the Ibben, and the land on the West and of the Sothoros and Asshai by the Shadow and of everything in and beyond the world, of what lies here and what lies beyond the circles of the world.
Not even the heaven can contain Him, let alone the whole Earth.
Therefore, tell me, how will Seven Kingdoms hold the Son of man and why would He care for them? And if He does not, why should you? So you tell me: to Whom do all the thrones and crowns belong?"
And they spoke no more and so left Him alone.
