Personal Log, Titus Deltano
Day 1 –
Landed on planet colloquially referred to as 'Earth' during final battle with Reapers. Saved by female human biotic and biotic comrades.
Difference between male and female of race obvious. Females appear to be more dangerous than males on first impression. Maternal instinct present. Intelligence and resilience varies by individual. Elderly as vulnerable as our own.
These humans may become a threat in the future. Will evaluate for future risk potential.
Surviving Crew Members – Listed in alphabetical order.
Aeliana, Justus (M); Anton, Magnus (M); Cicero, Tatiana (F); Decima, Philo (M); Flavius, Aurelia (F); Gallant, Cassius (M); Marillo, Cecil (M); Nerill, Tiberius (M); Prima, Antonia (F); Quintus, Felix (M); Tanaquil, Finch (M); Tullian, Atticus (M); Urban, Maximus (M); Vinnick, Cyprian (M); Vita, Remus (M); Walla, Cecilia (F)
Additional Citadel Survivors –
Vasa R'ila, Asari Commando, survivor of an obliterated Frigate (Name).
Calun Dravis, STG, survivor of an obliterated (ship type and name).
Day 2 –
Biotic humans Balencya (?) and Maathers (?) speak about starting over without human biotic Mycerra Collton (?). Gut tells me they're knee deep in shade.
Collton, Balencya and Maathers, along with biotics Wei Bohai and Wei Yu, started creating debris walls for protection of refugee camp. Worked hard for their own survival. Others assisted in various manners.
Elderly speak little. Youth and children show great resilience.
First day without food for humans. First day on rations for my crew.
I hope my family is alive and well on Palaven. I pray for them every day.
Day 3 –
Operation Refugee Camp underway. Furniture reclaimed from nearby buildings.
Humans pray in circles to a nameless god. Most don't share the details of their religion. Gleaned that blind faith and religiosity waned once humans colonized Mars. Hard times leading to people praying to a higher power, existing or not, is universal.
These humans look up to us for aid and assistance. Observations and years of experience tell me that partner, Balencya does not take kindly to this distinction. Maathers indifferent to it all.
Asari Commando and STG confident we will make it off the planet alive.
Day 4 –
Two human males join the group. They provided little information of scattered violence. Information passed between Balencya, Maathers, Collton and myself. (Remind me to place a tracker on human child named Galaxy. Sneakier and smarter than the others.)
No one answers the radio. Humans worried they might not find enough food to survive.
We prayed together as a group.
Day 5 –
Two males and one female join the group. They report smaller camps and raids by mercenary types. Female refugee a medic. She started to build a medical area for those in need.
Gunfire heard while on patrol of area. I believe their claims. Men are nervous we might not make it off this mudhole.
Why do we pray if no one answers? Is anyone listening?
Day 6 –
Four of my crew and the human twins Wei Bohai and Wei Yu discovered an underground greenhouse. Humans relieved. Human doctor mentioned Dextrose, a medication to increase Dextro amino acids in humans during surgery. I sent a team of three to investigate the hospital on the other side of the city for such a drug, although hope is thin.
Collton shows promise to be a strong leader, sabotaged by self doubt.
Group thinks she is capable of creating a safe haven. She vents in private to me about her concerns, all common. I can not abandon her in favor of turian supremacy. I can not abandon these people living on less than one full meal a day. I will do what I can to help them.
Day 7 –
Galaxy, human child, shows signs of high level mental development. Collton placed tracker on her. Caught the child wandering nearby ruins looking for her parents, insists they're still alive.
Food from garden turned to nutrient paste by medic and nutritionist survivor. I provided advice on how to ration it. Collton is uneasy with the potential of negative consequences regardless of the circumstances.
Haven, our camp, shows signs of society once more. My crew wish to be removed from this mudhole.
My mission is clear – survive and return home.
I pray I do not lose a single crew member before then.
Day 8 –
A teenaged human female wandered into camp in a daze. Muttered something about butcherers and cannibals. Sent out scouts to investigate. No gruesome discoveries to date. Will keep on our list of concerns.
I prayed with the crew and on my own. May the spirits guide us in these trying times.
Day 9 –
Placed a tail on Galaxy. Her search circle continues to expand further out. Alerted Collton about her strong will and personal mission.
One of my crew suggested we take her back with us to Palaven to be studied. I corrected him that kidnaping a human, a female child at that, would earn our race more than one raised brow regardless of the heirarchy's ability to clean it up.
I will ensure no human in this camp is harmed before our departure.
Day 10 –
Nine more survivors join us, majority old enough to be mobile, too old to be much use in a fight. Top priority for historical data collection. Compiled report on information they provided. Will send to Hierarchy if I escape this.
Garden produces increased food quantities. Made a copy of the schematics from the soil fertilizer and converter tech for our own future use. Quantities not enough to keep up with the growing number of survivors, a fish net in a flood.
Weather patterns are as resilient as the people. It rained today. The pattering sound made several people cry, more dancing in it while every one else sought cover in the tents.
I love it when it rains. Maybe there is hope after all.
Day 11 –
One of the elderly died from starvation and dehydration. Discovered they were giving their rations to the children. Collton handling it as well as a raging Krogan. Manageable but needs guidance on how to be a thicker skinned leader.
Teenagers decided to design a memorial wall in search of 'normal'.
My crew believes that we should try to influence these humans and I am not disagreeing with them. I do not believe that humans are that impressionable.
Day 12 –
Memorial wall constructed within two hours through the combined efforts of Maathers, Bohai, Yu, and Collton.
We created a section for Citadel races as well. Prayed for our survival. Rations running low. Always hungry.
We will survive this, we must.
Day 13 –
Someone tried to kidnap Galaxy. Did not tell Collton. Majority of camp recognizes her as leader. Must help her become better at the job. Corporal Prima suggests bluntness. Sergeant Flavius offered to 'advise'.
I am composing a list of strengths and weaknesses to present to Collton in my most diplomatic approach. I can guarantee the human female will be displeased.
Day 14 –
Made contact on radio with Alliance, human organization. Added to their list of known survivors. Supplies will be delivered 'soon'.
What is soon?
Day 15 –
Search of area surrounding Haven 1 shows no new human or citadel races' remains. Humans begun clearing out debris and smaller buildings with reclaimed heavy equipment. Day is long and hard. May have to try some of the human food if we do not receive rations 'soon'.
Teaching VI built for children by a university professor and elementary school teacher. History lessons illuminating to say the least. My crew added the Citadel and Turian history to its memory core.
Day 16 –
Construction continues on debris walls and the mission to find more cots. No news is good news at this point. Scientists tell us they're working on the alien food problem and promise to do their best.
I believe them.
A raiding party attempted to steal our supplies. We thrawted the attack with no casualties or injuries. Must build gate and towers.
Day 17 –
Balencya and Maathers acting weird. I don't like it.
Intact plumbing is as the humans say 'a god send'. The spirits, indeed, look over us. Humans stink when they don't bathe.
Day 18 –
One building demolished and lot cleared. Debris mountain for repurposing grows. Collton asked for advice on where to build walls and how to build up camp for permanent residence and eventual expansion.
Hope is rampant in camp and my crew are not immune to it.
The silence no longer concerns me and I thought I heard insect life last night.
Day 19 –
Discovered local wildlife excellent source for dextro amino acids. Long term effects of foreign food and supplements unknown.
Major Tanaquil gathered photos and videos of wildlife for the hierarchy and personal enjoyment.
Day 20 –
My men are feeling better than they have since we crashed. Recovered escape pod hardware. Activated distress beacon at Haven 1 in hopes Citadel races will respond.
Dextrose added to water stretches out quarian rations. Chemical formula will be sent to hierarchy for future use.
Day 21 –
Quarian Revan'Dun vas Evral escorted the dextro rations. Rations distributed. Balencya and Maathers left camp. Gut tells me they'll be back.
Day 22 –
Nothing of note.
Day 23 –

Day 24 –
Nothing of note.
Day 25 –
Nothing of note.
Day 26 –
Nothing of note.
Day 27 –
Nothing of note. Will only add entries as it becomes relevant.
May the spirits guide us all.
Day 32 –
Person tailing Galaxy followed bait. Ambushed in holloed building.
Swallowed poison pill before possible to question. Collton is mad we did not include her, seems to recognize emblem but does not know from where. Will circulate image with known associates in effort to learn more.

Day 33 – Caught STG hacking records in old government building. Almost shot by scavengers. STG shared information regarding Kassa Foundation, a manufacturer of the M-12 Locust and armor. STG says he'll take care of himself next time. His funeral.
To: Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: Calun Dravis, STG
Noticed your men scouting out areas. Camp Dela and Camp Minae are near area you're interested in. Friendly humans, uninterested in joining larger refugee camp despite warnings about scavengers. Have supplies we could use if scavengers finish them off before they come to senses and join us at Haven 1.
To: Calun Dravis, STG
From: Titus Deltano, Gen.
Is there anything an STG doesn't notice?

Old soldiers think alike. Recon, research, retrieve, and prepare.
To: Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: Tabitha Vathom
If you want to help on projects, you don't have to lurk in corners waiting for the chance.
If you want questions answered, you don't have to ask random survivors.
I'm here for a reason.

To: Tabitha Votham

My apologies. I did not want to impose myself on fragile situations that may upset M. Colton's anxieties.
To: Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: Tabitha Votham
She's a person, not a mirror. She'll put herself back together after this is all over. Right now we need each other, at our best and at our worst. It doesn't matter if you're a turian. You're here, at Haven 1, and that's all that matters to her.
To: Tabitha Votham
From: Titus Deltano, Gen.
Once again, my apologies.
To: Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: Diyal Bakshi
Tried contacting the Alliance for reports about Delhi, India. Do you people know anything about the city? If there were survivors. I have family there that aren't soldiers.
To: Diyal Bakshi
From: Titus Deltano, Gen.
If I hear anything, I'll contact you first.
To: Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: Diyal Bakshi
I will keep you and your people in my prayers. Thank you.
To: Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: Galaxy Portman
I'm smarter than I look. Your people are loud.
To: Galaxy Portman
From: Titus Deltano, Gen.
Does Mycerra Colton know you're this smart?
To: Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: Galaxy Portman
Only if you tattle.
To: Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: La'Quoia Schidmt
I know this is a long shot but could we find supplies to start building a proper medical unit for surgeries? A clean space where that friend of yours, the quarian, could bathe and tend to his injuries? I felt bad about telling him we didn't have the facilities.
To: La'Quoia Schidmt
From: Titus Deltano, Gen.
Shouldn't you be addressing this problem to Tabitha Votham, Diyal Bakshi, or Mycerra Colton?
To: Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: La'Quoia Schidmt
Colton is handling the Alliance. Votham is managing social affairs. Bakshi is handling logistics. Everyone's hands are full. You're helping run defense of the camp, which means you should know of supplies we need to create the sterile, sealable medical unit.
To: La'Quoia Schidmt
From: Titus Deltano, Gen.
I'll see what I can find. I will contact you when I find appropriate supplies.
To: My Crew list of 16 turian names, ranks assigned
From: Titus Deltano, Gen.
I need you to keep an eye out for any supplies we can use for a sealable medical unit at Haven 1. Medic Schidmt wants to upgrade facilities and services. If we can find a hospital, even better.
To: Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: Wei Yu
I heard they have biotic turian units. Do they accept biotic human trainees?
To: Wei Yu
From: Titus Deltano, Gen.
At this point in time, I can definitively say that you're better to train with the Asari or your own biotics. The turian military is a regimented, rigid system that would require great personal sacrifice on your behalf. I appreciate your interest in the subject.
To: Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: Wei Yu
Thank you. Did you know they had boarding schools for biotics before the reapers attacked? I'd ask our leader to train us but I don't think she knows how to teach. Thank you again.
To Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: Unknown
Filthy skull faces like you shouldn't be on earth. Get off our planet before we take affairs into our own hands.
To Titus Deltano, Gen.
From: Unknown
I know what your insides look like, bird man. You're next.
To Titus Deltano, Gen.
From Unknown
You think you can talk to everyone at this camp as if we don't see through your lies. You're nothing more than invaders taking advantage of the reapers attacking. You're no better than they are. Your days are numbered.
