Update:

Hey...

I know this isn't the chapter some of you have been waiting for, but I thought I'd give you an update seeing that it's been a while since I last updated.

To make a long story short, things have not been very good for me. Covid really messed a lot of things up in my life, myself included. Lost a lot of money along with family and still recovering. However, I'm doing fine now. I have a job once more and I can arguably say I am in a better place now than I would have been if all of this never happened. I'm at full health mentally once more and can get on with life once more.

That being said, Covid has given me a lot of time to re-read a lot of my work on here. To say I'm a bit disappointed in myself would be an understatement. Although I'm only writing this to improve my English writing skills/for fun, the lack of proof reading and thought behind chapters has really hurt the stories and I'm sorry for that. With that being said, I have good news and bad news. I'll start with the bad seeing that it not really that important in my opinion.

BAD NEWS: both stories are on permanent hiatus. I tried. I really did try. However, no matter how much I added to the stories, I just didn't like the direction past me had it going. Now that I've had a lot more time to think about it I see where I kinda got lost when it came to spitting out the next chapters. I couldn't do anything to bring the story without having everyone reread the entire story so I decided to scrap the whole thing. No point in wasting both your and my time on a story that I no longer have any energy to add into... Which leads me to the good news.

GOOD NEWS: REWRITE. Yes, I've rewritten a significant portion of the story 'A Shinobi's Awakening' and I can honestly say it's much better than its original. There will still be a lot I will be taking from the old story and placing it into the new, but there is so much more added to both the characters and setting that it's almost a completely different story now. My only hope is that you guys enjoy it.

I will post the prologue and chapter 1 today and you guys can see the new story along with the improvements. I have 7 more chapters already written after those, but they will not be posted just yet unfortunately. Need to proof read them all and whatnot so please have patience. I'm no longer writing to improve but just to have fun so understand that I will post the rest of what I've written depending g on how this new rewrite is received.
