Maken pow:
"Let's go down the list again..." I told to myself as I had another moment of paperwork done in the field. "Argentinian and Nicaraguan clan field two vehicles each... And one vehicle each goes for Bolivia, Venezuela, Guiana, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Saint Vincent and Grenadines, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Anguilla, US Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Haiti, UK Antilles, Bahamas, Caymans, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador and Mexico..." I recitated as if I was in trance, effectively simulating going insane from handling so many small groups, some of them being refered to by shortened acronyms for sake of saving my time.
"Wait... That only twenty-eight out of thirteen necessary." I said to myself, taking the pen again and making last time changes. "Yeah... Third Nahuel DL-43 from Argentinians and Vickers E Type B from Bolivians should be enough." I added to my rambling, writing the necessary additions and making the call to inform federation about my changes. Cheating on goverment doesn't get anyone far in longer extend after all.
Narrator pow:
"Hey girl! Did you heard our folk song?" Panamian clan Sensha-do commander with dark eyes called Canal asked, his bald head enjoying the sunny trip across the somewhat flat steppe that was their battlefield.
"Sure, go for it." Tall brunette girl called Shimazu Nakiyama responded from his left, mean while exposing the biological features she inherited after father. Most of them, that is.
[Play: Hamburger Cheeseburger Big Mac Whopper (James E. Cunningham) Link: https/youtu.be/sHwvUFjaNdU]
"Yeah, this one." A short girl with messy brown hair called Lisa added, already vibing to the music.
"No wonder Saunders like you so much." Shimazu responded, looking to her own left, seeing how Ana from Bolivia clan bickered with Nassau about rightfulness of international maritime laws.
"Bored by their antics?" A manly voice from behind her asked, making her turn on instinct.
"A bit, soon enough we will have more intresting stuff to do Veronique." Shimazu said, smiling to her old friend from Anguillan clan, a medium-sized girl with long blonde hair that asked her.
"As usual, as usual..." Veronque responded, throwing her hear backwards to make it fly behind alongside wind, forming it in waves. "Anyways, I wish you good luck on the battle." She added, seeing that the starting positions were already reached.
"Heheh, likewise." Shimazu responded, going back into her tank and closing the cuppola behind herself.
Maken pow:
"Now then, let's see how it goes with." I told myself as I lustrated combined forces of opposing teams. "Hmm... Chi-Ha-Tan brought eight Type 97 Chi-Ha and sixteen Type 95 Ha-Go. Tategoto took for this battle four Type 95 Ha-Go and Tatenashi has sent Type 97 Te-Ke alongside freshly bought R35. Sounds about right." I continued, seeing how their lineup of dominanly Japanese designs stood against my mess known as twenty-Six diffrent tanks of Various quality. "I'm just lucky that their tanks are either on part or superior to their own in most cases. I don't know about skill and tactical awareness tho."
Andou pow:
"Our guys seem to have advantage in armament and variety. They won't know what hits them at least for some time." I said to myself, as my group took their seats at the beginning of the match as both teams went forward.
"Both teams went straight forward for the city? Quite strange for a flag battle." Ella commented from the side, also observing the match with great intrest.
"As for triple team I understand that since minor sentiments for charging in Chi-Ha-Tan are always active. But as for our team they propably want to crush them given their weaker tanks." Eclair said, smiling as she observed faster tanks leave the slower ones behind.
"Nwo what's this? All M-3 Stuarts, AMR 35, Tetrarch and a Vickers E Type B went north." Cayenne added on her own, pointing at the screen where said group from our school diverged from the rest and turned slightly to the left.
"This one my young friend is a classic encirclement." Eclair responded, correcting her jacket. "Our friends somehow managed to agree without Maken's presence for the encirclement inside the city. A bit risky move but worth the effort ninety precent of the time." She added, smiling at the sight of incoming victory.
"Let's not be so forward please, the match barely began." I said, lowering the expectations towards our friends.
Maken pow:
"Hmm... The events seems to be mostly fortunate at the moment." I thought, seeing as Strv L-60 belonging to the clan of Dominican Republic was going between the streets, engaging in hit and run tactics against the light, but aswell fast tank of CHTTT (Improvised acronym of: Chi-Ha-Tan, Tategoto, Tatenashi.)
"And here goes the main frontal force of Sudamericana ladies and gents! A trio of Nahuels DL-43's lead by no one other than Gotierrez." School radio commentary joined again, this time with Lily announcing the willingness of Argentinian clan to do their job.
"Ah, Gotierrez." I mentally sighed, looking at the screen where the tall boy with unusually bright skin and short, pointy black hair stood proudly with torso above the cuppola. "After the beatdown I gave them before the sparring matches the Sensha-do group within Argentinian clan has actually began to think twice before the move, which is good. Especially their overall commander, a man of hisnduty and a vishous speaker, who is always ready to yell at me for doing something stupid or dangerous for the school." I thought, seeing as he waved his hands left and right to order his teammates to take carefully picked positions across the city. "Now to wait for the outcome..."
Narrator pow:
"Antonio! Get your guys together with UK Antilles and Surinamian tanks and go south! I don't want to have them escape!" Gotierrez shouted out of his cuppola, going under right afterwards just in case.
"Copy that! Helena, Sushi, onward we go!" Antonio responded, calling his assigned team and turning right to face new direction.
"Copy that!" Responded Helena, a short girl with curly blond hair and abundance of bangles on her arms, ordering her Cruiser Mk. I to go after her teammate.
"As my father taught me, I follow!" Sushil, an actual Surinamese boy with tan skin, short hair in colour of bronze and fierce blue eyes added, also following in his FT-17.
"Wonderful to hear it, now let me sink in!" Alvara laughed from the driver seat, speeding up and having their Strv L-60 pass throu narrow streets of the mockup city, utilizing on it's speed.
"If our assumptions are correct, we should be at their back right..." Antonio thought as his tank took the turn left after passing a few intersection. "... Now!" He exclaimed in mind as he saw the Type 95 Ha-Go on the opposite side of the road he just went in.
"Ha!" A short girl with curly brunet hair from the gunner seat shouted, firing the gun against the opponent, however the shell exploded mid-air after passing half of the distance.
"Francesca! What happened?" Antonio asked, passing her another shell.
"Our and their shots hit eachother! Here comes the round two!" Girl responded, firing again after the shell was loaded, this time putting it right into Ha-Go's frontal armor and triggering the white flag.
"Nice one. Now reverse and join others, the road is..." Antonio ordered while looking outside, only to realised that two other Type 95 Ha-Go's stood behind them "... Blocked..." He muttered in disbelief before a shell slammed into his engine compartment.
Amelie pow:
"What the hell!? We've been tricked!" I shouted as my driver put the reverse gear and moved us backwards, effectively making us dodge a shell or two while the M-3 belonging to El Salvador didn't had such luck.
"Belize, SViG, go further north and see what is happening there!" A radio contact from Gotierrez came while our group hide behind the small ramp leading to a dry lake, avoiding the opposing fire.
"Hell, no. We are pinned in here without escape option and I won't be dying by myself!" Charming but rather indecisive boy with short blond hair called Ignacio responded, having his Tetrarch tank back up even more.
"You aren't helping! What will Maken think of your clan after THIS is how you use his donation?" I shouted throu the radio, trying to give him a moment of reflection.
"Screw this loser. We're rushing in at this sand wall." Fairly average blonde girl from SViG's AMR 35 known as Corsica said, her tank quickly going out of the lakebed and turning left to avoid opposing fire.
"See? This is easy! Now let's go and help her." I ordered, our whole unit minus Belize clan rushing out of the cover and turning left to join Corsica, not losing anyone in the process. "Now that we have Vickers E Type B, AMR 35 and four M-3 Stuarts, what do we do?" I asked, as our task force hide again behind the collection of sand embarkments and pillars.
"We keep going north and proceed towards full encirclement of their defences here. Then we go help the center." Ana from Bolivian Vickers E Type B responded, earning few voices of approval as we decided to proceed with this idea.
Gotierrez pow:
"What the hell do you mean you can't help!?" I shouted throy the radio, engaging in the agrue with our self-propelled section of two Type 3 Ho-Ni III's and Archer, who were busy standing still around the massive hill on the bcakline of our fight flank.
"I mean we need to cover your six because the guys you sent here lost a third of their forces and now barricaded themselves inside some factory!" Adelaide responded, sounds of synchronised firing looming in the distance.
"Then leave them as a decoy and help me! I need to push throu and have already lost light support!" I responded, looking throu the visor at destroyed pair of CV 33 from Nicaraguan clan and T1E4 Cunningham who exchanged himself for two Type 95 Ha-Go's. "You don't even hit your targets back there!"
"Screw you then, I don't take orders from you." Adelaide replied, hunging up and going back to her time wasting.
"Whatever, we don't need her anyway." I scoffed heavly, contacting whole team that was left for me: Our own three DL-43's Nahuels, A1E1 Independent, KW-85, two FT-17, Vickers Medium Merk I, Vickers Medium Mk. II, Matilda I, Matilda II, Vickers E Type A, Ford 3-ton Tank and TMCA Salinas. "Okay everyone. I didn't wanted to throw you at the meatgrinder known as city defence, but we have no other option. CHAAAAAAARGE!" I shortly but energetically ordered, giving my driver a right command as at least some of my team follow me in the attack across the main alleway against the opposing defence.
Andou pow:
" Our team lost five vehicles, their alliance lost three..." I said to myself as I watched our central army charging at the Chi-Ha-Tan army in a weirdly ironical way, the series of gunshots and smoke from the guns partially covering the view.
"Look! It's eight to seven now." Nene exclaimed before pointing at the lineup stats, where our team lost two FT-17's and Vickers E Type A in exchange for three Type 95 Ha-Go's and one Type 97 Chi-Ha, focing the triple alliance to retreat from town's main square to eastern suburbs.
"Yeah! They push them back!" Ella shouted in joy, her happiness even in reading after our FT-17 and Cruiser Mk. I managed to escape the encirclement from factory in southern town, letting the tank destroyer group destroy one Type 95 Ha-Go in the process.
"The chances seem to be equalized now." Louis commented, taking a sił of coffee from his bottle.
"Or so it would seem..." I replied, looking with focus at the Tatenashi High School tank group that was currently riding alongside the northern edge of the map. We were lucky this battle turned out to be an elimination match after all.
Amelie pow:
"How many enemies are you seeing there?" I asked throu the radio, engage into ibservation of seemingly silent line of defence we had to break.
"One, two... Four Type 97 Chi-Ha and four Type 95 Ha-Go." The conclusive response from Ana came, letting me know of the defences.
"Hmm... That's too much for us. We need to spread out and do something else." I responded, giving my opinion on that matter.
"I'll go east onto this hill at C-6 and look around for visual support." Corsica responded, giving me information about her move.
"And we will go even more north and scout for their flank." Ana added, taking her Vickers E Type B and M-3 Stuart away from the group.
"Sure thing. We will wait there and await further development." I responded, agreeing in split up of our forces. Afterwards both mentioned groups split off from us, leaving me with three M-3 Stuarts and place to defend. Which was a shame because if our enemies decided to attack, we would be done for.
Sushil pow:
"Okay, we are here with you again, what now?" I asked Adelaide as I and Helena came to the side of the mountain our TD's had took under occupation.
"Simple, really. Do whatever you want since that's what our school tactis is!" Adelaide laughed, while her Arched made another shot at the distant forces of triple alliance we were fighting for at least an hour now.
"In that case, where we go now? I don't feel confident enough to blindly rush in with no support." Helena asked me, putting her index fingers together.
"We go north to scout for infiltrating manouvers and then go back here to think again." I responded with confidence as we hop back into our tanks and went into concluded direction.
Narrator pow:
"I was afraid that this battle would be just a meatgrinder, but so far it's fantastic in the fullest!" A smile painted at the face of Sqiptari, a tall girl with amazonian body type and long, wavy dark hair, as she observed the battlefield from a big rock her school brought specially for her.
"Quite odd choice of chair Sqiptari, I must admit." An ironic laugh came out from a short girl with medium-lenght blond hair, who was sitting on her own throne, which was styled to resemble ones used in ancient Egypt.
"As if you ever appricieated the power of hills and their main constructs, Ramses." Sqiptari responded, turning her head away in a sign of disapproval.
"Don't be hasty there please, we came here to learn and not insult." Third voice from a small girl with snow-white skin and brown hair joined, trying to defuse the situation.
"No need to disrupt us Freja." Ramses smiled, patting her fellow team commander on the shoulder. "Not everyone can be amused by distance to himself." She added with a laugh, pointing back at the giant screen. "But now let's enjoy the second phase of the battle, because this is going to be amaizing!"
Narrator pow (Diffrent scene):
"PUUUUUUSH! Push like you mean it!" Gotierrez shouted again, forcing his squad to continue the attack against the organised retreat of their opponents. "Our tanks are superior to theirs! No hesitance and no holding back!" He continued, his tank pushing to the side freshly wrecked Type 95 Ha-Go.
"HE coming right up!" Elena informed throu the radio as her TMCA Salinas fired in the middle of opposing forces, knocking to the side or just destroying three other Ha-Go's.
"The path is cleared! Now go for the revenge!" Gotierrez shouted again as his perosnal group of three DL-43's Nahuels went first into the gap, only to be shoot from the side by hidden duo of Type 97 ChI-Ha's and massacred from the front at point blank range by six remaining Ha-Go's.
"Hold and hide! We don't want to push there." Gonzalez shoutet at the Medican radio, forcing the group to stop and take defensive positions at the wide road they rampaged throu with near-real war-like collateral damage.
Maken pow:
"We have lost Strv L-60, M-3 Stuart, three DL-43's Nahuels, two CV 33, T1E4 Cunningham, two FT-17, one Vickers E Type A. That is eleven in total. The CHTTT coalition lost eight Type 95's and one Type 97, which is nine tanks in total." I thought, seeing the center of my school tanks stopping it's advance after Argentinian clan suddenly became stupid.
"Given that four of Types 95 and 95 are in the north and two tanks of Tatenashi are on our deep flank, it raises the question where are their other tanks." Nakiyama said to me, letting me think over this information.
"Eight plus seven equals fiventeen... They have two Type 97 and six Type 95 in the middle, two Tatenashi tanks are trying to flank us... That leaves us with two Type 97 and three Type 95 hidden either on our right flank or in the backlines." I said with solemn voice, calculating in my mind the forces our opponents still had.
"And in these tanks are their commanders?" Nakiyama asked me, looking at the battlefield with concern.
"Not the Tatenashi one, since she went for unlucky choice." I said, seeing as Type 97 Te-Ke and R35 were bring already chased to the northeastern corner of the map by our AMR 35, FT-17 and Cruiser Mk. I. "But Kinuyo Nishi and Aung definitely are there." I concluded, seeing as our KW-85 decided to go forward in the center. "Now sit back Sir, because I feel like your daughter is going to turn the tide of this battle..."
Shimazu Nakiyama pow:
"Load HE and shoot! Our shells will penetrate them with ease." I ordered to my crew as we went forward into the defensive trap of triple team we had to fight.
"Gotcha!" My crew responded in unision, taking themselves to their job and shooting the first shell at frontal Ha-Go's right after, eliminating five of them since they just piled themselves in teh tight road while sixth one retreaded upon seeing us.
"Penta-kill! Now for the sides." I shouted with pride before ordering next move as our turret rotated to the right and the tank itself stopped to avoid being attacked from sides.
"How about we shot the building to have falling rublle take them out?" My gunner, a short boy with curly ginger hair called Esteban asked me, already rising his gun barrel at the ceelings of nearby blocks.
"Go for it." I shortly agreed, looking at the rubble falling down at the Chi-Ha-Tan's tank and completly burying it, effectively eliminating him from the battle.
"Hey, TiT! The second Type 97 is retreating!" Positive voice from Adelaide caught my ears, confirming our success.
"Thanks for informing me. Whole squadron, attack at will!" I responded, quickly switching my attention towards the rest of my unit, letting it go freely as I turned north and went help our left flank.
Andou pow:
"And now we have eleven to fiveteen lost in our favor." I said, seeing as KW-85 belonging to Trinidad and Tobago clan has rampaged into the defences within middle sector and turned upwards to assist the situation up there.
"That would be ten to seventeen now. Tatenashi tanks have just been forcefully capitulated." Orlead corrected me, pointing at the screen where Type 97 Ke-Ni and R35 were send out of the battlefield while our Cruiser Mk. I lied on it's side with smoke coming from it's engine.
"Two for one and now our two go to join the northern squads, nice." Eclair commented on her own, while our FT-17 and AMR 35 left the corner of the battlefield and went straight ahead towards the point of resistance.
"Yeah, northern..." Cayenne said with hesitance, while the screen switched his attention to one Type 95 Ha-Go and three Type 97 Chi-Ha's running past destroyed A1E1 Independent at the cost fo two other Type 95 Ha-Go's they had being blasted into unusable state by multi-turret tank.
"Their reserves are attacking throu south?" Ella asked, oblivious to what was happening.
"Exacly, and they will cause a lot of trouble." Angela added, looking at the trio heading towards the positions of the Sudamericana's tank destroyers.
Amelie pow:
"Okay everyone! The support is coming from South and northeast plus thisndefence line is surrounded. We need to attack now!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as my squad of three M-3 Stuarts charged towards sand embarkment, shooting HE shells to make sand go upwards and mess with their aim.
"Amelie! We're attacking too!" Sushil added on the radioline as he and Crosica joined us on our left.
"We're attacking their left side now!" Positive response from Veronique followed, her and most of central squad attacking the now panicking tanks of Chi-Ha-Tan and others, who began to retreat on reverse gear while firing back.
"Shoot now!" I commanded as my gunner fired another shell and made one of Chi-Ha's jumo in place before making it roll to the right and stop on it's side.
"Nice shot!" Corsica laughed at the radio, her AMR 35 also scoring an elimination on one of Ha-Go's
"That's six..." I counted, looking at the situation at hand as remaining tanks were being destroyed one by one by our forces. "Five... Four... Three... Two remaining Ha-Go's... Aaaaand they give up." I counted for a while before two remaining tanks rised their white flags and reveales themselves to be Tategoto crews.
"We got them and all, but Adelaide has troubles and we need to move now!" Shimazu then called us on the radio, informing us of new task at hand.
"Roger! We're going there." I responded, giving my driver a signal to take new direction.
Narrator pow:
"They're already at the hillside!" Adelaide shouted as she saw two Type 97 Chi-Ha's rushing uphill in slalom, dodging desperate shots from her unit while Type 95 Ha-Go decided to circle around the hill and hit them from behind. "Full reverse! We take our stands at the down of the hill." Adelaide ordered, all three vehicles on her command agreeing while both them and their opponents repedeately missed their shots.
"It's time now! Chaaaaarge!" Kinuyo Nishin shouted in a meanwhile inside her own tank, as she dodged another shot and decided to go for a kill.
"We need help now!" Adelaide shouted throu the radio in panic, looking behind and seeing that fast reverse speed of her Archer came at the cost of expsosing itself to the flanking Ha-Go.
"No problem..." A gruff, many voice came as a response as Type 95 Ha-Go was knocked out by a precised shot to the rear. "Becasue I just have stopped running away." The voice continued as Light Tank Mk. VII Tetrarch rushed from her right side and turned lightly towards the remaining two tanks of Chi-Ha-Tan, opening fire into their side and making one of them deploy a white flag as teh shot from his 2-pounder gun hit the side armor at ten degree angle.
Maken pow:
"Ignacio? I don't recognize him now!" I laughed as I saw a madman standing outside of Tetrarch's cuppola pointing towards now retreating Type 97 Chi-Ha while firing at it from both main gun and machine gun, eventually causing the tracks to fell off the chased opponent and the tank itself to spin before falling over and getting deep into sand.
"Has he underwent a change of heart?" Nakitama asked, putting the hand on his chin and starting deeply at the screen where our team was celebrating his victory.
"I think so." I responded with a smile, seeing how Ignacio and Adelaide jump into eachother's arms. "But regardless of his heart, his mind won't be so snobby anymore, that's for sure."
Narrator pow:
"Now this is why I came here!" Sqiptari smiled, stunding up from her rock-pillow and clapping her hands in a sign of appricieation.
"Agreed. We really need more massive battles in the future." Ramses added, also clapping her hands while Freya threw a coin to the elder person to her right who was raising money for charity by walking around and asking people for it.
"Cannot disagree, the better team ultimately won but the battle was far from a classical blitzkrieg." Freya nodded, also clapping her hands to the rhythm set by the audience below their post.
