Andou pow:
"Well, we definitely won this one. But it doesn't mean our Sensha-do teams are objectively good." I said, while our team had a joint discussion in our clan's restroom.
"Oui. We as ourselves were doing somewhat well overtime, but other clans aren't so stable and progressive with their skills." Eclair added, playing with the spoon above the bowl of cereal she make herself for a supper.
"I guess it adds up." Orlean said, while taking a seat with us at the table. "Policy of everyone acting on their own encourages a lot of initiative and charismatic leadership, but when tank commanders don't have open mind, aren't controlling their crews or just fight eachother over dumb stuff like superiority and priorities within group of equals, then we have a trouble like today objectively weaker team not only took out a third of our team but also had coherent plan to which he won only by having few competent individuals." He added with somewhat concerned face, looking outside the window at something that caught his eye.
"Yeah, we will have to work on ourselves then." I concluded, curiously taking a look after Orlean's point of intrest only to see Beatrice talking on a phone while repedeately coughing and checking her pocket money outside. "What's wrong with her?" I asked, still looking at her as she eventually sat on the pavement and looked up with empty eyes.
"I don't know, but I think we need to check it." Cayenne responded, showing herself near the balcony doors leading outside.
Maken pow:
"So the draw of group stages for 64th. National Sensha-do Tournament for High School level is happening today, huh?" I asked myself, taking out the ice cream cup and looking at the live broadcast lobby, which was full of excited watchers and fans long before the lottery even began. "This is going to be fun I guess. Not like I have big expectations to my schoolmates after the last match but nothenless I am the one to carry the team for a reason." I said out loud, grabbing stack of documents regarding my school's Sensha-do teams and browsing them in attempt to realise something new. A dumb idea, but I guess constant barganing over donations for new tanks took more time from my life than expected.
Narrator pow:
"Hey! Is everything okay?" Andou asked, as she came to Beatrice alongside Eclair, Cayenne and Orlean.
"Ehhm... No, no it isn't." Beatrice responded, standing up and dusting off her sleeves. "Since Maken kicked me and Reggia from positions of clan representatives I'm constantly called by my dad over who should I be and how bad it is that I'm not." She added, presenting her concerns.
"And now he switched from demands to threats?" Orlean asked her, scratching his eyebrow in a sign of confusion.
"Mhm. Now he just told me that he will disinherit me for failing their generous expectations." Beatrice responded, looking down into the ground and stone bricks that were made into pavement.
"Oh..." Andou said, remembering quite well that disinheritance was a real problem within Sensha-do world, mostly tanks to Miho and her case with Nishizumi family which led me to assume that such troubels were not a laughing matter.
"Are you sure he actually has what it takes to make your parents do this?" Cayenne asked, making a but distrustful face.
"I don't know... My parents didn't pick up my call or even called back onec after my relegation outside of dad's comments and I don't know what's going on with them anymore, so now I don't want to take the risk." Beatrice responded, tears coming into her eyes.
"Okay, we believe you." Eclair said, stepping in and hugging her while Andou and Orlean nodde decisively. "Now please, tell us what he wants."
"He... He wants me to get my old position back and made accusations towards me over the corruption scandal gone by tomorrow at dawn or... I'm out of the family for good." Beatrice sobbed, going over the details as the listening trio felt their hearts become heavy.
"What do you think girls?" Orlean asked after a while of troublesome silence as rainclouds arrived into their eyesight, peeking from behind the walls of their clan's settling.
"We will help in all ways we can." Andou said, joining Eclair and hugging Beatrice from her left.
"Your parents don't want you anymore not because you made a huge mistake, but because you took the consequences? They aren't your parents if that's the case." Cayenne added with indignation, also joining the group hug with Orlean following right after.
"T-thank you everyone. But..." Beatrice sobbed a little more before the group let her go. "Since they won't be my parents anymore... And I am still underaged... I'll be sent away to child care home-"
"Not an option!" Andou exclaimed, grabbing her by the shoulder in supportive manner. "And I know exacly a person who can help us!"
Maken pow:
"Little you know, but this school already has specifications and legal status as child care home. So even if Beatrice had to be sent to such, she wouldn't budge from here to begin with." I said with a wide smile as I stood with entire Sensha-do group from French Guiana clan under the large extended rooftop in one of school's public parks, hiding before brief period of rain.
"That's great!" Ella exclaimed as she cuddled Beatrice strongly enough to make her gasp for breath.
"And as for you Beatrice..." I added, turning towards her in person. "I... Reconsidered my approach and gathered more information regarding that corruption stuff you were pulled in." I said, making the whole group stand still and sweat. "And my information showed that... You're completley Innocent." I ended the sentence, making all of them sigh in relief.
"Really?" Louis asked me, rising an eyebrow. "How so then?"
"Well, young lad, this whole crap was planned by the Alla-Nova family, which includes Reggia." I begin to say my explaination, walking in circles around them. "The only fault Beatrice commited was siding with her friend for the time of battle corrupting students accepted form me, since I promised them all a 'free out of jail card' if they win, which they didn't." I smiled before stopping in front of Andou and sending her a 'well-prepared' look.
"So Beatrice is innocent?" Andou asked, her eyes flashing with hope.
"Exacly. All charges are revoked, good name kept, my repells without backing up and value of friendship with criminal respected, even if for wrong reasons." I replied, looking past her as whole group minus Andou celebrated the confirmation. "I do however hope you stay as clan rep for Guiana Clan, you seem to be cut out perfectly for this job." I added, briefly dusting off her left shoulder.
"Am I?" Andou asked in return, making an afraid face.
"Of course you are! Don't let BC Freedom past get to your head all the time I praise you." I responded, making a confident smile to make her believe in herself. "Now go and join your clan, because they definitely need you." I added, pointing out that she also should celebrate with her schoolmates.
"Heheh, thanks." Andou responded with a silenced tone before turning around and joining her happy band.
"Now that this is dealt with, it's about time I go do the dirty part regarding myself." I thought, turning around and leaving the group by going throu nearby dual doors inside the closed hall where I took the turn left back to my 'palace'. There was a job to do and I wouldn't be myself if I run away from it.
Narrator pow:
"Hey yo! I need some help." Short girl with medium-lenght fluffy hair called Aresa called, catching Rosehip's attention.
"Yes?" Rosehip asked, turning on her heel and going straight towards FT-17 of Grenadan clan, who's theoretical owner just asked her.
"My friends just got themselves involved into Tankathlon match and... I just learned that they pushed me into representing them all. Alone." Aresa said, slamming her head into the side of her tank, wincing slightly upon impact.
"But why are you beating yourself so hard?! Besides, who is your enemy on this one?" Rosehip asked, confused about the whole situation.
"Ehh... I'm going tomorrow against girls from Da Gama Academy, and I don't know who they even are!" Aresa exclaimed before resing her head on FT-17's back and sighing heavly, only to be touched in the back by Rosehip.
"And you didn't bother to check it online?" Rosehip asked her with utter shock on her face, herself holding the smartphone in hand and showing her the internet page of said school. "Given that their school is themed after Portugal and we will face them in Tankathlon match, they will use either Carden-Loyd tankettes, Vickers 6-tons or both of them at once. Other tansk are just too heavy." She said with near-professor like manners, putting Aresa into state of self-doubt.
"How... Why didn't I... Who taught you this?" Aresa asked after a while of muttering, pointing at her smartphone.
"Leon did, he's quite a swell guy and a great friend! I'm sure he won't mind me joining you on this little escapade." Rosehip laughed, slapping her knees with joy. "But now, how about we go and look for others to join us?" She asked her, switching the mood into one more positive.
"But... If my own clan doesn't want to help me... Then who will?" Aresa asked in return without hope, looking down at the pavement.
"I know a few people who would love to make a name for themselves! Come withe me." Rosehip replied, grabbing her by the arm and dragging Aresa behind as they rushed to meet with some people.
Maken pow:
"Okay Sir, how are my final results?" I asked as I was heading towards the ending of video conference with assigned to me doctor.
"In my professional opinion you're way above even the best hopes we had when you first came to us after this... Unfortunate event." Doctor responded from the other side, adjusting his glasses to delicate tone this matter had for both of us. "But anyway, no more surgeries will be needed. And while situations like in your match against Jaktasota will obviously cause some damage, it won't be affecting parts of your body which underwent our procedures." He added, giving me a bit more details about my capabilities.
"I'm glad to hear it. Now hoverer I need to head towards my duties at hand. Good day to you Sir." I responded in a hurry, ending the call with half od the proper kindness as I left the meeting and closed my laptop before falling on my bed, completley tired and resignated.
"Oh well, at least my school does well." I thought as before falling asleep. Politicians are mostly people after all.
Rosehip pow:
"Okay everyone! Glad to see you all make it here!" I said happly as my dream team combined itself at the garage no. 731 of our school ship Sensha-do district. "Since you all know me and Aresa, how about you all shortly present yourself to others?" I asked them as we made a circle from ourselves for easier communication.
"I am Alessa, Peruvian clan." First girl to my right said, adjustung her long blonde hair to match beautiful velvet eyes.
"Sushil, Suriname clan." Second person said, scratching his chin while looking at the others.
"Corsica, Saint Vincent and Grenadines clan." Next person said, others following shortly after to keep the chain running.
"Martina, Martinique clan." Medium-size girl with pale white skin and green eyes said, throwing her long black hair backwards.
"Marino and to my right Mariano, Dominica clan."
"Guidon and Bassigny, Guadelouoe clan." Two tall boys with short brown hair added, pointing behind at their FT-17 and AMR 35.
"Celine, Montserrat clan." Short girl with curly brown hair said, putting eye drops into her red eyes.
"Red, Black and White. US Virgin Islands clan." Three medium-sized boys with name-accurate short hair and eye colours said at once after her.
"Vitorro. UK Virgin Islands." Tall boy with messy brown hair added, his hazel eyes flashing with anticipation.
"Rico, Puerto Rico clan." Medium-sized boy with grey hair and golden eyes added, slapping his knee as he spoke.
"Rocky, Bermuda clan." A tall boy with ginger hair and beard added, his brown eyes lustrating the gathering.
"Antonio and Alvara, Dominican Republic clan."
"Nassau, Bahamian clan."
"Fonesca, Nicaraguan clan." Medium-sized boy presented himself, his grey eyes and short brown hair adding well to his round face.
"Ignacio, Belize clan."
"That's all?" I asked them, counting by heads of showed clan commanders whenever or not we were complete.
"Others don't have suitable tanks, time or will to operate in tanks that don't belong to them." Rico said, jumping backwards on top of FT-17 belonging to Grenada clan.
"That gives us one LTP, Six FT-17's, two AMR 35's, Ford 3-ton Tank, Vickers Light Mk. V, Strv L-60, T1E4 Cunningham, CV 33 and Tetrarch. Fiveteen various tanks in total." Rosehip concluded, looking around to see group's reaction. "Now then, let's go break some stuff!" She souted in triumph as all clan commanders run to their tanks and preprared for incoming Tankathlon match to show their power to the world.
As if incoming future wasn't enough...
