Jack narrows his eyes at the equipment, "Getting ready to hunt some ghosts. I'm gonna tear that ghost kid apart into a million different-" He stops at the feeling of his wife's instant looks, he looks up and asks, "What?"
Maddie sighs, "Jack, I love you, but we don't have time for this. Who's a better shot?"
Jack answers immediately, "You are."
Maddie asks him another question, "Who's better with the weaponry?"
Jack answers immediately again, "You are."
Maddie continues to question him, "Who's a ninth degree blackbelt?"
Jack answers without thinking, "You are." He then comes to a realization, "You are?" He hands her the cannon, "Here. I'll get the Ghostkateers."
Maddie smiles at him, "And that's why we make a great team. Here's a cookie."
She gives Jack a cookie.
Meanwhile, Phantom is brought underneath city hall. He's surrounded by Kwan, Lancer, Paulina, Dash, Ishiyama, and the mayor. He knew that they were all overshadowed.
Phantom glares at the mayor, "I should've guessed you'd end up in the guy that makes the rules, Walker!"
The Mayor grins sinisterly and in Walker's voice says, "Shouldn't you be running?"
Phantom grinned at him, "Shouldn't you?"
He phased out of Walker's grasp and delivered a strong kick to his testicles. Walker's eyes widened in shock and pain as he doubled over onto the ground. Walker might have been at full power, from what Phantom had guessed but he was still overshadowing a human body and those things had plenty of weaknesses.
Phantom rocketed himself at the possessed Dash and delivered a solid left hook to his face before ducking down under Kwan's strike to trip him. Ishiyama fires a pink blast of ectoplasm at him only to be blocked by a green ecto-shield, seeing that Paulina is about to rush him he angles the blast into her, blasting the ghost guard out of her.
Seeing this Ishiyama stops the blast, seeing the opportunity Phantom pulls a sleek black ecto-gun out from his cloat and aims.
Paulina begins to come to her senses, "What? Huh?" She looks back and screams at the sight of the ghost guard.
Phantom pulls the trigger and fires. The blast flies past Paulina's head and connects with the ghost guard. It opens up into a temporary ghost portal and pulls the ghost in before collapsing in on itself.
"One down, four to go," Phantom's echoing voice rings out caughting Paulina's attention.
Paulina asked in awe, "You saved me, so, you're like a friendly ghost?"
Phantom shrugs his shoulders and says, "Yeah and I got some friendly advice: RUN!!!"
He steps back and blocks a punch from Mr Lancer. Phantom kicks the back of his knee, brings him down to that one, he raises his left hand and fires a point blank blast into Lance's head. The ghost goes tumbling out of Lance's body only to be met by a collapsing portal blast from Phantom's gun.
Kwan comes in and grabs the gun in an attempt to pull it away from Phantom. He on the other hand raises his hand up and delivers an ecto-blast into Kwan's gut, sending the ghost out of him. In Kwan's daze stupor Phantom phases his hand and through Kwan completely and fires at the ghost.
BANG
We turn to see Maddie enter the room with bazooka in hand. She fires at Phantom and thinking quickly fires an ecto-blast at each of them. Causing the two of them to collapse in on themselves.
"I got to be honest with you Maddie, I'm glad that worked because I just took a shot in the dark," Phantom confesses rather confidently.
Ishiyama then pulls him out of the area and onto the ground.
Ishiyama pulls out the thermos from seemingly nowhere, "Looking for this?"
She points it at Phantom, but Wulf appears and swipes her and Dash away.
A rougher voice exits out of Dash's mouth, "What are you doing?"
Wulf simply says, "Amiki, friend."
Wulf stabs his claws into Dash and Ishiyama to pull out the eyepatched ghost and a guard respectively. Maddie fires at them to get rid of them. Walker then grabs Phantom and flies off.
Phantom frowns and says, "What are you doing?"
Walker smugly says, "There's all types of prisons, kid..."
Outside City Hall, field reporters are talking about what has happened.
The first reporter says into his mic, "The ghost kid has attacked City Hall during a town meeting."
While the second reporter says into her mic, "We now bring you to live with an evil ghost teen on a rampage."
The doors to City Hall suddenly slam open, showing the mayor holding Phantom in a position that makes it look like he has taken him hostage.
The mayor speaks quietly to Phantom in Walker's voice, "I'm making sure your prison is the town you live in." In the mayor's normal voice he yells out, "Help! Help me! Help!"
Walker tries to kick off from the ground to make it all seem like it's my doing but he's stopped by a purple and pink dome.
"What the…" Walker asks in confusion unknowingly loud enough for the cameras to hear.
Phantom grins at the cameras, "Looks like it's time for phase two of my plan."
He pulls away from Walker's grip and delivers an intangible roundhouse kick to the mayor's head, sending Walked out of his body.
The crowd gasp, they had just watched the so talked villous Phantom kick a ghost out of their mayor. Said ghost begins to growl on the ground while the ghost boy places the mayor on the steps of City Hall.
Phantom begins to walk down the steps, "So Walker, are you willing to finish this?"
Walker growls out, "Gladly."
Walker suddenly thrust his arm at Phantom sending a large blast of ectoplasm at him. The crowd is shocked until they realize it's all being blocked by a circular shield. Seeing his attack isn't working, Walker rushes Phantom while continuing his. When he gets into striking range he stops his attack to punch through Phantom's shield and hitting him in the face. Phantom uses the momentum to sweep Walker's legs, he pulls back his leg and sends an ecto-blast out of his foot.
Walker skids across the ground before coming to a stop there's barely a scut mark on his white suit.
He grins up at Phantom, "Even with all of your skills I'm still stronger than you."
Phantom grins, "For now, soon enough Gear will destroy that crappy prison of yours."
Somehow Walker becomes even paler to the point of glowing, "What did you say?"
"You heard me," Phantom says as he stands up straight.
With that a new fight begins.
However for the next few minutes the citizens of Amity Park and Spellweaver on top of City Hall watch in uncomfortable silence as Phantom becomes black and blue. It's a physical fight between David and Goliath, only David was losing, bad.
Spellweaver raises her hand to view into a crystal ball, it showed several explosions going off inside Walker's prison. Just as Walker punches Phantom into the stairs.
Walker strod's over to him and smugly said, "This is what's going to happen punk." He grabs ahold of Phantom's hair and forces him to look at him, "I'll keep you in this state until I rebuild and then I'll lock you away until the heat death of the universe." He lands a sucker punch to Phantom's gut, "After that I might have my way with that little girlfriend of yours."
At that Spellweaver knew this fight was over; when Johnny involved his sister Danny instinctively released a pair of wings and a tail but Walker had just crossed a line that should never be crossed.
Walker smirks down at him, "Who knows perhaps I'll be the one to-"
A hand to Walker's throat cuts him off from talking, "What did you say?!" He asked dangerously.
Phantom looks up at him with reptilian toxic green eyes. Walker immediately tries to pry the hand off of him but he finds that the grip is too strong.
His eyes begin to glow and two beams of ectoplasm fire out. Walker gets sent slamming into the energy dome. He struggles to open one of his eyes and fear is finally known to the corrupt ghost warren.
Walker, the citizens and Spellweaver watch in shocked horror at the sight before them. Phantom's begins to change; his hands begin to elongate before ripping through his gloves, his boots become stuffed from within before exploding to relieve reptilian-like feet, his face starts to stretch into a snout, his skin begins to harden into scales. His overall body changed to that of a dragon's.
Walker's eyes widen in further surprise, he was never expecting the punk to come up with a plan to counter his own let alone for him to transform into a fucking dragon.
Opening his mouth Phantom relieved dozens of razor sharp teeth but more unsettling is the glowing blue flames. With the sound of an inhale Walker realizes exactly what's about to happen, a stream of blue fire erupts from Phantom's mouth and Walker barely has enough time to put up an ecto-shield.
"Ah…" The citizens scream in terror as the flames mold around Walker's shield before conforming around the protective dome.
"Urg…" Walker groans in pain as his shield is breached and he's slammed against the dome.
A figure drops out of the sky between the citizens and the dome, she places a hand on the dome and reinforces it.
"Weaver!" Gears voice calls out from behind her.
He lands next to her before placing his hand on the dome and beginning to reinforcing it himself.
"What happened?" Gear in conclusion and in effort.
"Walker pissed him off," Weaver said as she was able to relax a bit. "He mentioned that after he locks Phantom away he would have his way with me."
Gear narrows his eyes, "No wonder he's so pissed, but in all seriousness you need to calm him down."
Spellweaver looks at him with a shocked look, "What?!"
Gear looks at her with narrowed eyes, "I don't know a single thing about magic but what I can conclude the two of you are connected."
Weaver blushes slightly as she looks back at citizens before sighing to herself, "Darling why do you always have to make me show off how much I love you?"
She pulls her hands away from the dome and steps into the dome, as she passes her clothes instantly changes. She goes from wearing a set of mage-like robes with various types of arcane designs to some kind of dress. It's a deep purple which goes down to her ankles with various kinds black diagonal stripes trail down from her waist. From said waist the fabric shows off her hips and even crosses over her midsection before covering her breasts and wrapping around her neck. Over her arms are some translucent sleeve that matches the color of her dress and with her shoulders exposed. Her hair is braided and has flowers embedded into it. As she walks it finally becomes apparent that she's wearing heels.
As she walks she instinctively knows not to use his real name so she had to use a name not many would use, "Dante." She says aloud but it doesn't get his attention so she must use a name that only he would know, "Rorek."
This causes him to turn to her, the pupil of his eyes go from thin slits to round olive shapes and the flames in his mouth immediately go out.
Weaver continues to walk forward, "This isn't you." His eyes narrow slightly before she continues, "Although you were born of Wrath, you are not a creature of rage." Phantom looks away in shame, "The day is won, you have won." She places her hand on his snout and speaks not with mouth or through their link but through their souls, "Come back to me Danny."
With a burst of red energy Danny's rage is released and he begins to transform back into the form that everyone knows him as. As he falls to the ground Sam caughts him in her arms and unconsciously pulls him into her breasts.
She goes to her knees and then notices that portal gun Tucker created for them. She summons it to her hand with a bit of magic, and points it at Walker. He struggles to hold his hand in an attempt to sway her not to but it goes unanswered as she pulls the trigger.
Walker groans in pain as he's pulled back into the Ghost Zone.
The silence of everything coming to a close is broken with the steps of Maddie walking up next to Spellweaver.
Maddie holds out her head, "I suggest that you get away from that filthy ghost but also hand over that gun."
Instead of answering her she and Phantom disappear in a puff of purple smoke. Maddie looks around in shock before spotting Gear how wordlessly flies away.
(Time Skip)
About fifteen minutes later Gear stands on top of one of the many roofs of Amity Park. He created the portal gun; one his Scarab Drones recorded and analyzed the Fenton's Portal Bazaka. After Danny explained his plan, I was relieved that I knew about the weapon. I began with the interior; compacting the machines into a handheld gun, improving the accuracy and ammo capacity and as a bonus I made it capable of refilling its ammo with Danny's. Unfortunately one drawback to the gun is that there's no way to know in the ghost zone where the portal will show up.
"Amiko," Wulf's voice comes out as a whisper, causing Gear to break his thoughts and turn to him. "Kio okazis al la aliaj?"
"Phantom took a lot of damage and," Gear says before pausing. "His mate took him back to the Ghost Zone to heal."
Wulf gives a low growl but nods, "Kaj kio pri mi, kion mi faru poste?"
Gear smiles at him, "That's completely up to you, if you want to stay then stay, if you want to go then go. If you need help don't hesitate to ask."
Wulf's ears perk up before jumping off the roof, he stops before looking back at Gear and says, "We'll meet again!"
With that he runs off.
"I'll make sure to tell them," Gear yells out before letting out a sigh.
RING RING
Gear looks at his phone to see the caller ID, Artemis.
He smiles before answering, "Hey what's up?"
"Not much, just saw the news," Valerie's voice seems to whisper through the other side. "Is everyone okay?"
Her tone suggests that she's with someone so he adjusted his would be answer, "From what I understand the victims of the ghost possession won't remember anything."
"That's good," She whispers.
He decides to ask the hell merry, "You're with someone aren't you?"
"I am," She says lovely as if she was emotionally involved with this person.
That hits him, he knew that what they have, it was temporary and not to be taken seriously.
"Must have been a good time," He says, trying to keep on her good side.
She giggles, "Yeah I laid out Star all over the bed."
"I'm sorry what," He asked in confusion.
"Yeah my dad got us our own room so we've been having our own good time," She says shamelessly.
"Oh," He says before going for broke. "I'm assuming that's a regular thing then?"
"That's the mystery isn't it," Another femenine voice suddenly whispers on the other side before the line disconnects.
Location: Ghost Zone
Walker let out a pained groan as he landed on some random island. Bullet and another guard begin to help him up; however the guards all disappear into puffs of green smoke.
Unbalanced Walker falls back to the ground.
As Bullet is about to help him only for a hand to stop him.
He looks back and widens his eyes at the sight of three Observers.
"Leave us Bounty Hunter," The head Observer says.
Bullet hesitates for a moment before flying off.
The Observers then turn to Walker.
The second in command raises a hand stopping Walker from healing.
"You have much to answer for Walker," the first says.
Walker grits teeth, "I have done what you have assigned to me."
The first continues for the second was here to prevent Walker from healing while the third was here in case Walker got violent, "You were assigned to imprison the criminals of the Ghost Zone not in prison everyone within your territory. You were tasked with confiscating Earth world items and bringing them to us, not using them to strengthen your own forces. We gave you two gifts. Do you remember what they were?"
"My memories and the power to create Wraiths," Walker groans.
"Yes we did. In life you were killed in the very prison you ran, we had hoped that you had learned your lesson." The first allows that statement to hang in the air for a moment before continuing, "You are lucky we are inclined to give you a second chance." The three of them begin to walk away, "Be sure that you don't make us regret it."
The three of them fly away and the power that prevented him from healing faded away.
Location: Phantom's Lair
Spellweaver and Phantom fall onto the bed and the two of them transform back into their human forms leaving Sam and Danny in their place.
She knew that Danny wouldn't let her leave so instead she made their clothes disappear before finally pulling the cover over them.
Sleep came easily for the two of them and the thought of healing was only on their minds.
