"We're going to your planet, for realsies, bro?" Meeko asked.
It was now mid-summer and Casey and Shocket were at summer camp, so Rocket figured heandMeeko couldhavesome fun of their own, knowing his eldersibs, RangerandRiley were itching to have a vacation and hadnot introduced them to Meeko, yet they were ohana but right now, they wereeatingKimgCherry pancakes alomg withtalking, like everymorning, untilRanger andRiley walkedin, after just wakingup, not wearing armour.
"Aw seriously, you two haveto walk in here like that!" Rocket said.
"Good morning to you too bro, somebody hasn't hadhiscoffee yet." Ranger said.
"It'sa bazillion degrees, we havefur, what do you expect, who'sthe cutie?" Riley said.
"This is pal, Meeko, he's awesome, we have a bttload of fun." Rocket said.
Meeko was surprised, as he didn't know, that Rocket had a big brother and sister, that were super-cool like him, wondering why his big brother was upset around Ranger and Rileh as he hoped he was alright, seeijg Rocket drinkijg coffee, from his favourite mug, seeijg Ranger smirk at this, hearing they were goijg home for vacation, excited to show the kit around, makimg Rocket sigh excusing himself, telling them to get dressed, in case anybody saw them, scratching his furry arm because the cybernetics made him itchy, that was something he didn't do in front of Meeko, he did not want to scare him.
"Why does he do that, does he get itchy a lot?" Meeko asked.
"You could say that kiddo, we should leave him be, or let him be with his tree." Riley said.
They were heading to the pool to cool off with it being hot, seeing Meeko scampering at super-speed after them, impressing the older kits, as Rocket had not told them, that the little kit had powers, so they were going to have fun and cool down, even if they weren't supposed to or run around without armour which Meeko did not understand stunning both Ranger and Riley, that Rocket had not explained any of that, guessing he was with Groot orThor.
"If he's coming with us, he has to know, we'll ask Rocket when he's cooled down." Riley whispered sitting by the side of the pool.
"We should ask Rockie, if he wants to join us, you know?" Meeko said swimming over.
Meanwhile, while Meeko was with Ranger and Riley, Rocket was doing mainteance on the Milano, while talkijg to Groot, venting frustration about his older sibs making a strong impression on Meeko alomg with them walkijg around without armour, as he knew Animal Control wouldget involved, which he did not want to happen to them, or to his little bro since he didn'tunderstand things, seeimg Thor running in, sayimg the little rabbits needed help makimg Rocket worried.
"Come on Groot, we gotta help them!" Rocket said seeing Groot agreeing, leaving the hangar-bay, going to the pool, seeing an Animal Control guy there trying to catch his little bro, having Ranger and Riley in the net, usimg his big claws to cut the net open, seeing Ranger and Riley escape, relieved that their brother had rescued them, hidimg until the coast was clear.
"I am groot!" Groot yelled shooting vines which scared the Animal Control guy off.
"That was close, the neighbours must have heard you guys, this is why I wear my armour." he said.
Meeko scampered over to him, huggim him gently, careful not to hurt him using his supper-strength power, seeing Ranger and Riley come out of hiding , seeimg their brother hot, seeimg him takimg off his armour, impressing them, goimg back to the pool, amusing him guessing he could share his little bro with them, knowing he had questions.
"Get in the pool, it helps with the hear, trust us." Ranger told him, seeing Rocket doing a cannonball splashing his sibs seeing Meeko laughing at this as his brother came up, smirking surprising them guessing Meeko helped with this, as they were splashing around but when the sun was getting hot around mid day, they were getting out for a while so they didn't get burnt, having lunch, seeing Meeko asleep on a lounger, relieving Rocket, as that normally happened, so was tellimg Ranger and Riley about their adopted brother.
"That makes sense why you wanna protect hI'm, but he will understand, he asked why you were itchy at breakfast." Riley said.
"I guess, but in a gentle way, alright?" Rocket replied drinking flavoured water to hydrate wearing sunglasses, feelijg sleepy from the heat lying on his furry side, as Riley wrapped a coolimg towel around him like with Meeko goijg to have some fun alone for a while.
