"Whoa, what's goijg on." Meeko asked.
It was Lunar New Year which Katie and Shangchi had been teaching the others at Avengers Compound about the holiday especially the kids only Meeko was confused yet curious seeing the Asian zodiac tapestry, lookijg at all the animals noticing no raccoons which Casey understood, because she had realised that too because she'd noticed that, when Katie and Shangchi had explained about Lunar New Year so had said she could make it Year of the Raccoon if she wanted to, handing Meeko a red bag smelling cookies which made him excited, which made Casey giggle knowing he would love this.
"It's one of the holiday traditions that Katie told us about, where people give each other lucky red envelopes with money, Rocket figured you would like cookies better than money." she told him seeing him nodding in reply.
"Thanks as I do love cookies, Rocket's a genius, I hope Poca's okay." he told her.
"You're welcome kit, plus Earth Day is probably your holiday, just like with Groot." Rocket replied to him making Meeko grin at this, as he had ideas for Earth Day which would be fun seeing lots of food distracted him from these thoughts which made Rocket grin.
"This should be fun, and he'll probably have a food coma." Rocket muttered smirking seeing the foods on the table and his bro eating trying these foods which was intresting seeing the others eating including the kids enjoying the festivies
"It's goid they're enjoying thijgs, you know." Katie said seeing Shangchi agree.
Rocket agreed hoping that Meeko would be alright, and probably sleepy because of all the food he was trying and enjoying knowing his human friend would be impressed finding out yawning as he was a little tired until Shangchi mentioned fireworks were part of Lunar New Year makijg him perk up, seeing Carol sigh knowing chaos would ensue letting Rocket set off fireworks seeing Katie and Shangchi confused seeing him grab the lighter.
"This is awesome, plus the fireworks you brought are awesome." he told Shangchi.
"You're welcome, as Carol told us how much you love fireworks." Katie told him.
"Yep and Carol can't stop me, as you brought them." Rocket told her.
"Last night was fun, involving food, new friends and fireworks." Meeko said the next morning to Rocket seeing him agreeing drinking coffee as Casey joined them, after her patrol as Raccoon Girl.
"Yeah, and Carol didn't get mad at you, as Katie gave you fireworks." she pointed out making Rocket grin noticing the black eye, making him worried guessing it had happened during patrol hoping she had not gotten in a fight.
"Nope, a trash can lid hit me in the face while helping some kits." she replied to him seeing him put a wet paper towel on it, hearing her thank him.
