"Wait, there's a holiday that celebrates nature." Meeko asked.
"Yep, it's called Earth Day, maybe you can teach the others about the forest and stuff like Lunar New Year." Rocket said to him making Meeko excited about this, guessing he could share his knowledge of the forest, plus Rocket had an idea.
Maybe we could plant trees for Earth Day, he'd like this as he must be feeling homesick again so this might help.
"Really, they want to know what I know about the forest." Meeko asked.
"Yep, plus we can plant trees as part of it." Rocket replied seeing him excited.
He loved seeing his little brother excited about this as it involved things he loved like the forest he and Poca lived in feeling a weird feeling in his stomach being quiet hearing Rocket asking if he was alright, breaking him out of his thoughts.
"Yeah I'm okay, I guess, let's get something to eat." Meeko replied.
He was finding cookies making him smile again, which relieved Rocket that his brother was feeling better guessing eating made the kit feel better, guessing he was anxious about sharing his knowledge of the forest with the others.
"I think somebody's homesick, as he was excited about Earth Day and the plans I came up with, then he got quiet all of a sudden." Rocket told Casey a whilelater while Meeko was taking an nap.
"Maybe he's trying to be brave in front of us." she replied to him.
Rocket guessed she had a point as he'd told the male kit that he could share what he knew about the forest guessinng that had made the homesick feels return feeling bad feeling her squeeze his paw gently guessing they could make Meeko feel better.
"Yeah, maybe planting a tree might help him." Rocket murmur.
He was getting what they needed to do it, making Meeko curious until he realised what they were doing smiling, following him outside ijto the grounds of the campus so were doing so, seeing Meeko so happy it made him happy, hearing Meeko say, it could be a cookie tree making Rocket chuckle.
