The dragon station of East Liverpool where King Charles' servants to go out to buy some supplies. Today was different as only three knights, two girls, and a halfling. were the the dragons' only remaining passengers. The entire community of East Liverpool left early to travel to New Rad for a celebration. They were all invited by Connor Nickell. Outside on the street waiting. Connor and his three friends stood waiting for the arrival of Claudia, Prim, Sunny, and Toby.

"Alright guys, while we wait for them to get here, has everyone completed their tasks they volunteered for?" Connor asked looking at each of them. "I sent out all of the invitations last night. So for everybody in East Liverpool, the Auxiliary Riders, the Shadowbolts, Queen Jeanne, and Dean Malinda will also be attending. Oh, I can't wait for them to meet Toby!" He beamed excitedly.

Alicia crossed her arms. "Yep, I've already told Applejack, and Big Macintosh to go on ahead on the first carriage so they could set up their apple cart. Applejack made plenty of apple dishes, so there are enough to sell, and also for the little one to try."

Walking over to the small group was Grave. "Yeah, and Pinkie Pie also went ahead to New Rad with the cake she made for the kid. As for me, I plan to give Toby a show he's always gonna remember forever." He rubbed both of his hands together with a sly smile on his face.

Connor nodded at both Grave and Alicia, and turned to the two girls who was standing next to Alicia. "Sugarcaot and Indigo, now you two be nice to Toby. He is new here, and is very shy, and timid around others."

"Yeah. I got it Connor. Alicia told me about the little boy, and how his lost his mom." Sugarcoat replied with a frown.

"Yeah, poor kid. Grave told me too. Don't worry though. Sugarcaot, Sunny, I, and the other Shadowbolts will all be like big sisters to him." Indigo said posing with her arms on her hips.

Together the Shadowbolts became allies of the Warriors and honorary dragon riders. They sometimes aid the Warriors on their fight against Origa to make up for the past misdeeds. They bullied Connor, they turned Owen into Origa's warrior, and they bullied Canterlot High when they were students at Crystal Prep Academy.

After a couple of minutes Prim, Toby, Claudia, and Sunny came walking out of the alley onto the street/ "Hello dears, we are here." Claudia spoke up as they walked up next to the group.

Prim bent her legs down to see if that would be safe and easier for Toby to climb off. He climbed off onto the ground with much ease as Prim stood behind him as back up. She smiled down at him. "Toby sweetie, how about you go with Sunny and meet the other girls? I am sure they will be happy to meet you."

He nodded. "O-okay Prim."

Sunny placed a hand on his shoulder, and smiled softly. "Yeah Toby, you'll really like the girls, I promise." She let Toby walk beside her, making sure to keep close.

"Hey Sugarcoat and Indigo!" The other two smiled, and walked up to her friends. They all hugged, as soon as they broke the hug Sunny bended her legs, and placed an arm over Toby's shoulders. "Girls, I would like you to meet Toby. Toby this is Indigo Zap, and this is Sugarcoat. Together we're the Shadowbolts. YEAH!" They said in unison in a loud booming voice that made the little boy shield his ears with his hands.

He shook a little out of his usual shyness, but giggled softly. "H-hi Indigo Zap, and Sugarcoat." He spoke softly.

Sugarcoat was the first one to reach out a hand, and gently took his hand into shake it lightly. "Hello there Toby, it is great to meet you."

Indigo was up next as she reached out a hand and patted him on the shoulder. "Hey Toby, it's awesome to meet you too."

Luu Luu who stood by the girls quietly walked up to the four with Bigjaw. She smiled at Toby. "Hey there little bubby. His name is Bigjaw, the coolest, Gronckle in East Liverpool. Don't be scared though, he's only a small dragon, and would never bring harm to his friends. He's such a cool kid like you." Bigjaw leaned down and sniffed at Toby's shoulder just like Indigo.

Toby smiled and nodded. "H-hi Bigjaw. It is good to meet you too."

Prim and the others looked with warm smiles upon their faces at the interaction between the three girls, a Gronckle, and a little boy. Suddenly the Nightmares roared as they started to land with the carriage.

Coming to a safe landing, a guard stepped out of the carriage.

Connor led the group one by one of the passenger carts. When it was Toby's turn to board, the guard looked at him suspiciously.

Prim raised an arm as she kindly spoke to the guard. "Oh my apologies. He is with me.. um.. I hope that is okay." She looked down at Toby with a soft smile, then back at the guard.

The guard bowed. "Oh of course princess, it is okay." He looked down at the little boy. "Well, I apologize one young." The guard stepped aside to let the two enter the passenger cart.

"Alright Toby sweetie, you can go sit with Luu Luu, Sugarcoat Indigo, and Sunny, while I go sit with the others, okay little one?" Toby nodded softly, and walked over to join the three girls, and halfling. Prim smiled at him as she went to join the other Warriors.

They were already seated down, and striking up conversations as Prim walked up to them. With a bot of nervousness, she spoke up. "Um.. guys.. can I maybe tell you all something.. um... if it is okay?"

"Of course dear. You know you can tell us anything." Claudia spoke with a soft smile.

"Yeah Prim, what's up?" Grave asked.

"Yeah Prim, what is on your mind?" Alicia watched her with concern.

"Yes Prim, we are your friends, and we are always here to listen." Connor smiled softly as well.

She took a seat beside Claudia, and sighed heavily. "Well.. um.. I really do care for Toby and all, but I just wonder how he got here in East Liverpool? I mean, I just found him curled in front of Sunny's front door. He was just so small that I couldn't abandon him." She lowered her head, and a single tear dropped from her eyes.

Claudia reached over and rubbed her back, delicately. "Prim dear, you were doing what you thought was right, and you are the kindest princess. Also, we all would have done the same thing if either one of us discovered Toby in that condition." The others nodded in unison.

"Th-thank you all. I don't know what I would do without such good friends like you." She lifted her head and turned a bit to smile softly at the young boy that melted her heart. She turned to look at her friends. "Guys.. um. also the night before I found Toby, I made a wish upon a star. I wished I could have a boy or girl of my own to love and care for."

"WHAT?" They all gasped, but tried to be low enough so the others couldn't here them.

Prim nodded. "I know I have Flame and Smoke, and the others, who I love with all my heart, but I would like to feel what it is like to be the mother.

Claudia held one of Prim's hands in both of hers and rubbed it gently. "Prim dear, that is wonderful, but you are already a mother to our dragons, especially Flame and Smoke." Claudia turned to look at the others, especially Toby. "Yet, the little one no longer has his own mom." Her eyes started to tear up at the fact that she turned back to the pink-haired princess. "Maybe you two were meant to find each other dear." Giving her a soft smile.

Connor and the others nodded in agreement. "Claudia is right Prim. Now I don't know how Toby showed up here in East Liverpool either, but maybe we could talk with Kin to see if he might find an answer. It was during a light of a star you made your wish, so he might know something." They all nodded in agreement.

Prim smiled hopefully. "That sounds great Connor. Um... could we do it after the celebration... um... maybe when Toby is asleep? I won't want him to be troubled any of this yet. He has been through enough."

"Of course, we can wait. It would be best to do it while he slept." Connor looked at Prim seriously. "Prim, would it be okay with you if I maybe asked Kin if he could allow us to enter into Toby's dreams? Maybe we could find out more of why he is so timid around others."

Prim sighed deeply. "Um.. I guess that would be okay Connor. Um.. it won't hurt him though for us to go into his dreams, would it?" She asked with a concerned look on her face.

"No, of course not. Kin is a sorcerer after all, so he would know how to keep him calm while he's asleep."

Prim nodded as she looked at all of her friends who returned soft smiled at her. She turned to look behind her at the small child. "Okay Connor, we can do it. I just hope whatever we find isn't too scary." They all nodded un unison as the Nightmares headed towards New Rad
