The bridge before them was twice as long as the previous ones, that Ahsoka could tell with ease. She might not have been fighting on the front lines during the first part of the operation, but now she was.
In fact, she was leading the charge personally.
Glancing over her shoulder, she spotted the familiar white, blue and yellow patterns of the 501st and 212th, loyally following her as she marched forward, towards the towering energy shield protected building before them.
Behind the column of Clones, the remaining two AT-TE's were stationed, ready to provide heavy fire support on a moment's notice. If the droids brought their own heavy armour out to play, they would be reduced to shreds in mere seconds.
Likewise, the situation was the same in the sky. The Separatist fleet had been put in full retreat above Mygeeto, thanks to Yularen's efforts. That meant that whatever ground forces the droids had on the planet were now stranded.
If Grievous really was here, he was stranded. This would be the perfect opportunity to finally eliminate that monster, once and for all.
If the Separatists were able to conjure up some last minute aerial reinforcements, even that wouldn't be enough to stop the Republic's assault, not with the likes of Oddball, Hawk and the Mandalorian Skull Squadron flying above, covering the advancing army.
As far as Ahsoka was concerned, they had the advantage, and it was only a matter of time until the facility before them was a smoldering wreck, and whatever data was inside was in her hands. That was the mission after all.
The Force hummed around her gently, encouraging her forward, towards her goal. Nothing was going to get in her way. Not this time.
"We should have seen some clankers by now. I've got a bad feeling about this." The trepidation in Rex's voice, who had chosen to take point alongside Ahsoka for the operation, was something she shared. They had made it at least halfway across the bridge from where the survivors and wounded of Billaba's legion had been pinned down, but they had yet to encounter any droid resistance. Various pieces of wreckage, both Republic and Separatist, littered the path before them, offering plenty of cover and opportunities for ambushes, but so far, none had been taken.
"Maybe we destroyed all of the droids already?" Ridge commented from behind Rex, earning a chuckle from Jesse. The two Clones had decided to stick by Ahsoka and Rex once again, and Ahsoka had been more than pleased to welcome their company, and their loyalty. They were damn good soldiers, and even better men.
"In that case I guess the Clone War is over! Good job guys! Beers on me when we get back to Coruscant."
"I'll drink to that Jesse!" Ridge replied to the Arc Trooper as they continued on. The further they got, the more uneasy Ahsoka felt. Why weren't the droids attacking them?
Glancing to her side, she spotted Obi-Wan, who was leading his own detachment up front, along with Cody and Crys. The Jedi Master caught her glancing in his direction, and Ahsoka could see that he too felt a sense of unease at their situation. Something was very wrong.
Lifting her commlink on her arm up to her head, Ahsoka began to speak.
"Skull Leader… this is Agent Tano. You boys seeing anything up there?"
It took a few seconds before a reply came through.
"Agent Tano… this is Skull Leader. We're not seeing anything from up here. Looks like the droids have packed up and gone home almost. We are going to do another pass before we bug out."
"Copy that Skull Leader. Stay safe." Ahsoka replied as she cut the comm link, focusing once again on the bridge before them, and the lack of any resistance they were encountering.
Ahsoka didn't know much about the Mandalorian Skull Squadron leader aside from his name. Fenn Rau was apparently an expert pilot, and had taken to teaching several of the Clone pilots during the war, at least according to Rex.
Ahsoka honestly didn't care for what his reputation was. As long as he kept her men safe, that was all that mattered.
"I've got a really bad feeling about this now kid" Rex spoke again, voice quieter, addressing Ahsoka directly.
"I know Rex… something is very wro…"
"MOVEMENT!"
Jesse's cry of alarm was followed by something jumping out of the wreckage of a Vulture droid that lay in their path. The object was spherical, but seemed to possess several appendages, each armed with a nasty looking weapon.
Ahsoka recognized what it was immediately. A Buzz Droid.
The Buzz Droid leapt through the air before anyone could blast it, landing on Rex's helmet and surprising the Captain in the process.
"Arghh! Get it off!"
Ahsoka wasted no time. She ignited her saber, bathing her in a golden glow, before she carefully swung the blade towards the Buzz Droid, slicing it in two and freeing Rex from it's grasp.
"Kriff! Thanks Commander!"
Ahsoka was about to reply when the ambush finally struck, and in a way, Ahsoka was grateful that it finally did.
Droids of various designs emerged from cover before them, a torrent of blaster fire erupting from their forces and speeding towards the advancing Republic army. On instinct, Ahsoka brought her blade up ready to defend, and instantly fell into the motions that Anakin had taught her were the best method to deflect blaster fire. Behind her she heard a few cries from Clones as they were struck by blaster bolts, but she knew there was nothing she could do to help them right now.
"OPEN FIRE!" Rex yelled in command, not that it needed to be said. The Separatist forces might have caught them by surprise, but Ahsoka knew that it wouldn't be enough to defeat the 501st or 212th. They had beaten greater odds before after all, and they would do it again.
A barrage of blue blaster fire joined in with red, sailing past her helmeted head and crashing into the droids, vaporizing many of them in mere moments. Out of the corner of her eye, Ahsoka spotted Obi-Wan, his own lightsaber ignited as he too deflected the oncoming barrage of droid fire, his masterful defensive form making him the most dangerous target on the battlefield by far.
The sound of another pair of lightsabers igniting reminded Ahsoka of the other two Jedi joining them.
Depa Billaba and Caleb Dume worked in tandem with one another, green and blue sabers moving through the air, defending the troops as best they could. Behind them Ahsoka spotted Commander Grey, as well as a small detachment of troopers from their legion who had volunteered to accompany them. It wasn't many, with most needing medical care, which was being overseen by Captain Styles back at base, but it was enough to provide considerable support.
Ahsoka didn't like to think of the Clones as expendable. They were people… not slaves. She had made it clear that it wasn't mandatory to follow her on this mission, and yet the likes of Rex, Ridge, Jesse and all the others had volunteered without hesitation.
Appo too had jumped at the opportunity, assigning himself the role of commanding the AT-TE walkers in back.
'Speaking of which.'
"Sergeant Appo! Status!" Ahsoka called through the commlink as she continued to deflect fire. A droid popper sailed past as she spoke, landing at the feet of a pair of Super Battle Droids and rendering them useless as it released it's EMP, turning the tide in the Republic's favour even further.
"Commander! I've got a mark on a pair of Droid MTTs! Request permission to open fire?"
"Permission granted Appo! Let'em have it!"
"With pleasure Commander!"
The thunderous sounds of the cannons firing from behind hit her montrals as she continued to deflect the incoming blaster fire. In the distance an explosion flashed into existence as one of the MTT's erupted into flames, demonstrating the firepower of the main cannon of the AT-TE's.
"Commander Tano… we have a direct hit. MTT neutralized. Realigning cannons to the next target."
"Copy that Appo! Tell your boys that was a nice shot!"
"Just wait till you see the next one Commander!"
Resisting the urge to chuckle in the middle of a warzone, Ahsoka refocused her efforts on the battle at hand, and began to push forward. Their goal was the facility, and the longer they stood around, the more men they would lose. The droids would not tire, unlike the Clones and Jedi. They could fight almost indefinitely.
"Push forward!" Ahsoka called over the chaos, Rex parroting the words from beside her to further encourage the men as he moved forward, diving behind a piece of cover and blasting an approaching Commando Droid with ease. Spurred on by Rex's bravery, the Republic army pushed forward, cutting their way through the droid defensive lines with surprising ease.
Droid after droid fell to the combined blaster fire of the Republic forces, as well as redirected fire from their own weapons, courtesy of the Jedi present. Ahsoka saw Caleb charge forward, swinging his saber in a vicious arc as he decapitated a trio of B1 droids with ease, before unleashing a Force push towards another group moments later. It had been a while since she had seen the Padawan in action, but she could tell he had improved spectacularly in the time apart. Perhaps one day he would rival even her!
The sound of the AT-TE cannons firing yet again hit her senses as the blue bolts of energy soared over her head, crashing into the second MTT and obliterating it just like the first.
"Ha! Nice one Appo!" Jesse cried from beside her, blaster firing at the droids before him as he moved behind Ahsoka, entering into the standard 'Sword and Shield' maneuver.
"Thanks Jesse! That's what I'm here for!"
The battle continued to rage, the Republic forces making good progress in crossing the bridge despite the Separatist resistance. Wave after wave of droids attacked and ambushed, and each were cut down with surprising ease.
In some respect, it almost seemed like the droids were throwing their lives away in a meaningless fashion. Perhaps they were hoping that they would be able to overwhelm the Republic forces with sheer numbers?
It was a tactic that the droids commonly used, and one she knew had been effective several times… but never against the 501st or 212th, much less when the two legions were combined.
Next to nothing could stop them… not even a Jedi or Sith. If Count Dooku was to face them, Ahsoka was certain that he'd lose.
Perhaps even Darth Sidious would as well? Ahsoka hoped he would at least.
'Hopefully… but then Sidious has kept his identity hidden from everyone for years! What chance do the boys have against a ghost!'
Shaking off those thoughts, Ahsoka focused on what was ahead of them.
Droidekas. Specifically, a line of them.
What made matters worse was the situation they had found themselves in. The sheer amount of debris covering the bridge they had been advancing on had made it impossible for the AT-TEs to advance any further. The Republic had been forced to proceed on foot without the use of their heavy walkers.
The AT-TEs had instead focused their efforts on bombarding the enemy shield from afar. The firepower wouldn't breach the shield, but it might scare the droid leadership into surrender, or at the very least keep them distracted and paranoid.
Without the support of the walkers however, there was no way to break through the line of Droidekas, except for air support.
Air support that Ahsoka had already called in.
"Agent Tano, this is Skull Leader. We are commencing our attack run. Standby."
"Copy that Skull Leader!" Ahsoka replied into comm as she ordered the Clones around her to take cover and shield themselves.
White, blue and yellow armoured figures, along with a trio of Jedi dived for cover behind debris, and moments later hell descended upon the Separatist forces.
Ahsoka watched through her visor as a squadron of nine Mandalorian Fang-class fighters descended from the clouds above, followed swiftly by a trio of LAAT gunships that were bringing additional reinforcements to the fight.
The Mandalorian fighters flew down and opened fire, their cannons aimed for the line of Droidekas with unsurprising accuracy. Mandalorians were dangerous foes both on the ground and in space, and their technology was second to none.
Skull Squadron's shots hit their mark with ease, vaporizing the line of Droidekas within a single pass and clearing the area for reinforcements before pulling back up into the clouds above, their job complete.
"Agent Tano, mission accomplished. We will remain on station. Call us if you need another run."
"Copy that Skull Leader, we are in your debt."
"We're all in this together."
Rau cut the comm link this time as his squadron rose above the clouds and out of sight once again. A smile came to Ahsoka's face. Hopefully she'd get the chance to meet this Fenn Rau in person once this mission was over. She owed him a drink for saving her men!
'Her men? But they aren't my men anymore… are they? I left… and they helped chase me down when I was on the run! What do I owe them really?'
Ahsoka snapped that train of thought shut as quickly as it had appeared. They had just been following orders. Besides, no one in the 501st had actually thought she had bombed the Jedi Temple… had they?
"Captain Rex… reinforcements are deployed, returning to Venator." The voice of the Clone pilot Phoenix echoed across the comm link as the trio of LAAT transports finished deploying the fresh troops, before beginning to lift off.
"Copy that Phoenix, thanks for the support."
"Anytime Captain. I live to…"
Phoenix's response was cut short as a missile soared through the air and hit the lead LAAT gunship, blowing one of the wings off in the process and sending it on a downward spiral towards the bridge.
Ahsoka reacted instantly.
"TAKE COVER!"
Clones and Jedi alike dived to the ground as the LAAT crashed onto the bridge just ahead of them, erupting in an explosion in the process.
"PHOENIX! DAMMIT!" Ridge's voice cried across the battlefield in horror, anger evident. Ahsoka felt much the same. Those droid bastards would pay.
"MOVE UP TO THE WRECKAGE! CHECK FOR SURVIVORS!" The voice of Cody, ever steady and confident, ordered his troops as both he and Obi-Wan sprinted ahead towards the downed LAAT.
The crash had practically destroyed the transport, and the chances of there being any survivors was slim, but they still had to check. They owed it to Phoenix at least.
Following Cody and Obi-Wan's lead, Ahsoka vaulted up over cover and sprinted forward, golden saber deflecting several errant blaster bolts that came her way, protecting the Clones that she knew were following behind her.
What was in fact seconds to reach the downed gunship felt like forever, but upon arrival, Ahsoka breathed a sigh of relief.
Clone Trooper Crys had pulled upon the cracked cockpit of the LAAT, and had extracted a bloodied and battered Phoenix from the wreckage. The Clone was badly wounded and missing his helmet, but thankfully he was alive.
"Last time I drop reinforcements off for you guys!" Phoenix called over with a smirk as Ahsoka and Rex approached to help Crys set him down. The medic of the 212th approached from behind and got to work immediately.
As much as Ahsoka wanted to stay and help, she knew they had more important matters to attend to right now. Phoenix would be fine.
Glancing up over the LAAT wreckage, Ahsoka took in the battlefield.
The destruction of the Droideka defense line by Skull Squadron's hand had opened up the field for the Republic forces. The droids were once again in full retreat to the facility, taking cover behind its shield.
Within the shield, Ahsoka could see the bridge open up into a large courtyard area, where many battledroids awaited.
And there, in the back of the courtyard was a ray shielded doorway. That was her goal.
"Rex!" Ahsoka called to the Captain as he pointed over to the doorway she needed to get to. The Clone Captain took in the battlefield as well before he nodded his head.
"Copy that Commander. Troopers! With me! We've gotta take out those droids in the courtyard so the Generals can get past that ray shield. Everyone clear?"
"Sir yes Sir!"
With his order received and understood, Rex turned back to Ahsoka and spoke just loud enough so that only she could hear him.
"If you run into trouble, call me, yeah?"
"Always." Ahsoka responded as she clasped his offered arm in a sign of companionship. She wouldn't call him unless it was absolutely necessary, but she appreciated him looking out for her still. She could always rely on Rex.
Turning to her side, Ahsoka spotted Caleb and Depa, both of whom were ready for their part of the plan. Through the Force she felt Obi-Wan nudge her, signalling that he too was ready to assist.
Taking a deep breath, she nodded.
And then the Clones charged.
The battle to the courtyard was as difficult as Ahsoka had expected it to be. Endless waves of various droids, including several Commando variants, had stood in their way. An endless barrage of blaster fire exchanged on both sides made it hard to see anything in any direction, but they had pushed through.
Yes, men had been lost. Ahsoka had witnessed Jesse take a shot to the chest that knocked him over and out, but he was thankfully still alive.
Rex too had been hit on the shoulder, but the Clone Captain had shrugged off the damage and made the droid who had scored the hit pay.
Despite the losses however, they had succeeded in breaching the shield and the courtyard, and once again what remained of the droid forces were forced into a retreat.
Smiling beneath her helmet at their success so far, Ahsoka turned her attention to her new goal. The ray shielded door.
"Artoo! You're up buddy!" Ahsoka called over the white and blue astromech, who rolled out from behind cover as the Clones picked off the remaining droids. Rex had taken the lead in clearing the courtyard along with Ridge and Grey.
Artoo released a series of beeps as he rolled towards Ahsoka, dodging errant blaster fire as best he could considering the circumstances. Pivoting her own blade, Ahsoka deflected a stray bolt away from Commander Cody, who stood between her and Obi-Wan, covering them both with the sword and shield maneuver.
"Watch out buddy!" A cry came from Caleb as he moved to support Artoo, deflecting a series of blasts from the astromech in the process before being joined by his Master, Depa. The two worked in tandem to cover Artoo's advance before he reached the ray shielded door.
Pointing to a terminal she had found, Ahsoka positioned herself in front of Artoo as the droid got to work, inserting one of his many pieces of internal equipment into the terminal and getting to work.
It took a few moments before the astromech released another series of high pitched sounds, one's that Ahsoka recognized as joy, as the ray shield deactivated, and the door beyond opened.
"That's one effective droid!" Depa commented as she moved back to assist Ahsoka, smiling down at Artoo in the process, who beeped happily.
"That he is. Rex! We're going inside. Think you can handle the shield generator?" Ahsoka called over the combat to her friend, who ducked behind cover whilst turning to face her, his position being replaced by Ridge for the meantime.
"Sure thing Commander. Signal if you need help!"
Ahsoka nodded in confirmation before she turned and passed through the threshold of the now opened doorway. Artoo moved to join her, bringing up what looked like a holomap in the process.
Caleb and Depa came next, with Obi-Wan and Cody bringing up the rear. The Clone Commander had given command of his legion to Rex for now, instead opting to support the Jedi if they needed it. Ahsoka knew that having someone who didn't use a lightsaber could be a big benefit in the right situation, and Cody was one of the best.
"Artoo, where is the central lab?" Ahsoka questioned as she glanced at the holomap. Artoo must have acquired it when he sliced into the system. Once again the astromech was proving to be one of the most reliable people in the universe.
Artoo buzzed and beeped several times before a section of the map highlighted bright yellow. It was a large central chamber that appeared to be only a few corridors away. That was clearly where they needed to be.
"Good job Artoo. Let's move everyone." Ahsoka replied as she took point once again, ignited lightsaber still in her hand, fully expecting an ambush.
She recalled the Chancellor's briefing, as well as the Magnaguard she had fought earlier. General Grievous was supposed to be on site, but no one had seen him yet. Perhaps he was hiding?
Or perhaps he had already left. Ahsoka hoped it was the former. It was about time someone put that cyborg scum down.
Moving forward, Ahsoka's eyes analysed the hallways of the Separatist base. The architecture was the same as the two previous facilities she had encountered, not that she was surprised. All Separatist buildings seemed to have the same drab lifeless hallways. The perfect habitat for battledroids really.
"No guards? I don't like this." Cody voiced aloud what everyone was privately thinking, earning a nod of agreement from his Jedi General in the process as he replied.
"Yes it does seem peculiar that the droids put up such a formidable fight outside but do nothing to protect the interior."
"Maybe we destroyed all the droids from in here?" Caleb quipped with humour, earning a chuckle from Depa and Cody, as well as a series of humours beeps from Artoo.
"I wish it were that easy Padawan."
"I know Master… sorry."
"No need to apologise. Humour is useful in situations such as these."
Ahsoka couldn't help but be reminded of her and Anakin's earlier relationship. They too had gotten through tough situations using humour as a form of escape. Obi-Wan too had joined in on occasion.
It was odd really, to use such a thing as a form of distraction, especially considering what it was a distraction from. Endless war and death and suffering was anything but funny.
'Beep beep… beep... beep beep beep?'
"I don't know Artoo? Why didn't the Hutt cross the road?"
'Beep beep beep beep!'
No one was able to stop themselves from laughing at Artoo's attempt at telling a joke. It seemed even the astromech enjoyed humour in grim situations. No doubt that was Anakin's influence.
"Heh! Good one Artoo!" Cody commented from behind as he continued to chuckle, something was rare for the Clone Commander. Ahsoka was pleased to see he wasn't always a stickler for the rules.
It took them a good ten minutes before they finally found the room they were after. Artoo brought up the holomap again to show that they were on the opposite side of the door that led to the central chamber that Ahsoka assumed was the lab.
Turning to her companions, Ahsoka nodded, asking if they were ready.
She received four nods in response.
"Open the door Artoo."
Artoo did as she commanded, and the door slid open.
Again, Ahsoka took point through the threshold of the door, entering the large chamber within.
The first thing that caught Ahsoka's attention was just how bright it was. Various lights flooded the room in a bright white glow, illuminating everything within.
What was inside was a sight that was very familiar to Ahsoka. Rows upon rows of glass containers filled with a thick green liquid stood, and inside each of them was one of the creatures the Separatists had been studying. Ahsoka recalled them being named Ysalamir in a log in the base on Hypori.
She didn't know much about the Ysalamir as a species, and despite an attempt to research them, she had found out very little information. All she really knew was what the Hypori logs had told them.
The most important feature of those has been the Ysalamir's resistance to Force-sensitive beings, as well as its ability to negate the Force itself.
Ahsoka had previously deduced that that ability was what the Separatists were hoping to replicate as a bioweapon against the Jedi, something that Count Dooku of all people had confirmed moments later.
And from the look of the dozens of storage tanks before them, it seemed the Separatist 'Project Nullify' was advancing quickly. It could even be completed and ready for deployment!
"Artoo! Find another terminal and download any and all information from it. We need to know what this place is. Extract a copy of any research you can." Ahsoka commanded as the astromech rolled up beside her, beeping in confusion at the sight of the liquid-suspended Ysalamir.
"This reminds me of Hypori." Caleb spoke softly from behind as he moved to examine a Ysalamir himself as Artoo vanished from sight to find a terminal to plug into, his hand gently resting against the glass container, a mournful look on his face. "They're all dead, same as last time."
"I guess the scientists don't need them alive for study?" Depa inquired as she joined her Padawan, eyes studying the endless rows of containers.
"Perhaps that's a mercy on their part? I'd hate to think what they do to the creatures when they are alive!" Cody commented as he moved about the room, checking the corners for hostiles. It occurred to Ahsoka that they still hadn't encountered any resistance within the lab thus far. Had the Separatists really just abandoned their research project?
"Any information we bring back to the Jedi Council will be vital to understanding Count Dooku's plan with this lab. Even still, I recommend we raze it to the ground after Artoo is done." It was Obi-Wan, of all people, who voiced the collective thought in the room. The tone in his voice was grim and dark in a manner that shocked Ahsoka. In a lot of ways, he sounded like Anakin in that moment.
"Agreed Master Kenobi." Ahsoka replied as she surveyed the entire room once more, looking for something, anything else she could bring back, as the Chancellor had requested of her. The data would likely be enough of course, but if she could bring back physical proof of the weapon, if it was even ready…
Well… maybe the Jedi Council would actually take a threat seriously for once!
"This feels like a trap to…" Cody began before he was suddenly silenced by a loud sound that echoed around the room, startling everyone.
Seconds later, the trap sprung!
Ray shields erupted into life from above, trapping each of them in their own separate bubbles, rendering them unable to interact with anything in the room.
"Ah kriff!" Ahsoka muttered as she reached out a hand and tapped the newly formed shield around her, watching it shimmer in response to her touch.
"You were saying Cody?" Obi-Wan spoke dryly as he too tapped the shield around him, as if trying to find a weak spot.
Cody began to speak again before someone beat him to it.
A series of harsh, modulated chuckles echoed throughout the room as a figure dropped down from the roof, landing with a loud clang before raising up to his full height, golden reptilian eyes peering out at them from behind his face plate.
If he could, Ahsoka would be willing to bet that a sadistic and smug smirk would be present on General Grievous' face.
The cyborg General glanced around at his captives, before his eyes locked squarely on Kenobi as he spoke.
"Hello there, General Kenobi."
Author's thoughts
Oh hi. Been a while I realize. Sorry about that. Personal life and issues and whatnot took precedence. Happens on occasion. On the bright side I've made some decent progress with my future chapter drafts. This story arc is fully drafted and I have begun writing the final arc of the story. How long it will take me to finish it remains to be seen but I very much doubt it'll be done this year! Oh well. This story has been going on since 2018. What's one more year? XD
This chapter was pretty much just endless chaos of battle. Hopefully the description for the scenes were done well enough for you all to be able to follow what was happening. Writing battle chapters is still a weakness of mine if I do say so myself. XD
On the other side of the spectrum, the team have finally managed to infiltrate the facility, and soon secrets will be revealed that could drastically alter the direction of the Clone Wars. What that is you'll have to wait and see.
Overall, this was a rather simplistic chapter. Some might call it filler, but hey... who cares. A change of pace is nice now and then.
In regards to the next chapter. No promises how soon it will be. All depends on recent events for me. Hopefully I'll be able to post it sooner rather than later, but sorry in advance for any delays.
Once again thanks to my beta reader 'ArrinSnyders' for all his help making this story good. His continued assistance is invaluable, believe me!
Next time round, the truth behind 'Project Nullify' if revealed.
As usual, comment and speculate at will. Speaking of which:
DroidePlane: Glad you enjoyed the end of the rescue. Big battle chapters are hard to write, but I think I got them down good. :)
To describe the chips simply, they are inside every Clone's brain. Disguised as aggression inhibiting chips, when the words 'Execute Order 66' are given by Palpatine, the Clones essentially fall under mind control and try to kill the Jedi closest to them. It's how the Order gets wiped out so easily. The Clones have no control over their bodies, and the Jedi were completely unprepared for it. In the previous chapter, Boils' chip malfunctioned and activated early, hence why he tried to kill Ahsoka before Jesse stepped in. The chip can be removed however.
And no worries about the account name change. It's cool. Hope you enjoyed this chapter. XD
Cat-Gods-Of-The-Cat-People: Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the chapter and character dynamics. They are such fun to write. XD
Hope this chapter was worth the wait.
Darth Zyn: Thanks! Glad you loved it.
Order 66 (assuming it actually happens like in canon), is a while off yet... but stayed tuned for more developments with it. As for Katooni... I've got some stuff planned for her, so don't worry. She won't be a major character, but she will certainly appear.
Thristan: Glad you liked the Thrawn appearance! XD
tf330129: Trying my best, believe me. XD
Mad about the Boro: Thanks! Pleased you liked it. And yeah... that was super convenient timing. Wasn't planned whatsoever. XD
1saaa: 0_0 How long did that take... or did you just copy and paste an awful lot?! XD
Australian Dealer: Interesting bit of speculation you've got there. You might be on the right track. XD
Hopefully the chapter was interesting enough for you. XD
TragicFiction: Yeah... think there might have been an error on Fanfics end when I last uploaded. Sorry about that. Hopefully it's all cleared up now! XD
Boil got lucky that Jesse was there (lets face it... no way he'd of been able to take down Mandalorian armoured Ahsoka!)
As for Anakin... yeah... poor dude got exploded! At least he's ok though! XD
blarg7865: You will have to wait and see who the first big death is. Sorry in advance if it upsets you or anyone else.
GuardianAngel87: Yeah I saw at the time. Error on fanfics end I reckon. Hopefully it works now! Sorry about that. :(
RyanSquad: R.I.P Ranger indeed. He died with honor... saving his General. Hopefully that doesn't bite anyone in the ass at a later date! XD
Ahsoka wouldn't of killed Boil if he attacked her. Maybe disarm him like you said, but definitely not kill, not unless she was absolutely forced to for some reason.
Ahsoka no doubt upset to hear Anakin was hurt, but at the same time she's got a job to do, and she knows it'll take more than an explosion to kill Anakin. At least she went to visit him after the meeting though! XD
