Planet Sera: Ruined city of Chumbawamba
"This is gamma squad," said an armored man "Approaching city now,"
"Be on the look-out gamma squad," said a voice over the comm. "Two squads vanished from this city, intelligence states it could be the work of the locust,"
"Copy that command," said the squad leader
"Sir, look up ahead," said one of the squad members
The entire gamma squad all see a large black spire being constructed as it looks very menacing that almost towers the entire ruined city and what made no sense at all is objects of interest that were unfamiliar to them, these machines don't look like locust.
"Command," said the squad leader "We have a visual of a large black spire being built,"
"Locusts," said the voice "Give us a visual"
"Understood," said the squad leader "Wait something is happening,"
"What is happening?," asked the voice
Weapons fire is heard in the background as the squad leader replied "We are under attack by unknown hostile forces," weapons fire and screams are heard over the communications device as gamma squad is under attack from all directions, until static is heard and dead silence as command terminates transmission, as it got the image of the attackers and the black spire being built.
COG headquarters Jacinto
Colonel Victor Hoffman sat at his desk as he looked really annoyed at what he is seeing, three squads now gone in the ruined city Chumbawamba to unknown forces that are not the locust and some kind of black spire is being built. This made no sense and he knows something has to be done, and done right now. He decided he'll send the best and the best squad there is, is delta squad.
"Stroud," said Hoffman "Have delta squad report to me at once,"
"Right away sir," said Stroud over the communications channel
The colonel waited for a moment to have Delta squad to come in and a moment too soon as Marcus Fenix and his squad walks on in looking intimidating and imposing as ever just like the rest of his men. He will never admit to their faces, but he respects Delta squad and the work they have done so far.
"Delta squad reporting as ordered, sir," said Fenix
"You and your squad have a new mission," said Hoffman
"Are the locusts back, man I like to run over their asses," said Cole "Nothing stops the Cole train,"
"Put a lid on it will ya," said Baird
"My trigger finger is getting rather itchy," said Dom
"All right listen up," said Hoffman "Here is the deal," he explained the situation fully and shows them images of what they have.
"Whoever they are," said Fenix "We'll take out hard and fast, do we have back-up,"
"Negative," said Hoffman "Prescott's orders and there is something else,"
"What is it," asked Fenix
"The COG base at the jungle Taio had a visitor," said Hoffman "A strange man warning us about a Dimensional Empire bent on conquering other dimensions,"
"You got a name of this man," said Fenix
"He calls himself Gordon Freeman," Hoffman
"I take it didn't go well sir," said Baird
"Not in the slightest bit," said Hoffman "And the report makes no sense at all, Prescott has order this man to be captured due to,"
"Due to what sir," said Fenix
"The man's suit," said Hoffman "The encountered happened several hours ago,"
Planet Sera: Jungle of Taio
Several hours ago
A portal opened up as Gordon Freeman stepped out of the portal as it closed behind him he found himself in a smelly jungle that is hot and damp, his hazmat suit can handle it as he began to walk in the jungle and all is quiet, he looked up in the sky to notice the skies are dark and not very sunny. He started to do a scan of this dimension by using his suits scanners to detect any transmissions, then after a few moment his suit detected transmissions and coming from very far away.
Using the omni-tool to get a grid location of where he needs to go and at first Gordon though this was the Amazon rain forest, however by the looks of it appears to be not the case. After that he kept on walking in the jungle and then up ahead he sees a large structure, Gordon figured it could be a base of some sort and then he came to the front doors, then all of a sudden red dots formed on him as a dozen armed people surrounded him.
"Halt, in the name of the COG," said the woman "Identify your self,"
"You first lady and I don't know what this COG is," said Gordon
"That's Major lady to you jackass," said the woman in charge
"Major Jackass," said Gordon "Who would of thought of that,"
"Ugh, never mind I am Major Christine," said the major "You don't look like COG, where are you from,"
"Seattle," said Gordon "Are we on Earth,"
"Earth!, Earth is a fucking shit hole," said the Major "Were on Sera, now who are you and what do you want,"
"Uh can we explain it inside," said Gordon
"Fine," said the Major and then yelled out "Open the door,"
The doors opened as Gordon Freeman is escorted inside by a dozen armed men and women who have some sort of strange armor and weapons.
