The clock had struck Midnight. Joey watched from the top of the staircase in a dark blue robe, making sure to stay out of anyones line of sight. He eyed the Nutcracker being held close to the young cartoon's chest.
"Remember Tom, you take care of her." Joey had said as he began to hear small footsteps..
It was time.
In a nearby mousehole, out came a four foot ink creature wearing a black crown with a white crystal in it's center, a grey suit with a white bowtie and grey cape, black pants and black shoes and behind him swayed a black demon tail. This was The Ink King.
He grinned at the necklace shining.
"There it is my fellow ink beings, the black rose." The Ink King said.
Behind him were three ink humanoid creatures with glowing eyes.
"I-I-Is that w-what you w-w-wanted us to get sire?" One of them said.
"That's the one." The Ink King pointed forward in a commanding manner. "Now!"
The three creatures ran up to the large couch and began to climb, but due to their slippery inked hands, it caused them to slip many times..
"Ugh...I knew i should have done this alone.." He snarled as he walked up to the edge of the couch and used the magic he possessed and created a staircase of ink.
The Ink King carefully climbed onto the young cartoon and grabbed the pendent.
"Yes...All of my worries will be go-AHH!" He dropped the pendent as it began to burn his hands. "What in the..?" But he mentally smacked himself, Bad idea to touch the most magical part of the jewel.
He went around the girls neck and tried to use the clasp, but that too failed him. He grew tired of being tiny as well so he got off of the couch and grew to his normal eight feet height.
"Now that i'm looking at her..She is quite pretty." The Ink King said. "But that's not the main focus." He thought for a moment. "If i can't have the Necklace itself...I'll just take the girl wearing said jewel..."
"You will not touch her you demon!"
The Ink King looked up to the top of the couch and found The Nutcracker standing with his small sword pointed at the demon.
"You! I always wondered when i would run into you again." The Ink King said with sarcasam coating his voice.
"This fight is with only you and i, leave her out of this!" The Nutcracker said.
The Ink King grinned and drew his much larger weapon. "This will be a treat..."
They began to fence against eachother but The Ink King gasped in fright as one of his swings nearly cut the young cartoon.
"Don't you think you should make this a fair fight? Fight with someone your own size!" Thomas cried out.
"You know, you're actually right for once Thomas..." The Ink King once again shrunk down to his four foot height and continued the battle.
The small sounds of metal against metal was just enough to wake the sleeping Emily from her slumber. She spotted the two small figures fencing in front of the fire. "I have to be dreaming.."
She shut her eyes and tried to go back to sleep, but the sounds continued, she opened her eyes again and watched the tiny battle. She soon realized it was her Nutcracker who was fighting the other, She ran up and grabbed him and held him up to her.
"AH!" Thomas cried.
"What the..?!" The Ink King shouted but then realized it was the young girl. "Ohh its just you."
"Leave him alone strange Creature!" Emily cried.
"You know its not a good idea to pick on someone much larger then you little one." The Ink King then once again used his magic to shrink Emily down to at least two feet shorter then him.
"Wh-What?!" Emily panicked as she had dropped The Nutcracker in her shrinking process.
"That's much better and more fair isn't it?" The Ink King pinned her down.
"Let me go!"
"I'm afraid that won't be possible."
"Who even are you?!" She cried out.
The Ink King grinned. "Well, my name is Inky however my subjects call me The Ink King."
Emily's face became one of horror as the pieces clicked. "Y-You're The Ink King..?"
"Ah so you've heard of me little toon!"
Emily kicked him off of her and backed away.
"You shouldn't have done that Little Toon..." He snarled dangerously..
Thankfully Thomas poked his back end and caused Inky to jump in pain. Emily took the chance to run and hide.
"Lost Ones!"
The three Lost Ones came to his side. "Pin him down, I have to find that girl..."
The Lost Ones did as they were ordered and grabbed Thomas. "Get back here! This isn't over between us!"
"Oh but i believe it is...At least for the time being." Inky began to go and look for the young cartoon.
Emily had ran into her dollhouse Henry had gotten her for her birthday and hid in the small closet.
She heard the dollhouse door open and footsteps walk inside...
"Oh no.."
Inky grinned widely and called out. "Little Toon~ Come out, Come out wherever you are~"
Emily tried to keep calm...
"I won't hurt you. I only need that little necklace of yours~"
Emily covered her mouth.
"Will you come out hm? Or must we play Hide and Seek?"
She needed to stay quiet..
Inky continued to look throughout the dollhouse, and had now reached the bedroom. She had to be in here..
"Little Toon~"
He looked under the bed, behind the nightstands..
But the closet remained untouched..
Emily had backed up as far as she could until she was squeezing herself tightly against the back wall.
She saw his horns through the heart shaped holes at the top of the closet doors. But she had a panic attack as he slammed the doors open. "Found you!"
She gasped as Inky grabbed her and held her under his arm. She fought and kicked as best as she could to get out of his tight hold.
"Shhh..." He cooed. "Don't struggle Little Toon, it'll only make things worse for you."
She didn't like the sound of that. They reached the still pinned Nutcracker, his face became filled with terror as he saw she had been caught.
Emily had one last trick up her sleeve as she shoved her elbow into Inky's stomach, her defense was successful as he let her go due to the pain.
Emily took this chance to escape and ran to the Christmas tree that had now become a maze of wrapped presents. This might work out..
She ran in between the boxes to get away from the ink creature.
"Ugh...Lost Ones.. Release him." He groaned. The Lost Ones were confused but obeyed the order and released the Nutcracker, whom was ready to fight once more.
The Ink King used his Ink Magic to hold The Nutcracker to a nearby wall. "This is to assure that you don't get away." He looked to The Lost Ones. "Watch him now. I have to find the girl again."
And off he set into the gift maze.
Emily wandered around the presents curiously, Bendy would sure be happy the next morning. She knew that for a fact.
She saw the shadow of The Ink King and had no other option then to climb the christmas tree as best as she could.
Inky had noticed her bold move and began to follow after her. Emily had soon reached the top of the tree and looked down...her heart dropped to her stomach as she noticed the height...
"You know it'd be a true shame if you fell all the way down.. And with as small as you are, You'd most certainly have a...sad ending..."
She turned to see The Ink King advancing toward her and quickly..
"It's just you and me my dear...It's either me or the death fall." He snarled.
Emily was bound determined to protect herself.
"I'd rather die then go with you for any reason." She stated boldly.
The Ink King snarled loudly and grabbed her arm roughly, startling the younger one. Inky's heart skipped a beat as her black hair fell over her face. Her face filled with terror..It...It changed how he felt in that moment...
He slowly reached out and gently pushed her hair away from her face. Her eyes opened and she turned to him in shock..Why was he suddenly being gentle..?
Their eyes locked for a moment..His gentleness assured her fears of falling..His eyes showed kindness and love..and something else she couldn't quite make out..
Her mental sense returned quickly and she smacked his hand away.
"Ow! Alright you wanna play rough? We can play-" He was about to finish when he miss-stepped and he found himself plummeting all the way down. Thankfully The Lost Ones managed to catch him in time before he met his demise.
"Ugh! Oh i'll get you my little pretty! And that necklace of yours too!" He then realized what he just said. "Jeez..That was cliche!"
The Lost Ones carried him back through the mouse hole.
She climbed back down the tree and approached the now fallen Nutcracker.
"Are you okay?" She asked as she reached out her hand.
"Y-Yes, i'm fine." He said as he took her hand and stood up.
She was soon surrounded by other toys, and hugged by a strange looking doll.
"Hey lass! Ya did great out there!"
She turned and saw a ruined Alice Angel doll and a young brown haired man with brown eyes and brown hair.
"Aye, the names Shawn Flynn lass." He introduced.
"And i was Alice Angel, but that little demon brat ripped the stitches at my mouth so i just refer to myself as Susie."
Bendy's general figure walked up. "They call me Grant Cohen, i manage the army toys of said Demon."
"W-Wow..I never thought i'd be in this situation..."
"Neither did we." They all said.
The main focus of Thomas was to find the ink king it seemed.
"Well, we'd better go to find him, won't do you much good if you stay like this." He said.
"I'll go with ya!" Shawn claimed.
"Oh why not, i shall tag along as well." Susie said.
"I-I think i should stay behind." Emily said.
"I think you may wanna come too." Thomas said.
"Why..?"
"Because if The Ink King shrunk you, there aren't many other ways to return you to a normal size." Thomas said.
"Are you sure..?" She asked.
Sadly Thomas nodded. Emily sighed, no way out of this one.
"Alright...lets go."
And soon, Emily, Thomas and Susie were entering the mousehole and walked through the vast and dark tunnel.
Inky plopped himself onto his black throne and put a clawed hand to his head. "Ugh..." he groaned.
One of The Lost Ones came up to him with an ice pack, and another with a drink.
"That stupid girl! Her and all her little stupid toys!" He cried. "I could have gotten that necklace if she hadn't outsmarted me the way she had!"
A cartoon wolf carrying a satchel and silver blade came up. "Maybe if you had grabbed her instead of toy with her, you'd have her here.." He muttered.
"Will you just SHUT UP FOR ONCE?!" Inky cried out.
The Wolf whined and shrunk back.
"I can hear those little Mutters of yours, you know that don't you?" Inky asked with a snarl.
"S-Sorry sir.." He muttered.
Inky grinned and stood slowly from the throne. "Go prepare the telescope old dog. I need to find something."
The Wolf nodded and left into another room on the upper levels.
"S-Sir perhaps if you were a little k-kinder ma-maybe we wouldn't be s-so-"
The Ink King snarled dangerously at the speaking Lost One. "Do you wanna finish that sentence Peasant?" He said.
"N-No my king..."
"Good."
The wolf returned.
"Telescopes all set your highness." He said.
The Ink King nodded and went into the room with said telescope, he looked through it and watched as the young girl and her toys came out of the entrance tunnel.
"Ugh great...She followed me..." It was then he noticed the necklace still on her neck. "Oh ho ho ho, yes! Now i see it! That's right Little Toon, come right to me~" He said.
"This will be fun..."
