Chapter 28 ~ Detained
(Bonnie's Cont.)
The candles on the table began to flicker and so did the lights. As Bonnie began to Chant louder, the water in the bowls started to ripple and the candle flames jumped higher. All eyes were on Bonnie and after several minutes everyone's adjoining hands forcefully broke apart, stunning everyone for a moment, just then, the water stilled in the bowls and the candles returned to their softer flame. Bonnie opened her eyes and spoke in a calm voice...
"It's Done."
"That's it?" Caroline asked with a surprised look.
"Yes, we all have a protection spell and we can no longer touch each other. I need everyone to go to the living room now so I can put the Barrier Spell on Elena and I. After I will call you all back in for the Seal Spell."
John and Demetri walked back into the living room first with Caroline on their heels. Damon headed out but not before giving Elena one last look and lastly Stefan smiled at Elena and mouthed "I Love You" before joining everyone.
"Come stand near me Elena." Bonnie spoke sternly and Elena moved quickly by her side.
Bonnie flipped a few pages in the Grimorie and after looking down for a few minutes she instructed Elena to put her fingers in the bowl of water, Bonnie did the same as she closed her eyes and began to Chant again. The candle flames shot high instantly, dinning room lights flickered so fast they looked like a Disco light. Elena began to feel the water on her fingers heat up, just as the water got really hot, Elena opened her mouth to warn Bonnie and before she could speak, at once the dinning lights went to normal as well as the candles and Bonnie opened her eyes and removed her fingers while Elena instinctively removed hers at the same time.
Bonnie looked at Elena and smiled softly "Now nobody can come within five feet of us." she stated with assurance in her voice hoping to help Elena feel safer.
"So I take it we can get near each other?" Elena asked giggling. Seeing that Elena was obviously relieved...Bonnie giggled back and said "Obviously."
"Okay, can we come back now?" Damon sounded annoyed...obviously he heard they were done as the rest of the room did..but...they didn't want to be rude.
"Yes." Bonnie said while rolling her eyes and quickly added "Gather around the opposite end of the table please."
Damon and Stefan entered first taking opposite sides of the oval part of the end of the table leaving Caroline, John, and Demetri to the actual end of the table, before anyone was able to ask any questions Bonnie spoke quickly... "Remember to keep at least five feet from Elena and I." they all nodded and looked at Bonnie with impatience so she continued... "Everyone put your fingers in the bowls of water." as she spoke Stefan & Damon leaned carefully over the table to grab the bowls closer to Bonnie and Elena that they needed.
Bonnie looked again and saw everyone had complied and she studied her Grimoire page again for a minute or so and then closed her eyes and began to Chant for the third time that evening.
After several minutes, everyone's eyes went wide and Elena snickered knowing the water in the bowls was heating up... but...nobody said anything, Of coarse, they are Vampires...Elena thought...other than surprise the hot water didn't really phase them. Just then Bonnie opened her eyes and spoke...
"Okay we are all done. Elena and I will get pillows and blankets for the couches and my Dads room is free for whoever wants it and there is a guest room next to mine also. Elena and I will take my room. Everyone make yourself at home." Bonnie finished as she headed toward the hall closet with Elena following and everyone else backing away from them quickly.
Damon decided he wanted to be alone so he could text Elena without eyes on him and so he was the first to speak up. "I'll take the guest room." he said while smirking. Stefan rolled his eyes at him but waited before saying anything to see what the others would choose first.
Caroline grabbed Johns hand and pulled him toward the hall and then yelled back over her shoulder "We got Dads room!" her voice was squeaky, not able to hide her excitement.
"Good. I didn't want to sleep with John." Demetri stated while smiling at Stefan.
"Pick a couch." Stefan turned to Demetri noticing he was shorter than him and secretly hoping Demetri would pick the smaller one. Stefan let out a sigh of relief when he did...and to show his appreciation Stefan walked over to the pile of blankets and pillows Bonnie had just laid on the coffee table a minute ago and tossed a pillow and blanket at Demetri, then grabbing his own and laying down on the larger couch...sighing...knowing sleep would be difficult tonight.
Bonnie and Elena were shutting off the lights and yelled out "Goodnight" as they turned the last hall light off..everyone in the house yelled "Goodnight" at the same time except for Damon who yelled out shortly after "Goodnight John Boy." while snickering at his own joke about the Walton's.
As Elena was walking toward Bonnie's room, behind her, she paused to take a quick glance at Damon while passing the guest room that Damon was in...their eyes met and they both could feel the electricity between them, this time, not only from the cravings but from a whole new place...desire...knowing they wouldn't touch for twenty four hours just added a whole new longing to the already intense cravings. While Damon still had her eyes locked with his he quickly held up his cell phone nodding toward it, hoping she would get the hint to text him, and then she was gone so he turned out the lamp and hopped in the single bed and held his cell, on silent, in front of his face...waiting...
Elena and Bonnie were in her bathroom washing up and changing for bed. Bonnie handed Elena some night clothes but neither of them spoke...it was unusual for them but they both had too much on their mind. Elena quickly went to her purse and pulled out her cell charger...anxious to text Damon and not have her phone die. Feeling a bit guilty though she settled in bed and text-ed Stefan first...

Goodnight...don't worry...everything will be.. fine Love you
Stefan replied quickly

Elena then set her phone down on the nightstand and decided to wait for Bonnie to fall asleep first before she text-ed Damon. Bonnie said goodnight and quickly got into bed, shutting off the lamp light. Elena waited what seemed like forever and could hear Bonnie breathing deeply so she was pretty sure Bonnie was asleep. Elena quickly grabbed her phone, making sure it was on silent and also going into settings and turning off the vibration, knowing Vampires could hear...even humans heard cell phones vibrating she thought...then quickly got back to her task of texting Damon...

Take my mind off tomm?
Damon grinned as his phone lit up and seeing her text he swore he felt flutters in his stomach and he couldn't believe that Elena could make him feel like this with just a text...he hated it.. and at the same time..she made him feel the human inside of him that he had buried for so long and he secretly liked that. Damon replied quickly..

What would you like me to talk about?
Elena read the text and was trying to think of something and curiosity started stirring...

What is it like for you when you feed from me?
Damon read the text and tried to think of a way to describe it...

Heaven;) It's hard to describe the vampire aspect...we have such an excitement..a rush from the feed especially when we are going to kill! Feeding on someone you care about...well let's just say the Urge to kill is still there but a little easier to ignore
Elena read his text but rolled her eyes and replied...

Not the Logistics! How do YOU Feel when your feeding off ME specifically?
Damon smirked seeing her three question marks and understood her desperation to know his personal feelings...not too sure he wanted to share them but he figured...why not...

I feel a strong connection with you. I feel your emotions and because I care for you, my human side feels my emotions and I feel your arousal...my demon side takes pride in your arousal and the taste of your sweet blood. Your arousal also stirs something long suppressed in my human side ….a need to please...that momentarily takes over my selfish demon side
Elena reads his text and something stirs in her deep inside, also her core begins to ache and so does her longing to please him in return...human and demon side...both...she realizes Damon is being more open than ever so she decides to lay out every question that his answer has stirred just in case he closes back up to her...

Your human side cares for me...does your demon side?
In your room, when you pushed your leg in between mine..was that the human side needing to please me or your demon side?
Do you get aroused every time you feed from women? Me?
Damon sees her text is long and is almost afraid to read it after opening up so much in his last text but curiosity gets the best of him and he chuckles out loud at the last question thinking she must be so lost in the pleasure of the feeding to not FEEL that answer...he thinks smirking to himself proudly...he then takes the time to answer all the questions...

#1 My demon side isn't too much on the feelings but my demon does like you and the taste of your sweet blood.
#2 My demon side is very forceful and its desire to please would...lets just say take what it wants...so that was definitely my human sides desire to please.
#3 I actually chuckled at this question...aroused...did you not FEEL earlier tonight against the fridge? That was NOT my knee lol … and FEEL In my room that night? If we are feeding to kill there is no arousal. My human side both times was eager to please you and me...so was the demon side but I never allowed my demon side to take over in these moments and I think you know why!
Elena can't wait to hit the button and read his answers and as she does her core heats up like fire and aches again almost painfully and she knows she has got to quickly end this texting before it turns into sexting but her reply is automatic and without any planned thought

Hmmmmmmm I wish you would just let your Demon side take over! ;)
Damon reads her text and almost growls. His Demon side likes very much that she wants him...but his human side aches at the thought...knowing there is no way he could have her like that and Not make her his...it would break him..he knows he must end this texting...

O...K time to say goodnight before our cravings take control and the whole house hears me fly back and crash into the wall from trying to touch you with the Barrier spell

Elena reads his text and frowns and text right back

too bad... I was just going to describe what it's like for me when you feed off me...and me you;)
Damon reads the last text and almost growls again and quickly sets his cell phone down on the night table and begins to grind his teeth in frustration...his demon wanting out badly...
Elena waits and after five minutes and no reply she pouts and texts him one last time...

A/N well my last update was April 17th and it is May 15th so not too bad guys. Again I am not a big fan of writing the witchcraft so I kept is simple and basic as I could...again it is a necessary evil to move on lol. Anyways I really liked the Delena texting in chap 26 so I wanted to throw some more of that in this chapter...hope you liked it...i know it was a bit fluffy but mostly not;) Please review, I would love to hear some feedback and have some inspiration to continue helping me write more quickly...
