Chapter 29 ~ Dread
(Bonnie's Cont.)
The next morning Elena wakes and the house is eerily quiet. Realizing she is probably the first to wake, her mind drifts to what today's meeting with Elijah could truly mean. Will I have to time travel? Why is Katherine doing this for me? Is this a trap? Is any of what Katherine said even true? Ugh... Elena groans quietly and decides...thinking...is not the way to start the morning because her empty stomach starts to churn and nausea is creeping up on her, to distract herself she grabs her phone and frowns as she sees there are no new text messages. She decides to make herself feel better by texting Damon again.
She realizes this desire to text Damon seems to not be stemming from the blood share addiction but from a deeper need of an Intimacy craving and is unsure if this new intimacy craving stems from feelings for Damon or the fact they can't touch until 11:00pm tonight due to the protection spells.
Elena is sure however that she wants the blood share to happen again tonight somehow and so she decides to text him and tell him how she feels when he feeds from her, since that seemed
to bring a sudden stop to their texting last night, obviously Damon did not want to strengthen the craving and temptation with her description. Elena however was feeling like a temptress this morning,
decides to read the last texts from last night and pick it up where they left off.
After reading the text right before the goodnight that said:

From: Elena
too bad...I was just going to describe what it's like for me when you feed from me...and me you
After reading the text her thoughts drift to the feelings when Damon feeds on her and she starts a new text to Damon...
To: Damon
From: Elena
What is it like when you feed from me? Well first my heart begins to race in anticipation. Then I feel a heat and an ache that begins to build in my core and tends to all move upward to my belly and back again while we have any close contact and as you touch me in any way. As that happens I also tremble all over with excitement and when you growl that intensifies all these feelings at once and I feel a low growl myself and it's so primal. When you whisper anything in my ear the excitement builds stronger and I feel as if I will explode with so many physical feelings at once. When you start to touch or lick at my pulse point my whole body starts to tingle and my senses go on high alert. The first prick of your fangs hurts just a little but also then my body now fully expecting goes into hyper senses and the immediate lip suction and first pull of my blood that rushes literally sends me into a frenzy and I become like a Cat desperately needing a scratching post (boy what I would love to do... at this very moment hmm) As you continue that wonderful draw and release the Building and Climax is like NOTHING I have ever felt! It seems to increase each time and speaking of increasing...so is my desire to please you increasing (which I hope you will allow me to do).
When I feed from you... it is an overwhelming feeling of being loved and blanketed in protection. There is also a Calming...Peaceful feeling that is perfect to bring me down from the high of you feeding from me. So it is all pretty much Heaven as you also described it...
I know we won't be able to talk or text today and I don't know what today holds for any of us...but I would like to plan for us to meet up somewhere shortly after 11:00pm after these spells are all lifted. We could talk or whatever... Please reply Yay or Nay

Shortly after Elena sends the text Damon is waking in the room next to her and also grabs his phone to check his messages and eagerly reads Elena's text and then curses her under his breath, knowing that thanks to her he will do nothing but think of her description all day and not be able to get within five feet of her! Now feeling teased by the text a very frustrated Damon decides to not answer her text and make her sweat for awhile. After smirking to himself a minute he quickly grabs his shoes and heads out the door toward home to get blood because his hunger is in overdrive.
Meanwhile, Elena gets up and heads for the bathroom to get ready after waiting a few minutes and not getting a reply to the text.
Later as Elena enters the living room around 9:00 am the house is stirring and everyone is awake showering and dressing while Caroline is in the kitchen making breakfast. By the time Damon returns everyone is sitting kinda spaced apart from each other and eating breakfast. As Damon's eyes meet Elena's she nervously shoves a spoon full of eggs in her mouth and Stefan speaks first...
"Where were you Damon?"
"Relax brother, I was getting breakfast." Damon answers and just then Stefan notices he has a blue and white cooler in his hands and he nods at Damon and continues to eat.
"Hope you brought enough to share Damon!" Caroline yells out while giving Damon a dirty look.
"Of coarse I did Blondie...so chill." after hearing that John and Demetri nod at him and say Thanks.
Everyone goes quiet again and returns to the deep thought they were in before Damon's interruption.
Damon leaves the kitchen and sits on the large couch directly across form Elena, sipping on his tumbler of blood he notices the silence
"Well...don't everyone talk at once." he says sarcastically.
"We are just thinking about how all this will go down Damon." Bonnie states while looking around the room for reassurance from the others but nobody says a word or even stops eating.
Elena looks around to see if anyone is watching first than waits for Damon to look up at her, she then holds her phone up nodding towards it, hoping Damon will get the hint to answer her text question from this morning. Damon just nods and gives her a small smile which Elena thinks is a smirk and angrily gets up to take her plate to the kitchen and Stefan follows lagging behind but she does not notice him. Elena turns around from the sink and is startled by Stefan and he notices that shes jumpy and asks...
"Are you okay Elena?"
"Yes, just worried about today is all." Elena says with a small frown and Stefan tries to reassure her...
"Everything will be okay, you will see." Stefan starts to walk closer and stops when Elena jumps back some and immediately remembers the spell and starts laughing and Elena giggles some as well
"Oops I almost forgot!" he adds and smiles at Elena while turning away and quickly heads back to the living room. Bonnie starts to say something to Stefan but just then his Phone rings! Stefan answers it quickly seeing Katherine's name on the screen...
"Katherine!" he says loudly and the whole room stills.
"Elijah has agreed to meet us all, he wants us to meet at the Cemetery and follow him to a location in the woods that is not known to Klaus and to be sure we are not followed." Katherine states her voice sounding worried.
"Who is..Us all?" Stefan asked her.
"I told Elijah that you, Caroline, and Bonnie were coming and maybe Damon and Elena." Katherine now sounding annoyed already. Stefan decided to hold off on mentioning John and Demetri until he had a chance to talk it over with everyone.
"Damon and Elena are coming. What time Katherine?"
"We meet at 1:00 pm sharp. Should I tell Elijah you will be there?" Katherine sounded a little off and Stefan was suspicious so he quickly said
"Call me back in five." then hung up on her not wanting Katherine to have a chance to say another word because his suspicions were making him angry toward her. Stefan then filled everyone in and they all agreed to still go. They felt they had to know and if Elena was at any risk at all then they were willing to risk this meeting to know. Damon however, who was being very quiet, then spoke up...
"I am still concerned this may be a trap. Especially wanting us to follow them to the woods. Do they know about John and Demetri at all?" Damon asked with a bit of excitement in his eyes.
"No and I don't plan on telling Katherine at all." Stefan stated.
"Yes. That's good. John and Demetri can follow us lagging behind...a secret surprise in case this is a trap." Damon added.
Everyone nodded in agreement and started talking and going over different scenarios in case this was a trap and their were more ideas than people but Elena sat back soaking everything in and saying nothing. Stefan's phone rang again and before Katherine said a word...Stefan quickly told her...
"Yes. Tell Elijah we will be there and this better not be a trap!" Shouting by the end of the sentence the room again stilled and Katherine replied
"It's Not Stefan...I promise." although Katherine spoke with a stern voice it still did little to reassure Stefan and he replied in an angry tone
"See ya at 1:00 pm at the Cemetery." He ended the call abruptly again still angry and still worried that he could not trust Katherine!
Everyone went back to discussing scenarios and soon it was 12:40 pm and not wanting to be late they loaded up:
Bonnie and Elena rode together in Bonnie's car since they had the five feet barrier spell, Stefan and Damon insisted on driving in front of them in case of a trap, in Damon's car. Caroline followed third alone in her own car and John and Demetri last in John's car.
Everyone was on edge as they all began to pull into the Cemetery, John and Demetri
stayed behind on the access road next to the Cemetery and rolled their windows down to listen intently. There was nobody else there yet when they all arrived so the other three vehicles pulled up next to each other in a line not caring if they drove on the graves to do so.
They all wanted to be able to see, nobody spoke they just all looked around nervously and after five minutes or so a Black S.U.V. with dark tinted windows pulled into the Cemetery from a side entrance and stopped about twenty feet in front of them on a small dirt pathway off the main paved road.
Three people got out of the Black S.U.V. and started walking toward their cars, as they got closer, it was a man and two women, Katherine being one of the two. They assumed the man was of coarse Elijah but the other woman hate a hateful look on her face and made everyone feel uneasy. Damon and Stefan got out first and Damon held up a hand to signal everyone to stay in their vehicles.
The man, whom they assume is Elijah then signals Katherine and the unknown women to stay back, as he gets close enough to see into the cars he looks at Bonnie's car and his eyes widen for a moment as he sees Elena, he quickly turns his attention back to Stefan and Damon and reaches his hand out to them to shake and Stefan and Damon flinch and step back and Stefan speaks first...
"We have a protection spell and you can't touch us."
The man raises his eyebrows and gives them a small smile, Damon gives Stefan a dirty look, not believing he just gave away major info in a whole two seconds and then looks the man in the eye and says...
"What Stefan means is we are not here for Crumpets and Tea, we are here to see if Vampire Slut is telling the truth." he says while nodding his head toward Katherine behind him. Meanwhile Katherine rolls her eyes and kicks the dirt and the mans eyes widen a bit and he struggles to keep a smile off his face and then finally speaks in a Calm and Collected manner...
"I'm Elijah. Katherine is telling the truth and I'm pleased you are taking this serious because Klaus is powerful, connected, and most of all determined to break this curse."
A/N Last update was May 15th and it is August 7th so that is not too bad. It has been a busy Summer. I am so close in this story to Time Travel and it would be so great if I could get more Reviews and really encourage me. I know it's Summer and school is around the corner...busy busy busy...drop a line if you can and thanks to all who have reviewed. This chapter had a bit of a slow flow and I'm hoping to pick up the pace in the next few.
