Aku's palace
It's a dark and desolate place as it houses the immortal demon sorcerer Aku the shape shifting master of darkness he prefers himself to be called and conqueror of the Universe along with the planet Earth. Right now he grew angry in which his forces have failed again to kill the Samurai known as Jack, who he himself drove him into a portal of time from the past to the future. However he is starting to regret that mistake, in time he is confident he will finally rid of his hated enemy and is groaning in frustration in what to do.
"Do not blame others for your own short comings Missser Aku," said the G-man
"What," shouted Aku "Oh it's you, what do you want now,"
"Oh come now Missster Aku," said G-man "Do not be surprised to see me, considering my employers brought forth your very creation,"
"You don't need to remind me of anything," said Aku "Your employers will be well compensated when I decide to do so, as my rule is infinite,"
"Being short sighted is or will be your downfall Misster Aku," said G-man "As you know I see many futures, and well….."
"Enough," said Aku "The future is Aku, being of dealers remember that unless….."
"Seeing the big picture," said G-man "Is not so forthcoming, as you realize with the defeat after defeat of your forces, the future is slowly changing,"
"Meaning," said Aku
"Meaning your future will come to an end, it may happen sooner or later," said G-man with a smile "Only I know for sure,"
"Damn you and your employers," said Aku "I will abide by the terms of the contract, only when I am done my task in getting rid of the Samurai,"
"Time is growing short Misster Aku," said G-man "Let's just say my employers do get impatient from time to time, but I will convince them otherwise,"
"I have heard rumblings of a one-free-man," said Aku "Perhaps we can make a bet of some sort,"
"Missster Freeman's coming and goings is irrelevant in your matters," said G-man "And what this little bet of yours you wager on,"
"My Samurai jack verses you're One-Free-man," said Aku with a smile "Interested with the terms of the contract on the line if Jack wins as he will,"
"Ah, but if Jack loses," said G-man "Then the contract is extended and he'll be sent to the past to battle you," he smiles "Which your rule will not matter in the future."
"Then if this one-free-man loses," said Aku "The contract is null and void, along with that his soul as well will be mine," he laughed
"Very well we have a deal," said G-man
"Indeed as I will spread rumors about a new enforcer gunning for Jack," said Aku "Called the One-free-man, in fact I believe he is here even now"
A bar: Location unknown
It is raining outside as thunder crashed in the night as people are going about their business in dancing or making fools of themselves or other matters of interest, then all of a sudden the doors swing open and all of them spot the most wanted man on the planet a man named Jack, who is very dangerous. He is dressed in which and black hair, with sandals and his sword is strapped to his side and he doesn't look too happy as he is wearing a hat upon his head.
He walks slowly with confidence to the bar as people know his reputation and stay out of his way, then ordering some water as the barkeeper pours it and hands it to him as Jack takes it and walks to a table to sit nearby it in silence as he is thinking about Aku, in which once again the monsters forces failed to stop him and his quest will continue, it's a burden he must endure and one day he will defeat Aku, he has nothing left to lose.
"Hey did you hear," said one of the other patrons who is talking to his friend "Aku's got a powerful enforcer gunning for Jack, calls himself the One-free-man,"
"Really wow, I never heard of him," said the patron's friend "Boy hope Jack comes out on top,"
Jack growled quietly in annoyance, new enforcer and working for Aku gunning for him, he sipped down his glass of water with one gulf as his expression turned serious and then paid the tab as he walked out of the bar to find this one-free-man and defeat him like so many others Aku has put him up against, nothing is going to stop him as his quest will continue like always.
Los Angeles wastelands
When Aku flung jack into the far future, he waited for a bit for humanity to build a civilization advanced enough to conquer it into a modern society so he can conquer it in which he did. That day was known as the day of hell according to the old news reports from news papers as Aku along with his army conquered all the lands of Earth under a day it was so overwhelming that the remaining Earth forces surrendered and made Aku their lord and master under his dominion and his rule only.
The cities were left to rot as Aku enslaved the people who survived and this city in particular was a front line battle in the far past was left to rot, it is a regular wasteland and the Hollywood sign is still standing or what is left of it and the city itself is in ruins. A portal opened up as Gordon Freeman stepped out of the portal as it closed behind him and does a dimensional scan for any Combine activity; however his suit picked up nothing as he began to walk and recognized this place as Los Angeles the city of angels.
Not much left as the wind starts to blow and an old newspaper flies right at his face as Gordon takes it off and sees it's the last headlines Earth surrenders to Aku, he is lord and master now. It shows a picture of a creepy looking person is Aku, so this dimension is controlled by a creep known as Aku, perhaps Gordon will find this Aku and take him out, but where to find him is the question as he could be anywhere.
He found an old vehicle a monster truck of some sorts that has some gas and he turned it on as it does work, so he is driving away from Los Angeles in which he will begin this search for this Aku creature, whatever it is. The further away he got from LA it seems to be a vast wasteland of nothing but destroyed stuff or junk and by his calculations he will soon reach Nevada like either Reno or Las Vegas maybe those places are in ruins as well.
An old highway leads out of California in which he could tell this is summer time and several obstacles are in the way like damaged or destroyed vehicles that have been like that for a long time, he sees a sign reads welcome to Nevada Las Vegas 12 miles and that is where he will go, until this vehicle runs out of gas.
Meanwhile Jack is slowly walking keeping an eye out for anything, however there is noting at the moment and knows an attack can happen at any time as Aku is always watching him, he sees an old sign that reads Nevada Las Vegas 12 miles as far as he knows it's an old city from the time when Aku conquered Earth and then walking upon the Hoover dam as his journey continues like always.
