Joining forces

Las Vegas ruins

Jack the samurai and Gordon Freeman see before them an army of robots sent by Aku the creep Gordon had seen in a photo of an old newspaper as the both of them nodded and went on to attack these robot spiders as Jack sliced through them with his magic sword that can hurt even the mighty Aku. Gordon used his omni-blade to slice through several of them as they fire their lasers at Gordon however their lasers bounced off of his shields and are sent right back at the spiders as they exploded into pieces.

The Las Vegas ruins have become a war zone once again and there are no innocents are around as the local population was either killed or taken away by the Aku himself a long time ago, Gordon had been to many Las Vegas's before in other dimensions as some of them are highly advanced, state of decay, ruined or completely weird. Even Las Vegas in his dimension was reduced to nothing more than a pile of rubble by the Combine.

Jack and Gordon watched each others backs as the robot spiders kept on coming, but their numbers are slowly dwindling and are relentless to do their masters bidding as Gordon used his gravity gun to fire at the robot spiders in which they were sent flying into several building as they exploded into pieces along with a black goop as well, Jack sliced through these robots of Aku in which he is roaring and yelling in a way of not stopping at all.

Piles and piles of robotic parts started to pile up as the damage to the buildings was extensive as some of them had fallen down in which there is a moments pause in the battle as Jack knows there will be more robots coming like always. Even the once proud casinos are damaged, despite being ruined and still standing they could fall down at any time. Gordon used his suits scanner to detect for any more of those robots and detected more coming as it is like a sea of blackness descending upon the ruins of Las Vegas.

He showed the holographic image to Jack as he nodded in understanding as there will always be more of these robot minions of Aku, he can fight on and on as can Gordon, but the one-free-man has an idea. So he activated his suit to bring forth a weapon that would finish the job as it is a big cannon weapon known as a BMF thunderstrike as he used the targeting system to target the black swarm of robots.

"Brace yourself," said Gordon

Jack nodded as Gordon powered up the weapon and it then fired as a ball of energy is sent right at the black swarm of robots and then it slammed right at them in which a powerful explosion obliterated the black swarm of robots along with the western half of Las Vegas as it is raining with debris, along with parts of those robots as well. When the smoke and everything else, nothing was left but a large crater on the ground, this city was ruined anyway and it doesn't matter if it is ruined even now.

"Impressive," said Jack "But isn't that a little overkill,"

"Well I've gone against impossible odds before," said Gordon "So overkill is an understatement,"

"Indeed," nodded Jack "I take it there is a story with you,"

"Of course and a story with you also," said Gordon

"Perhaps it would be best to discuss it somewhere else," said Jack

"I know a place," said Gordon "It's in the desert and not too far from here,"

"Very well let's go," said Jack

Ruins of Area-51

This place still stands despite being ruined as Jack had never been to this place as Gordon has been to it before considering in his dimension they don't call it Area-51 by the supermarket papers, no they called it Black Mesa as it was before all the craziness happened. One of the hangers is still standing and there is a advanced plane still inside that looks like an SR-71 and there is a entrance to the rest of the facility.

Gordon found some military rations not in use anymore and a camp fire had been set up for the both of them. Gordon couldn't find any signs of life as the military must have abandoned this place after Aku invaded the modern age and so he came upon the camp fire as he found a few chairs as well and sat on one of them. Jack is staring at the fire and thinking about getting back to the past to finally take down Aku, before his reign and his word is supreme in this time.

"I like to know more about you," said Jack

"Ok, but this is a long one," said Gordon

He started explain about himself as he is or was a native of Seattle, Washington life in which he always had it's ups and downs since he got a job to join Black Mesa research facility, as he told them he was an orphan with no parents in which the only thing that people found on him at when he was found on the door step of an orphanage is his name and nothing more.

Gordon explained that he was already regarded as the quiet type and willing to adapt to any situation until he was in his teens as the orphanage at first put money away for him to go to college considering how smart Gordon is who is willing to learn and grow upon in life.

His childhood heroes were Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, and Richard Feynman because books were his friends in which that is all he had. He told them about an exhibited an early interest in theoretical physics, especially quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity. After observing a series of teleportation experiments conducted by the Institute for Experimental Physics at the University of Innsbruck, the transmission of matter became Gordon's obsession.

He told them he had no known dependents. As he explained he graduated from MIT with a Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics. His doctoral thesis on the teleportation of matter through extremely dense elements was titled Observation of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Entanglement on Supraquantum Structures by Induction through Nonlinear Transuranic Crystal of Extremely Long Wavelength (ELW) Pulse from Mode-Locked Source Array.

He told them he took up residence in Black Mesa however his job in general in regards was nothing more than a joke like manual labor, despite his qualifications. Consisting of little more than pressing a button and pushing a cart as he found that to be a little embarrassing at times, but it paid well and Gordon often wondered if he would be doing this utter nonsense for the rest of his life. At time he spent in Black Mesa he only said a few words and kept his mouth shut most of the time, he considered himself a little anti-social being an orphan and all.

An inter-dimensional rift in space time happened and his world changed forever, as he told them in detail in which he became something he would never thought in becoming. A hero, he never dreamed he was one. In which he explained he survived all the challenges and got the respect of a few people for his acts of bravery. Then he wound up in another dimension called Xen and doing battle against an alien warlord named Nihilanth

He told them to never mind about the name, as he told them he killed the alien warlord and then he was confront by a being he despises the most, the G-man. The people noticed in the room how angry he got with that name. He was given a choice to live or die in a form of a deal. Gordon did not want to do either, then all of sudden the choice was made but not by him. No it was the G-man himself. Gordon explained in detain It wasn't until two decades later he had learned the G-man put him in a place far from time, space, thought and even Earth itself.

The G-man stated the right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world it wouldn't be an understatement it is a fact as Gordon found himself in the middle of the occupation by an inter-dimensional alien empire known as the Combine. They in fact conquered the Earth in seven hours thanks in part to a traitor named Dr. Wallace Breen, that name alone made his blood boil. Then he went to explain uprisings, creatures and other things as well in which began as Gordon helped in many ways often doing battle against combine forces until finally driven out of his dimension.

Then finally he explained after the death of a friend of his, his other friends went off to the artic in finding a ship owned by Black Mesa had survived and after discovering technology like the Hazardous Environmental Suit that was on board the Borealis Finally told them he went on several adventures in other dimensions.

"My word," said Jack "You are like me,"

"Almost," said Gordon

Jack went on to explain himself as he was a child to an emperor and empress in the past as his father in his youth did battle against the creature known as Aku as it was many years until Aku was free from being imprisoned and attacked his home land. Jack was sent away to train to be the best warrior ever, once all his training was complete he came back to his homeland to find it in ruins and the monster known as Aku seized control.

He did battle against Aku by using the magic sword that can hurt him, before the final blow was struck he was propelled backwards into a portal and found himself in this time, the far future and the people here kept calling him Jack, so he decided to name himself Jack, He doesn't know his real name and then he discovered that Aku rules the future, he didn't know when he ruled it.

Jack faced against countless robots, assassins and minions of Aku that ended in their failed defeat as he even faced off again Aku more than once and that monster used trickery to evade him. Jack told him the only way to defeat Aku is by going back to the past and defeat him before his rule becomes eternal. He needed a time device of some sort and has had a few opportunities to go back to the past, but ended up being disappointed by them. Jack groaned in frustration.

"I don't think Aku ruled the distant past," said Gordon "As I believe that creep waited and took his time to the point humanity was modern enough to conquer them, besides you might of done more damage to him with your sword,"

"That maybe true," said Jack "But he still rules here,"

According to this newspaper article I found," said Gordon "Aku conquered the Earth in December 21, 2012. Considering the Myans predicted the end of the world on that date…..so if you go a day before. You can stop him for good,"

"Still remains as time travel is involved," said Jack "I need something to go back in the past,"

"I may have a solution," said Gordon "Because I know where a time machine is,"

"You do," said Jack "Where,"

"If this dimension is like almost all the others," said Gordon "We will find it stored in London, England,"

"London England," said Jack "Very well….let's go and thanks,"
