Sesame Street Blues

Sesame Street USA
A portal opened up in the middle of a street in USA as Gordon Freeman stepped out of the portal as it closed behind him as if it was never there and he looked around at his surroundings at the moment in which he sees a broken sign on the ground that reads Sesame Street. Sesame Street, he never heard of a place like that before and the whole area looked like it had been in a war zone. Has the combine been here already, if that is the case there is nothing he can do and it is already to late for him to do anything at all.
Gordon walked this Sesame Street as it looked like it had been in urban warfare; he came upon a body of an 8 ft tall yellow bird with several holes in its chest. His suit scanned for weapons fire as one of them is Combine and the other is of unknown origin. If he had to figure it was between the Combine and another force, good or evil he did not know. Pressing on he found a body of a weird looking creature that is in a garbage can and indicated several weapons fire had shot into the garbage can.
The creatures he have seen dead, he has never seen before and found some humans laying dead as well. He smelled something burning as he sees what appears to be human like are strapped to a pole and fire is under their feet, they look very much dead and holding hands, one has yellow skin and the other has orange skin.
AN: You can guess who I am describing.
Moving on he found a headless blue creature and chewed up cookies all around, what remains of his head is littered all over the ground. Gordon kept on walking as he found a vampire like creature with a sword into his chest and burned as well. Whatever happened here, looks like everyone got caught in the cross fire. Continuing onward he came upon a tree of as a noose is around the neck of another dark blue creature as it is wearing one of those old knight helmets and a cape, as it has a hole in its chest.
Gordon kept on walking around as he found a creature that it had been sliced to pieces. It looked like a woolly mammoth, without tusks or ears, and has a long thick pointed tail, similar in shape to that of a dinosaur or other reptile. He has long thick brown hair and a trunk; the one-free-man shook his head as it looked weird and moved on this place called Sesame Street.
Freeman's log
This is Dr. Gordon Freeman on continuing my odyssey as I came upon this small dimension called Sesame Street it would appear it was caught in the crossfire between the combine and a unknown force, friend or foe I can't even say as it would seem all the people and creatures here are dead.
BANG
The sound of gunfire ended his log as it is had come from up ahead as Gordon Freeman jogged there to fire a man or what appears to be a man in a Nazi like uniform is dead with a hole in his chest and a red creature standing over him as it is trembling at what it had done, along with holding a weapon.
"What happened here?" asked Gordon
"No, you won't come for me," said the creature "Please leave me alone, they k-k-k-killed my friend….get away from me,"
"I am not here to harm you," said Gordon "I want to know what happened, who are you?"
"You won't get Elmo," said Elmo "Stay back,"
Elmo fired the energy weapon at Gordon as his shields held up and got closer to the creature known as Elmo, trembling in fear Elmo pointed his weapon towards his head and pulled the trigger as the energy shot tore his head apart, leaving his headless body upon the ground.
"Damn that is unfortunate," said Gordon
Looking down at the uniformed human or what appears to be human as it doesn't seem to be even human at all. Could this be a creation of the Combine or something else like a friend or foe! Well anyway he suspect it could be a foe as this Sesame Street was in a war zone and everyone lost, which there is nothing left and nothing he can do at all.
Then he suits scanner picked up portal technology, along with four life forms as they are human and coming from the west side of Sesame Street, Gordon decides to go investigate.
West side of Sesame Street
A portal had opened up as three men and a woman step on out in which the leader of the four holds out some sort of device as it shows some time table in getting out to portal elsewhere. Looking around it looked like it had been in a war zone.
"What do you think happened here?" asked the woman "And where are we?"
"Looks like this didn't happen to long ago," said the bearded man "The sign says Sesame Street,"
"Sesame Street," said the black male "You mean like that kids show,"
"Yeah just like the kids show," said the other male "Come on, we better look around,"
"Wait someone is coming," said the woman
They see someone walking towards them as he is wearing glasses with short hair, a goatee and some sort of armor with a symbol on it, he looked tough and some sort of scientist as well.
"It would seem I am not the only one using portal technology," said Gordon
"We call it sliding," said the leader
"Do you know what happened here," asked the bearded man
"Two opposing forces One Combine, the other some weird looking guys in Nazi uniform," said Gordon "Had a fire fight here, people and creatures got caught in the crossfire,"
"So Elmo, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie are dead," said the woman
"Well the Elmo kid committed suicide," said Gordon "When I tried to talk to him, but the others are dead yes, do you know them."
"Sesame Street is a kids show for kids," said the black male
"It is," said Gordon "Not that I would know, I can show you the body of the guy in the Nazi uniform,"
"Show us," said the leader
Gordon motioned for them to follow him until they came upon the body as the four looked surprised in which they know what it is and the woman is sad to see Elmo dead on the ground.
"You four know what it is," asked Gordon
"It is a Kromagg and they're bad news," said the leader
"Never heard of them," said Gordon "Bad news right, guess you never heard of the Combine,"
All four of them shook their heads.
"Who are you people?" asked Gordon
"Names Quinn Mallory, this is Wade Welles, Rembrandt Brown, Professor Arturo," said Mallory "And were sliders, what about you,"
"Dr. Gordon Freeman," said Gordon "I take it the both of us have long stories,"
"It would seem so," said Mallory
