Ahsoka wanted to be sick.

The air around her was thick with many smells. Smoke, scorch marks, various other chemicals…

And blood. The smell of blood was as prominent as the sense of death through the Force.

The Temple was eerily silent now. Gone was the endless conflict, the sound of blasters and lightsabers, of screaming and crying, all gone. Instead replaced by little sound at all.

The halls of the Jedi Temple, once full of life, were now nothing more than a literal graveyard.

Bodies lay strewn on the ground, both Clone and Jedi, contorted and twisted, burnt and broken.

This was not supposed to happen. She had been trying to save people, not get them all killed!

Her eyes surveyed the now empty central atrium of the Jedi Temple once again. The Clones that hadn't been killed patrolled and moved bodies around, securing the area from any surviving threats. The few Jedi that had surrendered had been moved to a location that hadn't been disclosed to her as of yet. She had to find out where they were as soon as she could.

Across the atrium, Ahsoka spotted a trio of Clones shifting bodies. The sight of them dumping the bodies into a large central pile without any respect made her feel even more sick. How could they treat the dead like that? Their own brothers!?

She couldn't watch it anymore. She had to leave.

Turning on her heel, Ahsoka began to move towards a nearby corridor, not entirely sure of her destination as of yet.

She tried not to pay attention to the sight of numerous dead Jedi as she moved into a partially collapsed hallway. There was nothing she could do for them anymore.

Ahsoka walked, and walked. Endless lines of bodies, of rubble, passed her by.

She wanted to stop and help, but there was nothing she could do.

Had she caused this? Was this her fault?

And where was Anakin? Was he even alive?

She continued to move forward, endless thoughts running through her mind, giving her a headache.

How did this happen? Why did the Chancellor approve this!?

'Because he's a Sith Lord you idiot! What did you expect?'

Ahsoka very nearly responded to herself before she felt her feet nudge into something in her path.

Blinking twice, Ahsoka glanced down at what was in her way, and her heart broke.

A youngling… no older than five years old, covered in blaster marks.

Grief, anger, rage, despair. All flooded Ahsoka.

She wanted to find the Clones that had done this! She wanted to make them pay! How dare they kill a kriffing child!

She couldn't face it! She broke into a sprint, leaving the youngling's body behind.

Her feet took her down numerous hallways, no clear direction in mind. She simply followed her feet until she found herself in the Jedi Archives of all places.

Or what was left of the Archives anyway.

The room was much the same as the rest of the Temple. In ruins.

Many of the towering bookcases that once bathed the Library in fluorescent blue light were either heavily damaged, or outright destroyed. Clearly, someone had thought that destroying everything within the archive to prevent the Clones from getting their hands on the information was important.

'No… to stop Palpatine from getting the information.'

Ahsoka's thoughts were interrupted when she saw a figure emerge from near one of the heavily damaged bookshelves, carrying a small collection of what appeared to be data-tapes and holopads of information in his hands.

"Bil?" Ahsoka spoke as she approached.

The grey skinned alien looked up as she approached and threw her a smile.

"Hey, glad you made it. Hell of a day huh?"

That was an understatement if Ahsoka had ever heard one. How was he so calm about everything that had happened?

She didn't question him about it. She didn't know how. Instead, she turned her attention to the items in his hand as he deposited them on a nearby table.

"What are you doing with those?"

"Filing. Most of the records have been damaged, but a few remain. Our Temple Guard buddy ordered me to sort through what's of use and what's not." Bil spoke as he began to sort through the items, throwing two heavily cracked data tapes and one holopad onto a pile at the far end of the table. Ahsoka assumed that was the discard pile.

"How much is salvageable?"

"Not much of it, and the stuff that is doesn't seem to be very important in the grand scheme of things. Just character profiles of random people." Bil replied as he brought another of the holopads up and began to read. "Any idea who Lana Beniko and Theron Shan are?"

"Um… no." Ahsoka replied.

"Yeah… me neither. Clearly not very important then." Bil replied as he threw the holopad onto the discard pile with reckless abandon. As the pad landed, it sparked and cracked, rendering it useless.

"I guess not." Ahsoka replied softly to herself as she glanced around once again, surveying the damage with despair.

This was all her fault.

The Force suddenly sang a warning to her, and a deep chill ran across her spine briefly, drawing both her and Bil's attention to the doorway.

Commander Fox entered, several other Clones behind him, each moving to take position around the room in time for…

Palpatine… and Anakin.

Ahsoka watched as Anakin moved alongside the Chancellor… no, the Sith Lord, towards her.

She wanted to scream and shout at them both. This wasn't how things were supposed to go.

But she didn't. She knew it wouldn't end well…for anyone.

For now, she had to keep her cool as best as she could, as much as she hated it.

The two figures strode across the room, paying little attention to anything before they stood before Ahsoka.

Ahsoka was struck by the silence that followed. She had expected one of them to say something, She had expected a reprimand.

She had fully expected to be attacked.

But instead, Palpatine seemed to survey her, his eyes sharp and harsh, devoid of the grandfatherly look they once possessed.

He wasn't hiding from her anymore. She knew what he was, and he was more than happy to let her know.

Ahsoka risked a glance over at Anakin, but found his face oddly neutral as well. That concerned her far more than the Sith Lord standing before them. Anakin had always had trouble hiding his true emotions on his face. Now however, it seemed as if he had perfected it.

"How do you rate the success of your operation, Agent Tano?" Palpatine's harsh voice drew her back to the Chancell… to the Lord of the Sith. His tone was judgemental, as if he was trying to trip her up.

"A failure, Your Excellency." Ahsoka replied, refusing to refer to him with a 'My Lord'.

Palpatine considered her words for a few moments before he nodded his head.

"I agree."

A younger version of herself would have shrunk under the comment. But she wasn't young anymore, and she wouldn't give him the satisfaction of seeing her despair.

"You were tasked with the simple objective of securing the Jedi Temple and eliminating any and all resistance, were you not?"

"I was, but I was also tasked with saving those that I could if they were willing." Ahsoka replied to the Chancellor's comment.

"No, Agent Tano." Palpatine replied, taking a step forward so that he was right in her face. It reminded her of a Clone drill instructor discipling a shiny. She had seen Rex do such a thing before. Kriff, Cody had once done it to her. "No, you took that objective upon yourself. I ordered no such thing. Whilst I commend you for your ingenuity, your actions have also cost us dearly today."

"I don't understand?" Ahsoka replied. What did the Chancellor mean?

Palpatine took a step back, before turning and moving away several steps, his eyes surveying the ruins of the Jedi Archives around him.

"You attempted to negotiate with the Jedi, and you failed. This alerted our enemies to our intentions and gave many Jedi a chance to escape, including the renegade Sith Lord Maul! Had you not wasted time on such a trivial attempt, this operation would have gone a lot smoother."

"Exterminating the Jedi was never a viable option. This whole thing was wrong. It shouldn't have happened!" Ahsoka replied, allowing her outburst despite her better judgment telling her it was a mistake.

Palpatine could kill her, or Anakin, with a single flick of his wrist.

"Have you forgotten, Agent Tano, that the Jedi Council deemed you a traitor on two seperate occasions! Mace Windu attempted to execute you. Had it not been for mine and your Master's inference, you would be dead!"

"Perhaps I should have let him kill me then! I wouldn't have to be complicit in this disaster then!" Ahsoka yelled, gesturing to the destruction around her.

Ahsoka didn't miss the way Anakin flinched at her words, nor did she miss the sudden flash of gold in Palpatine's eyes.

"Careful there Tano. That outcome is still very much a possibility." The Sith Lord spoke as he turned to face her once again, gesturing threateningly with one of his hands towards her.

She refused to show fear. He wouldn't intimidate her.

"You're a monster."

"Yes my dear, yes I am. Luckily for you, I am feeling merciful today. Whilst your actions might have caused a less successful operation than I had intended, they have left us with an advantage. Your attempted negotiation with the Jedi puts the blame for the outbreak of violence squarely on their shoulders. We attempted a peaceful transition of power, and they refused. To the Senate, the Jedi attacked first, just as they attempted to assassinate its Chancellor."

Ahsoka felt anger building inside of her. She knew what he was saying was true. To everyone else, it would look like the Jedi attacked first, not Palpatine. They would go down in history as the aggressors, as the villains, and Palpatine would use this to justify the disaster within the Temple.

And she had caused all of this! This had been her fault! She had been the one who had attempted to negotiate, to save everyone.

And now Darth Sidious was going to use her attempt to do good to do the exact opposite.

Something in Ahsoka snapped. She reached for her saber and ignited the golden blade, a scream of rage leaving her throat as she charged towards Sidious.

She barely made it two steps before a barrage of Force lightning crashed into her, sending her sprawling to the floor.

"Insolent child!" Sidious spat after a few seconds of punishment. "Be thankful your Master has convinced me to spare you. I had fully intended to execute you for your failure to peacefully secure the Temple. As it stands, I have another task, one that might offer you a chance at redemption. But this time however, we shall be doing things my way!"

Ahsoka struggled to push herself up from her prone position, her skin itching beneath her armour from the lighting attack. "I'm not helping you."

"Oh you will, my dear, or else…" Palpatine responded as he held out another hand, this time in the form of a claw. Behind her, Ahsoka heard Bil gasp out for breath suddenly.

Forcing herself to her feet, Ahsoka turned to see Bil Valen, suspended in the air, his hands clawing at his neck, desperate for breath.

"Refuse, and all that you did save will die. Complete this task however, and I will spare them, for now."

Panic flooded Ahsoka! This was wrong! How had things gotten this bad!

She couldn't work for Palpatine, not after what he had done, what he was planning to do.

But if she didn't agree… Bil would die, as would Masana, the Temple Guard, all of those she had worked so hard to try and save.

And Anakin… what would Sidious do with him?!

She hated this! She hated herself! She had let herself be tricked into this position!

But she couldn't let Bil, let any of them die… not like this!

"Fine! Fine! I'll do it!" Ahsoka yelled, on the verge of tears. She didn't trust Palpatine to keep his word, but if there was an off chance…

Within a second of Ahsoka agreeing, Sidious dropped his hand, and Bil fell to the floor with a crash.

"Leave us." Palpatine spoke harshly to the grey skinned humanoid, whose body was wracked with harsh coughs as he began to scuttle towards the exit.

With Bil gone, Palpatine refocused on Ahsoka.

"Make no mistake. That was the last time I ever keep my word for you, unless you prove yourself worthy of it."

"Just tell me what the mission is." Ahsoka replied. She didn't care anymore. She just wanted to get it over with.

"We've had numerous reports of rogue Clone units across the galaxy. Whilst many of the Jedi who refused to come quietly have been eliminated, several high profile targets have yet to be confirmed."

"So I'm hunting surviving Jedi?"

"No, not today. You will accompany Lord Vader to Mustafar and assist him in eliminating the surviving members of the Seperatist leadership and issue a galaxy wide shutdown command to all droid units. You will have the honour of ending the Clone War.", Palpatine commanded, the threat of repercussion if she refused evident in his tone and body language.

"Who's Lord Vader?" Ahsoka inquired as the Force rushed over her in warning.

Palpatine merely glanced over at Anakin in response, and Ahsoka felt her heart plummet.

"Oh Anakin… you didn't…"

To his credit, Anakin bowed his head, a sense of shame emanating out of him for a brief moment before it was gone.

"I'm sure you will have much to discuss enroute to Mustafar. Leave now, and do not return until Gunray and his cronies are dead." Sidious spat before he began to move away, Commander Fox and the Clones moving from their positions to surround him.

Ahsoka wanted to scream. She wanted to cry.

But she couldn't. People were counting on her.

Instead, she turned to look at Anakin.

"Master…. Why…"

"We have to go." Was all Anakin said as he turned and began to exit the ruins of the Jedi Archives.

Against her better judgment, Ahsoka moved to follow.

The walk to what remained of one of the Jedi Temple's hangers was filled with silence. Neither Ahsoka nor Anakin said a word between them, no matter how much the former wanted to question everything.

This was all so very wrong. They had committed a war crime! Partaken in a massacre of an entire culture!

For all intents and purposes… they had murdered the younglings, not the Clones!

She wouldn't sleep tonight… or this morning… whatever time of day it was. Ahsoka had lost track in all of the chaos.

The duo rounded another corner into yet another badly damaged hallway. This one however was devoid of any corpses. Judging from the blaster marks on the walls, as well as the telltale sign of lightsaber marks on the ground, a battle had taken place here.

Ahsoka didn't need to be present to know what had happened to the bodies. The surviving Clones had no doubt disposed of them.

The Clones. They had been so willing to slaughter the Jedi on command. Had Rex been right about those chips? Or had they done this out of their own free will?

Ahsoka wasn't sure anymore. She wasn't sure if she would ever be sure of anything ever again.

"We're nearly there."

Anakin finally spoke in a whisper. His signature in the Force, usually so bright and powerful, was dull beyond belief. It almost didn't feel like Anakin anymore. It felt like someone else entirely.

'Vader. That was what Sidious had called him. Was that a Sith name? A title?'

Ahsoka tried to push that thought out of her head. He might not have confirmed or denied it back in the Archives… but she knew something had happened. If he had accepted a Sith title… why?

"Anakin… did… have you…"

"Not now."

He didn't snap, at least not with anger, and not towards her like he had done previously.

She would drop it… for now.

Instead, she continued to move on, following her former Jedi Master.

It took a few more minutes for them to arrive at the closest hangar.

Ahsoka tried not to survey the damage once again. She wouldn't see anything she hadn't already seen. Or at least, she hoped she wouldn't.

Instead, her eyes were drawn to a sizable civilian freighter sitting on a landing pad. Its design reminded her of the Twilight. Small, yet maneuverable. Years ago, Anakin would have relished the opportunity to customize and enhance such a ship, just as he had the Twilight.

She had learnt a lot from watching and helping him with that old rust bucket. He had taught her everything.

She only wished he had the answers right now. She wished he could just tell her something, or give her direction, and everything would be alright, just like it was before.

Things were so much simpler when she was his Padawan.

The interior of the ship, the cockpit in particular, was nothing special.

Two seats and a variety of terminals that made up the intricacies of how the ship worked. It was basic, but it would do for the mission at hand.

Ahsoka moved on instinct towards the copilot seat. She knew Anakin would want to fly, and he was a better pilot than she would ever be.

It wasn't until she sat down and got as comfy as she could that she finally spotted a familiar white and blue astromech in the corner, plugged into a terminal.

"Artoo!" Ahsoka called, pleased to see him. Part of her feared he had been in the Temple when everything had gone wrong and had been destroyed or damaged in the process.

The astromech rotated his head to the side to face her, beeping once sadly before he refocused on his task once again. Ahsoka knew how he was feeling. She felt exactly the same.

Beside her, Anakin took his seat and began to work on the controls before him.

He skipped the pre flight checks… predictably, and powered up the engines.

The ship shuddered as the engines began to power up, forcing Ahsoka to grip her seat for a brief moment or fall off from the amount of shaking that occurred.

"Don't worry. It's smoother in flight." Anakin commented from beside her. Previously, such a comment would be filled with humour, along with a smirk.

Now, what humour was present was heavily dulled, no doubt by the same thing that was dulling her senses.

"If anyone can fly a hunk of junk, it's you."

Anakin only nodded in response as he began to direct the shuttle out of the hangar and up into Coruscant's sky.

It was then that Ahsoka realised just how much time had passed. The warmth of the sun bathed her and Anakin through the cockpit glass. Through her custom suit of armour, she couldn't feel the heat on the vast majority of her skin, but on her face she could.

It felt comfortable, even when everything else around her did not.

Her time relishing the warmth on her face was cut short however by the sound of an incoming comm call.

Anakin wasted no time, reaching across the dashboard and accepting the call without any hesitation.

A holographic image flashed into existence moments later, taking the form of Tarkin.

"General Skywalker. Agent Tano. The Chancellor has asked me to give you a sitrep of the ongoing Jedi Uprising before you depart to Mustafar."

Ahsoka felt a rush of anger at the mention of an 'Uprising'. That certainly wasn't the word she would use to describe it.

'But the Jedi did attack the leader of the Republic first. You gave them an opportunity to surrender and come quietly as well!'

"Proceed Admiral Tarkin. What do we need to know?" Anakin's words cut off Ahsoka's line of thought.

"Excellent General. Firstly, I am pleased to report that the vast majority of rebelling Jedi scattered across the galaxy have been dealt with. Clone forces loyal to the Republic have succeeded on multiple fronts in eliminating or apprehending the Jedi that refused to surrender. As it stands we are estimating a seventy five percent success rate."

Another rush of anger flooded Ahsoka at Tarkin's estimate. That was a lot of no doubt dead Jedi.

But at least it wasn't a one hundred percent success rate.

"What of the other twenty five percent?" Ahsoka found herself asking.

"That, Agent Tano, is the unfortunate side effect of another issue we are dealing with. We have had reports of infighting in several Clone legions, similar to the incidents General Skywalker reported with the 501st Command Structure. As it stands we have yet to receive reports confirming the elimination or capture of Generals Plo Koon and Aayla Secura. We have reason to believe that Commanders Wolffe and Bly have assisted their Jedi in eluding our forces. Furthermore, we have reports that General Vos eliminated an entire legion of troops on Kashyyyk, and we have yet to confirm the fate of Grandmaster Yoda."

Ahsoka never thought in a million years that anything Tarkin would say would fill her with a sense of hope.

But if what he said was true, then at least some had made it out alive, and with their loyal Clone Commanders in tow.

An image of Rex's downtrodden expression came to mind briefly before she pushed it aside to ask a question she feared the answer to.

"And…what of General Kenobi and his legion?"

Ahsoka didn't miss the way Anakin's signature in the Force flared in despair. She hoped that didn't mean what she feared it did.

"I'm afraid that is the other piece of information I need to inform you both about. Be cautious when entering the space above Coruscant. A few hours ago the reactor core on the Tribunal entered a self-destruct phase, and Clones aboard were unable to stop the destruct sequence. The subsequent explosion took out two escort frigates and left copious amounts of debris in several major traffic lanes. Please be sure you are a safe distance away from the debris and cleanup crews before your hyperspace jump."

At the mention of the destruction of the Tribunal, Ahsoka's heart sank once again.

There was a very good chance that both Obi-Wan and Caleb, not to mention Boil and the entirety of the 212th were dead.

"Were there any survivors from the explosion?" Anakin asked, keeping his tone steady. Ahsoka could tell that despite everything, he too was concerned about Obi-Wan.

"As it stands, General, only Lieutenant Thrawn made it out alive. He's on route to Coruscant as we speak for a private meeting with the Chancellor."

"That's good to hear Admiral. Anything else we need to know?"

"No, General Skywalker. Have a safe journey and good luck on your mission." Admiral Tarkin responded to Anakin's question before his hologram vanished.

The subtle beeping of Artoo in the background as he confirmed the coordinates of the upcoming hyperspace jump was the only sound in the cockpit as the shuttle was brought above the atmosphere of Coruscant and into orbit around the planet.

In the distance, Ahsoka could see the wreck of the Tribunal and its two escort frigates.

The Venator had been split into two large pieces, one of which had clearly crashed into one of its escorts, resulting in its destruction.

Once again, Ahsoka was filled with a sense of despair. This had gone so very wrong on so many levels.

She hoped… she prayed to the Force that Obi-Wan and Caleb had somehow made it off of the ship before it had been destroyed.

And if they hadn't, Palpatine would have even more to answer for.

Resisting the urge to snarl, Ahsoka instead turned to focus as Anakin angled the ship away from the Tribunal's wreckage, replacing the image of death before her with the oddly hypnotic vortex of hyperspace.

"This is Master Kenobi. My Clone Troopers turned on me and my Padawan. Does anyone read?"

That was the fifth time Caleb had watched Obi-Wan try to contact someone on an encrypted channel that he knew of, one that was supposedly reserved for the utmost emergencies.

And each time Obi-Wan had tried thus far, he had received no response. Caleb was beginning to lose hope that anyone else had survived.

"Master?"

"Have faith Caleb. We will find someone."

Caleb wasn't sure he believed that anymore.

The sound of Boil groaning behind him caused Caleb to turn in the copilot seat of Ahsoka's personal shuttle.

They had escaped the explosion and subsequent carnage caused by the Tribunal by the skin of their teeth, and now thanks to the inbuilt stealth drive they had been able to linger on the very edge of the star system Coruscant was in without being detected.

Caleb just hoped that Obi-Wan's attempts at contacting someone weren't traceable. The last thing they needed was a ship full of chipped Clones coming after them.

Caleb still couldn't believe what had happened. The Clones, they had been so loyal for so very long, and then suddenly, as if someone had flipped a switch, all that was gone. Instead of loyal soldiers, loyal friends, the Clones had been replaced with murderous monsters who had been more than willing to kill him and Obi-Wan, not to mention Boil for defending them.

"General." The Clone in question began as he moved to join the two Jedi. "We need to leave the system. There's nothing we can do."

"And you should be resting Commander. You were shot after all."

"I'm well aware of that General."

"Please don't fight. Not now." Caleb couldn't help but interrupt. He knew they weren't fighting, not really, but right now the last thing he wanted was the only two people he had left at odds with one another.

"You right kid. I'm sorry." Boil replied softly as he grunted in pain, moving to sit back out of the cockpit.

With the Commander gone, Caleb turned to Obi-Wan.

The Jedi Master had a look of deep guilt on his face, and his signature in the Force was full of despair.

"Anakin… where are you?" Obi-Wan whispered softly before he sighed. Caleb understood. All Obi-Wan wanted was confirmation of his former apprentice's survival. Boil had mentioned that Captain Rex and the other 501st Elite would try to save both Skywalker and Tano if such an event ever occurred. From what Caleb had seen of the 501st, he had full faith in the Clones' capabilities.

Ahsoka and Anakin would be fine.

Caleb opened his mouth to speak, to try and offer some support for Obi-Wan, but found that he couldn't find the words to comfort the Jedi Master.

Caleb's inability to speak led to Obi-Wan once again trying the emergency channel.

"This is Obi-Wan Kenobi calling any Jedi survivors. Do you read me?"

"Master… I think Boil might be right. I don't think anyone is going to…

"Master Kenobi? Is that you?"

Caleb couldn't help but release a yelp of joy at the sound of someone's voice. He knew that perhaps he should be cautious. It could very well be a trap.

But, the voice at least didn't sound like a Clone's. That was a good sign.

Caleb watched as Obi-Wan scrambled to respond to the voice, a look of hope in his face for the first time since the chaos had begun.

"Senator Organa? Is that you?"

"It is. I am glad to hear your voice Master Kenobi. I'm transmitting rendezvous coordinates to you now. We've already picked up Master Yoda." Bail replied.

"That is good news Senator. Thank you. We are on the way."

At Obi-Wan's words, Caleb couldn't help but smile.

Perhaps, just perhaps there was still hope after all.

Author's thoughts

After the last few chapters of pure chaos, it was nice to write a slower dialogue based chapter... even if it did involve me having to be extra mean to my favourite character. Sorry about that Ahsoka. :(

That said, I hope that scene alone sells the idea that Palpatine isn't playing around anymore. He's got no reason to hide his true intentions or behavior anymore, and he's more than willing to dish out punishments as he sees fit. To that end, I'm sure some of you expected him to kill someone in that scene, or will argue that will make more logical sense. In response I say:

... do you want me to cause myself severe depression by writing that?

Anyways, not much else to say regarding this chapter.

These next few chapters are shorter, but you can expect some longer one's soon. Speaking of which, if all goes to plan, this story will be concluding soon. I'm estimating that either chapter 91 or 92 will be the last.

As normal, thanks once again to my beta reader 'ArrinSnyders'. His help continues to be invaluable.

Next time round, Ahsoka and Anakin have a 'discussion', and Caleb and Obi-Wan visit what remains of the Jedi Temple.

As usual, comment and speculate at will. Speaking of which:

amerdism: I'm really pleased that you brought that up and that you like it! People do often forget that Ahsoka isn't human, and I always enjoy conveying that with subtle hints to how she hears, or how she snarls like a vicious hunter when angry. I just wish we knew more about Togruta culture and history for me to make even more references. For now though I'm happy to make her a hunter at best! XD
Ahsoka's role in Sidious' plans should be a bit clearer here, but rest assured more of that is coming. It'll be interesting to see people's reaction to what is to come. :)

DS Rider: Too right they did. He played his hand perfectly.

Ascoobian: There is so much I could say regarding your analysis of how Ahsoka is acting, believe me, but it would spoil these final few chapters of the story, so you can understand why I'm not. I will say though that you might be onto something with saying how she feels trapped, but at the same time there are other aspects yet to be revealed.
In regards to you no longer feeling sorry for her...well... let me put it this way. You aren't supposed to. At this point in time, Ahsoka is the bad guy. You aren't supposed to be cheering for her, or Anakin, or Palpatine. You are supposed to be cheering for Caleb and Obi-Wan, or Rex and his de-chipped brothers. :)

1saaa: I'm glad you enjoyed the action packed chapter. That cliffhanger was one of my most evil, and resolving it was great fun.
Rex is... as you rightfully said, awesome. No argument there. As for Ahsoka, I'm not enjoying being mean to her whatsoever. It's part of why these last few chapters are taking so long to write. Being mean to my fav has some negative effects now and then. But it's worth it for the reaction I guess.
We are near the end now for sure, I just hope you all enjoy how it concludes. And even if you don't, I'm glad you enjoyed most of the ride. You are very welcome for the story. Thank you for staying around so long to read it. I really appreciate it. :)

beard boy: I'm glad you like it. :)

Morriganna: I mean... I can understand why they did... all things considered, but you are welcome. Ahsoka is loyal to a fault after all. :)

SappySoulTaker: Well then it's a good thing the story isn't over and she's still got room to develop. Ahsoka does outright oppose Order 66... but she was tricked under false pretenses of trying to save everyone into participating. She's as deluded as canon Anakin.

Ryan1017: Yeah I take no pleasure in all this darkness and death, believe me. It's very hard to write and keep myself emotionally in check in the process.
I do kind of regret Appo's death somewhat now, but I wanted a moment of darkness from Rex where he just guns down his brother, so it had to be a name Clone. I suppose I can always Clone another Appo if need be? XD
And yeah, Rex losing his hand. He's part of Clan Skywalker now. XD

tf330129: Thanks! I'll keep going. Thanks for the continued support. :)
