Part.3 Dark Design War

White forest base: Gordon Freeman's dimension

Lyra Belacqua couldn't believe her eyes as she was carried away by a mysterious man into a magic portal and ended up somewhere else she had never been to before to a place she did not know, with people she had never met before along with a strange metal thing called D0G as well. Could these people be the magesterium or completely something else as this place is alive with activity, but where is her daemon? Guess she did not come with her to this place.

Gordon Freeman is carrying her until he placed her down in which he wanted answers and he will give her some answers as well, considering only moments ago they were on a battle field between the forces of the Combine and forces of the Kromaggs, which are allied with opposing forces in some plot to destroy the dimension they were just in, Gordon had seen the crossfire of forces in a dimension called Sesame street and had met up with Quinn Mallory and his team of explorers who mentioned the Kromaggs.

"What do you want from me?" asked Lyra

"To swap stories that is what we want and both sides are being used," said Gordon

"By kidnapping me," said Lyra

"Would you rather go back and be shot at," said Gordon

"No," said Lyra "All right what do you want to know,"

"Everything in your dimension and then I will tell you my tale," said Gordon

Lyra sighs as she goes on to explain in detail about everything including her life, the daemons and the Magesterium, also the recent adventure she had and also talked about being a big part in the war to come, she thought about if this indeed is this war and once she is finished. Gordon mentioned all about himself, his life and adventures in other dimension and of course the Interdimensional empire known as the Combine, along with ravaging his own dimension in which they are in as he had brought her here.

Gordon's friends chipped into talk about it as well and Lyra did mention why there are no children here as Gordon mentioned after the 7th hour War the Combine gathered all the worlds children and slaughtered them all, after that a black tower was put in place to suppress humans from having children, however decades to exposure to the point mankind can no longer have kids. This shocked Lyra and is scared as well.

"I will show you what the combine have done," said Gordon "Do you want to come with me,"

"Yes," said Lyra

Raveholm: Gordon Freeman's dimension

Serafina Pekkala had followed the man known as Gregori to an old church as she had flown there until she landed and noticed this place along with her surroundings is dark and empty as if something evil had come forth to the lands. The man sat down and looked across to the woman.

"I welcome you to the congregation sky queen," said Gregori "Any who wishes to fight evil is a friend of god,"

"What happened to this place and what were those things," said Pekkala

"The devil had come and his army," said Gregori "People they once were, but demons they are now. Once long ago the skies opened up as the devils army had come to sweep the lands of Earth as there was fire and brimstone, until the lands were conquered by the devils army. This is Ravenholm as there is or was millions of people here until all were effected but me by the devils creatures. I have god on my side as they won't take me and who might you be."

"I am Serafina Pekkala," said Pekkala "is the devils army still here,"

"No," said Gregori "Not anymore, one day the army of light rose up thanks to brother Gordon and drove out the devils army out, he was here during that time and not too long ago brother Wally was here, as I had found him where he lays and nursed him back to health. He too has gone to wherever he is."

"Where do I find the army of light and this brother Gordon?" asked Pekkala

"To the East, sister Pekkala," said Gregori "But be for warned the spawns of the demons lurk ever where…..as a city lays in ruins due to the armies of light battling the armies of darkness. I can show you the way out of this place."

"I have my own method in getting there and thank you," said Pekkala "Do you want to leave this place,"

"Ah, very well and no," said Gregori "This is my home and I must always spread the word of god for the congregation, the demons will never get me as long as I have faith in God,"

"Then farewell to you," said Pekkala

Alternate Earth: The front lines

It is nearly a week as both forces are battling all over this alternate Earth with Lord Aseriles forces allied with the Kromaggs are battling against the Magesterim forces allied with the Combine as cites are being trashed, lives are gone and every place is a war zone in which at the moment has become a stalemate in which no one side is safe.

Ruins of city 17

Gordon showed Lyra around the runs of city 17 as everything had been damaged or destroyed; bodies are still everywhere including Combine technology and creatures she has never seen before. Also she spots a ruined spire, just like the one she had seen in a photograph in which the Magesterium was building in their capitol, but for what purpose she now knows and looking to her left she spotted a familiar face landing before them Serafina Pekkala.

"Serafina Pekkala," said Lyra "You came here as well,"

"By accident," said Pekkala "And are you brother Gordon, that Gregori had mentioned,"

"I am," nodded Gordon "Lyra mentioned you,"

"I want to go back and stop this," said Lyra

"I agree," nodded Pekkala

"All right as I do have an idea to stop this, before it's too late," said Gordon

Magesterium capitol

A magesterium general has come to the throne room as he bowed before the high chancellor and the advisor in giving his report.

"My lord the spire is now ready and activated," said the general

"Excellent," said the high chancellor

"Then it is time to bring forth the ultimate daemon weapon," said the Combine advisor

All three of them head to the window to look at the black Spire which is some distance away, but has a spooky like presence and then a burst of energy shoots out into the sky as a massive super portal opens up and a large shadow looms over the ground below as it passed through the portal and lands upon the ground as it's loud roar echoed in the background, along with Combine forces as well to escort the creature to the front lines.
