Last time: Cien paid a visit the temple Sasha and her destroyed a while ago.

Now: Sasha and Kait get dressed up for the nightclub.

Chapter 10- Whoa...

The sun was drifting down across a late afternoon sky outside which meant that they were due to leave for the rendezvous with marshal J'onz and the squad of militia troops that would be waiting and ready to take on the nightclub. Viran and Oppie had been down in the conference room going over the schematics of the nightclub that were available in the public archive, and a map of the area surrounding it to make sure they knew where all possible exits and vantage points were. When they noticed the time, however, Oppie went to go get them a truck from the motor pool while Viran offered to go fetch Sasha and Kait, who had been getting ready for the last two hours. He had just stopped by Kait's room on the way to his shared one with Sasha to inform her it was go time. She had responded that she would meet them down stairs. Now it was just time to get his wife.

Viran knocked on the door, even though he could have easily just entered the room, just in case Sasha was still changing. "Hey, hun. It's me. It's time to go. Are you ready?" He asked her through the door.

"Yeah. Give me like five minutes," Sasha called back.

"Alright. Do you want me to wait here or at the truck?" Viran asked back.

He heard her curse on the other side. It didn't sound like she had hurt herself or was in trouble. More like she was frustrated about something. He knew she was getting dressed up and all. So maybe she was struggling with her hair or make up, he wondered to himself.

But he thought to ask anyway. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Just my stupid hair isn't cooperating," She answered back with heavy annoyance.

He was right. "Okay. Do you need a hand?"

"Nah, I've got it. Why don't you go wait at the truck. This might be more than five," Sasha groaned.

"If you're sure, but we need to go. So be quick," Viran reminded her.

"Yeah yeah," She groused from the other side.

Shrugging, Viran moved away from the door and down the hall towards the lift. He rode down to the lobby and then headed out the front door towards the motor pool where Oppie was waiting.

"How did it sound like it was going?" Oppie asked as Viran approached.

"Kait said she was almost ready and Sasha said she needed five more minutes," Viran told him. He leaned against the truck with a sigh. "It shouldn't take this long, should it?" He asked.

Oppie shrugged. "It takes a while to gear up for a tactical situation, I imagine this is the same sort of thing."

"I guess it is," Viran said, shrugging. "Anyway, heard from Marshal J'onz?"

"Yeah," Oppie replied, "he and his team went out about half an hour ago, they were getting set up near the back entrance like we planned."

"Excellent," Viran said as he put his hands into his jacket pockets. "So that just means we are the last ones to leave."

"Yep." Oppie said with a shrug. "So you figure out what paint scheme we want for the X-Wings yet? I'm still holding out for blue and gold."

"Yeah, I'm not sure. I think blue and gold would be cool. But the green and black just keeps popping up in my mind as such a striking look for the X-Wings," Viran replied. He sighed. "I just wished we had one to test the colors on first to make the decision just a bit easier."

"Well, what if we got them and then started playing with paint?" Oppie suggested. "I'm not sure that the paint scheme needs to hold us up if we're ready to purchase them, and maybe we could paint them different colors? We could just do the family sigil and paint them whatever colors we want."

"As cool as it would be to have them all look different like Mando armor," Viran pointed out. "Kyr really wants them to all look the same. Which I kind of agree with. But that doesn't mean the flight helmets can't all look different. I've already started sketching out the designs for mine." He smiled at that last part as he was proud of his makeshift drawings.

"Me too." Oppie admitted, thinking back to his own thoughts for a flight helmet design. "So black and green, are you thinking black overall body color with green highlights like the Republic X-wings? Or how were you thinking of mixing them?" He asked, trying to get a better idea of what Vrian was envisioning.

"I was thinking black and green pinstriping, but I hadn't considered making it all black with green accents," Viran said, scratching his chin. "That could look really cool. And they could almost be like stealth ships like that

"Stealth?" Oppie asked. "That's a pretty bright color combination to be considered stealth." He mused with a smirk.

"Oh and you think blue and gold is stealthy?" Viran asked with an amused smirk.

"Not stealthy, but it's elegant." Oppie said with some mock indignation. "You know, like Jedi order colors."

"Oh yeah," Viran remembered. "I forgot that was the order's color scheme. I hadn't considered that as an option."

"Well, the old order at least. I heard that Luke person was reforming a version of the order, I don't know if he picked different colors." Oppie said with a shrug.

"Who knows," Viran shrugged too. "Also, we should really see about meeting up with that guy. I mean he's a Jedi. We're Jedi. I feel like we could give him some pointers in rebuilding the order."

"Yeah, we could, I guess. Probably would be a good idea to meet him at some point just to say hi, I'm not sure if he's heard about us or -" Oppie fell silent as his gaze shifted up over Viran shoulder towards the door to the motorpool, and his eyes widened a little.

Viran looked at him confused and then turned to see what he was staring at. Viran's eyes widened and his jaw dropped as saw Sasha and Kait come walking over to them dressed head to toe in dresses and heels. So that's what Kait meant by clubbing clothes.

But Viran couldn't tear his eyes away from his wife. She was dressed in a long navy blue dress with a large slit in the right side and a halter top that left very little to the imagination. Her hair hung down one side in luscious waves. And her make up was a sharp smokey eyed look that made his heart throb. And to top it all off, she was wearing a pair of black high heels that showed off her legs. He had seen Sasha look like a beautiful angel of Iago on their wedding night. But this Sasha before him… he would say the proper term would be drop dead sexy. He swallowed nervously as continued to stare.

Kait strutted beside her, wearing a black dress that was cut low and stopped with a slanted cut just above the knees and had a high cut slit along her right leg as well, with a swirl of small crystals that swept from her right shoulder down to her left thigh. She walked in high black heels that matched her dress, and her hair framed her face turning to soft curls as it fell across her shoulders. Her eyes were also surrounded by smokey makeup, and she was wearing a dark red lipstick. Oppie noticed all of this.

The girls came to a stop before them. Sasha raised a brow at them.

"What's wrong? Do we look okay?" Sasha asked, a hint of anxiety in her voice from being dressed like this.

"Yeah. yeah… yeah," Viran struggled to form words.

Sasha blushed heavily at that.

"Everything ready to go?" Kait asked as she approached, looking towards Oppie.

"Uhh... Yeah." Oppie replied, clearing his throat. "Yep, got the truck and everything." He said.

"Then let's go," Sasha said, gesturing to the truck. "The less time I'm standing in these heels, the better."

"Well I think you look great," Viran said as he opened the rear passenger door for his wife. "Both of you. You both look great." He was very obviously flustered. Sasha smirked at that.

"That's very nice of you." Kait said with a smirk. She glanced at Op, "you mind driving, it's annoying in heels like this." She asked.

"Oh, sure. Let me get the door for you." He said as he opened the passenger door behind the driver's side.

"Thanks." Kait said with a smirk.

Sasha planted a kiss on Viran's cheek as she climbed into the back. He closed the door with a boyish grin on his face before climbing into the passenger seat. Oppie stepped into the driver's seat trying to hide an embarrassed grimace.

"So uh." Oppie said as he started driving the truck away. "Viran and I were talking about paint schemes for the X-Wings, what were you thinking Sasha?" He asked, glancing at her in the rearview mirror.

"What X-Wings?" Kait asked, looking between the three.

"Oh our family was thinking of buying X-Wings and we were discussing paint ideas," Viran explained, relaxing slightly as talking about ships helped him calm down. "So Sash, ideas?"

Sasha just chuckled at them. Amused by their flustered nature as it was a very rare sight for her to see. "I was thinking purple," she said simply as a smile grew on her face. "What do you think, Kait? Do you know any good ideas for ship colors?"

Kait glanced at her, also amused by the boys reactions. "I've always liked the classic colors, but I always wondered what they would look like in black and red."

After about half an hour, they reached the rendezvous location which was about a block away from the nightclub. The plan was to drop Sasha and Kait here before stationing themselves across the street from the nightclub where another militia vehicle would be hiding in a nearby alley as back up. And a similar set up was in the back with J'onz and his team. Viran turned to the ladies as the truck slowed to a stop.

"Alright, this is where we drop you off," Viran said, calmer now as the awkward air between the four of them vanished during their drive. "You guys got your commlinks, earpieces, and weapons right?"

"Yes, my saber is right here," Sasha said, gesturing to the small blue handbag she was holding.

"Yep, I've got my blaster in my clutch and my spare holdout… somewhere." Kait answered with a smirk.

Viran turned slightly red at that. Oppie studiously kept his gaze outward, looking around the scene. "Okay. Good to know. Keep your comms on. We'll be right there if you need us," he said as Sasha placed her ear piece in her left ear.

"Be careful." Oppie said to them.

"We will. See you guys in a bit," Sasha said as she opened her door and sliding out of the truck.

"If I have to be." Kait said, slipping out of the seat. Oppie turned around and looked at her sharply.

Sasha felt her smile falter at that and gave Oppie a reassuring glance before closing the door. She made her way around the truck to Kait.

Oppie and Viran sat in silence for a moment as the girls walked away to get to the club. "They looked very nice." Oppie observed, staring straight ahead.

"Oh yeah. Very nice," Viran said before adjusting in his seat. "We should probably go."

"Yep." Oppie said as he took a deep breath and started the truck and go park in front of the club a block down the street.
