"Welcome to the best place in the world," Louie said to Cy-Rat, as he opened the main golden gates. "McDuck Manor!"
Then he, his family, his friends and Daisy led their new cyborg friend through them and headed to the massive mansion. As she followed her new friends, Cy-Rat had to admit that she was very impressed at how vast and beautiful the mansion and the garden was. Huey explained to her how it was the perfect place for knowledge and learning, Dewey explained to her how it was always full of adventures, Louie explained to how it was the best place to get rich and live luxury and finally Webby explained how her dad Scrooge McDuck had bought the land and built the world's best manor and grew the world's best gardens in the world.
"Well, I must admit that this does look very productive as it is beautiful," Cy-Toad said.
"Oh, good!" Webby cried happily. "My dad will love you at once if you say that to him when you meet him."
As they walked from the Beagle Boys' junkyard to the mansion, she explained to her new friend all the adventures her dad experienced and all the accomplishments he achieved in his life.
Then everyone froze and heard a loud noise. It was coming from the sky. They looked to see a plane in the sky.
"The Sunchaser!" Dewey cried happily. "Mom, Uncle Scrooge and Launchpad are back home!"
It looked it was coming into land and very closely to them.
"It's Launchpad's flying!" Huey cried. "Everyone, duck!"
They all ducked, except Cy-Rat.
"Why aren't you ducking?" Louie asked.
"Two reasons, Dewey," Cy-Rat said. "The first reason is I'm not a duck, I'm a rat."
"Half-rat, actually."
"Well, you get the idea. And the second reason is –"
The Sunchaser finallylanded and stopped in front of Cy-Rat.
"I've had plenty of more dangerous vehicles than this one with more reckless pilots stopped in front of me during my entire life," she said.
Then the Sunchaser's ramp opened and three ducks came out.
"If only I wasn't too tired, I could have flown us back home safe and sound," said Della Duck.
"You're still tired, lassie," said Scrooge McDuck. "Taking part in that air race against Glomgold is one thing but winning it against him and his entire fleet of planes is certainly an accomplishment."
"Yeah, Della, you deserved a rest," Launchpad McQuack said. "That's why I flew today."
"Except I didn't really rest, Launchpad," Della said. "How could I with you –" Then she saw her boys. "Boys!"
"Mom!" the boys cried, as they ran to hug their mother.
"Dad!" Webby cried, as she went to hug her dad.
"Webby, darling!" Scrooge cried happily, as he hugged her back.
"Hi, Launchpad!" cried Lena, Violet, May and June.
"Hey, guys," Launchpad said, waving to them.
"Due to the smiles on your faces," Huey said, "I take it that you beat Glomgold in the air race?"
"Aye, Huey," Scrooge said. "We won! Thanks to my team of ace pilots here."
"A team of one ace pilot and one weird one," Della muttered under her breath.
"And Glomgold enemies owe me fifty million dollars!"
"Wow!" the kids cried.
"What if he doesn't pay?" Louie asked. "Assuming that both of you signed a contract."
"Which we did," Scrooge said. "Well, if he can't pay, then he'll have to –"
"Say, guys," Launchpad said. "Who's your new friend?"
Then everyone looked at Cy-Rat. They had seen rats and they had seen robots during my life, but they had never seen anything that was half rat and half robot.
"This is my friend called Cy-Rat," Daisy said.
"Hi, y'all," Cy-Rat greeted.
"Where did she come from?" Della asked.
"What's she doing here in my mansion?" Scrooge asked.
"Where's Donald, Daisy?" Della asked.
Then everyone noticed that Daisy had returned from their vacation, but not Donald.
Della grabbed Daisy. "Is he okay?"
Daisy sighed. "It's a very long story. The sooner we all go into the mansion and sit down, the sooner Cy-Rat and I will explain to you all about Donald and everything."
"Very well, then," Scrooge said. "Let's all get inside. Beakley! Cups of tea for the grownups and glasses of lemonade for the kids now!"
Scrooge's maid, Bentina Beakley, opened the main door, with two trays. One was full of cups with a tea pot and the other was full of glasses of lemonade. "Anything else, sir?"
Scrooge was too stunned to speak because he was amazed at how Beakley got his orders ready before he gave them. "Come on, everyone. Inside."
Della spat her tea out. "No way!"
Daisy had already started to explain to everyone about how she and Donald were heading back home after their vacation when they got attacked by a navy of sea monsters led by Lady Brenda, a piranha that could not only breathe out of water but fly as well, and her admiral of her navy, Daniel Beakship. That was when Della spat her tea out.
"THE Daniel Beakship?"
"That stupid, uptight deadbeat that you used to date for a few years?" Scrooge asked.
"Yes, the very same one," Cy-Rat said.
"Donald recognized him immediately," Daisy said, "and I must say it was a very unfriendly reunion."
"Well, Donald never got on with him ever since I introduced him to my brother and Uncle Scrooge," Della said.
"And for good reason too," Scrooge said. "I there was the time –"
"Sorry to interrupt," Daisy said, "but the sooner we finish this story, the sooner we can help Donald."
"Please continue," Della said.
Then Daisy continued to say that Daniel, Lady Brenda and the Sea Monster Pirates were after Huey, Dewey and Louie, but she and Donald refused to tell them. Then Cy-Rat helped them escape from their fleet and they stayed for one night in a Brazilian hotel. Then the next day, which was three mornings ago, that they saw some sea monster pirates had arrived at the hotel and were looking for them.
"Donald insisted that I took Daisy back to Duckberg to warn you guys," Cy-Rat said.
"It's true, he did," Daisy said. "And then we came back here and we just arrived back in Duckberg and saved the kids from the Beagle Boys, while we were at it. Then we came back here and you know the rest."
While she and Cy-Rat explained everything to everyone, the ducks' new cyborg friend showed real evidence by turning using her red digital eye into a film projector and showed to everyone real photographic evidence that she, Daisy and Donald did everything they said they did. She was glad that it helped her audience believe her and Daisy as her film projector eye turn back into her digital red eye.
"So, now we have the useful information," Scrooge said, "we must rescue Donald and stop Della's boyfriend and his friends whatever they're doing."
"Ex-boyfriend," Della said. "And before five minutes ago, I never gave him a moment of thought. Even when I was on the moon for a decade."
"May we ask what's so important about this Daniel Beakship?" Louie asked.
"And why he's so bad?" Della asked.
"And why does he want us?"
"Do you want Cy-Rat and I tell them, Della, or do you want the honour of doing it yourself?" Daisy asked.
Della sighed. "Boys, there's something I should have told you a long time ago."
The triplets didn't like the sound of that.
