"Get off me, you weird, scary, uncomfortable flying creature, you!" Monty, who was still in his handcuffs that not even his strength could break, never stopped trying to break free from the figure that was holding him and also holding his friend Zipper, who was still trapped in his jar, and taking them somewhere that neither of them knew. "And let my friend go, too, you brainless, smelly beast!"
"Hey, we don't smell of nothing, Monty!"
"Shut up, Dale!"
"Both of you, shut up!"
Monty stopped yelling and wriggling when he heard those voices. The first two sounded a lot like two of his very dear friends that he had not seen since for many years. "Chip? Dale? Is that really you guys?"
The flying creature made a sighing sound and put down Monty and Zipper. Then the strong Australian mouse was even more surprised when it freed him from his cuffs by using one of its metal fingers as a key in the keyhole and when it freed Zipper from his jar. Then both of them saw the figure's mask and cape fall down and saw who were underneath them.
"Chip! Dale!" Monty went to hug his friends. "Can it really be?"
"Are you still fond of cheese, Monty?" Dale asked.
Then Monty ran to hug his chipmunk friends which he hadn't seen for five years. "It's really great to see you guys."
Zipper joined them into hugging.
"It's good to see you, Monty," Chip said.
"It's good to see you, too, Zipper," Dale said.
Then Monty looked at Cy-Had. "And who's your new flying friend?"
"This is Cy-Had," Chip said.
"That's short for Cyber Haddock," Dale said.
Zipper buzzed.
"Too right, Zipper," Monty said. "No surprise there."
"It's nice to meet you guys and I hate to ruin this reunion, but we need to focus on getting out of here," Cy-Had said.
She pointed to behind the partly reunited Rescue Rangers and they saw the Air Army coming towards them.
"Come on, guys," Monty said, rolling up his sleeves. "We can take 'em, now that Zipper and I are free."
"No, we can't, Monty," Chip said.
"Yes, we can, Chip," Dale said. "Just not Monty's idea."
"Oh, very genius," Chip said. "And what's the biggest idea you have in that dim-witted head of yours right now?"
"By doing this." Then Dale screamed as he ran ahead to the Air Army, but he crashed into a stone pillar.
"Yeah, that's gonna stop them!" Chip said sarcastically.
"Well, if you've always been smarter than me," Dale said, "then how come you haven't got any better ideas than me?"
That seemed to have got Chip. "Well, that's… Uh… Because I –"
Monty chuckled as he watched his chipmunk friends argue. "Nice to see that they ain't changed a bit since the Rescue Rangers were finished long ago, eh, Zipper?"
Zipper nodded.
"Out of the way, all of you!"
The four Rescue Rangers moved out of the way in time to see Cy-Had holding one of her inventions, which looked a lot like a red gun. Then they saw out of the invention came out sonic rays, but they headed for the nearest two stone pillars and knocked them down and trapped the Air Army behind them.
"What's that invention of yours, Cy-Had?" Chip asked.
"My sonic gun, Chip," Cy-Had replied. "It fires sonic rays together."
"Genius!" Dale cried.
"Thanks, Dale," Cy-Had said. "But you're a genius too."
"Really?" Dale asked.
Chip just scoffed. "What did he do that was darn well clever?"
"When he bumped into one of the brick pillars, that gave me the idea to get my sonic gun out and fire at the pillars to trap them. So, well done, Dale."
Dale blushed. "Aww, it was nothing."
"For once, you're right, Dale," Chip said. "It really was nothing."
"Anyway, let's continue to get out of here," Cy-Had said.
Then they all followed her.
The Rescue Rangers kept on running and Cy-Had kept on flying. Then they didn't stop until they got trapped inside a giant plastic dome. Then they were all greeted by the rest of the Air Army and Lady Annie herself.
"Good try, Cy-Had," the hawk sorceress said, clapping her wings sarcastically. "That was a very good try, but we're not as dumb as you think we are."
Cy-Had just smiled. "Oh, yes, you are, Annie."
"Oh, yeah? How so?"
Then there was a rumble sound. Everyone looked up to see a hole in the stone ceiling above them. They couldn't see anything apart from the stone ceiling parts falling, which everyone dodged.
Annie scoffed. "Is that your escape plan, Cy-Had? A display show?"
"Exactly, Annie. But that was just the opening. This is the main event."
"What are you talking about?" Then Annie heard a machine going on. She and her army looked up to see a tiny rocket plane of some sorts flying above them.
"Hey, that looks like the Speedy Cloud!" Dale exclaimed.
"That's because it is!" Chip snapped.
"You came in that tiny thing?" Annie asked. Then she and her army laughed their heads off. "How can you escape in that?"
"Watch and learn," Cy-Had said. "Or watch and don't learn. It doesn't really matter to me because I know you never learn anything, Annie."
"That's because I don't need to learn anything," Annie said. "I know everything."
"Even this?" Then Cy-Had pressed the yellow button on her device.
"Yeah, I do. I know that –" Then Annie and her Air Army backed away when the tiny rocket plane grew like a real one. Then the middle under the ship opened and a blue beaming device took over the plastic dome with Cy-Had and the Rescue Rangers and beamed them up. Then the Speedy Cloud shrank back into the small one that it came from.
"Well, what are you morons waiting for?" Annie asked. "Grab it before it escapes!"
The Air Army flew to grab them, but the Speedy Cloud managed to speed away and escape through the hole in the roof. Then it grew back into its full size and zoomed away.
The Air Army froze and looked at their sorceress leader in fear.
"Do I even have to say, GET AFTER THEM!" she roared.
She didn't have to because the Air Army immediately flew after the Speedy Cloud.
"Well, you wanted me to learn something from this, Cy-Had. Now, it's your turn to learn something. I'll teach you a lesson you will never forget." Annie grinned evilly as she rubbed her wings together.
