Chapter 4
Beta: Bratja Rasa, Mountain
Naruto was sitting at his shrine and about to start his ritual.
He wanted to get this over with before heading out to the meeting that he was being dragged to. More particular, the 8th was asked to bring him along since he had exposure to Rekka and his madness.
Plus, he had evidence to prove the bugs as he had a live specimen on hand.
A knock at the door took Naruto's attention away from the shrine.
"Come in." Naruto called out before the door opened.
He saw Shinra dressed up in his Fire Force uniform and he saluted.
"Morning Naruto." Shinra said with a smile.
Naruto smiled in response.
"Morning Shinra, you don't have to salute me I'm not one on formalities." Naruto replied.
Shinra gave Naruto his trade mark nervous smile, his lips nervously cracking open into a toothy smirk.
"Sorry force of habit." Shinra said in a mild panic.
Naruto nodded his head, "So what can I help you with?"
"Well, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind someone praying with you today?"
This shocked Naruto.
Shinra was offering to join him in prayer to Amaterasu. Looking around he motioned him to come into the room.
Shinra entered the room and Naruto gave him a frown,
"Did someone put you up to this?" He asked in borderline irritation.
He shook his head and gave a serious expression,
"No. Honestly, I figured I could learn your rites and rituals as I feel that sometimes it doesn't hurt to pray to Amaterasu if that means the ones that die can find peace in their next lives." Shinra replied in panic as he didn't want to insult Naruto or his beliefs.
Naruto nodded his head.
"Sure." He smiled, "This isn't really all that fancy so it should be simple." Naruto walked over to the shrine and Shinra inspected the shrine. While he remembered the captain bringing in the statue and the stuff that he needed, he never got to see the set up. The shrine was pretty and it was very intricate design.
"Don't touch please Shinra." Naruto came back from his room with a necklace in his hand and handed it to him. "It was a real mess to set up and explain the process so I rather not upset the goddess."
Shinra nodded his head and looked at the necklace. It was just like Naruto's necklace being a simple golden flame.
"So," he held it up, "Do I put this on or something?"
Naruto nodded his head.
After the necklace was around Shinra's neck, Naruto took a sitting position on his knees, Shinra copied the motion.
Naruto put his hands together and closed his eyes, again Shinra copied the motion.
"Lady Amaterasu, I present another soul that wishes to give thanks to you. We appreciate the comfort you bring to those in need and the peace you provide in their lives when they pass on."
Shinra saw Naruto just sitting there and he sweated as he had no clue what to do.
"Um, yes Lady Amaterasu, I thank you for the peace you bring to those dear departed souls. May you continue to be a beacon of light for those around us and provide your warmth in times of great need."
Shinra closed his eyes, Naruto opened one of his eyes and smirked.
"Nice prayer." Naruto closed his eyes, "Now we just pray. Think of all the souls that have departed, the ones that are still lingering, and the people that might come down the line. Pray for all of them and wish them the best for the future and hope they never succumb to the flame."
Shinra nodded his head and started to think of his mother and brother. Seeing their faces, his heart broke and he wondered,
'Amaterasu, if you can hear me, please guide me to my brother and I pray one day to know what really happened that awful night.' Shinra prayed in silence, taking comfort in this prayer.
Naruto prayed for all the souls that he could and he sighed, removing his hands from their prayer form and smiled at Shinra.
"See? That is all there is to it." Naruto said with a cocky shrug.
Shinra opened his eyes and smiled,
"Woah, that is really simple."
Naruto laughed,
"Oh, trust me there are other rituals but most of them are done only on specific days, during certain times of the year, and much more." Naruto informed as he stood up and helped Shinra stand.
"Really?" Shinra smiled, "We'll let me know when you're doing them, I'll join you! I mean it must be better to pray with someone else?"
Naruto nodded his head and got a sad smile,
"Yeah, my Kaa-San and I use to pray all the time together. Even my Tou-San joined in from time to time."
"Really?"
"Yeah." Naruto smiled at the memories of the past. "It was good times, I remember my mother told me one time as a baby I actually started chewing on the head of the statue she freaked out worried offending the goddess."
Shinra laughed,
"Yeah, I told my mother when I was child that I would be a super hero. Someone that would always swoop in when people need me the most. She thought it was cute and even gave me a cape when I was a child. The funniest thing about is that my brother laughed when I did this really weird pose."
Naruto smiled,
"Really what did it look like?"
Shinra blushed,
"Um, you ever see those old super hero movies where they strike that pose with their arms stretched and stuff?"
Naruto thought about it and then realized what he meant,
"No way you mean that stuff like Sentima man!"
Shinra blushed darkened. Naruto laughed,
"Hey no shame! They were cool growing up!" Naruto put his arm around his shoulder, "Tell you what, I know some shops in some of the Proto-nationalist area that sell some pretty cool stuff! We might even find you some more stuff on super heroes."
Shinra smiled,
"Yeah, that sounds cool. Can't wait."
Naruto nodded his head and got up, Shinra handed him back the necklace but he pushed it into his hand.
"Keep it who knows it might bring you more luck than you think?" Naruto winked at him, "Hero."
Shinra blushed again but ran off after all the teasing. Naruto just laughed,
"Too easy to tease."
Naruto frowned and quickly went into his room to get changed into his uniform. Now he had to head to the stupid church.
'I swear one crack and I don't care if he is the ruler, I will smack him.'
Holy Sol Temple
Naruto frowned as he, Tamaki, Shinra, Captain Obi, and Lt. Hinawa were entering the Church's most holy ground.
He really hated coming here, especially when Burns had to drag him here from time to time due to his bad habit of getting into fights when he was gone.
Seeing Flamm, Naruto smiled but then frowned seeing the worn look on his face.
"Lieutenant Flamm," Naruto saluted the LT and the man smiled.
"Lt. Flam." Tamaki greeted, smiling as she saluted their superior.
"Naruto, Tamaki, good to see your doing well. It seems that your stay with the 8th is benefiting you both." Flamm said with little to no emotion.
Naruto smiled, with an inquisitive look.
"Yeah." He won't mention the temple was set up in the station, last thing the 8th needed.
"Is there something wrong, Lieutenant?" Tamaki asked as she could see something was bothering Flamm.
Flamm turned to Tamaki and sighed.
"There was an incident today. Right before the meeting we were trying to interrogate Rekka but someone had snuck in and killed Rekka before taking his own life."
Naruto's eyes widened.
Tamaki was gasping.
Shinra's eyes widened and the others were just as shocked.
Naruto recovered the quickest,
"Do we know what he did to Rekka?"
Flamm shook his head,
"Other than the bug nothing for sure." Flamm explained.
Naruto frowned,
'This Evangelist, whoever they are. They are sure well informed. Only a handful of people would know where Rekka was being kept in Interrogation let alone be allowed in those sections.'
Naruto knew that this Evangelist was a greater threat than originally thought.
Flamm turned to the group,
"You should all head into the meeting, things are about to start."
The group nodded their heads while Naruto looked at the church and then the power plant not too far away.
He frowned remembering his mother's warning.
Flashback…
"That power plant is evil Naruto-chan. Never forget that. The Church, Hajima Industry, all of them know what really is going on in that damn place."
"What do you mean Kaa-San?"
The woman smiled,
"One day I'll tell you but for now just never forget that place is truly evil."
Flashback End..
Naruto could only stare at the power plant, remembering this conversation.
'Now that I got a better look, there is something ominous off with that place, almost as if it is alive.'
Naruto shook his head.
He walked into the church and quickly took a seat next to Shinra and Tamaki.
In front he saw Captain Burns, just staring ahead as if nothing was going on. But Naruto knew his godfather well enough to know that the man was thinking about the death of Rekka and what that could mean.
In another seat was a short man with a mustache and goatee, he had no eyebrows and a serious expression on his face. He was dressed as someone of the Japanese military, Naruto knew that this balding man was the Captain of the 2nd Gustav something.
Naruto knew from the reputation the man might command the second Fire Force but they were more military than the other branches and given what he has seen of Juggernaut, apparently full of just as many oddballs as any other Fire Force.
In another row was a man wearing a gas mask, wearing a top hat, a red scarf, and a black long sleeve cloak and white gloves while carrying a cane in his hand.
Naruto narrowed his eyes,
'Giovanni.'
Naruto knew from personal experience that man was different from the rest of the Fire Force. Something about him always felt off, more Naruto couldn't shake it but it seemed like there was more going on behind his mask than what was seeable.
Naruto turned his attention not noticing that the gas masked man was looking at him and frowning underneath.
'What a troublesome brat.'
Across the room he saw the captain of the 4th; he was an elderly man covered in scars and wearing a pair of thin glasses with big glass circles. He seemed to be falling asleep but Naruto wasn't sure given that he apparently slouches over quite often.
He saw captain Hibana but didn't pay much attention to her given that apparently, she had some kind of thing for Shinra and she was riding in the car with them.
Next was the sixth, a Chinese woman with slanted eyes, short black hair, and a blank expression.
Naruto knew that woman was the head of the healing field and that her entire division was nothing but healers. So, they were mostly kept behind the front lines and ordered to care for those that are caught in the crossfire in battle or injured in the worst ways.
He had to respect them even if they worship Sol.
Next, Naruto saw a man walk into the room with a bored expression. The man had a red tunic top, black bottoms, and black boots. The man had long messy black hair and seemed to have mismatching eyes with one being an X and the other being a O. The man was accompanied by another man with brown hair in a ponytail, a scar on his nose, black eyes, and wearing the same uniform. But Naruto could see bandages under his uniform signaling to Naruto something he is all familiar with,
'Tephrosis. Such a bitch to deal with.' Naruto looked at his own arm and frowned, 'Healing from that is never easy and it sure hurts.'
Naruto saw the Seventh take a seat in the middle of the venue and throws his legs over the back of the pew. He closed his eyes and just leaned back while his friend was sitting there with his hands in his sleeves.
"That's the 7th. They usually never come to meetings." Tamaki whispered to Naruto.
Naruto nodded his head hearing the rumors about the 7th and how they were recruited to the Force by Burns.
Shinra gave a nervous smirk,
"I heard he is the strongest fire soldier."
The captain looked up and saw the smile and got irritated,
"What are you smiling at, you piece of crap?"
"Waka!"
His friend was trying to placate him but Naruto saw that it was more to keep him from doing something rash for a misunderstanding.
'So, the captain has a short fuse while having tremendous power while his Second-in-Command seems to be the more leveled head of the two of them.' Naruto thought as he made his decision.
Naruto stood up and dusted off his pants,
"I'm going to say hi." Naruto mumbled to Tamaki.
Naruto walked away from the group with Obi failing to stop him and Shinra and Tamaki trying to usher him back.
The two men saw a young blond teen with whisker marks on his face walking up to them and his blue eyes seemed to burn at the sight of them.
'Waka' asked,
"Is there something you need, shit-stain?"
"Waka." His friend frowned.
Naruto took a deep breath and held his hands in a prayer and had his necklace jingle out from his uniform.
Both men's eyes widened.
"Greetings may Amaterasu bless you on this day."
The two of them were looking at the teen in shock.
The rest of the room heard what Naruto said and the Captain of the 2nd jumped to his feet.
"How dare you! You dare to bring that religion into this holy temple! Cease this behavior or you shall answer to me, Gustav!" Capt. Gustav demanded as he posed.
'Waka' simply put his feet on the ground, stood up, and walked in front of the teen. Staring him down Naruto could feel the weight of his strength.
'It is like a small fire compared to a burning inferno there is just no matching it.'
The man looked at him while his friend was getting ready to leap out of his seat.
Soon a cough was heard and everyone saw the Destroyer laughing.
Everyone who knew this man was shocked, except for his second, and he just laughed. He laughed to the point that he had tears in his eyes.
He put his hand on the teen's shoulders.
"You got balls don't you brat?"
Naruto nodded his head,
"Of course, I'm a proto-nationalist myself."
The man smiled and took a step back before performing the same gesture.
"May Amaterasu bless you on this fine day. My name is Shinmon Benimaru."
Naruto nodded his head,
"My name is Uzumaki Naruto. That is just my shortened name but my full name is Uzumaki Namikaze Naruto." He explained.
Benimaru nodded his head,
"Good to meet you." He rubbed the back of his head. "So, got to ask: are you her kid?"
The room watched in anticipation.
"Yes." Naruto nodded his head, "My Kaa-San was Uzumaki Kushina."
Those that knew groaned, the pope had walked into the room and he was watching the proceedings with interest.
The rest of the room that didn't know Naruto's lineage was shocked. He was the son of the most feared Proto nationalist to ever live and someone that was heralded as the greatest fire user of all time? So feared that even the church did their best to not step on her toes.
"Well then you should know, your free to visit the 7th I have no problem the son of the Destroyer coming to visit."
Naruto bowed his head,
"Thank you, Captain Shinmon."
He nodded while Naruto looked at his second in command and thought about something but he would voice it later.
The rest of the room turned to focus on the Pope who coughed.
"If there are no more interruptions let us begin with this meeting."
The room nodded their head while Naruto just sat back down with the 8th but the minute, he did Tamaki stomped on his foot.
"Fuck!" He whispered, barely making any noise as he pushed down his irritation and pain.
"That is for causing a scene idiot." Tamaki hissed back.
Naruto glared at her before sighing, deciding it would be better to listen.
"As you all know this is a great new threat to our lands. This Evangelist is a true threat to the Sol Temple and to the kingdom. We are dealing with blasphemers who would dare to sully our beloved city with their lies. We can't abide by this." The man coughed, "As such I want all Fire Force units to band together in order to deal with immediate threat-,"
"Would you shut up."
Everyone turned to Benimaru with the captain of the 2nd jumping to his feet.
"How dare you! Captain Benimaru, you dare to speak to our holy leader! In such a vulgar matter, cease this behavior or you shall answer to Gustav!"
Benimaru sneered,
"Shut up, I don't care to hear my name backwards."
The room frowned.
Benimaru quickly hopped to his feet,
"I never swore loyalty to your kingdom or your god. The 7th is nothing more than outcasts and degenerates," he proceeded to walk out of the pews with his Second following. "We'll keep operating as we normally would."
"Stop right there!"
"Hold it." The pope called for him to come back but he ignored him.
But when he got to the door, he felt someone behind him and turned his head to see it was Naruto.
"You got something to say pup?"
Naruto sighed,
"Listen Captain Shinmon I get how you feel. I really do, but I think you need to hear this at least. Because I have undisputed proof that this is actually happening. If you just give me five minutes."
The man looked at the teen, turned to him, and stared him down with his eyes glowing. Naruto returned the gesture by having his own aura starting to form around him. His red cloak appeared and out of it was coming one of his tails.
The room tensed.
The guards to the Pope quickly stepped in front of him to protect him in the case a fight breaks out.
The tension passes as Beni sighs,
"Alright kid, you got my attention. Show me this proof."
Naruto nodded his head and turned off his fire.
"Of course." Naruto turned to the rest of the room, reaching into his pocket he pulled out a vial revealing a skittering bug.
"Here this is the proof we need." He held the bug out for everyone to see.
The other captains that didn't know about the bug stared at the bug in question but didn't question it as they saw something was off. As if, it was looking for something but they didn't' know what.
Especially when it slammed into the glass and scratched it when it laid its buggy eyes on Shinra.
Everyone saw how the bug scratched against the glass, desperately wanting to get near the Break-Dancing Fire Soldier.
The pope looked and frowned.
Was this the source of his people turning into Infernals?
Those that were in the know how nodded their heads already familiar with the bug itself.
Beni leaned near the bug and saw it lunge at him. He stared at the bug and his eyes seemed to glow, as if they were examining something.
He soon pulled his head away and sighed,
"Alright kid you made me a believer." He looked at the bug, "If those things are responsible then I'll keep an eye out for them but this Evangelist, I want nothing to do with it as long as he doesn't bother Asakusa."
Naruto nodded his head and watched the captain and his second leave, Naruto smiled.
'At least he is not unreasonable.'
"Young man."
Turning his head, he saw the pope looking at him.
"If that bug really is the source of the recent Infernal outbreak, I need you to hand it over to Captain Giovanni for further research."
Naruto frowned, while he wanted to refuse, he wouldn't endanger his new company. So, walking over to the gas masked man he took the bug out of his hand without ever looking at him.
Naruto narrowed his eyes and could feel something was off, he was not sure what but something inside of him was screaming.
But he ignored it for now and took his seat next to his Captain and crew in which the Pope then began his soapbox again.
'Man loves to hear himself speak and sound so profound.'
"Shinra Kusakabe," He looked at the teen, "I've come to understand you have an Adolla Burst, correct?"
The rest of the room smiled or tensed at this information while Shinra just stared ahead.
"Yes, Rekka confirmed this and stated I had it, an unsullied flame." He looked at the Pope, "Sir what exactly is an Adolla Burst?"
The Pope smiled,
"Simply put it is a flame blessed by Sol themselves. It is a pure and untainted flame. The flame is the same as what powers Amaterasu."
Naruto eyes widened slightly before narrowing to let out a low growl.
'I think I'm starting to get the picture Kaa-San.'
Shinra was surprised,
"An Adolla burst is that powerful?"
"Yes."
"It would seem," Giovanni voiced his thoughts, "This Evangelist is interested in the young boy's Adolla Burst. It would be foolish to let the boy just run around without supervision."
Naruto and the others narrowed their eyes while Shinra shouted,
"Wait lock me up! No, I won't allow that as I can take care of myself just fine!"
"There is no reason that any other company should get involved in the affairs of the 8th."
Hibana turned to Obi and whispered,
"Giovanni works for Hajima and plans to bring him to them."
Obi cut into the conversation,
"I can guarantee Shinra's safety."
The room went quiet while Naruto sighed, he really wanted to leave.
"I believe we can entrust the flame to the young man and his company." He smiled, "Please take care with the precious Adolla Burst, Shinra."
He tented his hands,
"Yes sir!"
Naruto rolled his shoulders and they were soon dismissed.
Leaving the temple Naruto looked over at the power plant and glared,
'If an Adolla Burst is what powers the plant does that mean that someone was sacrificed to the power plant?' Naruto thought as the wind breeze picked up.
"Oh, looks who's close to the truth." A feminine voice whispered softly, as if it was a part of the small breeze that danced across everyone who was leaving.
Naruto turned around, seeing no body.
"Who the hell?"
"Naruto!"
Turning his head, he saw Tamaki staring at him concern.
"Are you alright?"
Naruto looked around and frowned in confusion.
"I think so."
The two of them walked back to the match box while Shinra walked off. Obi waved it off to them explaining he was going to check out the power plant since he never saw it while Naruto frowned.
"Hey Captain." He turned to Naruto, "Do you mind dropping out near Akahisa? I want to check that place out and I was invited to come and see the 7th so this should be a good chance to make friends with them."
Obi stared at Naruto and while he could see he was telling the truth, he couldn't help but think,
'There is more.' He sighed, 'But he'll tell us in time.'
"Sure." He smiled, "Just be careful the last thing I want is to anger the Destroyer."
Naruto nodded his head, getting comfortable in the vehicle, and enjoying the ride while wondering what Shinra is up to.
Amaterasu Plant
Shinra looked up at the plant in shock and surprise. He couldn't help but marvel at their ingenuity.
"Well, good to see you again, Devil Foot."
Shinra turned around and saw Joker standing there. He was wearing his black hat on his head, an eyepatch over one of his eyes, his eye showing a dark purple eye. He is wearing a sleeveless black vest with a white button up shirt underneath, with black slacks, and black loafers.
Shinra got in his stance but Joker held his hands up,
"Whoa hold up I'm not here to fight, Devil Foot." He took a deep hit of his cigarette, "But I'm up for going a couple of rounds if you want."
Shinra's face tensed up.
Joker leaned in with his one eye shining brightly, "You didn't really think you got a hit in just by your own merits, did you? You need to be at least at your blond friend's level to do that."
Shinra frowned,
"Keep Naruto out of this."
"Oh," Joker smiled and leaned back, "It would seem I hit a sensitive spot. But you should know something." He took his cigarette out of his mouth, blowing out some smoke with a fox head appearing from the smoke. "Your friend is more like you than you think."
"Huh?"
He walked up to Shinra and leaned into his ear,
"You don't really think that someone like Kushina could disappear without a trace, do you? Even I wouldn't mess with her, especially when she is defending those that she loves more than anything." His smile darkened, a dark glint in his only eye. "I would know, just like you, his tragedy is just his beginning."
Shinra growled,
"What are you talking about? Stop speaking riddles!"
Joker grabbed Shinra by the throat and pinned him to the wall.
"You really need to reign in that temper of yours. It is only going to get you into trouble." He grinned, "You're close Devil Foot, so close to the truth and since you have come this far, I figured it be a good time to mention a little bit more information about your brother."
"W-What is it?"
Joker smirked and dropped him while whispering in his ear everything he wanted to know until he felt eyes on him.
Akahisa
Naruto was walking through the streets and was enjoying the hospitable atmosphere and he had to admit while not as up to date as other places, it was still a great visit.
While walking through the streets he saw more of the people that wore similar uniforms as Benimaru and walked up to them.
"Hello there," Naruto showed his pendant and bowed to them. "I was hoping you guys could point me in the direction of your captain as I wanted to talk to him about a meeting earlier."
The men nodded their heads one with his arms inside of his blue kimono,
"Yeah, head down the street and you'll see our HQ for the boss and his direct subordinates."
Naruto bowed his head, "Thank you."
The others nodded their heads,
"Oh!" The one that mentioned the directions slammed his fist into his palm, "Be wary. There are two little girls in there that are kinda like Waka's pets so be ready for a tussle if they come after you."
Naruto nodded his head.
He walked away from the men and made it to the mentioned building. There, he walked into the building moving one of the tarps over for easier access.
"Hello is there anyone here?"
"Oh, it's you." Walking out of the back was Benimaru's second in command. "What can I do for you?"
Naruto frowned,
"I was hoping to talk to Captain Shinmon."
"Sorry," he shook his head, "Waka wondered off somewhere and I don't know when he will be back. Most likely it is going to be much later." He smiled, "Sorry."
Naruto sighed.
"Go figure." Naruto rubbed the back of his neck. He really shouldn't be surprised. A proto-nationalist did always have to do his own thing after visiting some place like the Sol's holy temple. Especially since to them it was just a pointless structure and something that was more annoying to walk to when they could have held the meeting almost anywhere with the Pope on a screen.
Hell, why was he needed other than some official orders?
"Sorry about this."
"No problem." Naruto saw the bandages and figured now would be an okay time. "Sir if you don't mind me asking are you alright your body seems badly injured?"
The man smiled sadly,
"Yeah, I pushed my body and my fire power too far and this leads to this. Unfortunately, I'm partially ash now and I'm doing everything I can not to accelerate the process in anyway."
Naruto nodded his head,
"Yeah, overheating sucks." Naruto looked at the man and saw how he was moving and he sighed, 'Me and my bleeding heart.'
"Sir."
"Just call me Kantaro."
"Mr. Kantaro, I think I have something that can help your condition, especially if you want to fight on the front lines again."
Kantaro raised an eyebrow,
"That is a bold claim."
"I wouldn't make it if it was not true." Naruto looked at him, "After all, I have overheated and had part of my body turn to ash multiple times."
The man looked at him over,
"You look pretty healthy."
Naruto rubbed his neck,
"This would be easier to show, do you mind trusting me with this?"
The man shrugged his shoulders, leading him into the upstairs room where he removed his top. There he took off his shirt revealing his bandages which Naruto frowned at.
"Woah this is bad; okay this is going to feel off just please take a deep breath and trust me."
Kantaro frowned but nodded his head.
Naruto took a deep breath and activated his ignition ability, with three of his tails revealed and his ears appearing, he quickly touched the parts on the man's body that were covered in bandages. His tails started to glow gold and release a silent humming noise.
Kantaro at first didn't feel anything other than the heat but soon he groaned, something was happening and he couldn't explain it.
"What is-,"
"Sit still! If you move, you'll ruin the treatment and I can only do so much today!"
The man went silent and sat there, feeling his flames humming over parts of his body and making him moan from the sensation. More, he could feel something happening but he was not sure what and soon could feel a bit of a stinging sensation forming in places he lost feeling in.
'Wait is this-,'
Naruto found himself lifted off the ground and slammed into the wall. He looked into the eyes of a pissed off Benimaru. His eyes were glowing brightly and his frown was prominent.
"What the fuck are you doing to Kantaro! Answer me punk and I'll make your death quick!"
"Waka! Put him down!"
Benimaru looked at his friend,
"But he was," Seeing the serious expression on his friend's face he did as he asked but reluctantly.
Naruto coughed while taking deep breaths.
Looking up at Kantaro,
"How you feeling?"
"I feel, better what did you do?"
"What are you two talking about?"
Kantaro patted his shoulder and smiled, Beni panicked.
"Kantaro don't do that! You know-,"
"It's gone."
Beni raised an eyebrow, "Huh?"

There was bright pink skin, right where the ash used to be. His shoulder was starting to heal and new skin was taking its place.
Benimaru turned to the teen,
